3901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why its hard to attract investors on: October 24, 2019, 10:15:04 PM
It is because of all those negative news that are being spread by the media. The government controls most of the media, you know right? And most of the government does not like the concept of crypto currencies. After all they like to control people and their financial aspects. Now the government can't control crypto currencies, thus they hate it even more. All they do is talk about the dangers of crypto currencies thus people kinda hesitate to invest on crypto currencies.
3902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: October 24, 2019, 09:42:49 PM

I read about many so called Bitcoin Banks, Projects,  who promise you 3% interest annually, simply don't believe in holding your bitcoins in one place for such a long time.

So how would you increase your bitcoins?
Don't trust those projects. They are scam (at least most of them are). There are no guarantee of them giving back your coins once you send it to them. There are even crazy schemes out there that promises to give you insane returns for your coins. Those are just some ponzie scheme. Don't fall for it.
You can "increase" you bitcoin by investing more on it or through trading.
3903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF]Part 2 on: October 24, 2019, 09:37:16 PM
What If,... you're currently playing and suddenly you run out of funds and on the next draw you missed the game which you are about to win the Jackpot.
What would you feel and do about it? Will you stop playing because of that miserable scenario?
And if that happens in real life, you won the Jackpot by your lucky numbers and suddenly you misplaced the ticket, that's a BIG LOSS already don't you think?

-Let's see how'd you feel down about missing a BIG THING in just a blink of an eye.

I know this is a "what if" situation/question, but you would never know if you were to win the next bet or not since you haven't placed the bet.
Assuming I were to win the next bet or I had misplaced my ticket, isn't it obvious I would feel really bad? I would regret for some days and then move on with my life.
3904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Yourself And You Protect Your Assets on: October 24, 2019, 09:20:18 PM
I've read people asking and posting how to protect their wallet but apart from educating yourself on how to protect your wallet, private keys and passwords, It's also very important that you protect yourself from exposing your portfolio you don't go around telling friends and random people, coins that you are keeping.
And also It's important to have other businesses or jobs and not rely on all your needs to Cryptocurrency, people will notice this and they will think you are making a fortune from Cryptocurrency and they might target you.

So are you protecting yourself and how do you protect yourself and your family?
As long as you have secured your wallet properly and have taken proper steps to ensure that nothing can go wrong, then it doesn't matter if you go around telling friends and random people about your coins. After all, it actually feels good to boast about your portfolio and it might also help get peoples interest into crypto currencies.
You don't need a job for hiding your crypto profits from people. You need a job to have a secure and stable source of income. You sound so paranoid.
3905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: October 24, 2019, 08:46:47 PM
  • Each round is independent of the adjacent ones, no previous results dictate the next
Not sure about bustabit, but this is not a superstition in case of dice. Every dice bet you place is actually independent of the previous bet. No matter if you win or lose, the next bet result does not care. It is actually true for most of the gambling games out there.
Yeah, there are people who believes that having a bad streak, there is a good chance of winning the next bet thus increasing bet size. All these are just gamblers fallacy.

Edit: My bad. I read it wrong.

I have seen people changing their client seed to some "lucky" numbers. They think it might help them win bets.
3906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asia can be the biggest crypto market on: October 24, 2019, 08:11:04 PM
maybe more crypto investors from continental Europe and America. but actually Asia is the biggest market for crypto because it has the most populous countries like China, India and Indonesia. and more importantly, Asia also has fairly stable internet access at the moment, unlike Africa which is still having trouble getting to the internet. many business models that can be applied there, especially in the financial sector such as payment instruments. but why the reality isn't what I imagined. at present crypto is only a notion and there is no real use that can really be applied to crypto except investment.

many think it's all because of the Regulation, but I don't think so. Regulations can be changed and there are currently no regulations that actually prohibit crypto. so this is not the main reason.

then what do you think?
Being populous doesn't mean that the country will be the biggest user of crypto currency. Literacy rate and technological development are also the factors that matter when it comes to the usage of crypto currencies. A person who has little to no knowledge about how to use a modern computers like a phone or a laptop won't be able to use crypto currencies.
Are you sure there are no regulations currently? As far as I know, most of the Asian countries are actually against bitcoin.
3907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: October 24, 2019, 07:51:53 PM
The market for Altcoins has been bad recently, and many Altcoins have died and lost a lot of money. What kind of Altcoins do you think will die?thanks for sharing
The price of altcoins are more volatile than that of bitcoin. They may skyrocket or fall within seconds of the time frame. They are more risky to hold. The new altcoins are even more riskier. Altcoins that are considered "shit coins" (coins that are just some regular coin with no outstanding feature or coins that are clone of other coins) will eventually die. The coins get pumped by the developer and then they end up dumping it which results the death of the coin.
3908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down on: October 24, 2019, 03:18:59 PM
Bitcoin is back down to $ 7500 and altcoin is also following Bitcoin, is this to buy BTC when it is going down badly or waiting for the price of $ 7,000,
Why wait? You never know what is going to happen to the price. It might rise within few hours. You will be regretting then. Just invest a little and as the price keeps on dropping try investing more into bitcoin. This way, you won't miss any opportunity. Waiting for the price to fall even more before investing is kinda like gambling right now. There is a chance it will fall, again there is a chance it won't. It's more like if you don't invest now, you either return empty handed or will some nice high amount of profit.
3909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin can not become a global currency on: October 24, 2019, 03:05:07 PM
Hi, Gents,

I think there has to be a way to create a tracking system for bitcoin. Every wallet must contain ids. Otherwise, bitcoin can be always used for money laundering. If you want to launder money, you can find a cash seller everywhere. After bitcoin is bought, noone can prove whose bitcoin it is. I think this is the only think that preventing bitcoin to become a global currency.
-snip-
If we alter anything in the bitcoin system, it won't be the same bitcoin that we are using. Again, if we start adding IDs to the wallet and keep tracking everything, then we no longer follow the main goal of bitcoin. No more privacy or financial freedom. There won't be any difference between using bitcoin and paypal. Remember, too many restriction is never a good thing. Nothing is preventing bitcoin from being a global currency. And if you didn't know, it is already a global currency.
3910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Exchange on: October 24, 2019, 02:57:57 PM
What do you mean by slow transaction speed? Are you paying enough miners fee when sending a transaction to the exchange? If you pay low transaction speed, there is nothing the exchange can do to speed up the transaction. Most of the exchanges are supposed to credit your account instantly as soon as the requested number of confirmation has been reached. The same goes for withdrawing your currency. Care to say the name of the exchange?
3911  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 23, 2019, 08:58:08 PM
Dear all,

I bought 2 BTC when it were 18k USD/1BTC and lost all my other assets with BCC 400usd.
I still have been keeping them with the belief that it will recover and over 20k.
it is too long time and that makes me so tired, i need money to invest a plan, but there is no money
Do you have any idea?

thanks
You see, if you sell them, you will end up making your loss. Keep holding them if you don't want to make any loss. It is only the price that has went down, not the number of coins you have.
No one knows when the price will be back at 20,000 USD. If you want, you can sell your coins for fiat and move on your plan you are talking about.
3912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your opinion about this investment strategy on: October 23, 2019, 07:42:10 PM
You did a good job by spreading out your $2,000 investment on different coins. Not sure about all the coins, but you did invest on some coins that have potential and isn't going to end up being a shit coin.
Adding $250 every month to your investment is actually another wise choice taken by you. What ever you do, make sure you invest most of your coins on BTC and then spread out the rest on other well known coins.
3913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the Faith of Casino business owners? on: October 23, 2019, 07:21:02 PM
The article seems to be talking about a specific country. Laws of a country is only applicable for the country. They won't be applied world wide! So, the ban of casino in that country means it has been banned over there. Not through out the whole world. Even the citizen of that country can gamble in some other country.
The ban won't effect anyone other than the people of that country. So there is nothing to worry about.
3914  Economy / Gambling / Re: Jetwin Casino- Betting on: October 23, 2019, 07:12:32 PM
This has gotten completely out of control,

Id like to state for everyone factual things:

1) i dont play at Jetwin allot ive maybe made 100 bets in my life there and most of them where 3+ months ago. I have deposited and withdrawn at jetwin various times with no issues.

2) My account was 0 and I deposited 7 MBTC ( for the first time in months even logging in) on monday.

3) On monday my balance went to 35 mbtc from a couple tennis bets no action after i placed those bets , on tuesday when i went to log in my account was no longer even valid.

I have emailed customer support tuesday and recieved a message today saying my account is under review.  Id like to keep in mind I did not even attempt to withdraw any of the 35 mbtc now in my account. ( I cant even access my account).

This is the latest message from Jetwin

Your digital footprints match with some other accounts. Our fraud team
has reached a decision that a number of accounts were linked and belong
to the same member. This violates personal limit regulations for a user
and is considered as fraud according to site rules.

As standard procedure, a return of your deposits would have been
scheduled for your account. However, as you have already withdrawn more
than you have deposited, no further payments can be made to your account.

Fraud department's decision is final and cannot be reversed.

..Every single thing this message says is false, I have only one account, I have only ever had one account, logged into one account, Limited play at the book because its honestly not even very good for what i am looking for,  There saying because I have tecinally won a small amount here in my life that my deposit will be kept because im being called a multi accounter and have won money?

What can i even do ?  "This is final decision"

Someone help me this has gone from .....susicious behaviour to down right insulting now and its personal i feel now... I dont feel like i should lose any money for something that is a total lie. Its honestly not important the money its just principal at this point if i was guilty i would just lay down and accept it but this is downright criminal!
Same shitty "multiple account" excuse to not give you your winnings. This is really sad. By any chance were you using a VPN to access the site? Since you will be sharing your IP with many other user using the same VPN, there might be a chance of false positive alert.
Anyways, make a proper thread at the scam accusation board. Let them know you have created the thread and would like to continue your discussion over there openly.
3915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learn to play Dice on: October 19, 2019, 01:24:16 PM
Read the article. Its all totally generic stuffs you haven written over there. Anyways, it is quite easy to play dice. You just have to toll above or below certain number based on your odds/win chance/payout to win. Your article also includes "How to lower your risks". Trust me. Those are all gamblers fallacy. You can't lower your risk when playing game of chances. You can take less risk, but your rewards/profit will also reduce along side, but in the long run you will be making the same amount of profit or loss in total.
Anyways, you can try crypto-games.net if you want to play dice.
3916  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT.net Stole My Bitcoins I need to reach the media please!! on: October 19, 2019, 12:36:08 PM
Hello,

As I mentioned in the title that Yobit stole 0.025 BTC in term of BSTY and support doesn't answer at all. I need solution please!!

This is the fake transaction created:

-snip-

Any other proofs should I give welcome.

Thank you in advance for any help!
If you want to report a scam, make a proper thread at scam accusation section with all the proofs you have.
Anyways, why would be using Yobit. Its a shit exchange with thousands and tons of people complaining about it. Just google "yobit scam" and you will see a lot of people complaining about them. They have a shit support system. Good luck getting an answer from them.
3917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: October 19, 2019, 12:32:49 PM
You can check Coinmarketcap where you can get the list of Top 100 exchanges by Trade Volume. Also, we can check CoinGecko where it gives Cryptocurrency Exchange Ranking by Trust Score. By checking this, we can choose some crypto exchanges and do some research about that exchange, check the reviews and later we can do test trade on that exchange and know how good that exchange is. By doing this, we can get to know how good an exchange is.
Just using trade volume to judge an exchange isn't the best thing to do. If I am not wrong, some exchanges (but I guess most of them do that) adds fake volume to their exchange to stand out at the market. That is an unethical thing to do. Rather than just focusing on the trade volume, look for exchanges that have good user interface, an excellent support system and well known coins added avoiding those shit coins.
3918  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is controlled not just manipulated but controlled on: October 19, 2019, 12:13:29 PM
Who ever created Bitcoin knows how to manipulate.

Simple:)
Lol. Sad how little you know about bitcoin/cryptocurrencies and the market. Creating bitcoin is one thing, and its existence in the market that is the price is another thing. You saying shit as if someone who created the coin can easily set the price by changing some protocols/code. The market is decentralized and there no hidden "mystery". So according to you, if someone (who created) knows how to manipulate the market, then each and everyone out there will also know how to manipulate the market.
3919  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Inheriting Bitcoin on: October 18, 2019, 08:13:04 PM
While I was browsing the latest Bitcoin news to search for an update positive and negative once then I stumble upon this article that insists that you can now pass on your Bitcoin when you die when you used their service,

And this is Casa's Bitcoin inheriting Service that I think will surely be helpful in the future when you passed away (knock on the hood) and your family and relative doesn't know a thing about cryptocurrency and your Pass Phrase as well, Well I think there is a risk involved in this kind of service your relatives can sure recover your Private key but it can be also an exploit to be stolen as well, but they had promised a multi-sig system that can make the inheritance safer what do you guys think?

https://cryptoslate.com/you-can-now-pass-on-crypto-with-casas-new-bitcoin-inheritance-service/
Why go through all these hassles? The third key will be held by Casa and the other key will be kept with a lawyer and you need three out of six keys to have access. What if the lawyer could not be contacted or something went wrong with Casa's inheriting service. All these would just go in vain. Just like the other user suggested. Put the seed on a bank safebox along with instructions. Then write a will. It is this simple lol.
3920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What opportunities Cryptocurrencies have created since it becomes very popular on: October 18, 2019, 08:04:55 PM
We're talking about jobs, livelihood and fulfilled dreams What opportunities Cryptocurrencies have created since it becomes very popular
in my case, it changes my life I made a job out of Cryptocurrency by just giving my opinion and doing stuff from other people, so how about you.
Not sure how bitcoin created job for the people like you say. There were jobs for people before bitcoin was invented. The same jobs are still available today. Nothing has changed in the job market. Just the payment system (but i doubt most of the would prefer crypto currency as their preferred payment receiving method as it becomes complex for them to convert to fiat and stuffs). But it did open up the borders. People can now easily transact or send coins from one country to another without any problem or restriction within seconds. So cross border transaction is one the opportunities crypto currencies have created I would say.
