3881  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can fall up to $9k or rise up to $17k - which one will happen. on: August 24, 2020, 06:56:50 AM
I'm still looking at the long run. So upon checking the chart on a daily timeframe.

There is significant major resistance on $12000 and major support around $11200. So IMO, if one of this breaks, for example, the $12K one, it will be bullish, and it's possible to reach the $17k that you want. If $11200 is broken, it's possible to reach $9k on that rally. No one could really tell for sure, but as long as we are aware and watching the market, we could utilize and take advantage of knowing the possibilities. Don't you think so?
3882  Economy / Economics / Re: The number of jobless people has crossed one million in US - worrying sign? on: August 24, 2020, 05:06:34 AM
With this happening, there are going to be more people who will be looking for opportunities in different places and various industries. Taking advantage of everything that people could make their hands on. As more and more people experience this, it's only a matter of time to blame something or someone about it. I feel that the most affected ones are the financial sector because of the needed "injection" of money to the economy. Since there are fewer tax payers, there would have an effect on how the government is making money about it, and they need to sustain their growth, possibly result in printing money. It's a worrying sign for sure.
3883  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has the s&p500 already made a full recovery? on: August 24, 2020, 02:57:07 AM
Understanding that the S&P 500 is the best representative for the U.S. Stock market, it seems that they got back with more money in the market. There are a lot of companies reaching ATH as well since the market seems bullish. There is massive support based on the daily chart on it

Basing on the chart, it seems that if it breaks the 3400 mark, it will continue up to 3600, and a lot more people would want to invest in the market. I think the mindset of people now is that it's recovering already and it's time to put some money back again. It seems FOMO to me. There are probably a lot of people coming in to the market today.
3884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This beach resort is accepting Ethereum!!! on: August 24, 2020, 02:15:00 AM
Being the most famous beach in Busan says a lot about how the management is influenced by cryptocurrency. I hope that other beaches or other establishments get affected by Haeundae Beach and start accepting cryptocurrencies as well. It's not that easy to understand how to use cryptocurrencies, but it would be beneficial for everyone to use it, especially now. The benefits of it are more significant than the possible obstacles that can be overcome when studied correctly.
3885  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Pay Could ‘Destroy the Financial System’ on: August 22, 2020, 11:46:31 AM
In terms of cryptocurrencies' power and decentralization in a country, they are not giving any control towards the financial aspect. They do not want to give up power on having Bitcoin or any other coin that they have no control over to be legalized.

Even if they say they are open to blockchain technology and it's application towards financial and other branches, they only do not like giving up control with their economic system. They are not taking that risk.
3886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone in the Bitcoin ATM business? on: August 22, 2020, 09:43:54 AM
I'm particularly looking for something related to that, but with the recent events happening, I chose To be a distributor online like in the P2P exchange in Binance. It's better that way right now, thinking of the possibility of spreading the virus or something. I have seen distributors of ATMs, and they support the use of crypto, but right now, they are not operational (distributors), so I can't know the current situation.
3887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the time for $XMR? on: August 21, 2020, 02:42:45 PM
With the recent events from different altcoins for the past month and weeks that have passed, I think it could be the time for Monero to pump if that’s what you are looking for. I think there’s a chance that it would rise in price. We will see in the coming days what would happen.

This would be the bullish type of chart, and it’s biased towards how you see it. If you are talking about it in general, it could be interpreted differently by another trader, since it's always Been probability. So it’s still dependent on the market whether something could or couldn’t happen.
3888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine arrests gang who ran 20 crypto-exchanges and laundered money for ransomw on: August 21, 2020, 05:40:22 AM
I’m curious about what exchanges are involved in this type of dealings because it’s important to be far away from that exchange as possible. Imagine withdrawing your profits from trading and some dirty bitcoin is traced back to your withdrawal address, you could be in trouble for that. I hope no one gets into trouble like that with those exchanges. I don't think those exchanges are part of the top 10. They shouldn't be.
3889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long does it take for an order to complete? on: August 18, 2020, 11:47:24 PM
If the trading volume of the coin is not that great, it would be hard for your order to get filled. Just like what others says, be patient.

For example:

Your order is on the 11 sats with 500K sats volume. But the total volume on the 11 sats order, let's say, is 10 million sats.

So if order on 11 sats has been only 4 million sats and your still remaining on that 6 million sats, it wouldn't push through yet.

Since your order is on the limit, I still think that the volume is significant with what you are trading.

I hope it made sense in some way, and this might be a good realization for you to find a trading pair that has a larger volume.
3890  Economy / Economics / Re: Warren Buffet bought “Gold” for the first time. When Bitcoin? on: August 18, 2020, 11:36:13 PM
After reading the article, it seems that he has withdrawn money from the market and put it into a more strong stock that is not going to be affected by the pandemic. Just like you said, Gold, in terms of investments from Warren Buffet, I do not think he will be investing in cryptocurrencies in any way.

If anybody Remembers, Justin Sun, had the dinner with Warren Buffet and tried to convince him on to crypto, he said this. Look at the quote on this article below
When Justin and four friends came, they behaved perfectly and we had a very friendly 3½-hour dinner and the whole thing was a very friendly exchange of ideas," Buffett said. He added that neither he nor Sun changed their stance on bitcoin

So for Warren Buffet investing in crypto, I don't think it will never be in his interest anymore.
3891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting a hardware wallet doesn't mean your funds are completely safe on: August 17, 2020, 02:41:53 PM
I think most people who get hardware wallets won't quickly get victimized by inputting your seed phrase. That's just nuts. I think people who invest in hardware wallets should already have basic knowledge of those things like that. I never thought of sharing my seed phrases to anyone because they can have access to it. That's just if.

I hope those complaints would be useful and get the funds of the victims back. I hope they manage to get the right ones. Signing a signature would be a challenge for them if they got victimized by inputting seed words.
3892  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Clicking Google Ads can lead you to huge looses - Uniswap customers on: August 16, 2020, 02:19:47 PM
I know there are some requirements in order to be able to participate in Google ads. I’m just not sure how the scams or clones of the legitimate sites are getting through their verification or something. I think as a user, what we could do is to report this type of links that are being displayed and then help get it taken down. And to be fast and sharing it in scam accusations bored so some people would be aware as well.

I don’t know what could happen to Google if they continue doing that. They should be stricter with their regulations or something.

3894  Other / Archival / Re: Betting Systems on: August 16, 2020, 05:56:18 AM
It's a great read for sure. There are some aspects of it that I just learned that that is the name of the technique, like The Paroli Betting System. I entirely use this a lot in Baccarat, but I didn't know that it's what it was called. Some terms there I have seen with the Dicebot that I use in some sites as well.

I think the most essential part of the post, and you didn't include, OP. It's about the conclusion of whether or not Betting Systems work.

Always keep in mind that no betting system will work exactly as you want it to. If you do decide to try one of these approaches, always remember to exercise caution and have loads of fun while playing in the gaming spirit. Good Luck!!!

Luck is still the primary factor when gambling. Make sure to wager what you can afford to lose.
3895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is SegWit and LN adoption still low today? on: August 15, 2020, 11:43:54 AM
I know some people have their systems still with the legacy systems and doesn't support pure Segwit yet. And I think they are nowhere near changing their systems anytime soon, and that's just the reality. They need the effort to improve systems, and I think it's not their priority right now.

Anyways, personally I use SegWit but not LN yet. I read a topic here that someone lost 4 BTC just because of LN, and that's only one of the reasons why it's not however applied everywhere. There are still factors to consider like it's the bugs, etc. I haven't dabbled deep into it, maybe in the future when it's more stable.
3896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Competitions? on: August 15, 2020, 10:05:55 AM
If you want, you can join the Gunbot Tournament [1]. Right now, we are at Binance Futures. You have a chance to win a portion of 10000 USD (If there are qualified participants)

The requirements to join here are
  • Gunbot License
  • Binance Futures account that wasn't referred

You are hitting two birds with one stone. You have an automated trading tool for your trading needs and possible prizes. The competition is held monthly so there are a lot of opportunities. If you have something to ask, don't hesitate to PM me with this. I would be willing to help you, OP.
3897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEfi Hype Trends! This is not something you expect, go before you get stuck FOMO on: August 15, 2020, 07:21:00 AM
You could take advantage of this Hype in your way, like trading with the hype. If you believe that you are choosing the right side, as the price will fall, then you short it and take profit. It's not surprising that it's taking the hype right now because it's the current trend now, a lot of people are buying BTC then buying DeFi tokens. It's better to stay out if you don't know what to do about it.
3898  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BitMex demanded KYC documents. on: August 15, 2020, 04:01:19 AM
Just like what others said, it’s probably going to happen soon enough to be at nicks knowing that they want to be recognized as one of the best exchanges to trade on. If you're going to trade and know that you are on the right side of the coin, you should just follow the protocols needed, in my opinion, unless you are willing to give away in the coins that you deposited. They have complete control now.
3899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chainlink is a shitcoin and will dump to zero on: August 14, 2020, 01:36:37 PM
Why are you hating the coin? You didn’t even state the reasons why you think this is the case. You are just spouting out nonsense and just hating. For me anything that could be traded with USDT would be worth to trade on not necessarily HODL it. You could take advantage of that pump and possible dump. Short it!
3900  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump signs executive orders banning TikTok and WeChat on: August 14, 2020, 08:40:20 AM
With all the fuss regarding Chinese apps, it's not a surprise that Trump is going to do this. There might be vulnerabilities being caused by the applications with all the spying and everything.

Looks like Trump just hating everything that connected with China. Who the hell use wechat outside China?
There are some people who use WeChat even when they are not residing in China. I have used it before but forgot my account there. Now, it's quite hard to register knowing that you need someone to activate it for you and is actually an active user in WeChat.

I remember someone posting in BTCT wanting to look for someone who has WeChat to activate it for him.
