3881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: September 27, 2018, 09:26:41 PM
Depends on my motivation / feelings.

~4 hours, sometimes just 1, depending as well on if i busted or profit.
The time is not fixed and I am not regular gambler, therefore I do not gamble every day. I just gamble once or twice a month because I enjoy the game and do not want to make any money from gambling. I know that gambling is not for making money. I just meet my friends and more people in casino and enjoy the gambling like a party. I never played online gambling.

And the reason behidn your quote on my post was?
3882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: September 27, 2018, 09:25:24 PM
You can win in gambling is you know when to stop. You need first to set your goals. How much profit are you looking into and do you have funds to start with. Once you reached your goal, walk away. You also need to set a stop loss, its your protection against sudden change of trend and price goes down again.
Right, if you can stop after losing, or if you can set up a limit before a game, you can win in gambling.

Fully agree with you.

That's the way to do it properly and not continue being greedy.

3884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the highest lost you have made as gambler? on: September 27, 2018, 09:22:52 PM
Worst ones are those who bet tons of BTC from their vaults and lose them just as they are grains of sand...
3885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: September 27, 2018, 09:21:14 PM
Sometimes i stop gambling just because of waiting on Price's change.

It's good to always keep yourself informed about the price and when u can take bigger risks from it.
3886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: September 27, 2018, 09:20:16 PM
I gamble most of the times from Home PC, im not a big fan of playing at some Portable device, doesn't feel ok / safe to me.

Either way is good to have such ways.
I can gamble at any device because I don't usually play a lot of time in a day, not a poker player or a dice player, what I love
is sports betting. The trick I learn in sports betting in order to win is betting based on quality not on quantity, it's what they called, looking for value.

And by that you mean? Strategy? Specific Bet types or?
3887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: September 27, 2018, 09:19:05 PM
A good gambler will make gambling a business even if it's just a side business. He will control himself not to spend big capital. He will seek even the smallest profit, after making a profit even though he is small he will go home and play at a later time. Even if he has to lose, surely he will not spend all his money, because he knows maybe this is not his lucky day, so it will not be useful to continue playing because he will only spend all his money.

Right, he/she also should be able to set up a limit before starting for both losing/winning money and spending time.

The best way for starting gambling properly is to set those limits exactly and to gamble the max you afford to lose.
3888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: September 27, 2018, 09:16:03 PM
Some online games are as well good as Casinos such as faucet games, if we are talking about crypto games.
3889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break from gambling on: September 27, 2018, 09:12:11 PM
yes you should take a break from gambling if you feel not to play consistently anymore or just temporarily.
3890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: September 27, 2018, 09:10:38 PM
Convincing them to gamble for fun rather than to convince them to make gambling as a source of income is much better.

But regardless of the reason of convincing the new gambler there's a tendency that he can still be addicted if he can't control him/herself. And if ever the situation come up to that point, you are no longer part of it as long as you warned him that addiction is going to be one outcome.
Yeah it is the right thing. I also want that people should gamble only for fun and entertainment and not for making money, because when a person wants to make money from gambling he would become gambling addicted and then it will be hard for him to quit gambling. Gradually his life will become worst and people will keep distance from such person, even his family does not respect such person.
You can't stop if a gambler wants to gamble for money.

But going to the possible outcomes like those is what make us think and worry about them. We know the gradual effect of gambling can be worse not only to the gamblers who are into for money but also to those that are gambling for fun.

Overall and in the end ii will be their decisions and you can't decide their destinys
3891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Really! Where is the fun at? on: September 27, 2018, 09:05:55 PM
Long term gambling does not always mean addiction. Addiction should not be depending on how long you have been involved but it depends on how are you deal with it. I've been involved in gambling more than 10 years, indeed I have to admit that I was addicted to it on my first year as I could not control myself. But after that I could manage/control myself, I know when to start and when to stop so I do not think it is an addiction as it was.

Off course doesn't mean as addiction Smiley

Such example as myself, i play more because i know i can profit even more and i have fun with it. But isn't an addiction because i have my own schedule / time when i want to leave Casino area and return during my week time.

If you saw the profit then it will be happy way to reach the fun but keep play for some months and then come and tell me you are getting same experience. I strongly believe gambling is not meant to make profits.
Here people take it wrong and invest on it by saying they are making money show that they are smiling.
All the gambler has to cry loud no other goes.

Im already playing for like 3 years? Wink
3892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: September 27, 2018, 07:25:47 PM
Yes, of course I will still gamble. No matter how strict government rules prohibit gambling, they gamblers will still survive. Maybe there will be government officials who will support this business, all will run easily with the power of money. Of course we all know the amount of money in the gambling game. I think drugs are more dangerous than gambling.

Gambling is illegal here in my place but the rules are not very strict and the number of people who still do gambling is relatively high. Moreover, crypto has made the gambling experience look more safer therefore I keep doing it even though with just small amount of money.

You mean you accept that everyone can just money laundering Cheesy

3895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: September 27, 2018, 07:12:24 PM
For me gambling does not increase crime but rather increase addiction to some people who does not know how to handle it properly. When it comes to crime, for me the number 1 aspect is drugs next is poverty. I don't consider gambling unless it was also associated with drugs.

So do you agree that it increases or not? Because on one side you say it doesn't then you say it does Huh
3896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits of gambling? Yes - it exists! on: September 27, 2018, 07:10:26 PM
In addition to making money, gambling can also train us to be able to control emotions well. We can also get new friends there who might be our relationship for business. But of course there is a bad impact from gambling, besides losing money we will also be trapped and addicted to continue gambling if we are not able to control emotions, even worse we will begin to owe to gamble. So we must be wiser to take the positive side of the gambling game.
If you gamble just for fun and not for making money then you will enjoy gambling and that is the only benefit of gambling that you visit a casino with your friends and family members. Benefit of having some enjoyment with your lovers and apart from this there is no other benefit of gambling. Gambling is a bad thing and the whole world admits that gambling is not good.
Right, we can not say "bad" if a person go to casino just for fun or getting social, but if we look the viewpoint of money, it could results badly like losing money or losing reputation afterwards.

Or you can simple call it bad if he has no experience whatsoever and still tries to beat the house.
