3881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 14, 2019, 10:13:11 AM
What they need is an consistent outside shooter, joe's game is more of an inside offense, and we already have Blake in that position which he can do well, and we have Drummond to score in the paint and take care of the rebounds.

In the line up next season, https://www.lineups.com/nba/lineups/detroit-pistons, I don't see a real good shooter here.
But I like the new addition of players, like Derrick Rose and Thon Maker, the rest if there's new, I just don't know them.

Who doesn't want a consistent outside shooter on their team? Detroit Pistons are done now on roster lineup to the point that they signed a late deal to a veteran instead of another. Maybe the deal wasn't a plan.

No need to put high expectations from him as he is not the same as before but as a veteran and we all know that Detroit Pistons doesn't have any progress for several seasons now, I see this veteran as a good addition. He is even way more good compared to their other bench players.
I'm not saying he is a bad addition, I believe he could help but they could have improve their outside shooting so they will improve this coming season.
Detroit Piston with Blake Griffin is an improve team, but they are not consistent, they have a great start but they faded in the long run.

They were in the playoffs last season because they go lucky to be in the last spot, but Griffin was injured so their chance is gone, I can't even remember if they won at least 1 game in the series against Bucks. That being said, I'm expecting their starters to step up and not only reply on Griffin, https://ph.global.nba.com/players/#!/reggie_jackson stats has to improve, he needs to average at least 20 PPG so he will be able to provide spark in the team, and also, he needs to stay healthy as the team needs a good PG.

His current salary now is $18,086,956 (https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jacksre01.html), he is payed well, so its expected  he will provide.
3882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 14, 2019, 09:29:39 AM
When the tournament started, no one really expected Argentina to even reach the quarter-finals. They were placed in a tough group along with Russia and Nigeria and during the second round, they had to face Poland and Venezuela. Even if the had their chances during these stages, no one would have believed them to defeat Serbia during the quarterfinals.

The defeat of Serbia by Argentina was perhaps the most important upset in this tournament, ranking even higher than the match between the United States and France. This may be the only time when all the top 3 sides (United States, Serbia and Greece) failed to qualify for the semifinals. Greece was unable to quality even for the QF, despite the presence of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
It was really unexpected. My dad was not able to watch this year's FIBA World Cup very much so I take the liberty to tell him what's happening especially at this point about who will be battling in the finals. And when I told him that Argentina beat Serbia, he was really shocked. He just thought that Serbia will go through the finals. But some things really don't happen as expected.

Also, I think it doesn't matter that much if there is a star player in a team or there is a famous one in a team. Because at the end of the day, there's no "i" in "team" and their teamwork is what will pay off.

Exactly, Argentina won because they don't rely on stars, if you watch them playing, you will see they are really confident and they are even having fun playing with the France while the France struggled to score.

Scola did great in every game, and I think after this, its guaranteed that he will  be back in the NBA, and maybe some players within the squad will have a chance to be evaluated also. Facundo CAMPAZZO is a great PG, when he is handling the ball, you know he can make big plays, I just want him to be in the NBA as well although his height is only  5'10".
3883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling just for fun? on: September 14, 2019, 08:43:04 AM
Gambling should always be pronounced fully, Gambling games.   If its always labelled gambling games then we understand that the game will not always be won, add in that house takes % from every game then the odds either side in a game winning drops some.      Its obvious it has to be for fun, I get worried when people gamble and its not for fun.
People used to gamble in the lunch hour breaks at my work place and almost every time they were nearly getting into fights because nobody wants to lose and it stopped being fun for them, losing only the money or anger at the loss.   I skipped those bets for the sake of my job Shocked

Gambling for fun is just what the responsible gamblers are doing, when it affected you when you lose, you are not gambling for fun, but you are gambling for money. In order for you to gamble for fun, you should not risk a decent amount of money, it should be a small amount of money that you are willing and ready to lose, that definition if you follow that, you should be having fun in gambling, even if you lose.
3884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 13, 2019, 11:32:44 AM
His last seasons in the NBA are not so impressive, but this guy averages 20 points per game during his days with the Atlanta hawks.
Let's see what he can bring to the table in his new team, I think he will fit with the Pistons as this is a defensive team.
He is not going to have the same average for sure but even a half of that coming of the bench will be good for Pistons. They clearly lack shooters last season and Joe can help in that department.

3885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: September 13, 2019, 11:13:40 AM
All cryptocurrency assets have all chances to increase your fund in a lot of times, the main rule is to wait! If you are to nervous, you don’t have to play that game.
We don't feel nervous if we educate ourselves before we decide to invest here, in the first place, we already know that crypto is very risky, hence there is no assurance if we will be profitable here. If we are smart enough, we also have to trust the coin we are holding and we also understand that big dumps and pumps are happening in the market, it hasn't change yet, so we should not panic when we see some dump.

BTC did dump at $3K but now back to $10K, that's why crypto moves, it's very unpredictable but those coins with great potential will always bounce back and these coins has a big chance of success.
3886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many exchanges? on: September 13, 2019, 06:19:04 AM
Now exchangers and exchanges in general have begun to appear on the market much more, will they compete with others? this is another question, but as for me it’s difficult, everyone has long taken their place, but got on WhiteBit the exchange what do you think, are there any chances?
I heard this exchange, looks like a lot of people are shilling this exchange in the forum, it was just recently launch but it already have a good volume, but I haven't use this exchange yet, I still with the old exchange but reliable.

Too many exchanges is good for the market because it's expected that the adoption will increase, with that, exchanges are in demand.
3887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: September 13, 2019, 05:47:08 AM
Never become desperate to win. This habit will enhance your losing amount. Gamblers often become desperate to win and deposit more & more amount.
That's an example of a gambler losing control, we always want to win therefore it's hard for us to accept when we loss, that is why we lose control and deposit to try to win back our loses.

I've tried that many times and the result is really bad.

And another one is, don't ever bet the amount which you can't afford to lose. Be defensive and gamble with little amount will save your money also IMO.

Defensive... such a good word to use in gambling, we usually are aggressive whether we win or loss but most especially when we loss because like I said, it's hard to accept our loses and we want to get back our loses. I think it's just a matter of discipline that is necessary for every gambler, accepting that not all the time we can win is good enough for a start.
3888  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict Bit coin price. on: September 12, 2019, 05:15:45 AM
It seems like you have no knowledge about trading yet, maybe you will have to start knowing what is bitcoin and its volatility.
You will have to start from the basic so you will learn more and then you will start it in practice.

No one would tell you the right away to predict as even old traders are still having a hard time predicting the market.
I hope you will not fall on those people who promise they will give a premium call for you to follow, the best way is to self educate yourself.
3889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 12, 2019, 04:51:20 AM
I felt bad that I pulled out of the USA vs. France match. That could have been some good money.

Down to four teams ^^ that had a chance to take championship trophy on this year's FIBA world cup but for me i have picked/bet for Argentina to win it all for obvious reason and they have disposed Serbia convincingly.
Not a bad choice.

I'm thinking of Argentina also. I find it strange that they're last because I can see them beating France.
They just defeated a well prepared Serbian team.

It has changed because they beat the USA, the attention of the people now are in France, so they are the team to beat now.
Argentina is good as well, both teams are really good team but it's up to us now on what odds we will choose, if we want a bigger odds, we would surely choose the Argentina to win, but my personal view on this, I think France will win and they will take the championship against AUS or ESP.
3890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: China Urges Philippines to Ban All Online Gambling! on: September 10, 2019, 12:11:46 PM
Maybe China is just testing the Philippines here as they have already built a solid relationship but it sounded that its over specially with the West Philippine sea issue.
Its not a test to the relationship of China and the Philippines. It simply is illegal for a Chinese citizen to gamble or even set up a gambling business overseas, same with setting up a business to attract Chinese citizens as their main clients to play or gamble. Sad part is that workers of POGO are claiming that they we're forced to go to Philippines to work on in POGO and pay rate is very small.

I don't think the Philippines has violated any law of China, this local news would not lie for sure.

No Pogo company in PH are operated by Chinese — Pagcor exec

Maybe Chinese gambling operators are using people to handle their business that's why the business is full of chinese employees, but technically, I never see any violation here.

3891  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dbet.io -anonymous bitcoin sportbook, No account needed, No deposit is necessary on: September 10, 2019, 11:36:56 AM
I think I'm gonna like this one, this offers a complete anonymous way of experience, just like directbet in the past.
I'm currently exploring the site now, I like the UI, it's very simple and fast to access but it seems like the odds is not so competitive IMO.

Everytime I bet on sports, I like to bet on games where the point spread of equal changes starts at 1.90 and up, I'm currently enjoying it with my sportsbook, hope you can look into this as well, would love to hear your comments on my request.

As a sb that provides instant, automated pay-outs, dbet offers reasonable odds. I believe that players who know more about it will understand the importance of Bitcoin control in their hands.

In my opinion, in the betting process, the focus on the odds of 1.9 or above is one-sided, which does not necessarily lead to higher winnings. The key factor in winning a bet is the winning/loss percentage, which is the result of effectively analyzing various data information. A pro player that can make winnings for a long time can find the relationship between winning/loss percentage and odds, thus gaining an advantage in value.

Thank you for your explanation, that was a detailed one, with that, I made a comparison on the upcoming game in FIBA world cup.

The game is between the USA and France at over/under 163.5

You odds offered ,
Nitrogensports       1.857/1.923 - https://nitrogensports.eu/sport/basketball/fiba-world-cup
Sportsbet.io          1.91/1.90 - https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/basketball/international/fiba-world-cup/usa-france-5d7597123f5c7d2032ff111b

Looking at the 3, your odds for over 163.5 is not so competitive, among the 3, sportsbet has the better odds, that's why I will choose sportsbet in this particular event.

Thanks mate, been looking for the live streaming, Argentina is leading the game, it's a good time to live bet the Serbians because for sure they will they will make a rally and make this a close game. It still early so they still have time to do it, I like them to to win this this match.

Looks like its a high scoring game. 14-9 currently, Argentina with the lead.

Edit: 2 links are both working, but I prefer the English one.
3893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you know about Bitcoin before becoming a bitcoiner? on: September 10, 2019, 04:10:19 AM
You guys are lucky to know bitcoin early, me, I know bitcoin in 2016 because I discovered it's easy to gamble using bitcoin compared to depositing money in fiat gambling sites which is not instant and it's so costly. I was just so interested more with bitcoin when I know I have a chance to earn online through signature campaign, after that, I participated in ICO while I still continue gambling and in the past, ICO are really profitable but made a major profit in 2017.

Now, despite of the bad market condition I experience where most of my investments are dropping, I am still here because like in the past, I still believe that bitcoin will be able to rise in value and will again give me some good rewards.
3894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: September 09, 2019, 11:33:35 PM
It is correct that it is the reason why crypto players skip casinos that has KYC implemented in it. If they are in a country where it is not legalized gambling then they can't play in that site. If the site is compromised then their personal data might be compromised or get stolen.
There's an easy way for the sites to block people who like to gamble using the IP block.

In fiat sportsbook, my IP is block when I tried to access the site, but with crypto sportsbook, I am very much welcome and I have played in more than 5 sportsbook in the space without facing any problem, and they don't have KYC also that's why I like it. So when a site requires KYC, they look like a fiat gambling site which for me won't attract gamblers in the space.
3895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 09, 2019, 11:20:13 PM
Medvedev is surely one of the young talent to watch for in the future as he took it right up to Nadal unlike what we have seen in the past when the young talent face one of the top 3 in Grand Slam finals as they normally lose in straight sets without much of a challenge. Nadal will most likely catch Federer and may over take him next year if he is able to stay fit but then I think it will be Djokovic to over take both of them in years to come if he is able to stay at peak fitness. I think we only have another few more years with these top 3 playing and then its up to the young talent coming through which is looking good right now. Congrats to Nadal on winning his 19th Grand Slam title.
It's one of the good Finals I watched in Tennis, my bet is Medvedev and I never loss my trust in him although he was down 2 sets at the start, I like the courage of Medvedev because he was able to come back and even tied the game, but the experience of Nadal gives him that edge in the last set.

Congratulations to him, he was so humble during his interview and I like how he appreciates the effort of Medvedev and I believe it will inspire Medvedev  to be better since this guy is still 23 years and more better future to come for him. His length and his height is going to be an advantage if he will mature over time.
3896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Beaxy - The All-in-One Cryptocurrency Exchange on: September 09, 2019, 12:36:19 PM
I really hope for the successful development of BEAXY platform. True, they delayed payments for bounty hunters very much, despite the fact that BEAXY exchange has long been working productively. Unfortunately, in recent years, participation in bounty campaigns does not generate income, but only makes you wait and endure.
That is no problem if the bounty hunter can have good liquidity at this exchange. I think the trading volume at Beaxy is very stable and there will be no problem with BXY in the near future. I personally recommend a few friends to buy this coin for long-term investment because BXY has a lot of promotions for their customers so if possible I would consider buying some BXY to hold.
Holding BXY will help you earn a lot of PLS and this is how this exchange has attracted a lot of customers during the past time. I think if Beaxy average trading volume can reach $10 million, it is really a good thing for all investors but to do that, Beaxy needs to improve a lot. I believe that one day Beaxy will soon become more popular and 2020 will be a great time for this exchange to do so.
We will see, beaxy so far have showed that they can attract traders too, they have a decent volume already but it's understandable that the volume is not par yet with big exchanges like Binance but as long as they continue to make an effective marketing plan, eventually they'll be able to capture a good percentage in the total market.

Beaxy coin is still cheap while the volume of the exchange is not stable yet, but if the volume will improve, we can always expect that the value of the token will follow.

Can we exchange crypto currencies in Sportsbet? Like switching from Ethereum to Bitcoin? I cannot find it on the website but maybe I am wrong. Because some gambling sites like Crypto-Games have their own exchange too. Thanks.  Grin
I think they don't have that feature yet, I am constantly using the site but I have not seen any announcement about this one.
It would be cool if they will add this kind of feature but for me, I'm already satisfied that they also accept altcoins and the best thing they offer if the fast and free withdrawal of your coins.

The issue is just the POGO and its all settled POGO stays just as always during the previous admins.

I don't understand why this news has created buzz when it's obvious that the government will never stop regulating this operation and the China has no control on the Philippines to stop this.

Philippines needs to improve their economy and they can only do that with the increase of tax collection, and this one is an opportunity so there's no sense they will let this stop just to facilitate the request of China. Philippines to be the gambling capital of the world seems to be possible in in the future because the government is very supportive and this is what gambling operators are looking for.
3900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation on: September 08, 2019, 12:33:10 PM
I'd like to ask the community, is your expectation close to the reality that we've experiencing right now?

No, it's not close enough but then I realize, I was just also getting hype with a great news in the first half of the year, and the price that we are witnessing now is something to enjoy actually because it's a great improvement compared to the rice of BTC at the start of the year.

Good things will come to those who waits, that's the famous sayings and that's what I follow when investing here in crypto.
The market is moving well, I won't complain about that as I will stay here even 20 years more and I'm sure at that time, there will be a lot of new ATH that will be created.
