3861  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: August 24, 2021, 11:15:46 PM
It isn't a had thing to say that banks haven't been able to endorse cryptocurrencies simply because, the government haven't legalised it just yet. Its that simple to understand. Until the government of a nation rounds up cryptocurrency for a legal tender, banks would find it difficult to Its operation within there systems as, the banks are an instant of the government that functions under the control of the central Bank which serves government's purposes. The fact that, the decentralized nature of cryptos and the constantly fluctuating market environment plays a role, the government is the major force behind it not being endorsed by most financial institutions.
You are right but i've seen some banks in my country does really accept nor allowed crypto payments or transactions not like in most of those banks are blocking or closing up accounts which are in relation with those crypto transactions which is something that not new considering that decentralized things is never been compatible with highly regulated or centralized things.

Why would really bother? This is something which isnt needed for only one that do need to exist. They do serve out different markets which its understandable
on why there's some sort of competition, erring between the two.
3862  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: August 24, 2021, 10:08:06 PM
Wow, I can't believe that I missed this site for so long.

I like the fact that there is a very wide range of events that you can stake on, and also that you can trade your positions before expiry. That is definitely much better compared to traditional sportsbooks who either do offer this or charge ridiculous fees for doing so.

I do wonder though, some markets are very prone to insider play (e.g. movies). Is there any strategy to mitigate this?
They've been here for a while already and its just they didnt really make out some updates or being too active into their thread and thats why they do really have lesser attention into this place.

When it comes to range of events then theres no denial that they do really have that thing but due to duration or on the waiting time before you could able to know the results
which is most talking about future events then this is where people do lost up interest.

Although there are still people who does love this kind of way of betting or simply serving out different market based off with different interest.
3863  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: August 24, 2021, 09:11:24 PM
Bitcoin is now rising, and it has jumped by 3k in less than 10 minutes. Although everyone is happy but also worried, is it going to fall again?
My friend asked if I can continue to buy it? But I see a lot of people commenting that giant whales are now controlling the market. I told my friends not to enter the market for now, but my friends seem to have misunderstood me.
Do you think that this kind of market should be forbidden to enter or continue to buy?
I suggest not to panic selling。

When it comes to investing advice it's always on individual preferences or decision as long as they know the risk and they know the market condition if your friend wants to buy because they believe that it's a good time to buy and he is investing what he can afford to lose, then let him proceed, in my experience, I always tell my friend to read a lot and fill themselves with the relevant informant that will help them to buy and sell at the right time.

The issue is that whether you want it or not you will feel good for him when the coin goes up, but the opposite is also true and you feel bad for him and somehow guilty when the coin goes significantly down. I have always refrained from giving a clear recommendation to buy and I did well with it. You can still phrase a recommendation in a way such that you don't really tell him to buy, but wouldn't tell him not to buy might be a better way to put it.
Usually, good friendships are above a recommendation even if it goes wrong because both parties knew that it could happen, but some will be mad at you certainly.
You wont really be having that guilty feeling even if he's your friend as long you do give the warning and hints about the risk of cryptocurrency. It wouldnt be always going on the top and of course you could really

recommend bitcoin to a friend as long you do explain to them about the risk and the earning opportunities and the rest would really be on his own when he do start to step foot into this market.

You shouldnt really make out some assurances because that will totally affect your relationship to your friend once the price had plummeted or opposes on what he do anticipate.
3864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Signals in crypto on: August 24, 2021, 08:08:54 PM
I think signal is not best in crypto because every signal don't hit target and then we loos our money or follow some one which are most expert in crypto which have a great knowledge but you should have some own knowledge then we can follow someone signal
No need for a signal. As you've said, you're like to lose money from it if you're not careful enough following any of those. And that's why you need to research for those that are going to be helpful as you trade. You will miss a lot of knowledge from it if you're not careful by doing it.
Signals don't help you because most of them will give you wrong predictions and wrong signals that it may look honest and good to you but they really are not.
Would be better if you do make your own analysis rather than stressing out yourself on following others hints or signals.Nothing beats off if you are already independent towards your trading career.

For those people who do rely on signals or copy trades are to those people who doesnt really like for themselves to get anymore better with this industry.Signals isnt bad but you should

know on how to determine which is really worth to be followed or something that you could get idea from.
And determining those worth it to follow, you're likely to see them rarely, or at least, there's almost none of it. That is the reason why many have lost money on signals. A personal friend of mine has shared how he got rekt with it and doesn't want to rely on it anymore. He remained as an investor but he's no longer relying on anyone's signal. He reads tips and suggestions of others but the decision that he makes is coming from his own research and analysis because he just can't trust those signals anymore and I hope others will learn from others experience too.
You would surely gain experience too once you decide to go or trade with your own because as long you do engage with things then the more you would be knowledgeable.

I dont really see to be worth on someone to follow someones signals and just like what others been saying that i would rather trade and learn on my own and even i do lost money on my trades

but at least it is my own fault and decision and not on others tips and hints which i couldnt see for it to be worth.
3865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motivated by "breaking the code" on: August 24, 2021, 07:08:14 PM
One of my neighbours, a million years ago, was obviously addict to the slot machines. He would spend hours spinning in a nearby bar (these machines are allowed in bars in my country of origin) and my take is that he would spend a fortune on it. Once, I passed by and I overheard him saying "I am going to teach this machine who is in charge". It sounded like he was attributing some short of conscience and life to the machine and though he could "beat it". I have observed that many people that gamble are into that type of thinking, that is, it is me against this code and this machine and I can actually break the code and win.

I personally do not play slots, but do you think that is why people like slot machines? Short of breaking their code?

It's an addiction like most other forms of gambling.  Why do people play the lottery le scratch offs.  Same terrible probability of winning.  But there is always that dollar and a dream thought, where you can win big.  Will someone, yes.  Will nearly everyone else bankrupt, yep.  Addiction and "the dream".
When you do have that kind of mindset then most likely you would really be walking in the path of addiction and this is something which is really hard to be controlled once you got yourself into it.

We do have different targets and different perceptions towards things and if you do really have that so-called dream on winning big then this would be a main factor that would really driven you off on making actions
which arent supposed to be done.

This is a very wrong kind of motivation because this type does signify addiction and this isnt good.
3866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting bitcoin as payment for my business on: August 23, 2021, 11:24:27 PM
I have been in the forum for some time learning different aspects of bitcoin, now I want to be more practical about bitcoin as a currency. I introduced crypto payments for my business and have been making sales lately. I'm in the clothing industry and I believe in crypto. I have my wallet addresses and barcode printed at the door and pos! For now, I accept Bitcoin, and Etheruem. These are 3 popular coins in my community.
So far customer feedback has been good. Some people are glad to be able to use bitcoin to actually pay for a service, Nigeria is a growing market you see. In addition it has also got my business attraction from customers who are in the crypto space. The challenge though is the issue of transaction fees, 8 out of 10 customers aren't exposed and only use the blockchain wallet. I try to educate them on other wallets with low transaction fees like electrum.
I feel good about this new development. I get to interact with customers about Bitcoin and share ideas

Bitcoin fees now is on its cheapest and thats why i dont see for it to be a problem but it would be an another story if there would be some clogged in the network which do really end up on why most people do really still select fees but its good to see that there are people who are willing to make use of crypto payment directly.

Also one of the reasons on why merchants arent accepting bitcoin or crypto is on volatility issues. If you do go into the brighter side of things then its up to someone
choice and preference.
3867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is not a rival of Bitcoin on: August 23, 2021, 09:20:23 PM
The comparison of the value of etherum and bitcoin is very far, the price of one BTC is $ 45,975 and one Etherum is $ 3,152 (15 August 2021, 16:53:00). Etherum is far behind BTC, although Etherum’s current popularity is great, unfortunately Etherum still can’t be the first in the market. what do you think?
Competition is something that you cant really remove into a certain market and come to think that all of altcoins in the market is inspired on what bitcoin had able to achieved and rivalry would always be there.

The reason on why they cant really overtake bitcoin is that never ever could ever beat up the origin of crypto even though its a bit outdated compared to other newest coins in the market but doesnt mean

that it would really replace bitcoin into the top. Rivalry is something cant be avoided and there would always be those people who would really be having this kind of mindset.
3868  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC on: August 23, 2021, 08:30:03 PM
1xbit has been great so far! Good withdrawals, no issues

Another newbie account. Do you know how many complaints there are against 1xbit? There are so many allegations against them that your review will not have any good effect on them. Those who know about 1xbit will never deposit their money on this website, so without your proof this review will not have any effect.

Using a newbie account to bump this thread is nothing new. Such activities will never bring good results unless they take all issues seriously. So don't think everyone is stupid, now everyone is becoming wary of these types of websites.
They do  currently have some review campaign and its just no brainer that they would really be having these kind of positive words just for those people to get paid.

I have seen that they campaign - signature had relaunched and i  dont really see the point on why they do continue in doing so if they do know that they cant

really get much attention or support specially into this forum.
3869  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why newbies lose huge money in trading on: August 23, 2021, 07:27:51 PM
Many of the beginners expect more so make their own mistakes because of the greed to want to get a lot of profit. but I think it should happen because it can be used as experience in trading for the future. It's better to make mistakes at the beginning so you can learn valuable lessons from experience.
They wont make any learnings if they wouldnt experience those unfortunate conditions although it isnt really that needed but its unavoidable because being a noob would most likely commit out mistakes due to lack of knowledge and experience but on the time that they do able to face up those conditions then they would tend out to learn up something from that and this is where people do become more better and better.

It isnt really much that needed for you lose before you do learn because you can make out things without minding that you should lose. Always having that mindset that you should minimize
risk as small as possible.
3870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on friendly matches on: August 23, 2021, 06:27:02 PM
OP, are you sure that this thread is still decent enough to keep it open? I'm sure this thread was pretty good during preseason, but now a new season has started and I don't think this thread is still relevant enough to be left open. 12 pages seems like enough to see or hear the opinion of the gamblers and now consider locking it. -Just a suggestion.
It do still counts as long it would be open just like those other gambling topics which had lots of pages but still not consider on locking but for sure this thread would be locked by Mods anytime soon just like on what happened on other threads as well.

On topic reply if i would be gambling on friendly matches? Depends but most of the time i wont re ally be considering on putting up some bets. Why? most of the time on where underdog teams
could beat up the better one. They arent playing on their full potential or all seriousness.
3871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I rather stay hungry than sell my Bitcoin on: August 23, 2021, 05:58:03 PM
all of this requires a strong mentality, don't ever be tempted to sell our assets but nothing is impossible, because seeing our needs when it's not safe it will definitely be shaken and have the intention to release everything, there must be a target we release with what number so there is no panic.

The OP statement is not practical as people will sell their bitcoin in case of urgent need. No one can stay hungry and not spend the bitcoin. Bitcoin is important but health is more important than bitcoin. If you do not have life, then the bitcoin will be of no use.

The practical approach is to buy bitcoins with spare money which you do not need in mid to long term.
Those Bitcoin would come to waste if you are already dead or in hospitalization because you had compromised your health which i could say that true fortune could a person would have.
Spent money for your health and dont really hold into something when you are on a hard situation.

I would never ever consider this kind of act on where saving up money even though you are on a very tough situation?

Money or profits would be all useless if you are dead or got sick.So better make some good and sensible choice rather than on making yourself look dumb into your decisions.
3872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: August 22, 2021, 10:58:57 PM
Rich people most of the time doesnt really care about their finances as long they do get that entertainment that they've been seeking of then they dont really mind on how much they would be spending.
Its the reality and its just really a waste to think off about on how they do spend up their money but well its their money to spend on not ours. Casinos had made out default
on having those sexy ladies inside the premises just to make the place look more better or with good ambiance and its just too awkward if they would be replacing males instead.
For people like us without too much money what the rich do may make it seem as if they are being irresponsible with their money, however in order to become rich on your own then you need to be responsible with your money as you need to know where every single dollar is going so you do not waste it, however the rich can afford things that we cannot even within those strict boundaries that they put to themselves and they can afford a crazy night at a casino if that is what they want while we cannot do it since we do not have the funds to do so.

If you are too much concern about your dollars and money, then you should not be in gambling anyway. Gambling is a risky game and only who can afford to take risk should play gambling.
Also it is considered that gambling is for the rich people and therefore rich people won't mind spending money on sexy girls in the casinos too.
Gambling isnt for those people who do value money that much or simply trying to save up as much as they can because when you do attach yourself in gambling then expect for the losses to come.

For those people who are minding about those sexy ladies on the casinos then it just part of their strategy to make the place more attract and would hook up more male gamblers.

It is just really pleasant in the eyes on having those sexy ladies around but take note or be careful for you not to get distracted.
3873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who's been buying recently? on: August 22, 2021, 09:55:44 PM
Everyone hopes to invest in bitcoin, this can be seen from the enthusiasm of the current condition, there is indeed a different treatment of people's investment patterns, compared to big whales or companies, this can affect the value and state of bitcoin.

That's why people choose to invest in bitcoin, because the profits they get are even more promising than investing in other altcoins, but in a broad sense almost everyone wants bitcoin to rise and be stable.
Many see the progress of bitcoin from so many times it drops and is still able to recover. At this time I noticed many individuals whom I know engaging in crypto just now even they already know bitcoin before but never give a try it. The adoption makes them trust it as well that many projects are implementing the use of it as well its accessibility. The more the people adopt, the more the people see that there's no harm in having it.
When it comes to buying decision then it would really be depending on someones preference and we know that not all would be having the same mindset. The market is always been open for you to buy in,although

there are really some factors which would really affect someones profitability and this is why hesitance and doubts cant really be avoided. Whose been buying recently? It would be always talking about

retail traders, institutional buyers and other which do really buy out if they do see some chance of profits. So the answer on this one is everything would be random.
3874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 22, 2021, 08:59:18 PM
We don't know, both has the possibilities and whether it's for this year or next year, we the fans are the winners of this. Inoue is just waiting for the fight as he's always ready to fight with anyone. And if the promoters will have this match process already, we might see it happen at the soonest that it can. We all want that to happen so that Casimero can have his continous match and we'll also see if he'll be able to beat Inoue or it's Inoue that will be the undefeated.
Inou wants to fight Casimero, so we will not see the rematch this year. This is going to be karma for Donaire if the Casimero vs Inoue fight will happen because he canceled his possible fight with Casimero just because he got respected for the trash talk, Inoue is disrespected but he wants to teach Casimero a lesson and beat him down, that's the difference between the two.
That's going to be the bad side for Donaire if this won't happen. And we're seeing that Inoue is more flamed and interest in fighting Casimero now because of those hot talks that's being thrown to him. Donaire should better but even if we're not going to see this match. There's still the likely that these trio will have their own preferences and we will see like the triangle matches for these three. Just props to Casimero that he's effective at taking matches and knows how to deal with people just after his match.
Well, Donaire has fought this year and won a belt, I think that's a big achievement already at his age, if he can wait, he will get his time right after the Inoue vs Casimero fight, however, if Casimero would win and he will be at the top, I'm afraid he might not fight Donaire to let Donaire feel how is it not getting a good fight because he cancelled a supposed to be firepower fight between him and Casimero.
We Will see if that would happen, I am not thinking of that for now as Inoue is not an easy opponent, Casimero may be strong but Inoue has a more impressive fight as we can see on his record, Casimero is probably the toughest opponent of Inoue but the younger champion still has the edge over the trash talking Filipino.
Trashtalking is just for show or making things a bit more interesting rather than on staring and no tactful interaction between the two or against with the fans. Even though he's really that tactful or somewhat boastful
then this guy is really kind and cool in real life.

This is just a business and if you do make things a bit more spicier then expect that revenue or profits or paycheck would really a bit more higher compared if you havent done anything.

I cant deny too that Casimero might be the toughest opponent for Inoue but lets see on how he would really perform inside the ring.
3875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 19, 2021, 04:52:53 PM
~
Nothing but for the sake of him having a fight instead of wasting time waiting for another one, this replacement is good enough and we should focus with them after all, even we do mentioned names those fighters will not accept as soon as possible knowing how strong Manny was, they will ask for time to condition and to scout how they going to counter Pacquiao's capabilities.

Ugas needs to take the risk of fighting back once they've met. Continue to guard yourself will just give Manny more time
to keep throwing punch on him.
Yordenis Ugas is taking the risk because he is not a big time player even though he is a champion and he might see this as an opportunity to make money and we can very well say that it is a step down from the level of competition as Manny was scheduled to face Errol Spence Jr but the risks are higher because a  win for Yordenis Ugas in this fight could change his fortunes as well.
Manny is also taking a risk, after all he spend a lot of time preparing to face an opponent and now he is facing a completely different fighter, so while he spent a lot of time preparing to the different punch combinations he could face from Spence now he has to face a completely different fighter and he could be surprised by a punch that came out of nowhere, so despite the ability of Manny this fight could get complicated as Manny will have to figure out his opponent in the ring.
I dont think for it to be that much different because the remaining days before the fight happens is just sufficient for him to make out some adjustments if ever they would really be having some changes.

Im not saying that it would be simple but of course we are talking on some legend on here, for sure he would able to patch it up because of sudden changed of opponent. Different boxing style would be
needing different strategy but in most cases fighting style would remain even though there  are just bit adjustments.

3876  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: August 19, 2021, 03:39:51 PM
~

I don't think it's necessary to continue discussing the risk to you because it makes your friends continue to panic and be afraid to invest. It's a good idea to explain strategies and steps to play cryptocurrencies properly and correctly. when exactly to buy and when exactly to sell.
I think if it's like this, your friends will be easy to understand and interested in investing.
Now that's a stupid one, if you aren't an expert on trading or works as a professional on the field, you don't have the right to discuss strategies because you're just feeding them BS that might not work for them. Telling them right away the risk is much better because you let them know what they're getting into so they won't blame you when there's losses.
Blaming would be there because they do know that you are instructing them on what to do and giving out somewhat some assurances with crypto investment and if it turns out to be bad then theres no other that they can blame off but only you.

You can recommend bitcoin to a friend but always remember to tell off about the risk so that they wont really be expecting that much in regards to this.
They would only realize off things when they do already got the experience on their own. Just dont make any assurances that  they could really profit off from time to time.
3877  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: August 18, 2021, 10:12:32 PM
Daytrading gives you the impression of earning money daily but it is not so! Dytrading is difficult and it could be fatal as well! Imaging losing your capital just because of human error or mistake on your part! I think holding is even more profitable in the long run than daily trading profit ( if there is any profit at all daily)
It is true that day trading is more difficult and now you need to pay taxes and fees and as such the profits are not as good as it may seem at first sight, but a good trader must be able to perform better than what the market can give them otherwise there is no point in trading so while your point make sense it is only true for those that are unable to master day trading, for those that can do so it is better for them to keep trading as they can obtain more profits than if they just held their coins.
No brainer that active traders could really earn much more than into those people who had held too long but its someone decision because we do have different capability on trading or specially with investment.

Holding is something thats an option for those who are not really sure on dealing with the market but for those who do like to deal with volatility then they are the ones who do really take risk on
dealing with it and make profits in short term duration.

Execution is different but it do share up the same goal which is to make profits but duration would really be different.
3878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or playing? on: August 18, 2021, 09:16:34 PM
Find the audience for your game then make them to be addicted and then make money out of it that is their strategy and its one of its kind, people who are obsessed with that game will go for it no matter what and certainly it is expensive and high risk than compared with a casino where we have lot of choices.
^ I think it will always depend on the users, there are some people who only want to play the game not to gamble. For others, also want to gamble not to play. I don't think if underage will be able to become addicted to gambling in such game, they don't have money to support that kind of activity at the first place and most likely those young teenagers are like more having fun than looking for money online and gamble, they are dependent to their parents when it comes to the financial aspect so I don't think they will able to survive gambling if they want to.
They will not survive if they just rely on the allowance, but addiction will make them do everything and they'll find a way to gamble, and it might result for them stealing money which is not good. That's why prevention is always better than cure, so as a parent, we should monitor our children as they are minors, weak and easily get addicted, whatever happen to them, nothing to be blame by us.
There's no other person to be blamed but only you as a parent but not totally because there are really some decisions which cant really be handled out by parents but totally in self will.

This is why its better to give out some awareness and let them realize that gambling is never been a good thing specially on young minds. It will just create or mold something which would

really be a big problem in the future. As a kid or a son then you shouldnt really be that too hasty on dealing up with things which is connected to gambling.
3879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Have you given up on airdrop? on: August 18, 2021, 08:16:04 PM
There are NFT games that offer an Airdrop to the community.

It will just take a few minutes to participate. NFT games on the hype with a good reason so spending time looking for NFT airdrops might worth your time. In ICO's before, we already spend time participating on these so maybe it should not harm our time if you consider guys to participate on NFT airdrops.

Let your DYOR test you.
NFT is being hype because with the games that were launched it is booming and this is one of the reasons why it is a trend, and indeed there are many airdrop offers to the community with NFT being obtained.

I did the airdrop in a few minutes and it didn't interfere with my work meaning it didn't take long for the task and would only wait for uncertain results but I just let it go, later I want to see the best results.

But remember that not all airdrops are good, it's still up to each person and judge about which offers are good in this airdrop.
As long it wouldnt really make out some interference on your main job or activity then it isnt really bad to consider on dealing with airdrops and as long it wont be asking out some gas fee or money or KYC

then it isnt really bad on at least trying out to register or whitelist yourself because getting free tokens isnt bad because there would always be some chances that those peanut could really be significant
once the project had able to pump out.

There are still people who do love airdrops but for those who had already some experience then for sure majority of them had already turned their back off.
3880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some individuals hostile to Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2021, 10:38:00 PM
For some time now I have constantly come across prominent individuals in society sponsoring hate speech against Bitcoin, most surprisedly These individuals either own traditional financial platforms such as banks and they are expected to be knowledgeable in investment and financial transactions and processes that seek to eliminate all the security challenges faced in the banking system through blockchain technology which give end-to-end encryption that guarantees a high level of security.

What are their motives could it be that they are just anti Bitcoin or attacking Bitcoin because it is a competitor that will soon push them out of business.
Can be both!

You dont know if those are just personal views and opinions or just simply they are commanded or been paid up to do so.You know that you cant really please everybody even though Bitcoin is something revolutionary in terms of payment system which it do talks about no 3rd party involved or simply decentralized.

On general sense you could eventually say that this is really a good stuff but there are people who do really hate up specially the government itself.Everything which isnt centralized is really not their taste.

You could really expect those negative thoughts and words against bitcoin and honestly im not really surprised into those after all the years we've been here.
