3901  Economy / Speculation / Re: The cause of the recent Bitcoin price hikes on: December 05, 2020, 04:05:58 PM
The fact that people put this much faith of crypto in the hands of these huge companies makes me scared a bit. I mean we are making the price centralized more than we know.

Making price centralized is not that much of a deal compared to making the blockchain centralized, as long as blockchain keeps being decentralized and under nobodies power, we could simply just let it continue to have a centralized price, but it is still not a great deal if we consider the fact that bitcoin price could be changed in a way we want, but we are also giving that same power not to thousands or even millions of us, but few companies instead as well, if it was thousands of companies that would make sense but simply paypal/microstrategy/grayscale trio could come in and destroy the price today if they want to, and that is scary.
3902  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some twist in take for BTC what's next? on: December 05, 2020, 03:35:53 PM
I have been watching the price of BTC from couple days after it broke the 15k barrier and I thought the next thing would be 22k, as days are passing somehow it's slowly pumping up and it was ready to break ATH unfortunately it failed and again it crossed 19k and went down. Is their a dump in upcoming days or pump? I am just curious to know about the next price of BTC, share your thoughts Cool
I would say that there is a big pump coming very soon, people are ignoring the fact that whenever bitcoin had a huge increase and stopped, it followed by a huge increase, that is the way bitcoin has always been and this means that we are going to have a huge increase very soon as well. When it crashes, it doesn't crash after a big stop, or not after an increase neither, it happens out of nowhere and happens very fast, if it were to happen it would have happened already and it wouldn't have stopped at small number neither.

Just because it goes from $19k to $17k doesn't mean it is a crash, a crash is properly screwed price, like from $19k to under $15k and continues go down few hundred per day for a week too and even longer. So at the end of the day I do not believe that crash is near at all.
3903  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: December 05, 2020, 03:03:12 PM
Regarding F1, I wanted to place a bet this weekend on Russel being top3 with that Mercedes and lets hope he will have markets options on Qualifiers and race from Sunday. I think this race will be very spectacular and I hope no more incidents like last week even if today, Vettel spun out and Magnusen almost hit him bad.
Yeah, the F1 one seems to be something of a "go with the day" type of situation which makes no sense, maybe they are still trying to calculate the odds given how Hamilton is not there and that would change a lot of things for people.

I am sure it is going to be one of the most fun ones, but it is going to be tough to call as well, odds going to be a bit bad for both the sportsbooks and gamblers depending on the result, if bottas ends up winning it, and everyone wagers on verstappen and even russel just like I imagine, that would be great for sportsbooks whereas if it is verstappen winning, or mercedes not even making top three somehow, that is going to be very tough for sportsbooks. At the end of the day it should have been open already, hope it starts soon.
3904  Economy / Speculation / Re: TO THE MOON! on: December 05, 2020, 01:00:14 PM
Let's hope that this type of hype will never die down because that is what keeps the prices of coins high. If there is a hype around any coin, if people who follow that project is excited and can't wait to get some more money in order to buy more of the project, that would definitely mean high prices for that coin. Bitcoin is in that situation right now and so is ethereum as well and many others.

I believe the price of bitcoin will continue to rise as long as the hype around it continues, we do not think that it will go down right now, people are still hopeful about it. The difference here in 2020 (and in 2021 I hope) compared to 2017 and 2018 is the fact that there are no people selling tens of thousands of bitcoins.
3905  Economy / Speculation / Re: Seems like the bullrun is over this year! on: December 04, 2020, 08:16:29 PM
Where does it seem like that? Where did you see the bull run ending? First of all, NEVER invest something precious like that. It is regular common sense not to invest something like that and if you did that, you did something wrong and you should have never done that to begin with. However there are a billion places in online world, in books, in tv shows, in movies, and specially in finance channels that keeps saying never invest money you can't afford to lose but you did it anyway.

This shows that you didn't cared about your daughters savings at all. Which is why I think if you still want to keep going about bitcoin not in a bull run go ahead and assume whatever you want to assume, at the end of the day bitcoin is doing great and only thing that is doing worse is your daughters future if you keep doing these things.
3906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy 5 coins and wait till each of them grows 10%, then sell on: December 04, 2020, 04:53:30 PM
I believe the diversification rule in investing can hurt you if you do it too much and too recklessly. Try to think of it this way, the best method you can do is to find 5 coins you can invest and put your money in there and wait for them to increase, that is definitely the best one, the second best one will be picking one coin or maybe two if you can and investing in to it all of your money and hope it profits, this is opposite of what diversification suggests, however worst one is definitely picking 5 to 10 coins or whatever amount and trusting some of them but investing into others just for diversification sake, that is not really something you should do, just because you want to diversify your portfolio, do not invest into things you are not certain about.
3907  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why bitcoin price is growing and typical traders fomo on: December 04, 2020, 03:59:20 PM
Once again another horrible and very low quality post that should show everyone that we need a lot harsher moderating in order to stop these horrible spam to continue. However on the topic of traders, people who are titled traders trade on every point, at 10k, at 15k, at 20k doesn't matter where the price is, they are going to end up trading.

However people who invest do these type of mistakes, the "buy low, sell high" thing is not really that easy for some people I suppose, I have seen people who sold bitcoin at 6k because it went down and they were afraid, I was buying at that point and I was quite happy with the drop because I knew the profits I would make. However at the end of the day I realized that the best thing I could do for them would to show them my profits when I buy low instead of high, nothing else works.
3908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Facebook launches LIBRA then nobody will invest in it on: December 04, 2020, 03:04:23 PM
Libra is not something you invest into, stable coins are not something you invest into, they are just there for you to make trading easier. Nobody "invests" into USDT for example, they just let it be and that is why it worths so much in marketcap because they are capable of printing as much as they want as long as people are willing to use it.

It means stable coins in the Libra shape from Facebook or any other big company that wants to do it, will worth even more, maybe as much as bitcoin one day. But none of it will be per libra, it will be marketcap because one usdt will always worth one dollar, I assume they will do the same with one libra equals one dollar type of deal as well.
3909  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEW] 🚀 Rocketpot.io | JUST IN: Added 2,000+ Games 🎰 | 1 BTC Bonus 💰 on: December 04, 2020, 01:06:34 PM
I never really understood scams in casinos because if you own a casino that is even semi-operational you could make a ton of money with it, why try to risk what you have and get out with limited amount of funds? Normally if you scam people, even if you steal 1 million dollars which is enough money to retire in many parts of the world, you would still just retire with one million dollars and that's it, nothing more.

Whereas if you can manage to keep a casino going as further as you can, we are talking about millions of dollars in profit and on top of that you could later on sell it to someone for same amount anyway. Which is why I think exit scam by a casino owner is the most short sighted thing anyone can do, it makes no sense at all to me and I would rather not play there anymore even if it is not exit scam since they already abruptly went awol.
3910  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lambo Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: December 03, 2020, 05:00:24 PM
The joke about lambo is not about how much we are gambling and winning our gambling games, it is about stake giving away lambo and that means at least one person will win it, we don't know if it will be someone who is rich or someone who is not rich at all, but one person will win it for sure. That is why when the stake community meets in a few years, there will be a lot of people who will have lambo and thats the joke.

I have talked about an option to take the money like freebitco.in does though, I mean stake probably wants to give lambo and nothing else, but getting that car would be very very difficult for many people due to legal and tax reasons, however giving an option of taking 200k dollars instead of lambo would be perfect for many of us who will prefer the money instead.
3911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a good time to invest? on: December 03, 2020, 04:47:08 PM
Depends on how much you will invest and for what purpose. If you want to invest into bitcoin directly, I would say that today is as good as any day, do not listen to people who are calling for a bear run, do not care about how high we have gotten and how late you are right now, those are people who do not see any future profits.

However you should be careful, do not put all your money into bitcoin today because if you do that and price goes down again, you will have to wait a long time before you can even break even. What you should probably do is, buy bitcoin with some of it, and ethereum with a bit more, and keep buying it every Monday, keep doing that as much as you can and eventually you will be fine.
3912  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is poor men Lower class wall street on: December 03, 2020, 03:29:04 PM
At the end of the day poor man required a wall street of its own and we got it, this is not something bad, this is something definitely understandable and doable.

I would say the best case here would be to say that wall street is not something poor man can get their hands on and make a profit and only a place where rich people would take the money from poor man and this is why poor man needed to find a place for their own profiting.

This is why we found crypto and got involved with it, after all we were looking for something that would help us and we found it in crypto where rich people could still make profit if they want to, but they can't stop poor people to make money as well. When grayscale and the likes makes hundreds of millions of dollars profit, we could make a few hundred dollars profit with them.
3913  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe support and resistance still work in crypto? on: December 02, 2020, 04:16:38 PM
There are also psychological resistance points that people keep forgetting about. Look at the $10k price, we have gone over that and gone down probably a zillion times already, it is something I doubt would really continue forever, at the end of the day we are talking about bitcoin here and the price of bitcoin would always change. So, right now we are around $20k and we broke over that $10k few months ago and not looked back since, but it was a huge psychological resistance.

Look at the ATH price right now, we have moved close to it and even over it twice now, and the price kept tanking right afterwards, why? Was there any fundamental or technical reason for it? Obviously not, it is something as usual as it gets when you look at purely price, but it was a psychological resistance that dropped the price.
3914  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currency based economy Question on: December 01, 2020, 06:35:13 PM
Honestly you can see a ton of people who will criticize communism and socialism like it is a horrible thing, and I do understand that some people may think that way. However nobody talks about the horrors of capitalism neither, just because there are tons of money collected at the capitalist countries, they think it is a great way to live, and to think that you have 19 different kinds of flavors of ice cream in those nations, things do look like it is better.

But nobody says, "well if capitalism is better than communism, is there something better than capitalism?" the world is not something stagnant, so we should always try to look for better, I hate capitalism and I hate communism even more, I feel like there has to be at least one more thing that is better than all the things we have now.
3915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty rewards on: December 01, 2020, 09:31:59 AM
This isn’t something that we should still be talking about by now, we have discussed this a lot of times here.
I don’t know why anyone would come and blame hunters, anyone blaming hunters for the price of tokens that fall is dumb asf.

Why would you be blaming hunters like it has anything to do with them? They were hired to work and after they finish working hard you expect them to not take the reward for their work because you think them taking it is the reason for the project falling? This is a complete dumb excuse. How about we blame the investors who will even pump the tokens and dump them later?
3916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal blocked a member's account due to cryptocurrency trading on: December 01, 2020, 07:16:10 AM
PayPal are just literally thieves, they will sell crypto to you and then ban you from making use of your account for no good reason and take your money. This is not the first complaint I am seeing about this PayPal crypto thing, they have blocked so many accounts that belonged to users that were buying crypto with their platform.

Right from time I have always known that’s what PayPal will be like, they place too much restrictions on their platforms, and it wouldn’t be good for trading crypto because you would need to be trading all the time when you’re a day trader. PayPal is just for Hodl and it doesn’t even make any sense because it doesn’t work like regular wallets.

What are you going to do with the money you already gift to Biden bettors when president Trump is reelected? Are you going to ask those people to give you that money back?
Saying that "they paid Biden bettors for no reason" would be one of the most illogical things I have ever heard in my life. You can check each states results from the official vote counting, not media, not PR teams of any party, not anyone who would want to speculate, I am talking about the official results from the official workers who have worked there and declared the results so far.

Who else would be more qualified to give that result? I mean these are the people who counted the votes and told the world the result, literally they are in charge of telling the whole world who USA voted for, that is their job and that is how presidents get elected. This is not media that you hate so much, this is the official results. And official results say Biden won.
3918  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: November 30, 2020, 08:12:12 PM
I think it might be time to actually move the topic name to official sponsor of Southampton instead of Arsenal lol. Right now Southampton is 5th in the league and they are at European league levels so far, whereas Arsenal is 14th, and very close to relegation zone as well which is funny if you ask me. I know that name of Arsenal worths a lot more no matter where they end up, even if they go down this year to lower league, they would still have a much bigger name all around the world and that is why their name is in the topic name over Southampton.

However if you look at their situation right now only for this season you would have imagine Southampton to be a team that has been decent for decades whereas arsenal is a team that barely manages to hang on.
3919  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what successfull trading tips have worked with you so far ? on: November 30, 2020, 06:28:28 PM
what trading tips that actually worked with you so far?
and by worked i meant that you are making profit rather than losing money ...
PS: buying a long time ago is not a trading tip
Being patient has always been a good one, buy low and sell high is always good, be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy works as well. These are literally sayings and not even indicators or tips in technical sense and they all come out of the same result.

If you know that one thing will be good in the future and not have any fundamental issue, you should always wait for it to crash for a very low price because of something and just buy it during that period, and wait for something huge to happen to make it increase. Bitcoin is like that, but do not think the same for some small bad shady token, only few coins are that much trustworthy.

Buy them when to go 50%+ down and sell them when to go 100%+ higher and you would make money without a doubt, and it always does those falls and ups.
3920  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Bearish on: November 30, 2020, 05:58:11 PM
We should stop with these type of huge overreactions to each movement. I see bitcoin going up few hundred dollars and suddenly there are tons of posts about how bitcoin will be $318k and none of them are around anymore, go check them and there hasn't been any messages on their topic for few days now that bitcoin is down. And when bitcoin is down there are tons of topics about how bitcoin is bearish, bitcoin is going down, bitcoin will be 0 and many things like that. Is this like a joke to some people?

I mean you do realize that not every single move in the crypto world has to be 1000x right? Just because it went down 10% doesn't mean it will continue to go down 90%+ more neither, and just because it went up 10% doesn't mean it will go up 100% more neither.
