I guess they didn't want to refund since they shipped them this morning
Dude, you just wasted 1 minute of my life reading this thread. If you knew they shipped already, why post this drivel. learn to read retard. I know how to read quite well. Why would Bitmaintech honor your refund if they have shipped out already? Also, you may want to capitalize sentences once in awhile to be taken seriously in this forum.

bitcoin and tulip are both ponzi pyramid schemes
Great post! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Any evidence to backup your "factual statement"?

If miner costs and electrical costs aren't a factor, cooling, space yada yada then it doesn't get more dense than the SP30, SP31, SP10, and the forthcoming SP20 and SP35 form Spoondoolies Tech. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fstorage.googleapis.com%2Fspond_public%2Fimages%2Fcowboyminer%2520wall%2520of%2520SP30.jpg&t=663&c=UG4mIuWl-OV7mg) Probably the least dense miner or at least worst form factor is the Butterfly Monarch: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FPWSjYip.jpg&t=663&c=sQj_ua82OwnqxQ)

I think OP really meant Hot and Cold wallets.
Simple 2 cent answer. Hot wallet is on a mobile device like a phone, Trezor, tablet, laptop or web wallet like Blockchain etc. that's always connected online.
Cold wallet can be a printed paper wallet, physical bitcoin, USB key, or hard drive not connected online.

Brian all that information is already available in the forums. If you look in the hardware forum you will find lots of guides including Dogie's guide https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=702653.0 which is a atlas for new miners. You have to do the legwork to decide which miner is right for you. As far as profit, currently all miners as well as cloud mining is unprofitable. If you read the forums you will see complete and detailed explanations of this. Thnks DrG, will have a look in the hardware forum. Was not aware that this information was there. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Brian Brian, you might also want to state how much you're willing to invest and potentially lose. Basically what's your current budget and are you willing to re-invest in more hardware to keep up with difficulty jumps. Also, you'd probably want to state what's your current electrical costs. Mining at home is essentially dead, especially if you have costs over $0.10 k/WH. Make sure you read over Dogie's guide like DrG said, but also if you're small timer or home miner investing say $1000 or less, know going in you'll never make that $1000 back. If you accept that going in, then you're just mining for fun, education, and hobby. If you're looking for ROI or profit, you'll need free/cheap electric and need to run something like this: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cryptocoinsnews.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2014%2F06%2Fcommercial-bitcoin-mining-operation.jpg&t=663&c=3H9Q_aPTsdjwNA) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fcdn.coinqa.org%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2014%2F02%2Ffarm.jpg&t=663&c=v4d6Zgm_hfL9GA)

Windows XP
sorry, but in industrie ... even windows CE work very well with internal net (like canbus or I²C). monetary system must be strong ... not new every years. android is the same since 5 years now. the apps that i have found ... is always here now. and macox ? (oh hell, no...) and apple ios ? (well ... the freeze and don't work ... iOS7 needed gun on your head) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ks-N4rI_1RUthe last one is not an industrie ... it's an hobby. and even hobbyist are more industrial way than apple in many factories. I'm not comparing the quality of the products or each release. If you hate certain companies or operating systems, that's just your opinion. Fact of the matter is, technology progresses over time, and in theory at least, the next version builds upons and improves the former. No way can Bitcoin can stay stagnant without further development, bug fixes, and innovation. You think someone is going to wait in a Starbucks for a single cup of coffee for 1 or 2 confirmations if they paid using their mobile phone wallet? Especially with Apple Pay simplifying mobile pay, competing technologies have to step up. Bitcoin is still crawling, we need it to walk, talk, and eventually run, from this Beta/Toddler phase.

This is one long auction! Started in June, now we're in September.
Charles99, you're better off just selling it in the Goods/Computer Hardware sub forum for the best offer, there tends to be alot more buyers of equipment in there. Don't think this auction is going anywhere for you.

try to invest 50% in some altcoin, or mining, keep the rest
I`d have to say no to alt coin. There is so many and most are pump and dumps, so thats just throwing bitcoin away. I usually look at a coin for a few weeks before doing the investment. I have recently started doing it and looked into kore and ltcx. Have to say wasent disappointed in my investement. Also Doge right now is a good investment. In what world is Dogecoin a good investment? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FtZjw4Kq.png&t=663&c=4h6dY5_JDcH2cg) Stay away from alts people, they're all pump and dump schemes, the penny stocks and pink sheets of the Cryptocurrency world...

Bitcoin 2.0 spells the end of Bitcoin.
It's inevitable. HTML5. IE7,8,9,10,11,12. Android Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat. Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 9. OSX Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks, Yosemite.
Bitcoin will end, it's just a matter of when the next iteration of it will be developed. All of it's core properties intact, but with none of it's shortcomings. Like all technology, it will evolve eventually.
We need to get to Bitcoin 1.0 first. Exactly. We're effectively in Beta, as current Bitcoin Core version is 0.9.2.1. We're in very early days, so I don't think we'll see Bitcoin's true potential for another few years.

No no no, not Tulips, you mean Nigerian Princes. I never got an email about Tulips, only a young fellow from Nigeria that wanted me to wire him some coins as an advance, before he hooked me up with more coin later. That Nigerian prince is the bomb! ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Worse case compare BTC to magic beans, as they can magically create a giant beanstalk where after climbing it you can get a bag of gold after trading in your cow or home mortgage.

No miners are worth it at the moment. Not Knc, not Spondoolies, not Bitmain, etc.. Unless you have free electricity or cheap electrical costs under $0.10 k/WH it's not worth it. You would have to compete against the likes of this to gain profit: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fmedia%2FBwmlCt3IAAAr-Xs.jpg%3Alarge&t=663&c=qWHBo15RWyc3bw) If you choosing just get BTC's for a few hundred or a few grand even, just buy it out right, it's more than you'd ever mine back with the miner/electrical/cooling investment.

I heard that faucets pays well try some, you can search through google.com
Faucets no longer, as the amount you get for the effort, amounts to BTC dust. You could spend hours and hours trying to collect money from those faucets, and it'd amount to a few pennies. Not worth the effort or time sink.

This is pretty repulsive by Black Arrow. To not only not meet shipping deadlines, lie about compensation, constantly deny any wrongdoing, use customers preorder money to fund other operations like their Scrypt product, ship miners way off their proposed performance mark, ship faulty fire hazard X-3s, now this!
Deleting over 100 pages of comments to try and cover up the long con...conniving bastards.
