I just tried this casino and it requires KYC to withdraw. Luckily, I tried with only pennies.
Hell no! I will not submit any documents for withdrawal.

It's highly not recommended to play here. Stay away.
3902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] The Best Casino Promotions on: June 06, 2020, 08:42:32 AM
Any free money is good as long as it's legit, I mean no wager or deposit requirements. I choose free-spin simply because it will likely free without those hassles. If you give money, there will be minimum withdrawal, and if you give goods, there will be difficulties in shipment, plus users will risk their anonymity.

Anyway, if you want to see good promotions, look at what Roobet doing with their slots promotion.
3903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Meme-worthy slots winning reactions (with poll) on: June 06, 2020, 08:30:13 AM
You mean there are people on twitch who are streaming their gambling activities?  Shocked
Where have you been mate after all this time?

It is allowed by Twitch?  Huh
Yes, but blocked in some countries. Try to use a VPN if you can't find "slots" on the search box.

Is there a thread here on those streamers please?
AFAIK, this is the only thread to curate those epic moments  Cool
Anyway, I don't think a streamer-specific thread would be interesting.

3906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto regulations still have a chance? on: June 05, 2020, 02:13:32 PM
^ Regulation only means that the government allows the usage of crypto and removes some risks associated with scams, but that's about it. Cryptocurrency as a product still need to compete with other products, that's my concern.

* If it's about the store of value (sovereignty), it needs to compete with the gold.
* If it's about the payment system, fintech businesses are the leading competitor.

Atm, the strongest crypto use case still only for gambling and trading/speculation.
3907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Concern about Not reacting as a community on: June 05, 2020, 09:50:37 AM
What kind of reaction do you expect mate? The community has been voicing the DYOR attitude and always warn newbies about potential scam ICOs or tokens. The problem is ignorance. As long as they don't do their own research and want to "get rich quick." We will face this problem over and over again.
3908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs. Asset-backed cryptocurrencies: The race for future adoption on: June 05, 2020, 06:55:53 AM
When I think of asset-backed crypto, usually don't look at those backed by USD or another currency... I am looking at the possibility and dominance of a cryptocurrency backed by real-world assets such as real estate, precious metals, and other commodities. USDT aside, how will the world fare with an asset-backed cryptocurrency?
The problem of assets backed crypto is that we still need a trusted central (3rd) party to manage the assets, which is a common enterprise, by definition. There is nothing new about it, and you can learn from the history of why it is full of shenanigans. Hence, it won't ever be used as currency.

For example, coins backed by gold, or commonly referred to as Digital Gold Currency (DGC). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_gold_currency#Providers
You might see popular names like Liberty Reserve is now defunct.

* In FIAT, you trust the Government;
* In POW crypto, you trust the math;
* In assets backed coins, you trust the issuers.

Gold is a commodity, meaning it's pretty much uniform, and yet the trusted 3rd party still showed incompetence. How can they manage such complex assets like real estate?

Yeah, Money Train is a pretty well-known slots. Go here if you guys want to see the big win for this game: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5246868.0

3910  Other / Meta / Re: Online challenge, test your knowledge about Bitcointalk on: June 04, 2020, 01:17:36 PM
Damn, it is so difficult! I only got 11/15 using pure memory. It feels like school tests!

Anyway, this test can be used to give free merit (or bypass the evil IP) to newbies, like in video games, when players get some reward after completing some tutorials. What do you think?
3911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs. Asset-backed cryptocurrencies: The race for future adoption on: June 04, 2020, 12:56:44 PM
POW cryptocurrencies have different value propositions than the stablecoins, so I think it won't affect Bitcoin. The evidence is there if you look at USDT, TUSD, USDC, etc., and yet Bitcoin is still the king of all cryptos. One of the most important things is trust. Bitcoin doesn't require users to trust the central authority. Asset pegged coins still need users to trust and audit the issuers.
3912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: June 04, 2020, 12:30:41 PM
Neither should be fighting imo. Both are old AF! Sad seeing old past it fighters still fighting.
It's fine as long as the organizer uses a proper safety measurement, like x rounds, x minutes, and x pounds gloves, etc. It's similar to football legend exhibition matches. Well, some of the legends still competitive despite their age. See how Scholes and Beckham played. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vbfI99IsAY
3913  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US Moving Away from Capitalism and Free Market? on: June 04, 2020, 10:37:20 AM
I don't want to go to that direction mate, that there is some conspiracy to dilute the meaning of inflation. Because, in economics, we studied all of it, and take the best words to explain the phenomenon. As long as we agree that inflation is about "a general increase in prices and fall in the purchasing value of money." --according to the Oxford Dictionary. Then what causes the decrease in the value of money can be many things:
* Increases money supply;
* Loss in confidence on a particular government;
* Supply/demand shock.

For example, for the same reason, about better-explaining things, mainstream economists reject the objective theory and labor theory of value.
3914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful of new ICO on: June 04, 2020, 09:29:39 AM
Initial Mode Offering ( IMO ) is a big Fundraising scam, I invested in IMO Token, around 200$ and I got 7000+ tokens, today the tokens worth 25$, only God knows what caused the huge price dump and I've also heard about few projects that turned scam after many invested in them e.g HCE project on IMO
The "IMO" as a concept is different than IMO as a token. If about IMO token, I don't know anything about it. I can only say be very careful if you want to invest in any token.
Like others have said, if you are sure that you have been scammed, and have proofs, then you can make a thread on the "Scam Accusation" board.

Regarding your loss, well, it's not the end of the world. $175 is easy to get if you work seriously.

3916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PAGCOR waiting for the approval to reopen land-based casinos. on: June 03, 2020, 09:42:19 AM
Do you think it's safe to reopen land-based gaming knowing that the cases are still increasing by hundreds every day?
If proper safety measures are seriously conducted, then I think it lowers the risk. However, it's not 100% safe.
Safety is not the main concern with this "new normal" stuff since people will be safest if they remain at home. But, the economy must recover so people can earn money and meet their daily needs. It's inevitable after the shutdown failed to eradicate the virus since so many workers depend on the casino/tourism to make a living.
3917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful of new ICO on: June 03, 2020, 09:30:35 AM
Initial Model Offering (IMO) has been discussed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5197057.0
But perhaps OP talks about different IMO?! Generally, it's better than ICO/IEO in terms of keeping the fund safe and distribute it periodically instead of single lump sum.
But that's about it, proper due diligence is a must.
3918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online casino searches at "all time high" during lockdown on: June 03, 2020, 09:14:22 AM
Agree to this! Do you guys think that having an advertising campaign specifically here in bitcointalk can really boost the exposure of these newly created gambling site or casino? Just curious though  Huh
Yes, to a certain extent. I mean users here seem already have their own favorite crypto gambling sites, so if the new sites cannot offer something truly new/different or cannot offer substantial discounts/bonuses, then existing users will know the sites but won't bother to try it (assumed bitcointalk user growth is 0).

In another scenario, more people join bitcointalk -> more users -> more advertisement exposure.

Low HE in crypto casinos overall should be the main selling point though other than the probably fair one.
3919  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s digital yuan could replace bitcoin & end US dollar hegemony on: June 03, 2020, 08:51:30 AM
Did the world trust CCP more than the US? Nope, and never, as long as CCP still rules China.
Can FIAT replace cryptocurrency? Nope, it's different.
