I'll add another for the Milwaukee Bucks -6.5 versus the Miami Heat. We all saw how bad the Heat are now even with Butler coming back and they even lose against the Grizzlies without Ja Morant.
Now without Bam, they are having a difficult time protecting the rim.
I'm on the Bucks spread as well, I don't think Miami will have enough firepower to keep it close at home since they've been recently losing by at least double digits.

With Giannis back on the side of the Bucks, this will probably end on a double-digit win.

I took the Bucks spread as well, anything against Heat atm... It's been a quite start for Giannis so far btw.

Game: Boston Celtics vs LA Clippers.

Though Boston here is playing a back to back game, I would still trust them to at least make it a close game and probably win the game.

Therefore my pick is Boston +4  and a little ml bet. Good luck everyone!

In their last 3 meetings, Boston won all the games, so I might agree with this pick but since they are in a b2b game and the Clippers are well-rested, maybe we will see the same thing happen to them against the Clippers. And I'm taking note, this is the first game of the Clippers after their road games, so this should start it with a win.

I'm going with the Boston pick here too, playing back to back my might be a disadvantage though, but the Clippers themselves have not been a convincing team to bet on IMO

As a fan It's pathetic to witness Barcelona get eliminated from the group stages in the UCL, but I wouldn't say I had high hopes coming into today's match, I was more of hoping that Benfica could would fail to win against Kiev, but that turned out to be a waste of hope as well.

Not so many upset overall, Man Utd and Chelsea failing to win would probably be the most unexpected results for today.
3903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 08, 2021, 08:28:28 PM
Barcelona must win to qualify for the next round although I think they can also qualify with other scenarios. But what is clear is that this is not a match that will be easy for Barcelona considering that so far they have not been able to win against Bayern Munich in their last few matches. If today's two Group E matches are draws, then Barcelona will certainly qualify. But if Benfica win while Barcelona draw then Barcelona will fail this season.

Benfica already handling their own part of the situation in a spectacular fashion, they're leading Dynamo Kiev by two goals already just after 24 minutes.

It's now a win or bust situation for Barcelona, which of course needs to be careful now with two players already on the booking sheet, the last thing they want now is to go a man down against Bayern Munich.
3904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 08, 2021, 08:02:12 PM
Even though Juventus won Malmo, their game was still very poor! They didn't take a lot of opportunities... Neither did Chelsea! I'm surprised that Zenit were able to draw with Chelsea with so many goals scored! Something strange is going on with the favourites today! Let's see for the next matches... Wink

After the 3-2 lead from Chelsea, I felt it was game over and they'd go away with win and finish as the group leaders, but now PSG is one of their potential opponents for the round of 16.

I'm so much interested in seeing how the Group G is going to play out, every spot is still up for grab and either of all for teams could still get eliminated, although I believe that Lille and Sevilla would be the teams to advance in no specific order.

I'm right down here at the bottom of this table now together with you Trofo. Halab on the top, and everyone else in between, but yeah, still another round of games tonight before the table as we know it shouldn't shift too much more once we enter KO phase.

Ruined my life with City in every single pick I made, and missed out on a big Liverpool win as all were accas. Is it too much to ask to get Barca to save me tonight?
Doing terrible in this pool but at least I got most of my both to score games right yesterday. If just inter had one goal in them, I would have won all my tickets. This way i got nice profit plus 8 mBTC insurance free bet to try and convert today.

That being said I don't like the games tonight. I am thinking Bayern - Barca should be goals since there are rumors Bayern is resting some first team defensive options and all attacking players should play. Wolfsburg is in terrible form and Lille has gotten back to the form so maybe Lille to win @3.2 or Lille x2 @1.56? Need some ideas definitely.

I'm actually getting better by the round, I'm currently up 2nd just behind Halab I think.

I'm so looking forward tonight, I hope Barcelona would be able to advance through to the next round, against all Odds and for that to happen, I think it's safer to expect a win from Barcelona than to expect Benfica to slip up tonight, isn't it ?

The Lakers and Celtics, the teams with the most championships in NBA history playing on Larry Bird's 65th birthday, hell yeah!

I'm going with J. Tatum's total points + rebounds and the Celtics to cover the spread (alt spread actually, a couple of points added just in case LeBron and co catch fire and decide to show up). The Lakers are 4-11 ATS at home, while the Celtics have a positive record of 10-4 ATS on the road. Tatum has covered the 35+ pts/rebs line in 8 of the Celtics' last 10 games, and i don't see why he won't do it again today against that terrible Lakers defense.

Damn!

Imagine Tatum coming through on his part but losing the bet because of Celtics failure to keep their deficit within 11 points, the 3rd Quarter was the deal breaker  Embarrassed

-2.5 Nets is already attractive to me @1.88 so I will go with it. KP is not playing but there are reports that Luka might not play because of another injury he suffered. So that is a big blow to the Mavericks.
It looks like Porzingis and Doncic will be playing based on the odds shift as Nets and Mavs moneyline are now hovering around 1.80 - 2.00 and the spread moved to -1.5.

Regardless of the lineup, i'm still going for the Nets since they usually turn things back after a loss and the Mavs might need a couple of matches before they get back their old form.

Both KP and Doncic played and the Mavs looked to be heading for win until their sudden collapse in the 4th Quarter, making just 2 field goals from about the 9 minute mark, and 4 field goals in total all through the quarter, absurd right ?!

Borussia Dortmund beat Beşiktaş 5-0.  Borussia Dortmund, who shot 29 shots throughout the match, made a strong impression with his effective game.  Still, they finished the group in third place with overall average and went to the Europa League.  They could be one of the favorite teams in the European league this year.

Dortmund left it too little too late in the group before making efforts to advance through the group stage, Ajax were literally still unstoppable winning 6 of 6, in a group of supposed equals is something worthy of commendation, It's Besiktas I'm actually wondering how they were able to make it to the group stage in the first instance, 3 goals scored and 19 conceded. Wth 🤦‍♂️

3909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 07, 2021, 12:28:47 AM

Everton got a rightful win against Arsenal. Even though Richarlison's 2 goals were disallowed by VAR due to offside, he didn't give up and succeeded in scoring a decent goal. It really surprised me that there were only 4 people who predicted Everton to win in the pool. All in all, it was an unbelievable game. I like the Premier League especially because of this.

I'm more surprised that anyone actually went for Everton to win, I mean Everton probably have the worst run of form in the PL before this game, they've a not won any if their last 8 matches, their last was back on September, and it was against Norwich. I could have considered them to stand a chance if they're title contenders since that's the only people Arsenal seemed to have no idea how to play against.

Perhaps this win and the return of some of their best players might spark and new run of form.

My pick.

Game : TrailBlazers vs Clippers.

No Lillard for TrailBlazers so I'm expecting the same story on their last two games where they are heavily dominated by their opponents.

-Loss 31 points against the Spurs
-Loss 28 points against the Celtics.

So, not really expecting that they'll bounce back, instead, I expect the Clippers to bounce back after a loss against the Kings.

I have the Clippers -2.5 @1.93 against the TrailBlazers. Yeah, I think the Clippers will have to bounce back after their huge loss against the Kings. They've just beaten the Lakers in a tough match and then loss the next game.

And without Portland's top scorer, it will be hard for them to really phase as far as their offensive weapons is concern. CJ can't do it alone and they lack the support system right now.

I'm tailing this as well, the line is currently at -3.5 @ 1.97 for the Clippers, let's see if they can really bounce back.

I've got other bets as well:

Orlando Magic +15.5 vs Warriors

Miami Heat -4.5 vs Memphis Grizzlies

GL Everyone!

I really feel sorry for Everton! I don't know how this game will end, but the cancellation of two goals is a real upset! Even before the game I had no doubt they would lose to Arsenal, but now I think they deserve to win! It will be very funny if they score again and the goal is not counted again... Grin

Everton can still get something out of this match, right now it's 1-1 and 1 point is better than nothing. There is still some time left though.
Lacazette out and Auba in, I wonder when will he score again. Arsenal's biggest problem is that, they should get more scoring contribution from strikers.

There is a complete turn of event and Everton have taken the lead in the extra minutes provided with a stunner from Gray, there absolutely nothing the keeper could have done, but the defenders should closed him down a bit, I'd say they left him a luxury of space and he opted to shoot from distance!

After Richarlison's hattrick (but only one counted), Everton can finally feel less unfortunate about both goals being ruled out earlier.

I'm finally in the prize spots range again, and it seems I'll end with the yellow cap for the round, a round which all my picks were made without any prior research I just went with my guts and followed the team recent form as being shown in the SuperBRU prediction page. I don't know how often that'd work, but It would be worth trying for me again 😊

Can't believe that Napoli ended up losing to Atalanta. Don't get me wrong, Atalanta has been on a crazy roll, they have won 5 out of last 5 as far as I can see, they have been amazing and they are fourth and only 2 point difference between Napoli. However, Napoli has been going through a rough patch and their crazy good start seems to be slipping away from them as well, so it looks like it is a bit of a problem for sure.
Napoli has been quite unlucky recently with injured players who are all starters. If you look back on the match against Atalanta, they had to play without their two starting central defenders Manolas and Koulibaly. Lobotka began in the midfield because Ruiz was injured and Stanislav isn't really up to the task. They had to overcome injury concerns in attack as well. Insigne got injured and Victor Osimhen is out for a long time already with a facial injury. If you take all that into considerations, Atalanta had a great chance to bring some points back and they succeeded in doing that.

I really thought Napoli would have won the match given their season performance so far, and Atalanta have not been the best team when playing other competitors, but their recent form was something that shouldn't have been undermined.

It was more of an even game from my perspective, both teams had their fair chances to have won the game, or draw to say the least, but Atalanta came out at the top of their game in the 2nd half. A lot of players were missing for Napoli no doubt, but I don't think that would have taken away the victory from Atalanta.

Ajax is playing some incredible football this season, they are my dark horse in this competition and I expect to back them even against heavy hitters in later stages. Have a feeling we are due to see one "small" club come far and I expect Ajax to do that. Of course if they manage to hold on to all their players during winter transfer window. Could be very different Ajax team after it since there is always plenty of rich clubs targeting their players.

Ajax had their chance in 2019, kicking out Real and Juventus, but kicked by Tottenham late goals in Amsterdam
they were already seen in finals after win in London and lead at home

I cannot imagine seen this season different, maybe semi-final is too far for them, IMO, but they need more than great football to reach final, stability, and I think that they lack it again, will be interesting, for sure

Ajax might still be able to advance further this season, they're playing on almost the same level like they did that year or even better, but then the draws/fixture might actually have to be in their favour too, because it's tougher if they have to play big teams at every step of the way.

Jazz won in the end but Cavaliers could have easily stolen the win if the tip-in was successful or the shot from Darius Garland had went in, It was a really close game from 1st to 3rd Quarter, Cavaliers gave the Jazz a run for their money and were never for once out of sight, but the Jazz took a 15 point lead early in the 4th and that should have been the pace setter for them, but the Cavaliers just wouldn't back down.

I was denied exact points by Brentford and today now on the brink by Aston Villa. Almost denied by Wolves too (but Origi saved the day). But it's been better than past weeks for sure.

Brentford actually gave me 1.5 points from that fixture,l.

Despite having just 10.5 points, I think it's the best I've gotten in over a month, which led to my huge fall in the standings, I decide to putting a couple of draws this time around and it proved quite effective.

I'd mostly agree with you, they probably thought they'd have the win somewhat easily and were caught of guard by how wide the Spurs lead was getting, but you really would have expected them to keep things going after they took the lead during the fourth quarter, but it's just one of those days where getting cocky leaves you with a red face.

We've got an early one today between Jazz and Cavaliers, I'm riding on the Utah Jazz -5.5 here

Atletico also lost in injury time, and Real now is facing some fierce resistance from Sociedad, plus Benzema had to be subbed for an injury. Going to be my last game, I've been stuck to screen for hours! I love this thick and fast action =D
I thought that is it for Real when Benzema got injured but they actually played solid and Jovic for once looks interested in game, already has an assist and goal. Sociedad does not look like they have it in them to turn this around. Will be a great day's work for Real if it stays like this. Loses from Barca and Atletico while getting 3 points, can't get much better than that from their point of view.

Maybe it's all still too early and all, but I'll give it to Real Madrid that it's their title to win for this season. Not even their starters they seemed to have the best bench squad to back them up, I expected a tougher game for Real Madrid but Jovic with what happened to be his best game since arrival in Madrid helped the team and might be the go to guy to feel Benzema's boot till he's back.
