3882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the plural & capitalization of bitcoin? on: October 24, 2013, 08:08:51 PM
but in german you only say Euro and not Euros.

Yeah, I don't see "euros" that much. "50 euros" sounds just weird.

In spanish, though, we do use plural.
3883  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: ¿Qué exchange usais? on: October 24, 2013, 07:42:47 PM

3885  Economy / Economics / Re: Distribution of bitcoin wealth by owner on: October 24, 2013, 12:19:22 PM
Thanks, very good! Might it be possible to have the sums also, so that:
#bracket, #totalBtcInBracket

Code:
Bracket        Outputs       BTC/bracket          Total BTC
>=100000             1   111111.12658933    111111.12658933
10000-99999.99      96  2235807.30026651   2346918.42685584

<0.1           1477264     7906.10863763  11524196.75614826

Unless it is difficult, you could leave out unspent 50 BTC:s from this one.

D'oh I forgot. So above listing include all 50 BTC outputs, the following one doesn't Wink:

Code:
Bracket        Outputs       BTC/bracket          Total BTC

3887  Local / Trading y especulación / Re: Boletín de Análisis Técnico on: October 24, 2013, 09:30:55 AM
3888  Other / Off-topic / Re: GPG signatures using SHA-512 as default instead of SHA-1 on: October 24, 2013, 08:55:52 AM
Another gpg 1.4.10 on linux verifies ok here.
3889  Economy / Economics / Re: Distribution of bitcoin wealth by owner on: October 23, 2013, 09:14:29 PM
This may be somewhat useless for this, as active wealthy bitcoin holders split up their holdings into lots of smaller parts, so as not to reveal their learge wealth moving around whenever they want to buy something.

Yeah but I assume OP understands the difference between people and addresses. This is another reason I asked before cooking the data.
3890  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: October 23, 2013, 08:44:49 PM
Anyone notice the rally stopped in China? I realize it's early for them, but today they barely rose a few bucks.

China was at a $230-equivalent. Other exchanges just played catch up today.
3891  Economy / Economics / Re: Distribution of bitcoin wealth by owner on: October 23, 2013, 08:01:58 PM
I think it works just fine. Thanks a lot!

Code:
      1 >=100000 BTC
     96 10000-99999.99 BTC
   1420 1000-9999.99 BTC
   9896 100-999.99 BTC
  80257 10-99.99 BTC
 121541 1-9.99 BTC
 147693 0.1-0.99 BTC
1477264 <0.1 BTC

Edit: one has to consider that the 10-99.99 BTC is somewhat inflated due to the sheer amount of addresses with 50 BTC coming from 4 years of mining rewards.
3892  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wait for it to fall they said, it will go to $50 they said.. on: October 23, 2013, 07:31:37 PM
And now I have no coins.

So you sold because others said so? Then you deserve to have no coins. (I sold too, but was quick enough to react and re-bought Smiley).
3893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Using the raw transactions API to build a simple transaction on: October 23, 2013, 07:27:30 PM
Hey guys, I have a quick question.  When executing "hex = createrawtransaction [{txid:aaaaaaaa,vout=1}] {m2222=90,m3333=9}", what is the correct value of vout?  Is it always 1?

How do you build a rawtransaction from multiple inputs?

Transactions can (and usually do) have more than one output, and you need to specify the specific output you want to redeem in a given transaction. vout serves that purpose. It's 0-based.
3894  Economy / Economics / Re: Distribution of bitcoin wealth by owner on: October 23, 2013, 07:24:37 PM
Does anyone have the table for all addresses that have a balance, grouped similarly as here?

Someone posted in august a list of all addresses with balance. I saved a copy and can easily aggregate the balances in log buckets. Would that be ok for your purposes considering that it's 2.5 months old?

3896  Local / Primeros pasos y ayuda / Re: Cuantos Bitcoins teneis? on: October 23, 2013, 06:42:58 PM

3897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to send out multiple transactions on: October 23, 2013, 06:07:09 PM
I am using bitcoinqt and need to send multiple transactions via a change address.
My wallet is encrypted I was wondering how do I use the console to send out transactions all at once to multiple addresses.

If what you want is paying several addresses, you don't need to make several transactions nor use the console. Simply use the button "Add recipient" when sending funds.
3898  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: October 23, 2013, 02:03:25 PM
Gold collapsing.  Bitcoin UP.

Gold is not precisely collapsing today Tongue.

¡Buena suerte!
3900  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CryptoSeal VPN shuts down rather than risk NSA demands for crypto keys on: October 23, 2013, 06:58:56 AM
If you want to make it harder for the NSA to trace/hack/control Tor and have at least 50 spare Kb/s, then please set up your own relay. You don't have to be an exit node.
