I just saw it drop 3% in two seconds, 10 seconds after I I stood up and checked the prices.

(No it wasn't me if you get any ideas  Roll Eyes )

Alex Jones is a CointelPro working for STRATFOR, a private Zionist intelligence agency located in Austin, Texas.

They may has well have hired a clown to act like he is a libertarian to troll us all.

He teaches us that the best way to handle those in power is by screaming nonsense into a blowhorn.

Here he is disrupting a pro second amendment gathering:

Yeah I know my way around when it comes to Conspiracy Theories. This particular ones is B.S.
I'd call it the Conspiracy Theorist Circle Competition. They accuse each other of working for the The Man to syphon off followers and make the ranks more agreeable. Actually it's just their own paranoia working against them.

I'd say there is only one conspiracy theory which makes sense to me: Ad-hoc collective schizophrenia caused by hierarchical structures. This usually results in media manipulation but other things can be explained by it too.
3883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Even Alex Jones makes fun of us on: April 14, 2013, 03:55:11 AM
The man's an idiot.  His followers are about as smart as a crooked nail in a wooden fence.  He occasionally has some good points, but they're always bogged down with baseless conspiracy theories and "Oh, did you hear that?  They're talking about me!  They're talking about me!"

If Bitcoin's a cult, silver's a cult, and those using the dollar are one big unhappy cult.

Yeah he's totally whack, but to be honest I see the cargo cult mentality here on par with the whole nwo ct crowd when it comes to delusion.

But he does give you guys a handy scapegoat: Alex Jones thinks the central banks started the selloff.
I suggest you buy as much as you can to show them.  Wink

Seriously this is dumb.

ya it was dumb... Adams said that the people who created bitcoin are "Bitcoin Billionaires FOR SURE", when the market cap of bitcoin is 1.2 Billion Dollars.....
clearly these guys shorted bitcoin, and are willing to say wtv FUD they can come up with to shake confidence. also they push gold and silver as a way out of "the dollar collapse, that will happen FOR SURE" so maybe their producers don't want to promote bitcoin anymore...

meh, to actually short BTC you have to be enough into it to realize the options like bitfinex and co, which aren't really that obvious to find for somebody who isn't really very much into bitcoin.
So I rather think they're just disappointed or annoyed by people buggering them about it and see how it turns out.
3885  Economy / Speculation / Re: Even Alex Jones makes fun of us on: April 14, 2013, 03:39:40 AM
And everyone makes fun of Alex Jones.

So we have something in common.  Grin

3887  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Crash Then and Now - 2011 v 2013 how big are the differences? on: April 14, 2013, 02:48:44 AM
The price is doing a pretty damn good job of going down by itself, it certainly doesn't need my help.  Wink

Bitcoin: The only currency which can be brought down by forum posts.   Grin
One of my friends on another site only knows about Bitcoin because of Something Awful's old attempts to manipulate the price by posting hyperbolically on this forum. I wasn't around then, but said friend seemed to recall it being somewhat successful.

Hopefully we've put those days behind us!

That was hilarious, and it was a scapegoating which SA played very well.
btw: 4chan has started to make fun of us too.

Your warning is welcome, but keep in mind traders who have sold out, and are now talking the price down can play in the wall observer thread.

Come back in 3 months when the idiots are gone.
3890  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crash will bottom at $30, you heard it HERE first. on: April 14, 2013, 02:03:02 AM
The bottom was at $50, which fits the pattern perfectly

1st crash- Crash from $1 ATH down to $.50
2nd crash- Crash from 31.90 ATH down to $5 (within margin of error, temporary situation of $.01 doesn't count as it's a hack result)
3rd crash- crash from $266 ATH down to $50

4th crash will be from X down to $500, predicting it here first

you omitted the 0th crash, before bitcoin was worth anything significant. There is a very short spike at a certain date in 2010. This has been influencing the market ever since.
The hack result does count because at the time bitcoins were actually worthless because the only infrastructure was compromised.
after 31.90 the price made a dead cat bounce to 1.99

The first bubble was only the pretext for the current bubble and it did not exceed exponential growth which this one did.  This is the purest bubble possible and it will collapse almost completely symmetric.
3891  Economy / Speculation / Re: To who whined about early adopters that bought cheap coins: now coins are cheap on: April 14, 2013, 01:34:49 AM
Sit back and watch.

Doesn't matter. The point is that this is money that is interested in bitcoin. $10 is not sustainable. Zero or much higher is sustainable.

Watch now, and then wait. It will get kind of quiet here in a few months.
3892  Economy / Speculation / Re: To who whined about early adopters that bought cheap coins: now coins are cheap on: April 14, 2013, 01:14:49 AM
Surly they will go "all in" in the true Buttcoiner fashion, liquidate everything buy BTC and live from a diet of rice and beans for the next decade.  Cheesy

Yes, indeed, the way I am doing. So now, get a life of your own, please.

Please do I'll be laughing all the harder if you actually were somebody reasonably wealthy and blown it all up on a delusional dream.  Cheesy

What you don't seem to understand, is that we rich make more money than we need even without much working for it, so this in essence gives us freedom to do what we want, with the money we already have. Good night.

I understand perfectly.
What you don't seem to understand is that you are not the ones in control here Wink

USD showing their hand on mt gox orderbook would buy 1.4 million bitcoins at $10 each.

Sit back and watch.

Loaded has 200k and only a few posts, he has done that and nobody questions it. Do as you like, but if you want to be taken seriously as a big fish you need to provide cryptographically verifiable proof.

Winklevoss don't have a forum account, and I don't have a hotwallet LOL. The new wave has arrived Smiley

Do you represent them or not?
Again I ask you to provide proof of your wealth, since you are the one highballing in the forum and even posing with a suit.
(Are you sure you don't sell insurances or something Cheesy)

That is an old suit, which I bought in 2008 in Dubai. Btw. the Burj-al-Arab was nice. Just for the lulz, I don't know if you appreciate my gesture but I have this address. I will PM you 10 minutes before I use it.

Probably you will die in waiting.. I have no intention to use it ever, as I am here to buy more coins, not to spend them, as I have all I need and my income is sufficient to cover all my possible future needs.

Sign a message. Something like "I am rpietila from bitcointalk my wallet address is 12345ASDF"

It's not that hard, easier to wait for some random address to get activity. Wink

Not that long ago I asked you for the instructions.

You've got to be kidding.  You can do that in bitcoin-qt and do not even have to be online with it.

Wouldn't be the first time the one "new rich" wasting their fortune.
That's still not 210M and not even somebody with a lucky lawsuit can't be that reckless with their money. Added to that it seems they got in just at the wrong time, so they might dump.
3900  Economy / Speculation / Re: To who whined about early adopters that bought cheap coins: now coins are cheap on: April 13, 2013, 11:56:03 PM
At $10/btc a group with $210 million could buy all bitcoins ever. This price is not sustainable with current levels of awareness.

Provide proof of a $210 million group interested in BTC.
