3881  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Machine Learning for cypto trading on: October 11, 2017, 05:07:15 PM
That is so 80's. We use AI stretch blended profiles to watch for trends. There are currently six of those living in the network at the office and they are expected to act as employees and be available during an 8 hour period per day. Beyond that, they have full internet access to learn and look around.

They are server tied, leaving the business network means that once per hour, a single hashed line of code that is needed for the program to work cannot be accessed and the program will hard halt.
3882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin.org to denounce "Segwit2x" attack on: October 11, 2017, 04:34:57 PM
Old news, that was already in the basket. There was only about a twenty minute windows to jump through for a full blind side attack on the markets and hitting those fear based cruisers on their way out the door. Our overall office attack created a full 43 trades against them, too small of a base investment though, only 3 BTC and then we walked out at 10.4 BTC after the dust settled. We are EST and it was out and in at an odd time, but we did ok.

3883  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I paid and I did not receive it and now? on: October 11, 2017, 04:02:14 PM
I made a purchase, I paid in bitcoin and the person did not give me the product.
Do you have any means to recover what was paid, since you do not want to deliver the product?

You really didn't pay and were not stolen from, these are the wrong terms. You simply gave away your money, that is what has occurred. It happens all the time and will keep happening. You handed a total stranger a valued commodity and trusted them to return with a product.

The question is how long you wait on the street corner for the homeless guy to come back with your promised product. Move on, it is over and there is not a thing you can do.
3884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin growth again, what to do? on: October 10, 2017, 04:47:47 PM
Same thing as always, use it to make money. We use Bitcoin as a base for trading other coins, but it is never a bad place to keep some funds. Short term gets crazy with Bitcoins, but six months will always be a positive return and the same for a year or more.

It is never something to doubt until the real issues happen way down the line, and that is something that we will see coming.

3885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 10, 2017, 04:29:07 PM
Not really, but some. There is always risk, even though Bitcoin will very likely return a profit. There is always the possibility that something could happen, especially in the short term time range. If it is money that you cannot lose, then don't do it. If it is a good long term investment, go for it.

Playing around and trading, then go for it there too. Just do not ever put the grocery money, kids college fund or anything like that in any investment.
3886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How much do people fear key loggers? on: October 10, 2017, 04:13:25 PM
Im gonna buy a ledger but i still want to.spread the risk among some other wallets. Problem is most now apart frrom core uses a 12 word passphrase. Problem is John Mcafee says millions of phones and computers have keyloggers so they can take photo.and send your passphrase quite easily.

Is this a serious risk?

How to use a wallet that solves this?

Not a bit. Every keylogger is the direct result of a user doing something stupid. It is the one viral attack exploit that is always user installed or downloaded. I think it is just too simple for the hackers to deploy any other way, and it is used as a catch the bottom feeders last resort after the real hacking.
3887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Control the price of a cryptocurrency on: October 10, 2017, 03:57:51 PM
I was wondering, if and how I can back the value of a cryptocurrency by a material like gold, silver, bronce ect.
Is it even possible to prevent the value of a coin to be influenced by offer/demand or other general factors.
The max supply will be always the same in theory.

Thanks for help

There is no easy way to do it. Private tokens and side chains can provide the most control, but that is still only as strong as the people that trade the tokens. There have been attempts to back a token or coin with capital and/or assets, but there is no true link between the two and the clients have to trust the holders of the capital to leave it in place.

You have to develop and very controlled trading system to control price and it is still open to manipulation.

3888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: www.usd-x.com on: October 10, 2017, 03:37:24 PM
Hi there,
Has anyone signed up to https://www.usd-x.com/ and become level 2 or 3?
If you have i would like to chat with you please.

J

Seems pretty scammy. Test with small amounts that you can throw away. It says the right things, but that is a template site, possibly there is an affiliate system from another company behind it all.

I would rather see that, at least that way the process is backed by some equity, you would think.
3889  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How would I create a bitcoin blockchain bootstrap file(s) ? on: October 07, 2017, 08:54:21 PM
I am using bitcoin core , windows 64-bit with windows 7.
How would I create a bootstrap file so I can import the blockchain on another machine so I don't have to spend days downloading the blockchain?
Thanks!

Better to just export and import, maybe even use a light weight wallet at the new PC, there is rarely a reason for anyone to use the entire chain on their computer. Those are either people that want to do some real coding, or those that want to feel important and special. No need for any of that these days.

3893  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: October 05, 2017, 05:41:06 PM
It never too late to buy bitcoins and come in the world of bitcoin . Of-course  its a power and world biggest currency. First of all nobody can control it neither government. Second most of bitcoin user invest on it especially in trading they make good revenue from it receiving and sending funds with low price. Third bitcoins is secure fast and prove high security so we don't need to worry about our bitcoins.

Keeping the above things in mind, the bitcoin price and value will go further up and this is why I believe that its never too late in bitcoins.
3894  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to earn monthly income with Bitcoin/Altcoin trading?? on: October 05, 2017, 04:27:34 PM
How to earn monthly income with Bitcoin/Altcoin trading with small capital like 0.1 BTC??? Is it possible to earn good income with 0.1BTC??

Create your own trading system that works and never change it. Base this on fundamentals, not on things that will change from week to week. Things like, negative politics creates 10-15% panic sales. Wars cause 20% drops due to panic and 35% increases after 60 days of continued fighting because of commercial supply and demand. Guns and butter, keep it simple, economics is not something that changes.
3895  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Smart Contract in Bitcoin on: October 05, 2017, 04:11:37 PM
The smart contracting options are already in all the coins, it not a feature thing really. It is a matter that no one bothers to use half of what these coins can do. They sue what they need and then ignore the rest, but it still there and always had been.

There are ways to do wild things with BTC and you will eventually see many of them.
3896  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmain order tracking problem. Help plase? on: October 05, 2017, 03:57:01 PM
Hello;

My order shipped few days ago from Bitmain to Russia with Xiang gao courier. But i can not find any website related this courier company to check my tracking number even i tried on 17track.com

How can i find my order status?

Thanks for your support

Unless the company that you bought from provides info, then you just have to wait and see what happens, that is not bad shipping times for and you should not panic yet. Really, don't bother panicking either way because there is nothing you can do anyway and no recourse, so you are at there mercy.
3897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 05, 2017, 03:12:25 PM
I'm not going to waste my bitcoins. I will wait until the price is still growing.

Exactly by saving we can fulfill our dreams. My plan is to buying a big house and a car. I am trying go collection some bitcoins via gambling signature campaign, completing task etc. I like to hold so i hold them until the price goes double.

If you want to spend bitcoin, I would suggest to hold on till year end and we might be crossing 5000$.
3898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: October 05, 2017, 02:06:37 PM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
there must have been a very strong reason why the HATED bitcoin, maybe he lost a lot of money or something like that. i recently mentioned bitcoin to two workmates and they genuinely seemed interested. i think it depends on how you explain it that makes people either hate it or are interested in it.
I am pretty sure they're not aware about the bitcoins. They don't have much information about Bitcoin. We have to explain them on what is bitcoin, how it works, What's the benefits, and earning method and all things and informations relate to bitcoins.

It take a lot of time to understand them. But after getting real information about bitcoins, they'll surely start loving bitcoin.  I cant find a person who know about bitcoin and still dislike it.
3899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stealing Bitcoins from online wallets with 2FA on: October 05, 2017, 10:15:43 AM
Hackers are made to break security,Locks,Passwords. You're not safe if you're mobile network or online wallet user. For hackers its easy to exploited both. That's why i recommend downloaded wallets.
Even though 2fa is a very good security but still i have heard people bypass 2fa and hack into people account. Hackers always find a way to crack even the most secure online systems.
3900  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: October 05, 2017, 10:09:08 AM
We see sometimes bitcoin price increase or decrease. How I can predict whether bitcoin price increase or decrease.Again, who controll this price.I appreciate if you kindly share your experience.

Bitcoin is worldwide nobody can predict the decrease and increase of bitcoin neither can control it. Its all about the situation. You should keep eye on news which can effect on crypto currencies price. For example China banned the ICO which effect hard on crypto currencies price.

Bitcoin prices mostly go up or down on rumors and if you can seek bitcoins news early, you can make a good decision of buy or sell.
