3901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2018-2019 on: May 30, 2019, 04:00:51 PM
Stupid game. Arsenal controlled the first half well didn't they? And then as usual they do what they're famous for and crumble. All those things people were saying about Sarri losing control of his team and the players fighting? I'm beginning to think that's all just mind games ala Mourinho style. Poor Emery though, and poor Arsenal fans.

Why stupid game?
Arsenal showed completely inefficient with this 3-5-2 formation.
They defenders were so bad yesterday and in every counter attack that Chelsea was doing they couldn't tackle them

Congratulations to Chelsea for this title!
3902  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Inflation a Hidden Tax on the Public by the Government? on: May 28, 2019, 07:03:32 PM
After conducting considerable research (secondary) into the workings of our current global financial system, it is becoming evidently clear that inflation is effectively a form of hidden tax on the public. The relationship between the Government, Central Banks, and Banks effectively increases the money supply of the economy which directly leads to price increases but, the price increase itself is nothing more than a reflection of a decrease in the purchasing power of the currency from the increase in the money supply in the first place. Which means, by borrowing money from Central Banks, the Government is actually taxing the public without their notice.

I have uploaded a video explaining the concept in detail for Hindi/Urdu speaking members, you can refer to the link below to learn more, I actually connect the concept with Cryptocurrencies, more notably, with Bitcoin. So if you're interested in the Cryptocurrency space, you'll definitely find it interesting.

Video Title: This is why Inflation is a Hidden Tax! (for Hindi/Urdu) 2019
Link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfdfTtId5qA

I'm curious to know If you think I am on the right track or not.

Do you think that inflation is a form of hidden tax?

You just opened my eyes.
Also, this explains the reason why governments print money. They say that they do it for helping the economy by injecting liquidity but they just print it in order to get indirect taxes.
3903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 28, 2019, 06:59:35 PM
I believe that Mourinho is going to be the best fit for Juventus.
His playstyle would be the best fit for Juventus and Serie A and also for a player that has such an influence such as Ronaldo.
Sarri would not be the coach of Juve, in my opinion. It can't be.
3904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 28, 2019, 06:48:51 PM
I think it is not even a coaching problem. Sir Alex Ferguson was one of the greatest coaches in the whole world and history but the dude managed to run that club for decades which gave him the chance to build a system.

Whenever Manchester United got a new manager they had to readjust to a new system and the players that didn't fit to that system even if they were good were cut from the team for some reason. That is why instead of looking for a coach that can give you success right now every team should be focused on getting a coach that will be in that team for a long time.

If they find even a semi-decent coach and let him run the team for 20 years they will have a big chance, they should not look for a Mourinho or Klupp or Pep but look for a person who is not as good yet will stay at the club for 20+ years, that is how success is built.

We are in a different era or football.
Especially fans, cannot wait for 20 years to see their team winning a big title. We want results and we want them now. And it is very dissapointing to see big clubs struggling for 20 years and not getting titles.
3905  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are Africans being "helped" to much? on: May 28, 2019, 06:42:51 PM
Corporations don't want goal isn't to lift Africans out of poverty, they love how their cheap labor brings them a large amount of profit.  Its really sad but this a dog eat dog world, you have to be skeptical of the charities that supposedly help AFrica as well.  A lot of these charities use most of their budget to fund their own high salaries.

Indeed. But now, they try to focus more in Africa in order to show socially responsible.
The money that they spend for African regions are nothing compared to the profits that they earn. They just do it for their image and their social responsibility strategy.
3906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The way to win in gambling on: May 28, 2019, 06:37:50 PM
In gambling, you need to stop up and take your profit just like in trading. I find that one of the most difficult things I can do when I gamble is to stop playing and withdraw my winnings.
I try always to be positive when I'm gambling, being negative will just lead to wrong decisions.
Being optimistic and trust your own judgement, gambling is the place where you can easily lose everything, but in reverse side you can also easily wins if you now how to stop and quit after winning your bets, difficult to control but it's needed to b done if you wanted to win.
Stop playing when you get a winning and withdrawal the profits that have been obtained is indeed a good strategy and that means you succeed in controlling yourself from greed, but what if you get a losing streak and what strategy you will make. Usually most people will just continue playing until they lose a lot of money in gambling and any strategy will not work when luck no longer takes your side.

You are saying the right thing, but usually when you win you gamble more.
This is why casinos give you incentives such as bonuses. They want to make you play more and don't think of withdrawals, leading you to a losing streak.
3907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 28, 2019, 06:35:40 PM
I still believe GS will win with or without KD!

It's only game 1 that is confirmed he will not play, so possibly we can see him in the series.
However, if the Warriors will win in game 1, probably he will be given more time to rest, Warriors are 5-0 without him, that stats is very scary.

Ι believe that Warriors play better without Durant.
Curry takes more opportunities for 3 points and this guy hardly misses. They win without struggling to much as they score from the 3 point line and they don't need to reach the ball near the basket.
3908  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who thinks we will get a drink from a robot bartender in the near future? on: May 28, 2019, 06:33:10 PM
Its possible but then you have to look at Costa Rica, a country which prides itself on its tourism/hospitality/service industry and the attention to detail they give it, everyone who goes there loves the service because the staff is so great. A robot AI may be efficient but if you have to choose between that and a friendly and charismatic bartender... i think I know who will make the most tips  Grin

If they serve drinks with a robot in Costa Rica then this will be bad for their economy and tourism.
Maybe it is a point where technology does bad, because they do not increase "productivity" . Grin
3909  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 5G Has Dual Use As A Weapons System on: May 28, 2019, 06:28:40 PM
I recently heard this breakdown of exactly why this system is a danger that I thought was quite eloquent and does a good job getting past the "conspiracy theory" aura around this discussion and covering factually possible application.

I totally believe that.
I remember when microwaves were first came to the world that scientists said that they are not healthy and it will make a negative impact to us. The same thing can be applied for 5g and as the frequency increases the more harm is going to happen.

^  Lol at being stuck with Giroud.  But they got Pulisic tho...  So that's at least something to look forward to imo.  And he's American (already played at Germany at highest level tho).  Let's how he plays at the EPL.  Smiley

I have heard from many people that believe that Pulisic is very overrated.
In my opinion, he is a great player and still young which has room for improvement and if he works hard he can be one of the top players similar to what Hazard has achieved till today.

He's still so young tho, so we'll see.  Judge him when he's over 25 and see how much he's valued.  But for now he has the potential to be worth more imho.

I'm a Klopp loverboy so maybe I'm stupid but there's no player Klopp doesn't look at who has incredible potential. I have to say Pulisic's stats are underwhelming, but almost every player Klopp's brought in are in the similar ranges. But then he has a knack for identifying hunger and will, and then tapping into that to turn an underwhelming player into an overperforming one.

Pulisic fits that bill, but I daresay he won't develop the same way he would had he turned up for the Reds. I'm happy to be proven wrong. I miss having a good American outfield player in EPL.

When a player changes a team, everything turns around.
Just see the great potential that Pogba had in Juventus. He was working hard and have a great stamina to endure at max for many consecutive matches. Now, he is a lazy guy that don't work hard to be better and he has turned as a middle class midfielder.
You cannot know what would be the case with Pulisic...
3911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: May 28, 2019, 05:43:03 PM
Guinean midfielder Naby Keita is out of the Final for Liverpool. But Roberto Firmino should be able to play.

I don't think that Keita could make an impact in the final and I thought Klopp would prefer having Firmino and not Keita in the players that would challenge the title. He is a loss in terms of decreasing his choices but nothing more.
3912  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Bitter Critic: "Bitcoin Will be Zero" on: May 27, 2019, 06:38:07 PM
Bitcoin has proven many time that it is alive and it will never worth zero.
Due to the fact that the market is open to anyone, it approaches a lot of people around it who make transactions freely. Having said that, there are no regulators that can silence it or regulate it. It will always have a heart beat.
3913  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price Will be 11,500 by June 2019! on: May 27, 2019, 06:27:54 PM
The forum is full of predictions like it's dozens of garbage. I do not respect these predictions on my own behalf.

Indeed. We see one day of a green market and everyone starts writing his prediction.
And on top of that, there are not any clarifications for giving those predictions. It is just assumptions that happen due to the fact that the market is green.
3914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin jump to 8500USD, will it hit 10k this week on: May 27, 2019, 06:23:13 PM
Bitcoin just jumped to 8,5k USD, with a new high compared to previous uprise, will this be the turn above 10k USD, seems to be easy for BTC this time

The market is very optimistic right now and we are happy to see this increase.
I see that this year we are going high with this uptrend but I don't know if we are going to hit 10k till the end of the month. I am sure that we are going to hit it till mid-June.
3915  Economy / Speculation / Re: Long term advance notice! on: May 27, 2019, 06:17:06 PM
This 2018 post will be entertaining when it happens.

Capital C for capitalism. BitCoin.

Ι cannot trust this guy and I wonder why we give him attention anymore.
If he had the chance to do that, he will do it without posting it. He just want to scare bitcoin holders and spread them or attract them to their project.

...And one more point, if he was the real Satoshi, why would he ever to that to Bitcoin?
3916  Other / Politics & Society / Re: European parliament election on: May 27, 2019, 06:11:51 PM
What a sham the UK election turned out to be. The Robin Tilbrook legal action looks likely to succeed, and this will mean that the UK actually left the EU on the 29th March 2019. The cost of the useless election was 4 times the amount required to save British Steel, and about 30.000 jobs - that shows where the Conservative priorities are, and they have been punished for it. Since we have been in the EU, the pound has lost 70% of it's value, debt has skyrocketed, and our manufacturing base and national assets have been exported. The sooner we can get away from The EU, and avoid having to prop up the collapsing Euro and European economy the better.

I look forward to the return to the British standards of food quality, rather than the lower EU standards that have been imposed on us as well.

You will still be in need of EU and you will keep interacting with the EU but your fees will be higher.
We live in a world of globalization where everyone interacts with everyone. It is better to be with the big players and the majority rather than being alone. This is how it works.
3917  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to Reduce the Size of Government on: May 27, 2019, 06:05:16 PM
Let the platform that a candidate runs on be a contract with the people. When he is elected, if he doesn't do what he said in his platform contract, execution. If he is literally stopped by the opposition from a timely follow-through, so it isn't entirely his fault, life in prison immediately.

When the next person in line takes over after the first guy has been executed/imprisoned, he has a choice. Fulfill the platform contract of the first guy, be executed/imprisoned like the first guy... except if he voluntarily immediately resigns without taking office.

Same with every other person who is the follow-up person to take office as successor to someone who is executed/imprisoned/resigns. Fulfill the contract of the office you are coming into or die.

By the time they run through all the people in government, and the garbage collector resigns before he is executed, government problems will have straightened themselves out.

Cool

EDIT: Obviously, this is only a basic idea. I mean, we should add that if the elected fulfills his contract with the people, a new election is immediately mandated.

This cannot work.
If the first person do not fulfill their program then why the second who takes place should fulfill the programme that the first person has set?
He may don't have the knowledge or the beliefs to execute it.

Aston Villa, one of the few english that won the Champions League (the others are Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd, and Nottingham Forest) is back in the EPL...Good to know that we'll get to watch the top teams at Villa Park, it's such a nice looking stadium  Cheesy

Btw, did you guys read the news about Newcastle? The club is about to be sold to the Bin Zayed Group[1], the same ones who failed to takeover Liverpool last year[2]

2. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1007716/Liverpool-takeover-Man-City-owner-cousin-Sheik-Khaled-Anfield-FSG

I read that Aston Villa is going to get some fresh cash of 170 million because they got back in the Premier League.
This number is so impressing if you consider that some other teams around the world who play in the first division would never get this money. But, this is the reason why Premier League is the top league around the world.

I have to say I don`t agree I think that JFK was alright. I think Nixon was the worst.

I am not an American citizen but as an external observer I have seen other Presidents making a bigger positive impact to the global metrics.
Maybe Trump is going improvements for the US but usually this impact is depicted in the rest of the world, a thing that I can't see right now.
