3881  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signature campaign earnings and monthly income. on: February 15, 2022, 03:56:51 PM
Speaking about quiting your job for signature campaign, it all matters the part of the world one is coming from.
In countries where their currency is worth lesser, campaign tippings can make the person resign from work.
It's not so about can you live with the money you make from the signature campaign, as there are (unfortunately) many countries where average monthly salary is only few hundreds of dollars, but why should you quit your job in order to live only from signature campaign?

All campaigns have weekly quota, so if even if you spend 10 hours per day writing posts, you are are still limited with the quota. So why not keep doing your job and in your spare time you can write couple of posts each day. Or you are telling me that writing 20-30 posts per week require so much work that you can't do anything else?

Some persons are saying that signature campaign jobs are not permanent. If I may ask, are there permanent jobs anywhere in the world? If a government worker has a
Yes there are. Come to Croatia, join one of the two ruling parties, be active there and you will get a comfy job that you will work until you retire. Cheesy

It also depends on the campaign, a ChipMixer campaign promoter can decide to resign work, still will live comfortably and accomplish some projects.
It's true, amount of money that you can make in some campaigns exceeds average salary of many countries but still, one have to be a fool to rely on that as a permanent income as nothing lasts forever and older you get, harder it gets to get hired for a regular job.
3882  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Citizen Finance [CIFI] - Scammed Bounty Hunters on: February 15, 2022, 09:48:40 AM
This is just uncalled for, and such act should never be condoned in the Crypto space. All these cheating just have to come to an end.
This thing will come to an end when you (and by that I mean bounty hunters in general) will stop joining bounty campaigns that are not escrowed by your bounty manager. Since we all know that it won't happen and that you will continue to do the same thing you will end up getting scammed, like in this case. No one else can ave you from yourself.

Considering the ICO price of token was $2.8 (and I guess bounty pool of 5000 CIFI was based on that price) and now it's ~$36, I am not surprised at all that they decided to stop with bounty distribution. It's not a valid excuse not to pay bounty hunters of course, but its probably one of the reasons. And yet another lesson to be more careful when joining bounty campaigns as more often than not you will end up with nothing.

People hard work in promoting cifi project is not a joke. Cifi team is a great scammer.
It sucks that you got scammed, but that narrative about "hard working bounty hunters" is a bullshit, especially coming from a someone that is tagged for shitposting. Bounty hunting is probably the lowest possible form of crypto work, with the lo amount of effort needed, hence the reason why so many can do while having dozens of alt accounts.

3883  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance invests $200 million to buy stake in Forbes on: February 15, 2022, 09:05:46 AM
That comment I quoted lends credence to what I read online last year or so that CZ is actually Satoshi Nakamoto.
Haha really, some people actually claim that? Chances that CZ is Satoshi is even lower than of the Faketoshi being behind all this. I mean, you have to be completely clueless about Bitcoin and CZ to claim something like that.

I can only imagine what Bitcoin would look like is someone as CZ is behind it all. As a matter f fact, we don't even have to imagine, it's enough to see how centralized BSC is, and then to compare that with Bitcoin.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I'm fine with this. So much hateful opposition propaganda against Bitcoin/crypto on typical "news" sites that at the very least this should bring a little bit of balance. Fighting fire with fire.
I see this something like a "useful idiot situation". He is surely doing this to improve Binance's position but by doing that it might help crypto market too. But I still don't like how powerful Binance is becoming because the more powerful they are, the bigger influence they have and I am not so sure that its a good thing for crypto.
3884  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (SCAM) influencio.io running a big scam empire on: February 14, 2022, 04:36:56 PM
One of their influencers is named Pa Konate and here is the image link

the image says this person has 11,000 followers where as the actual followers is just 26, check it out here https://mobile.twitter.com/Pakonate also the person in the image is black right? But they drop their Instagram account which leads to a white man's account https:/[Suspicious link removed]/eTcLQUMo4E
Seems like hat guy Pa Konate exists. According to his Instagram account, he plays for Bulgarian club Botev Plovid and has 11,000 followers on his Instagram account https://www.instagram.com/pakonate/?hl=en . Question is whether he is part of Influencio or they just used his name.

Here is Simon Weider
and here is the Simon Weider you get if you click on the Weider twitter account they dropped
https://mobile.twitter.com/simonweider
Same thing for Simon Weider, on his Instagram account he has 13,000 followers.

There are tons of proof on twitter that this project is a big scam and I'm surprised that many are wearing it's signature, I'm guessing they intentionally use dead accounts on twitter but the proof is all available, I'm sorry I don't know how to make pictures show up on here, maybe I've not reach that level yet?
Now, either their team is completely incompetent and they don't know how to properly tag people/giving wrong twitter accounts or those people are not really Influencio ambassadors but one thing is certain: these people actually exist.

I'm sorry I don't know how to make pictures show up on here, maybe I've not reach that level yet?
Yep, you need to be at least Jr Member rank in order for your images to show up.

Generally, this looks like yet another useless shitcoin project that has no real need to use blockchain, other than lure naive investors to buy the worthless shitcoins. On top of that, each and every of their tweets has been mindlessly shilled which is another red fag. At the best case scenario this is money grab, and at the worst another scam. Either way, everyone that invest in this crap will most likely loose money.
3885  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What do you think about the platform FYBIT.com ? on: February 14, 2022, 03:04:29 PM
The fact that the platform is unknown to a few people here means nothing, how do you know how many people are currently trading there? You judge by yourself. Just because you don't know doesn't mean no one knows about it.
The reason I am suspicious about Fybit is not just because only couple of newbies here ever heard of it, but because you are defending platform that you (allegedly) just started to use. Coupled with dodgy stuff like newbie account waking up after several years break just to write that he us using this exchange. If I learned anything here its that stuff like that is usually not a coincidence.

Do not judge by yourself, you like Binance, for example, trade there. And it’s already funny to read your comments that if at least someone knows about the platform, this means a figurehead.
I do use Binance occasionally but I would never recommend it to someone after using it for a few days or weeks. Hell, even after using Binance for 4 years, I still don't trust them much, especially not with bigger amounts.

And not all that are listed in cmc is good or trusted but exchanges or the coins listed there can sometimes come and go. This is exchange can be new and we can give them some time to grow but for now, we have better exchanges to use than this one.
It's true, not all exchanges listed on CMC/Coingecko are good or trusted, far from it. I would even say that majority of exchanges listed there shouldn't be trusted but you know which exchanges I trust even less than those that are listed there? Those that are not even listed, meaning they are most likely hiding something.
3886  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Apple's fake metaverse ico website. on: February 14, 2022, 02:55:29 PM
The very scam fake Apple ICO appeared on my Facebook feed as well, couple of days ago. Even though its very easy to see that is fake (at least for us that are into crypto for longer period of time and we've seen all kind of scams), I can imagine newbies falling for this easily.

Combination of greed and ignorance is what these scammers count on when they create such obvious scams like this one.
3887  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Better than accumulating altcoins? on: February 14, 2022, 11:29:22 AM
As @TheBeardedBaby said, it's never too late to start. Don't fall into classic trap thinking that since BTC ain't so cheap anymore as it was few years ago that you should instead focus on altcoins. As a newbie, that's recipe for ending up rekted. like many other that did that mistake.

$5 per day makes it ~$150 per month which is not a negligible amount at all and can certainly  make a difference in 4-5 years so yeah, DCA is way to go when it comes to BTC.
3888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 OSCARS - Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: February 13, 2022, 10:29:32 PM
So tell me did you watch all the movies nominated for this year Oscar rewards, and what do you think is the best movie in your opinion?
Nah, haven't seen all movies yet. I am kinda behind the schedule at the moment, still have to watch few. Tomorrow's plan is to watch either Coda or Belfast.

Just don't tell me it's Dune pleeease  Tongue
Nah it's not Dune, (even though I quite enjoyed that one, especially first part of the movie) so far it's The Power of the Dog but I am not so sure that you will like that one, unless you are a fan of slow burn movies. Worst one so far has been Nightmare Alley, big disappointment as I generally like Guillermo del Toro movies.

I don't know exact date for picking Oscar winners, but maybe I can watch one or two movies you are recommending from this list (excluding Dune).
Haven't really figure out what kind of movies you like so its kinda hard to give any recommendation.

Maybe they should make some nice movie about Bitcoin and Satoshi next time, I would watch that...
Tbh, I don't think us who are into crypto for a longer time would be satisfied if they make something like this. Thing is, they would probably dumb it down in order to attract average viewers, and make stuff up to be more exciting, disregarding the facts as that's what they always do. I mean, we will certainly get movies that will cover that topic, but I doubt that we gonna get anything good.

and I hear Netflix recently ordered new series about Bitfinex hack and money laundering scheme:
https://about.netflix.com/en/news/netflix-orders-doc-series-about-alleged-cryptocurrency-laundering-scheme
Thanks, I'll keep an eye on that one.
3889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't have a bright future anymore on: February 13, 2022, 09:50:07 AM
All the gains with btc were made already if we are looking for 4 years from now is only 2-3x .
Good one. Four years from now we will have another halvening meaning less BTC will be created while demand will go up. You can figure out for yourself what will that do to the price. I made a same mistake as you back in 2013/2014 when I thought that I am too late for BTC and we can see where are we now.

eth competitors will faid away when eth 2.0 is arrived. i don't see why anyone would build in solona . recently they just got hacked.
Thing is, I am not so sure that we will see ETH 2.0 any time soon.

I like bnb though i think it has good future its the easiest to develop on regular coins and it's safe.
You can see in the image below everything that you have to know about BNB safety.

Good coins are Eth, Terra luna,Bnb
Good luck with that once we hit bear market. Obviously you haven't learned anything from 2018.
3890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 OSCARS - Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: February 13, 2022, 09:21:57 AM
My only annoyance on Denis Villeneuve’s version is the incompleteness in introduction of the Dune universe, the politics, the guilds and the history. We might see this in the next movies, however.
Its simply impossible to cover everything in two 2 and a half hours movies. As I said before, proper approach would be high-budget mini series but considering everything, I think that Villeneueve did a good job, certaiiny better than Lynch (I like his version too by the way).

Paul is trained, however, he was not a soldier. In the book, it was also revealed to him that he was meant to be a mentat. Paul was also only 15 years old when they went to live in planet Arrakis.
Exactly this. I don't understand complaints about Chalamet coming from people that (probably) think MacLachlan was a better choice. People often keep forgetting that Paul is only 15 years old and to me Chalamet looks closer to that age, even though he is only 1 year younger than Kyle was when he made Dune. On top of that, Chalamet is generally much better actor now than MacLachlan ever was.

It has gotten so bad that whenever I hear that a movie is acclaimed by the critics instead of this being a sign of a good movie it is a sign of which movie I should avoid, which is why despite increasing the number of movies I have been watching lately I have not watched a single one of those that are nominated to win the best picture award.
Well, if you avoid movies just because they are nominated in Best Picture award, you are doing the same mistake as those who think that nomination=good movie. It's true that Oscars had questionable winners/nominations over the years but that doesn't mean that there are no good movies among nominated ones.
3891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto space is a land of possibilities on: February 12, 2022, 11:17:50 AM
3. Know when to take profits, there are many that have make Insane amount of money from altcoins but refuse to take profits and later they lost it all, I have my own loss stories as well, be smart.
You are addressing to the newbies, yet you give them advice saying "know when to take profits" which is much easier said than done and newbies by default fail at that part. That's why it's much better for newbies to stick to something that they can hold for longer period of time without being afraid that will be worthless, meaning Bitcoin.

Being a newbie and buying a memecoin is nothing but a gamble and for that you don't even need crypto.

3892  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for real estate for investment (Does this service exist?) on: February 11, 2022, 08:39:31 PM
I've seen a topic like yours several times already, also interest in investing in real estate.
I will suggest you https://realt.co I haven't used it personally, but I know some users who are happy with how things are going here. There are also some offers here with 10% income.
You can check it but the decision is yours.
One of my friends invested serious amount of money there and from what I know, he is very satisfied with them. I know it's not exactly what OP is looking for and ROI is often below 10%, but its close enough IMHO and these guys seem legit.

I would always choose safety and few percent lower ROI over something dodgy with ROI that looks too good to be true, as we know how those thingss end up.
3893  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Gate.io requires KYC? on: February 11, 2022, 02:09:47 PM
Anyone with experience with gate.io
I am personally not using it as I don't care for alts,  but couple of my IRL friends are using Gate.io (since they have bunch if altcoins listed there that can't be found on Coinbase /Binance/FTX) for quite some time and so far they had no issue whatsoever. And yeah, they also had to go through KYC in order to withdraw the funds, so its pretty much standard practice when it comes to Gate.io.

Then again, sending your data/or your crypto  to a centrlaized exchange is always a risk.

I am not a user of the site but according to Trustpilot, check the rating:

https://www.trustpilot.com/review/gate.io
TrustPilot is an awful place to check if something is legit or not. Bunch of paid reviews there so you can't believe absolutely anything you read, whether its good or bad.
3894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 OSCARS - Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: February 11, 2022, 11:51:50 AM

it's gotta win Original Score... it's about time Hans Zimmer wins another oscar, . Nicholas Britell, the guy who made the well-received music for Moonlight a few years ago, is also nominated, and while i haven't watched Don't Look Up, im sure he made a really good work there but, surely, surely this is the year of Hans Zimmer, right? DUNE music kicks ass
Yep, I think its time for Hans to finally win another Oscar, after 27 years and Lion King. Regarding Dune, I expect 3-5 Oscars, but not the most important one I'm afraid. I would like to be proved wrong though, but wouldn't mind The Power of the Dog winning a Best Picture Oscar either, as I liked that one too.

Oscar ratings in 2021 were the lowest in its history. They will likely make adjustments to address that the way the NFL has.
2020 was generally a bad year when it comes to movie quality so that probably helped Ocscars having such a shitty rating, on top of all that woke agenda that they have.

@Hydrogen. On Dune if you are not a fan of the books, it will be hard to be a fan of the movie. Dune is not similar to Starwars where it was created like a tv soap opera with lasers, spaceships and as a marketing tool for commerical merchandising. Dune was a very good movie and it deserves the nomination for best picture, I reckon.
Dunno, I know plenty of people that never read Dune books yet they liked the movie a lot. Its good that Denis Villeneuve insisted in two movies as one is simply not enough to cover the first book, but I still think that best approach would have been to make high-production series/mini-series out of it to properly cover everything.

By the way, I saw Nightmare Alley last night and it was a big disappointment, Bradly Cooper was a total miscast for that role. I have no idea how that movie ended up with Best Picture nomination.
3895  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Discussion] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆 on: February 11, 2022, 10:46:40 AM
I was checking the mentions and this is how I see. A troll is asking me to respond his nonsenses so he can continue with more nonsense.

Rikafip and many others from the search result of last few days. Let's not feed the troll. Every time you will mention him he will poke you.

Yeah you are right, that's exactly what he wants, attention, and he is using this community award thing to try stirring some shit but as we can see, he is not very successful as noone cares much about his drivel.

For some reason I didn't have that fool on my ignore list yet but that is sorted now.
3896  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Discussion] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆 on: February 11, 2022, 09:33:13 AM
Since I see that @Bitcoin SV is fan of memes, gonna try to sum up last couple of pages using something that he may understand (I doubt it, but its worth a shot).

3897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 OSCARS - Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: February 10, 2022, 02:01:10 PM
I was thinking you are going to skip this year Oscar rewards so I just wanted to ask you today about that, and I even bookmarked Oscars Guide page on IMDB website as a reminder Smiley
I was just waiting for the academy to announce nominations, didn't want to make a thread before that. Wink

From all the movies I only sort of watched Dune and I don't think this movie will win Oscar reward, but lots of people like it so it will probably win some reward if not main one.
Since Dune is a science fiction movie, and those never won a best picture Oscar, chances are not the best. I like Dune and for me it was one of the best movies I saw last year but I wouldn't put my money on it. At least not a lot. It will win couple of Oscars for sure though, mainly in visual and sound categories. Just look at this Sardaukar scene, simply brilliant.

The Power of the Dog looks like interesting western movie and it has lowest betting odds so I might check it out,
Those who are expecting standard western movie will be disappointed. Setting looks like in a classic western movie, but this story could have been set just about anywhere. First and foremost its a slow pace drama, and something like that is not everyone's cup of tea.

Is any betting website accepting Bitcoin for betting on Oscars?
Sportsbet does, but they also have only few main categories available, at least for now.

edit: @rhomelmabini beat me to it
3898  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Re: Kutak za kulturni trenutak on: February 10, 2022, 09:30:40 AM
Tko je glavni glumac? Jel neka mrga?
3899  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Re: Kutak za kulturni trenutak on: February 10, 2022, 09:22:27 AM
Raised by Wolves mi nikada nije sjeo.
Ja sam to odlucio preskociti.

The Unforgivable

Boiling Point
Stresna vecer u popularnom Londonskom restoranu.

The Power of the Dog
