3881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: December 05, 2017, 11:53:07 AM
Because transaction is cheap. And bitcoin can help people. All for now is high tech.

I think if people are asking you about bitcoin, you're explanation will not be that clear, not only clear but will also be easily misunderstood by the people. For me, bitcoin's transaction is not that cheap, it is now expensive. I don't know how bitcoin can help people but all I know is that bitcoin gives good profit to the one owning it.
3882  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is an asset or currency. on: December 04, 2017, 01:00:12 PM
I think it both - and asset, and currency. As asset is to old, but it was first and still working.
As currency it has more stability than most national currencies.

I wonder why did you call bitcoin as a stable currency? I mean one of the most popular feature of bitcoin is it's volatility which is the antonym or opposite of the word "stable".

For me, bitcoin is an asset. You buy bitcoin not because you really like to use it or you want something to be bought that can be only accepted bitcoin, you buy bitcoin because the price pumps in time, so the longer the time you are holding it, the higher the profit you are getting. So, from that, you can say it is more on being an asset than a currency.
3883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 04, 2017, 11:54:21 AM
I can't be sure Bitcoin can be replaced by another coin but in my opinion it will happen. Wink

If it happens in the future, then Bitcoin can blame itself. If Bitcoin is without any major flaws, then few users would prefer using another coin. Alts such as BCH are on the rise, because Bitcoin transactions have become too expensive now. It is like Bitcoin killing itself.

Well, it's greatness will also it's way to it's death. This transaction fees are also the thing a lot of people complain in the past and I think when time comes, not only the price will be pumping, also the users. When there are a lot of users, a lot of transactions will be starting to congest the network and may cause another problem.

Also, I do not understand bitcoin being replaced by another crpyto currency because even bitcoin is dead, it will always be bitcoin.
3884  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: December 04, 2017, 11:29:59 AM
I sold some at 10,900 hoping it will fall again to rebuy in the 9000's as I purchased some around 10,300... Do you guys think another temporary slump will happen soon? Or cut my losses and rebuy now at over 11k?

It is pretty high these days and it is staying right now at $11,000. It is high so the only possible movement of the price is down but I doubt it will be reaching way back to $9,000, maybe at $10,000 but not gonna touch back again $9,000.

For me it is better to wait for some good movements before deciding to buy again. This is the last month of the year and most of the good prices and ATHs happened in the last month of the year. Better be patient mate.
3885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: December 04, 2017, 11:07:40 AM
I keep my bitcoin by holding it for a long time until its value gets high. If ever there are some emergency cases, I will sell it and replace a new bitcoin when it gets lower

I think the OP is not talking about how you will be using them but how are you saving them.

I am keeping my bitcoins into a bitcoin wallet named Electrum, but I think if you will be noticing my address is not the same as the addresses in Electrum, that is because I am currently using Coins.ph to convert some of my bitcoin to pay or buy to my needs in an everyday situation. If I have some bitcoin left, I will be sending it to my Electrum wallet where I usually save all of my bitcoins.
3886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2017, 10:43:51 AM
In my opinion, the disadvantages of Bitcoin would be:

• The unstable value of it, may go pump more than we know, or go lower than we could ever imagine.

But I think there are also some positive results that is happening because of it's volatility. You can see that when the price dumped when it first breached the wall of $11,000 dumped back to $8,000 and then pumped back all the way back to $11,000.

• Security issues, hacker would try and attempt stealing Bitcoins espcially if it's value continues to pump up.

I think this is not a disadvantage of Bitcoin but this is all on the user because at the end of the day, they are still the one taking care of it's bitcoin and bitcoin wallet, thus they are the one responsible for that wallet to be hacked, users must really take care of their wallets.

• Fiat money, it's unlike paper money to you get to see and touch everyday lol

The reason it is digital, and it is decentralized so I think that is not also a disadvantage.

• It's used for some illegal transactions happening around the web or internet

There are some threads here that discussed that and in the end they found out that bitcoin is not that really anonymous and only a little percentage of people use bitcoin in illegal transactions.
3887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: December 04, 2017, 09:43:26 AM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

The end of bitcoin for me would be a majority of the powerful countries decided that bitcoin is a threat and would choose to close its borders to it. Once it hapoens a lot of panic would ensue and then slowly but surely it would collapse bitcoin

In these case, a lot of people will surely be furious about this decision. There is no really big reason or a big proof about this because apparently, a lot of people are supporting this currency, the government will never make a decision like that hastily, there will be a lot of process.

I think with bitcoin now at hand, the problem that can end or kill bitcoin is with a problem with the software. In the recent weeks, bitcoin was said that it has a bug, what if some people plots to end bitcoin by putting some malwares in the network, exploiting ones private key and it's balance. That will be really the worst time to happen.

3889  Economy / Economics / Re: Easiest way to make BTC? on: December 04, 2017, 01:37:55 AM
I would say that the easiest way is to participate in bounty compaigns, then change tokens into BTC

The easiest way to earn bitcoin is by having a capital, if you really want to have or make your own BTC, better buy it online. Well there are other things you can do to have your BTC easier without buying, there are hacking and scamming people though you may get in jail because of it.
3890  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: December 03, 2017, 12:19:09 PM
Yes bitcoin reduces unemployment and reduces poverty. The bitcoin industry is still growing and many people are now focusing on bitcoin as a regular source of income. This is a nice news for bitcoin, because the growing use of this currency will push the bitcoin value to a higher price. The increasing demand results to an increase in the price.
I agree with your opinion. to get their bitcoin to do something, like following a signature campaign. which means they have worked even though they are not regular jobs.

Then I think that will be counted as a job since you are working right? And I think we are not following Signature Campaigns, we are supporting them, and I think we are not just posting here in the forum, we are advertising them. So yeah, there comes our job, a ICO, Services, Site, or Gambling site advertiser.
3891  Economy / Speculation / Re: $11k - when do you sell on: December 03, 2017, 11:43:04 AM
Selling now is very profitable especially for the old holders which bought their bitcoins at $2k or $3k rates. They are earning a huge profit. Personally as I dont have huge amount of BTC I prefer saving until the price increase a bit more.

I think there are some people who sold their bitcoins, still there are more people who decided to hold their bitcoins, rather than selling them. Why? Think of this, bitcoin dumped from the new ATH of $11,000 to $8000, that is almost $3000 dump, but just after some days, bitcoin pumped back to $11,000 and obviously people will think that it can pump more, so they are holding.

Bitcoin price may dump and pump, but as long as I don't need money, I will not be selling my bitcoin.
3892  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: December 03, 2017, 10:36:21 AM
Because bitcoin possessed by a blockchain system which made it decentralized and volatile. Its true, you can do faster, more reliable and  transaction using bitcoin and much safer due to anonymity. Also the fee deduction is fair and equal regardless which country you came from.

I think this "fee deduction" being fair and equal depends on the exchanger you are using or the wallet you are using. There are a lot of people who are complaining about the bitcoin fee or the miner's fee being expensive or big so I think if you are not complaining about it, We can say that you are transacting bitcoin good enough.

I am saying this because there are a lot of transactions being unconfirmed because of the fee they are paying, and the thing here is the fee is more bigger than the bitcoin they are transacting.
3893  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: December 02, 2017, 01:14:39 PM
if you have $200 you can trading and make some profit, after you get some profit, my advice is build a mining rig and making start to mining, why my advice is make a mining rig? because mining have a small risk, the biggest risk in mining is a long ROI, i think its not a big problem right? and in mining i think its always get a profit

Though mining these days is not the same in the past where you can easily get a profit after a day. These days, you need a longer time before having a profit, even before getting back what you have invested in that rig.

I guess the best here is investing, yes, but not in mining rigs, there are a lot of ways to invest our money that will give us good profits, investing has a risk. Well all of ways to earn money has one so I don't think it matters. If you really are decided to do it, accept failures, face risks and do what you must do.
3894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesian Government Banned Bitcoin on: December 02, 2017, 12:25:14 PM
Another country is doubting bitcoin to it's future. Bitcoin may be volatile and  decentralize but I think it may do good in the future when people are starting to use it in their normal or common transactions.

I don't think developers and other supporters will let bitcoin be the same when that happens, they will be having a lot of developments for sure that will help. They are just judging the bitcoin now, not what it will be in the future.
3895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Easily Discouraged with Dips? on: December 01, 2017, 12:42:39 PM
Dips are one way to increase your wealth but Dips is also bad for beginners because they are being scared or Discourage when they see how Bitcoin price falls. One of the reason why beginners doesnt want to try Bitcoin but like what i am saying to my friends who are scared to try Bitcoin taking risk will make you rich someday.

For me, dip is like a chance. When bitcoin price started to pump continuously, people tend to be disappointed to their selves bot buying bitcoin while the price is still low. And then when dips come, a lot of people tend to buy bitcoin because they are thinking that obviously after a dump, pump comes, as they say, there are no other way but up.

We can't blame some new people but I think after some time they will be riding the price easily just like me.
3896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: November 30, 2017, 08:45:37 PM
One of the probable reason is that bitcoin is highly volatile. People usually buy when the price shoots up hoping it might continue the trend. Then end up losing when the price comes down.

I think volatility is not that a bad feature, I think it is one of the good features of bitcoin making it a good asset for some of the people. A lot of people also was decided to bought bitcoin when they knew that the price is having a good pump. I think the most reason why people are against it is because they said that bitcoin may be a coin related to the deep web or for crimes because of it's anonymity.

This is the most answer I get when I ask some people about this, and sometimes it makes me smile how blind these people is thinking that works like that. I just answer them that it not really anonymous as they think leaving them silent and thinking. I don't know how many of them consider using bitcoin but at least I told something that they don't know.
3897  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: November 30, 2017, 12:43:52 PM

I think bitcoin is the strongest crypto currency at the moment. because of its inflated exchange rates and many demands. it makes the longer the price will soar higher again.

It is, in fact bitcoin is still alive even after a lot of years after it was invented. Bitcoin lasted almost 9 years and it is still not giving any signs being dead and it is still pumping and making feat. If bitcoin is not strong, I think it is dead a long time now ever since the MtGox happens but it did not, it rises slowly and now making a history in the crypto currency book.

I think it will become a global currency, every country will be using it and starts the cash less society with use of cryptos lead by bitcoin.
3898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum on: November 30, 2017, 09:57:06 AM
I want to buy some coins. Now the Btc price is around 10000$.best thing is buy btc or ethereum now

If you are looking forward to have a profit, better have bitcoin but the price is so expensive and the price of ETH is a little far from bitcoin.

I think it is better to invest it in another ICO's token or altcoin, you might get a ETH or bitcoin depending on how you will trade the token you will get but that also ensures you a good profit than buying those 2 digital currencies.
