Yes exactly but that's truly annoying though. Basically the security page on their site is pure and simple advertising. Whatever they say there revealed itself untrue.
They have a long way before recovering from this story, if they ever will.

What do you guys think of Leicester for next year? Do you think they could keep up with last year results and, at least, try to make a difference again or are they destined to go back to the old days in which they were an average team? I hope they will kick some asses this coming season as well!

The blockchain hype is rising and everyone is try to leveraging this supposedly new tech. We are in the early stages of a new chapter in the nature of work. The blockchain will enable us to do our jobs and be compensated inside new circular economies that have their own currency units and their own work units. This, I believe, is one of the greatest themes to emerge from blockchain technology. Most work today is compensated via bilateral agreements between a worker and an employer according to a simple contract: you work in X job, and we will compensate you in Y currency. But what if we had greater autonomy over how we choose our own work? With more control, we would then be able to perform new types of tasks that may or may not resemble what is traditionally considered labor, and earn cryptocurrency instead of fiat currency. not to long ago, at bitfinex's Hong Kong office.... sure thing Ted! Security of user information and funds is our first priority. Every detail is analyzed to avoid security holes. We pride ourselves on being the most secure Bitcoin exchange. Good, from now on, we know that losing roughly around 120K bitcoins it's something to be proud of. Not even dignity is available anymore. That security page is quite disgusting. The only security will come from the complete closure of the exchange

Hey Jimbo, Don't you saw a small nice spike up? I'm currently seeing $ 585.80 on Coinbase
Looking good. It seems the bitfinex nightmare is withering away
Yes. The spike was starting as I was typing. When I started to type my post it was about $580 on Bitstamp and $586 on Bitcoinaverage. I had a flurry of phone calls and visitors and then I check back and they're both up $5. Yes I think the Finex panic is done. I'm waiting to see what happens when the banks open after the weekend. I'm guessing an influx of fiat at the exchanges and a spike upward. I agree. I think tomorrow we'll see another nice trend. We're set to go up. Even though Bitfinex story might not seem finished. Anyway, we're on the way up

Thank you very much, that was so much kind of you. I'm glad my initiative was something you thought it might be good!

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Still in the general range of $560-$580 I see, but threatening to break upward. Current Bitcoinaverage price is $586.
There's still a half day before the 48 hours are up in Adam's poll. It's looking like $580 is a slam dunk. Do we see $590? $600?

Congratulations OP thats a nice win. Any reason you are betting with ETH instead of bitcoins?
What site were you playing at, the screen shots didn't look familiar to me.
Also I just think Ethereum is a better long term bet. I'm currently holding 0 Bitcoins and about $100,000 of Eth. I'm going to put them into cold storage and speculate on the price... no gambling or trading. If Eth smart contracts become solid yes I could agree with you but today I think nothing really beats Bitcoin. But Bitcoin will have to face many challenges in the next months so keeping an eye on the alternatives is always good. If was you I would not go all in like that on ETH: I think oyu could better off differentiating your portfolio

I did post some bets I'd made yesterday on the Nigeria game, anyone was free to follow them.
I'm not going to make a proper tipster thread as I think a lot of people are going to see me betting big bucks and winning and try and follow me with zero bankroll management. Time that badly and no matter how much success I have over the long term, they're going to end up with nothing.
Yes I completely agree with you: there is a huge risk of people coming here and just following you blindly. So, from the moment you play so big, don't open a thread. Wise choice. btw, I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug. But since I've posted bets I've been making anyone can see what account(s) my bets come and go from. And those transaction id's can be pasted into Direct Bet and the associated transaction will show up.
It doesn't bother me personally but I don't think thats right. If I paid you 10 Ethers I owed you, I'd obviously now know your Ether address. If I suspect you've been gambling I can then try your transaction id's in Direct Bet and not only can I tell if you were gambling there, I can see what you gambled on and if you won or not.
I think you're referring to how directbet works: yes, AFAIK, it works like that. If you do that you can see people's bets. I mean, is the same of knowing a btc addy: you paste it into a blockexplorer and you follow the money. Is that what you are saying?

DirectBet.eu - they've been excellent so far, no complaints at all.
you played big and you won likewise. well done. do you have a thread in which you share your picks/methods/whatever?

Just to be clear, this would be voluntary? Didn't see any offers for payment. I guess it's a good way for someone to start a portfolio, but other than that, you might have trouble finding decent writers.
I quote and ask the same. If you will consider paying I might give it a shot.

Nice one They found satoshi maybe, or Satoshi works for them. Newly back from a leave of absence, Overstock CEO Patrick Bryne is already promising big blockchain news ahead. Addressing a group of investors during a Q2 earnings call today, Byrne spoke about Overstock subsidiary Medici, the division of the online retailer developing the post-trade blockchain project tŘ. read more here http://www.coindesk.com/overstock-ceo-historic-blockchain-announcement/

Most of us are receiving negative feedbacks from self proclaimed saints.
Is there any way to defend from these false accusations? I posted a negative feedback to his account, although it doesn't hurt him that much - it is just a jr account, opened a month ago and used deliberately to fight with the competition. There's nothing we can do. I am not even going to reply to his feedback. There's no point at all.

I hope I've selected 5 good projects. We cane never be 100% sure of what we fund but in the end it's always good to start doing something. I don't think all charities that accept bitcoin are scam. Can you provide me some examples? My plan was to fund Sean's Outpost from the beginning, after doing some research I landed here http://bitcoinforcharity.com/bitcoin-charity-list/
