3881  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: October 14, 2017, 11:43:24 AM
I will choose trade rather than investment. Because trading is more profitable than investment. Indeed every trade there must be ups and downs that make me more excited in trading
There are a lot of chance in trading bitcoin to gain profit because the bitcoin prices is move so wild. But the risk is high enough,  all traders are created equal in the ayes of the market, every good traders are ever loss and make wrong decision but the great traders are who can make good strategy and always stick into it. So don't be  afraid when you loss in trading.
Trading is by no means the clear winner here and it is also not as profitable as you think. What I mean about that is all of them are profitable but it caters to different people who have different risk tolerances. Unfortunately Trading is a risky way to earn money as you are basing your buying and selling decisions on Technical Analysis, which you only look at the price charts but not the performance of the company which in investing is what you are analyzing. As you can see it is much safer to invest rather than to trade.
3882  Economy / Economics / Re: In event of your death on: October 14, 2017, 07:54:44 AM
In any case, if that happen I think I should make a note written telling that I'm giving all my btc to  my family. All of my accounts with my passwords will be there so they'll just do is log in and withdraw all of it. But I'm sure it's too early to happen because I'm not an outgoing person so fatal accidents are impossible to happen to me.
Well that note should be protected by a will, that only the event of your death that is only the time they will know the passwords to your Bitcoin wallet. Also you should know that there are no guarantees that it will fall into the right people because the possibility of the one who will inherit your Bitcoin does not have any idea on what Bitcoin is, to avoid that happening you must train them first hand on what Bitcoin is to give them some first hand experience on using or at least cashing out their Bitcoin.
3883  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: October 14, 2017, 04:03:27 AM
I will keep because many people say that this year's bitcoin price will reach $ 10,000 and in 2018 $ 25,000. I will be patient waiting for the best price, I'm not interested in selling bitcoin though if I sell then I get a big profit.
It is actually not good to believe in other people's expectation even if they are many. You still need to do your own research as confirming it on your own is more reliable than having members posting in the forum saying that. And mostly all of them post their assumptions without even backing it up with a technical analysis which is really hard to believe as they are basing it mostly with their guts.
3884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: October 14, 2017, 03:13:51 AM
That's right OP and I'm one of them unemployed who are relying on btc for the meantime. And I can't be more than happy enough that I am actually getting by. But of course I will not rely on btc to finance my daily needs forever. I still want to have a job so that I can save my btc instead of spending it. I want to keep my coins for future purposes and to finance my occasional leisures such as travelling. And once I have a regular job I'm planning on investing more in btc because I know and experienced its potential is unimaginably great.
That is one of the better paths out their having a job and another source of income to give you more than a breathing space. Because having a salary paying all your daily expense and a side income to be save for later activities will make you financially stable. But if you really want to be financially free I wouldn't recommend you spending your Bitcoin earnings on leisure activities rather spend it on investment like stocks or even build your own little business so you can expand your earnings.
3885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: October 13, 2017, 05:17:56 PM
It's a great endeavor if you can afford to do it, I personally only see news about bitcoin on TV and only limited to seeing it on youtube because of the old show being broadcast on TV. I'm sure if bitcoin is advertised on TV, then people who see it will be curious and wondering about bitcoin, and most likely they will be interested in bitcoin because it's already on TV commercials.
Why do you thibk advertising Bitcoin as a product is a good idea? It will only confuse people thinking that it is some kind of payment processor that belong to another company, which by the way almost all of it fail because the majority didn"t accept it. Also what exactly are you expecting to see on a 10-30 second ad (maybe shorter) about Bitcoin? Because Bitcoin has diverse topics that won't fit in that kind of time.
3886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: October 13, 2017, 03:35:13 PM
NBA legend Michael Jordan has warned the “superteam” era will create a league with 28 “garbage” clubs that will struggle.

He said this:

“I think it’s going to hurt the overall aspect of the league from a competitive standpoint.
You’re going to have one or two teams that are going to be great and another 28 teams that are going to be garbage,
or they are going to have a tough time surviving in the business environment.”

If the priority of the draft choice for the worst teams and the salary cup had to balance the strength of each team in recent years it seems that the gap is increasing. Perhaps it is no coincidence that so many records that seemed unbeatable in recent years have been made easily.

I will point the blame to players itself and the team management itself.

Superteam is a team consist of players who are still in "PEAK" without any strong competitors outside. Where does this started? When Kevin Durant joined Golden State Warriors. Warriors doesn't need KD and when KD joined the squad, Warriors is currently the dominant team in the league. For those who wil say that superteam era nowadays began when Lebron joined Miami, you are wrong guys. Back in that season, there are lots of teams who are dominant like Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs and my favorite, Dallas Mavericks. Miami Heat didn't even grab the NBA champ title back then.

If we will take the concern today, I don't consider recent trades as superteams. Why? Because players involved are not in prime anymore. OKC is a super team for example? for me NO. Houston Rockets, still no. Cavaliers, again no.
I agree people who have joined with this super teams like Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, and maybe Oklahoma City Thunder are players who are desperate to have a championship on their names. And I can't blame them because one thing that is missing from this great players are rings and that is what will make things complete for them. But look what will happen even some playoffs teams have lost their hope on winning a championship.
3887  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: October 12, 2017, 04:23:41 PM
How?
You can only predict prices in 2 ways. Forecasting and Technical Analysis. Forecasting is basically analyzing news reports about Bitcoin and thinking on how it will impact the price of Bitcoin. Technical Analysis also known as Price Chart Analysis is where you based your trades on how the market reacts to Bitcoin. In my recommendation you need to Technical Analysis more rather than Forecasting.

Who?
We control the price of Bitcoin. But mostly the Big players who have large positions of Bitcoin are the ones who can influence the price of Bitcoin the most as what they have can greatly affect the market.
3888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you expect a crash soon ? Or you see bitcoin keep climbing ? on: October 11, 2017, 02:39:21 AM
Honestly I don't see a crash happening soon with Bitcoin just recently passing the 4000$ level and staying up at 4700$ it won't be normal if it did not stay in that price for too long, what I mean about that is if started going down now we will see that Bitcoin is just being played for profit meaning it is just now being manipulated by big holders in order for them to sell it at a higher price. Making a selling pressure this soon will only deflate the confidence of buyers when the price of Bitcoin falls again shortly.
3889  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: October 11, 2017, 01:33:30 AM
If U.S.D. falls people will try to convert their assets into it. The U.S. Dollar falling is one of our chances to ride it at a cheaper price, like what Warren Buffet has said be greedy when other people are in fear. Buying $ at a lower price can be a big investment because the United States have move on this phase many times. So if many people tried to sell all their shares the price of Bitcoin will fall afterwards because of a selling pressure.
3890  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: October 11, 2017, 01:24:16 AM
Well the fact that it is a decentralized currency where no government has control with it. Making Bitcoin be controlled by big holders of it, influencing its price in many ways. The volatility is caused by people trying to profit from it and it is cause by the big players who will start to sell at the top first and will start the chain for the other sellers the same can be said on players trying to push the price upwards.
3891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay rent with bitcoin? aka btc to bank account. Is there a service? on: October 10, 2017, 07:59:38 PM
I don't know why not pay him in Fiat currency instead? Also if you are really required to deposit the monthly rent for him there are certain wallet apps where they have an option in converting your Bitcoin to Fiat currency via Bank Deposit which in my Local Wallet have that is available for several major banks we have. I like your enthusiasm of paying Bitcoin directly but I don't think there is such service, and even if there is you will be incurring additional cost of what they will do for you. So my recommendation if you have a local Bitcoin Wallet with a bank deposit option then go for it.
3892  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: October 10, 2017, 07:40:37 PM
Bitcoin is for sure the strongest currency in the world right now just look at the price. Look at the price then look at the fundamentals of the technology behind this revolutionary currency.
How can a fully speculative virtual asset, that is not even regulated be claimed to be the strongest currency? For me, strong currency is first of all, being USED. Right now, everyone seem to be afraid to pay with bitcoins, as they may raise in value in the future, so everybody is on holding mode. Bitcoin's price is too speculative and flactuates too much. It's not stable, therefore it's risky.

Price is not the main factor the will determine if a currency is strong or not, for example Bitcoin ma be the most expensive currency out there but it still is the most volatile one in the market. A strong currency no matter what the economy looks like still is priced the same even though the economy is bad. This signifies that the currency is not affected as to compared to the price movement of Bitcoin.
3893  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term OIL on: October 10, 2017, 07:26:16 PM
Solar panels are becoming way more efficient, its very good in remote areas.   In USA I saw an article on production in Nevada which as you know is desert like with alot of sunlight.  So many people started producing energy they were competing with the state owned energy company and so the government has clamped down on this wanton capitalism and is taxing it heavily to try and stop any further usage of sunlight for power.   No warning on the taxes, many have thousands in costs and are unable to recover that against taxable profit as a business would be able to
With no experience Bitcoin will soon be part of his gaming rig which is expensive until now. Buying pc parts for an updated guys is a bad way to lose your cpu cooler. And yes you are right Bitcoin can exist virtually and Bitcoin is not one of the brands where money is important. All obviously solar panels are one of the best renewable energy our there that is working for me and can work for others also.
3894  Economy / Economics / Re: Would using Bitcoin currently increase or decrease its value? on: October 10, 2017, 06:12:39 PM
Neither. Simply using Bitcoin as a mode of payment won't affect its price. What affects its price is of course the demand and supply of it. The demand of Bitcoin comes from us when we determine what is the fair market value of Bitcoin, it is also affected by other factors which cause a stronger buyer side or a stronger seller side. Think about it this way if Fiat currency is being used daily in your country why does it not increase in price over time? Because the demand and supply still remains the same.
3895  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: October 10, 2017, 05:55:20 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

I am not pursuing to be so rich. I just want to have a convenient life with my family. I mean , life that money is not a problem when we want to travel, buy things we need and want. As of now, I earned not much because I am just new here. But it is a good money though. A good extra income for me. I haven't lose anything yet since I haven't sell my Bitcoins and other alts at loss.

everyone i think is dreaming to become rich. the road will never be easy,in that way we should learn to strive and put so much effort on it. in bitcoin it is very possible, we invest time and effort to it. i believe the exchange rate of bitcoin will get bigger and bigger as the time passes by even inflation do exist. its a blessing because bitcoin would possibly be the answer to become rich and acquire luxuries that you ever dreamt.
Yeah for sure it is very important to become rich and to have the things that are necessary to have so for the sake of your happy life so hold your bitcoin and wait till you will become able to enjoy the high profit with the time. The price of the bitcoin is now high enough to give you the bright future. The money is for all the people you should try the bitcoin trading, investing and the signature campaign.
Everyone thinks that it is enough on expecting on something that you want but in order not to get disappointed you must raised your level of goals you want in order to work more harder, now if you failed you will still get the things you expected at first but if you achieve you will be happy that you have raised your goals. It is like what my Professor said if you are aiming for a 1.0 you must study like you are aiming a 2.0 or higher.
3896  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Using Bitcoin and altcoins when under 18 on: October 10, 2017, 05:39:06 PM
Basing it from experience I don't recall any exchanges that ask for identification cards in order to have a functional trading account I have used yobit, poloniex, and bittrex in the past and all of them had worked for me and they never asked my personal info only my email. So in short even if you are still a minor you can trade altcoins in those sites, but before startinv to trade you must learn how to study charts first in order to lessen the risk involve.
3897  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: October 10, 2017, 05:19:47 PM
The revolution of digimoney is already started it is growing day by day so max of cashless society it possible very near in future.
Do not confuse cash elimination with paper money elimination. Living in a society without paper money doesn't mean living without cash. Digital money is cash, Bitcoin is cash.

Living in a cashless society, on the other hand, means something else. It means living in a society without any of these possibilities.
It is nice to be different but not this much. Here cashless clearly means a society where there is no concept of paper money at all. Cashless society is the one where only plastic money or digital currencies will be used. Well I agree with you in this regard that we cannot survive without paper money at all. Paper money has been there for centuries. Digital currencies will be used together with paper money in the coming years.
Cashless society would only be possible on a certain place but not totally on global thinking off that we do have lots of different currencies on each country which means deciding to go on digitize thing would really be hard and also if government would decide to create their own coin or e-currency then its their choice and im sure cryptocurrencies wont really be consider on this one.
It is possible on having a cashless society without eliminating fiat currency at all. But the main set back here is how will all of the people adapt in such society? Especially the older generation who are less technologically inclined. It won't happen overnight but it can be a gradual process like what cash cards has done now.
3898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: October 10, 2017, 04:00:53 PM
I am more exploring bitcoin on social media facebook and twitter, by distributing to the public. I promote every signature project that I follow through facebook and twitter, many are asking what my job is and why I always share things related to overseas projects, and the answer is to look for bitcoin.
What is the sense of promoting something to social media if all of your audience are clueless to what you are advertising? I know all of you want here to promote Bitcoin and other types of cryptocurrency in social media but do you honestly think it will be an effective way? If more than half of your friends in facebook does not know what Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is? I don't think so promoting it without an explanation will be a waste of time for them and will most likely be not interested of what you are promoting.
3899  Economy / Economics / Re: Mental barrier stops from buying BTC on: October 10, 2017, 03:39:08 PM
The problem that I see in here is that people often think bad things when they have a shot at something cheap may it be stocks or cryptocurrency. They will think that it is still not the right time to buy or it will still continue to fall, and somewhere between along those lines. And as soon as the price goes up they will feel regret after and the worst part at this level people who did not bought when it was cheap are people who are buying now. To keep it short people are scared to lose their own money and they often do bad things when they missed their golden opportunity.
3900  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: 7 People arrested for Bitcoin Trading on: October 10, 2017, 03:13:29 PM
It's the latest in development from the country of Nepal which started nabbing bitcoin traders for fraud. Can be sentenced to upto 3 years in prison.

http://kathmandupost.ekantipur.com/news/2017-10-06/7-nabbed-for-running-bitcoin-exchange-business.html

First case of bitcoin related arrest in the country.

The story is totally different from what your title states. They are not arrested for trading bitcoin, but they are arrested for illegally running a bitcoin exchange in the country which would not be allowed in any country, and anyone would get arrested if authorities come to know that some people are running an exchange without any license and legality. It should not be a surprise for them, nor for the people hearing the news. And they should have been expecting this to happen, because running a bitcoin exchange is quite a big business these days, and if you try to do it hiding behind walls, this is what you can expect when it comes to the sight.

I guess that is exactly what will happen across the world that government will say ' do your business, but do it the right way or else we are coming for you' and I think this is something that should be encouraged in as much as we want to run our exchange business and make money, we owe a duty of care for individuals patronising the platform to be safe. Aside that, anyone who does not have the intention to scam would not have any issue registering with government.
It really serves right for them as running a Bitcoin Exchange without any permit is really breaking a law, you are operating a business without any legal authorization you are unjustly enriching yourself. Not only that I assume that the suspension of their businesses will also result to the confiscation of all cryptocurrency in their exchanges which is a bad thing for their clients as all of them will experience losses.
