There is no doubt about growing of bitcoin price in future, but we do not know if to what extent it will grow, that is the reason we just say a price from hour hopes and say it as a prediction, and start getting sad later when the price can't reach the target we had set in our minds. Bitcoin doesn't always go our way. Sure, we can speculate the price ourselves but if those speculations have no basis, don't expect them to be accurate at all. With the current situation, I'm expecting bitcoins to further drop but only to a certain amount, say around $450 since BitFinex held quite a lot of volume and it's gone. |

I do not think the bitcoin will drop below $1. I will take action long before it drops there. If the price drops below $500, I will convert all my bitcoin into Ethereum.
That is actually a odd decision, if you do not believe that the price of bitcoins will increase again and sell you bitcoins then why is there a interest in buying ethereum because at the end the price and value of eth is decided by btc ! |

i think bitcoin wallet is too much better and safer than bank wallet . i like bitcoin wallet.
We all agree friend, but the problem is that we still need banks because converting our money into bitcoins and keeping them into wallet is not possible since we cannot trust the rate if bitcoins. Yet I think if price becomes stable then people will start using bitcoins more. |

For a situation like you imagined, each and every citizen must have Internet access to replace all the fiat into crypto currency which is not possible still in many countries. Only bitcoin will remain as decentralized whereas any crypto currency issued by any bank or government would be the crypto currency format of fiat. I think the price volatility, lots of incidents related to black market activities and many other anti-government activities are the major cause that's stopping people from using bitcoins.
I don't think BTC price volatility is the primary cause for not using it. But based on my knowledge as of now bitcoins are not accepted by many governments because they can't track the transactions and can't put taxes on to it so many businesses are not taking it as a payment method. Currently, bitcoins are used mostly in online gambling and for some limited online activities. The price volatility of bitcoin is a concern for the merchants to accept bitcoin payments. When they are accepting bitcoin payments and if the price of bitcoin get lowered then they might incur losses. Also, the pending approvals from the government is a big concern for many people, and they are still waiting for any view from their government to start using bitcoins. You are talking about only losses, but if you are accepting bitcoin payments then we are also having chances to multiply your money when bitcoin prices go up. If you are not ready to take this little risk then you should not adopt bitcoin payments. But, I agree price volatility might be a main concern for many people and still stopping them from using bitcoin. The fear of price volatility must be the lack of knowledge about bitcoin ecosystem. If you are having all the knowledge about the advantages of bitcoin price volatility, then you will never find it as a concern to start using bitcoins. I think bitcoin is acccepted in my country because there is no rules about bitcoin here and in my country only some people know about bitcoin, so the government here not notice the bitcoin.
its good for you, in my country there are no regulations too, but there are some that have dumb laws about bitcoins where it is completely banned like russia At present time, you can get away with bitcoin regulations in your country - if there are. One of the example given here is the banning in Russia but I there are many players in Russian dedicated chatrooms in online casinos I play with. I've always and consistently heard that the last halving will be around 2140, and we know the halvings occur every 4 years. So somebody's math is screwed up somewhere. 2140 would imply there are about 31 more halvings to go.
That's because it's whats published in bitcoin wiki saying that the last halving might occur at 2140. In addition to a screwed math, somebody's probably not reading information about the halving either. @OP, never need to worry about number of halving as it can be unlimited when bitcoin is divisible beyond 8 digits. |

Investment have promising to gives you profit while in gambling you do not have assurance to gain profit it much more you will lose all your bitcoin in wallet.
When you are having your investment without any research, then it is more dangerous than gambling. I have no plan to be rich with bitcoin, for me bitcoin is just a new way to earn extra income but it would be great if I can be rich with bitcoin in the future.
