3861  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: 2.3 bitcoins were stolen from me! on: April 09, 2021, 04:42:34 PM
Even if we consider what you are saying is true and you have lost 2.3 bitcoins and neglect the fact that the youtube video is 2 years old you should know that once the bitcoins are gone from your wallet it cannot be reverted. Nobody will send you your coins unless someone is really generous. So you should consider your coins lost.
3862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving bitcoins as a gift? on: April 09, 2021, 04:35:20 PM
10 - 15 BTC is definitely a big amount and it would definitely impact her life in someway. We cannot say if the impact would be good or bad.
10 - 15 BTC might not be a big deal for you but just imagine what if this amount created a bad impact in her life. Would you feel good knowing the fact that your gift ruined your favourite person's life ?
If you want to gift that person something then you shouldn't gift her money but instead do something for her that she will remember for lifetime.
Like send a paid vacation for their whole family or pay her children's school fees or find out if she is having some kind of problems in her life and try to solve them or something similar.
3863  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin may go bull soon on: April 08, 2021, 12:28:55 PM
This is not a certainty but a means bitcoin price can be predicted. Whales and many holders have sold bitcoin since February, the number of addreses holding 1000 bitcoin reduced by 10% till now, and data have revealed that whales have stopped selling because the numbers of addresses holding 1000 has not been decreasing unlike from February, also long-term bitcoin holders are no more selling like before, the rate of selling has slowed down. Miners have turned into accumulation again just like when such bull market was predicted last in March. Lastly what makes me think this can result to bull market is because institutions are still in high demand for bitcoin.

Quote
https://cointelegraph.com/news/5-key-reasons-why-bitcoin-will-likely-see-new-all-time-highs-soon
Weekly ascending triangle close to a break
Since the beginning of February, a weekly ascending triangle has formed. Statistically, this chart pattern gives a higher likelihood of breaking to the upside than to the downside.

If the price were to break to the upside, the size of the triangle suggests a potential breakout target toward $79,000. While neither the break to the upside nor the price target is a certainty, it is a chart worth keeping an eye on alongside major on-chain

What is your say on this? As for me I think bitcoin price may likely still increase soon?

As you say the number of bitcoin addresses holding more than 1000 BTC has decreased lately, the bitcoin dominance has also decreased lately and the BTC volume also shows that there has been a sell off indicating the weak hands are gone. If bitcoin holds at the current price level then we might see a bull run soon as new traders buying bitcoin will start a bull run. I might be wrong but I believe this is how bitcoin will be starting a bull run towards 100k target.
3864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risks of instituations holding bitcoin on: April 05, 2021, 06:02:57 PM
I came across this article about  instituations holding bitcoin what do you think, is it a risk what is your opinion ?
https://cryptonews.com/exclusives/institutions-retail-compete-for-bitcoin-which-is-the-biggest-9695.htm

Institutions might be a potential threat to bitcoin's "price" and not bitcoin itself.

The price of bitcoin is a speculative part and institutions trading it will only affect the price of bitcoin and not it's usage.
Bitcoin will still be usable as a currency. Also, even if bitcoin's price is dumped due to huge sell of from institutions it will still be able to recover the price as they start buying bitcoin again.
3865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went big into Bitcoin and Ethereum... on: April 05, 2021, 05:59:06 PM
Coinbase has been here for a long time now but make sure you don't hold large amount in it for a long time.
Exchanges are a bad place to hold large amount of cryptocurrencies. It's good that you order a hardware wallet but makesure you keep it safe.
Transfer all your coins to the hardware wallet as soon as you get it and take the necessary precautions in it securing it.
Also, do not tell anybody about it as you get more prone to getting hacked or robbed when you tell people about your holdings.
3866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of people who buy bitcoin. on: April 05, 2021, 05:50:24 PM
Bitcoin is being owned by many people around the globe. Not all of them are huge investors.
These people will be a mix of traders, normal investors, institutional investors, employees, freelancers, merchants etc..
It's hard to completely list the types of people actually holding it.
3867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am writing an article on how to stop bitcoin. Can you guy help out? on: April 05, 2021, 05:35:25 PM
Maybe I'm wrong or too optimistic about Bitcoin, but I believe the only thing that can physically stop Bitcoin is    a blackout electricity. If suddenly electricity goes away foever, we won't be able to mine/use Bitcoin.

It would have made sense if you would have said that electricity would go off temporarily.
Electricity will never go off forever unless there is some new type of energy the drives the world and that won't be happening in next few generations at all.
So basically there's no stopping to bitcoin. It will probably stay here for the long run.
3868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About 20% of all Bitcoin (BTC) in circulation was lost – Study shows on: April 05, 2021, 05:26:51 PM
As many have said earlier, the data for lost bitcoins can never be accurate as there is no sure way of determining that.
There might be people holding bitcoins since 2011 but have never accessed it and that cannot be counted in lost bitcoins.
So I believe that the % would be less than what it is shown in the chainanalysis reports.
3869  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I coded a bot that buys bitcoin every time Elon Musk tweets about bitcoin and op on: April 05, 2021, 04:03:22 PM
Creating such a bot is quite easy but it is better to get a notification instead of directly buying BTC at that time.
After getting the notification we can decide whether we want to buy bitcoin or not depending on the trend and other factors.

Personally, I think that Elon's tweets just provoke a pump and dump strategy.
I don't take part in pump and dumps which is why I would never use such a bot.
3870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marvel featuring Bitcoin!!😀 on: April 04, 2021, 04:25:52 PM
Wow, that's some nice free promotion but it's nothing more than that to be honest. I am a Marvel fan too and yeah it feels good to have bitcoin featured by them.
But they probably did it just because of the bitcoin hype in the market due to it's massive increase in price.
It would be good to see if Marvel introduces more of bitcoin rather than just a text message.
3871  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is the any direct faucet pay to my wallet Instantly on: April 04, 2021, 04:17:39 PM
Is the any direct fauct pay to my wallet, not bypass any Faucetpay or any another site, but directly pay the crypto to my wallet? any crypto is ok

The thing is faucets pay in just Satoshis and as a user we have to collect those Satoshis at regular intervals.
I don't think there is any faucet that would pay instantly for every faucet reward because the bitcoin transaction fees is too high for such micro transactions.
This is why all faucets require you to have a minimum withdraw amount criteria to be fulfilled.
Freebitco.in is one of the faucets where you can collect Satoshis and withdraw after meeting the minimum withdraw amount of 0.0003 BTC
3872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: April 04, 2021, 04:07:11 PM
I used to get the worst feeling when my internet used to get disconnected while betting on the crash game.
I used go wait to cash out but since the internet used to gets disconnected I wouldn't be able to cash out and then lose the bet.
I know there's a auto cash out feature as well but I am lazy enough to avoid that frequently.
Losing multiple times due to this issue made me use auto cash out often these days  Grin
3873  Local / India / Re: Would you sell BTC for real estate ? on: April 04, 2021, 04:02:44 PM
I would advice you to go for it if you think that investing in a real estate property will aide you better. I invested in real estate a few years ago and i am also planning to construct a good home for me and the profit in bitcoin will be a bonus for me as the cost of building a home is high and i do not want to be in debt after construction Grin.

Well, I am not sure if we can say that the investment would yield better results. If we compare it with bitcoin, bitcoin can easily double up within a year.
But for the real estate property to double up, it would at least take 3-5 years. But yeah the feeling of having a tangible asset with low risk and good returns is definitely there.
3874  Local / India / Would you sell BTC for real estate ? on: April 03, 2021, 05:11:38 PM
I will keep this short and simple.

So I have got this really good opportunity to buy a plot in my hometown. The value for it is bound to increase in near future as per the locality and developments around it.
To buy it I would have to sell my BTC (not all but most of it). The question here is, would you sell your BTC given you were in such a situation ?

If not, why? (something other than speculation)
3875  Economy / Gambling / Re: If you loose your funds don't loose the fun on: April 03, 2021, 04:59:21 PM
That's very true. Learning from our experiences is what makes us stronger in the long run.
I have personally lost a lot in gambling and trading and this has made me stronger. So even when I lose the next time, I don't care much about the amount lost.
On the other hand, I never gamble/trade with larger amount. Only gamble for fun.
I also used to gamble quite a lot and lose on trading too.  However, it must be borne in mind that the fact that you are losing it can be completely different money.  It's one thing when it's honestly earned money, another thing when it comes without much difficulty, for example, an inheritance or, by the way, tokens received in 2010-2014, when they were worthless.  I think that when you lose money in the game, the reaction also depends quite strongly - the one who got the money without difficulty can laugh more.  And who honestly earned money may not be so funny at all.
 Smiley

That's a really good point. The source of money used for gambling does make a huge difference.
Sometimes I use the money from airdropped tokens for gambling and often lose them all without any bad feelings.
Sometimes I use my earned money for gambling and lose it and then get a little sad.
But it's all in good spirit. Gambling is meant only for fun.

Also, another thing is that it doesn't hurt much when we used profits earned from gambling itself to gamble more and lose.
For example: If I lose the $10 I deposited for gambling then that would hurt me a little.
But if I had gained 3x profits from it and then lost $10 then that wouldn't make much a difference since I would be in profit anyway.
3876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I tried to tell him just HODL bitcoin, don't make this hard. on: April 03, 2021, 04:51:02 PM
This is the thing with many people. They don't do any research and analysis on the market trend and just trade blindly.
This often leads to losses and then they complaint that the market always goes against them.
Although we have a good amount of data in the history for performing various analysis, people still just want to invest blindly in hope of good returns.
3877  Economy / Gambling / Re: If you loose your funds don't loose the fun on: April 02, 2021, 02:17:59 PM
Was that supposed to be a poem ?  Tongue

Losing is an essential part of gambling. Most of the people who gamble often lose their money in gambling.
This is exactly why they say you should never put more than the amount you can afford to lose in gambling/investments.
But yeah what you mentioned is exactly true. Even if you lose, we should not lose the hope and continue to have fun while gambling.
Fun is what gambling is meant for.

I believe that having fun in these cases is curative, when some lose it can affect them, it is not bad, but there remains the satisfaction that at least they had fun, when people play they must be aware of when they can lose, so that they do not fall into depression if they spend more than they should.

And so when they play again, they have another type of thinking and what they can do based on that experience in which they lost, which is not pleasant at all. Sometimes I lose playing, but losing I learn many things and also have fun, not to mention when I win.

That's very true. Learning from our experiences is what makes us stronger in the long run.

BC.game 3.0 is indeed a major improvement! Nice design and some fun new features such as the daily and weekly tasks (which are achievable even for small players).
Thanks for the addition of third party slots! It would be nice also if we could also filter on slot provider.

Indeed !
BC.GAME 3.0 is a major improvement over the existing BC.GAME website. Almost everything has been improvised.
A clean UI with new features. Everything looks good but somewhere I feel that the site has become a little slow.
Since it has more things to load may be it has become a little slower or may be it's my internet that's behaving weirdly.

I have a question , if their is any user or admin who can reply

If i am playing MULTIPLY BTC and put the BET ODDS @ 4750 - and the result is 9998 - what will be the result?

as it is written that "To win, BET HI and get a number higher than 9998 or BET LO and get a number lower than 2"

Waiting for the ANSWER

Well that would be a very unfortunate scenario because as per the odds the number to win should be higher than 9998 or lower than 2.
The only number higher than 9998 is the number 9999. So you would basically lose the bet and get nothing in return.
