It is true that the price is having a great movement this last quarter of the year but that doesn't mean it would continue to increase at the same pace for the next few years. It would go up, it would go down, it would go up, there will be a correction, and so on. We don't know what will also happen in the future that might affect the price.
I am not really sure about that short period of time even though the continuous increase they are only thinking about now and how the correction that occurs the bear market will definitely come because this often happened before when the market was in a bull run, but indeed in the last quarter there has been a better improvement. and more like 2017 hope it happens again I didn't expect it so high, just touching 20k again it is amazing that bitcoin can make up the numbers again. All the peoples are waiting for the huge hype in crypto market, so current traffic is really good to trade for all the investors. Every year peoples are waiting for the 2017 market, But current growing is totally varied on previous moment. So we are actively monitor the market. Almost we are ready to see the end of the year result because every year November and December we are see some pump and dump so few peoples are expecting the $100k in upcoming, I hope it will be possible on 2025. I agree with you that companies try to look after them self first and want to reduce cost. But we shouldn't forget that we are all humans, it's difficult times for all of us. Forcing people into unpaid leaves can ruin families. On my opinion the casinos also have obligation to help out there employees. They shouldn't forget about the expertise and training they invested into their employees. They will need them again once everything picks up again. I used to feel like "buying low, selling high" is the only way to make money and I have invested during 6-7k period last spring so I am feeling comfortable.
However I have changed my mind about buying low part, because buying low could also mean "low according to who?" and we can't really answer that as global one type answer, to some people who want to buy today and sell when it is 50k in 15 years or if it happens sooner, buying today would be low, they do not mind buying at 16k when they are fine with waiting 10+ years to sell, but if you are a day trader and want to buy, you can buy at 16374 and sell at 16480 and still make profit, so people are really working towards their own buying and selling levels and each of them are different from each other.
We can really differentiate between long term holder and an active trader when it means on buying low and selling high thing because they do have different timeframe on when to sell which its understandable and this is really depending into a certain individual because not all does have the same goal or mindset when it comes into their investment. Just be careful on not to be dragged by your greed when it comes to your decisions because this would definitely be the reason for you to commit mistakes. Now that the market is mooning then for day active traders then its the best part to secure profits now. |

I can do well in both. But I guess it depends on my general mood. Sometimes I want to be left alone playing my favorite games. Sometimes I also want to play with a crowd. Nice try in promoting that signal provider but I don't think it's necessary for the traders to have a trading signal service. First of all they wouldn't be able to gain experience or knowledge to that signal provider also in practice you can control your emotions so it would not affect your trading strategy.
Signal providers are for the most part useless and it is not difficult to know why, if someone knew what the market was going to do then he could trade his own signals and make money that way, and in the case he was lacking money then all what he will need to do is to manage the money off other people with a lot of money and make money that way too, as you can see selling signals makes no sense and yet there are many people that still think that is their path to success. People does have wrong perception towards these signals and as you mentioned where they do believe that this is indeed the path to success but actually those traders are actually trying to milk out some money to other people by giving off those analysis which are actually can be done by you on your own without the need on paying up someone for that. All you do need is your own time and discipline plus your own effort on making trades.You wont need those signals or groups yet everything can be learned via online. If you arent really that lazy then you would really enhance yourself in no time. Im also a self-taught trader.Yeah its hard but its attainable. |

Unfortunately, if the campaign has been working for many decades, it does not guarantee that it will never fall into crisis. I'm sure that the management has done everything possible to prevent layoffs, but it's not always possible to do so. Besides, one shouldn't forget that any purpose of a commercial campaign is to make profit and it's impossible to work at a loss for a long time just to save jobs.
No business on this world would really able to sustain if it do continue to run with losses and its just dumb for them to continue even if they do know that they arent gaining anything. Lets say that owners doesnt really like to lay off their workers but you wont really be leaving on having some options but to release of them if you do like to continue your business or wont become bankrupt but if you do insist on keeping your workers just because you do mind of them then expect on what would be the exchange. This is how reality works. I understand this very well, because such situations are not rare now around the world, including in my country. Many campaigns are forced to make decisions to downsize their staff because of the pandemic and the economic difficulties it has caused. Somebody does it just to save costs, such campaigns I do not respect. But there are also campaigns that need to fire employees in order for these campaigns to survive. There would be sacrifices in short but to think that firing employees to let the campaign survive then its no different to those who do just for them to save cost.It wont sustainable if they would continue or decide to go further.Its just not a brainer for making such decisions even though its hard for some part but it is really needed to be done.The economy had been hit badly by this pandemic and businesses now are doing all sorts of ways or methods for them not to have that total closure.We do value our workers but is theres something you can do if it do put up your company into such risk? |

The election is going to have a lot of impact in the price of bitcoin. With the economy recovering under Biden administration, we will be seeing the price of US dollar rising. It has never been this low compared to past few years before trump administration! Also, Trump delayed the stimulus package and was supposed to be distributed after the election. With Biden presidency, we are expecting to receive it anytime soon (trump has yet to concede though). The stimulus might encourage people to invest more in bitcoin.
And we expect the stocks to start rallying and bitcoin might also start doing the same. These are expectations and hope you have on the new president but lets wait and see how they can help the market or whether they will be successful in helping the economy recover. I have my doubts whether that can be done anytime soon and stimulus package alone will not help anything. Give them a few more months and we will see how his policies will affect the market. It takes time to be able to see both the performance and policies that will be implemented by Biden in the future, of course this will also have a little impact on bitcoin price movements. Because it is possible that it will have an impact on the USD price which can have an effect on bitcoin later. Does USD value or rate will really that give effect? I dont think so. Bitcoin can move its own without relying into those sentiments.Talking about on Bidens possible changes or policies then it doesnt really matter because no matter what where any political things cant really affect heavily into cryptospace.They can give out their own insights or views towards crypto but it wont mean a thing. I don't recommend for anybody to replace their stocks with cryptos. It's always the best to have them both. But for someone that likes to take risk more than I could, I'm good to crypto only combination.
I have other traditional investments but not with stocks anymore. But if somebody decides to go all for crypto, he has to make sure that he knows what he do.
We do always have that common investment line; "Dont put all your eggs in one basket" This is why i do always consider on putting up some funds in stocks and at the same time i do put also in forex and then lastly is on crypto. It might quite be a stressful thing yet handling multiple investments isnt easy as it sounds.Why would need to replaced if you can engage with both? |

When you are planning to build a system then its never been ideal to copy that had already existed because people here on this forum are really keen on looking for something similar or being copied and once they do spot out then that will surely give that negative impression because copying is always isnt an appealing thing in the eyes. Actually it's not a standard price for certain pair in all the exchanges.Because the price of all the cryptocurrency is based on the market demand and not based on the exchanges.In the exchanges like binance, we can get a good price for any pair because due to the huge traders using to inverse their money. The will be a competition between the buyers and it's easy to get good price for the pairs. To think that there would be no competition if the price of those pair would be just the same in all sorts of platforms and as mentioned it will vary on each exchange yet it all matters with the liquidity and volume.They wont really be on huge gap though because of possible arbitrage thing and its a rare case to happen. They differ but only on minimal as possible. |

The Philippine government made some changes in response to the lockdown, as they approved land based casino's to accept online bet. I'm not really sure how this could be implemented though, but this is a good news for Filipino. I myself received a text message from one of them, City of Dreams, that their casino are already open and you can play and bring one companion. But I haven't try it though, I don't want to take risks, but it they allowed to accepts bets online then it will be good.
What are your thoughts on this?
My first time on hearing out that land-based casinos do accept online bets which i dont expect for them to take this measure which is somewhat understandable due to losses that had been given by this pandemic situation.The question is on how these things set-up? Story is as follows:
I wanted to invest little amount of ether.
Came across few projects, shortlisted two, dmst and padthai finance ("defi craze")
For some stupid reason I decided to go with padthai finance which exit scammed shortly after. I don't care about investment there because it was miniscule amount of ether (0.2)
Regret is, Dmst was at $0.0006 at that time and today it's trading at 3 cents, that's 50x. My 0.2 eth would be 10 eth!!!
I went to the project which had anonymous dev (I had enough of them actually but I blinded myself with greed), or at least I should of put some in both of them, so my regret wouldn't have been this big...
I'm really pissed on myself
Mistakes like these were common because we cant really be sure on what project would really take off its price and which one would end up on becoming a complete shit token. I have several experience yet wayback ive been a fan on buying some coins with low cap where i do always had that hope for some pump to make some serious profits. Some coins did pump but majority of them didnt able to make a move and eventually die which in result in loss of money.Regret will be always in the end and telling lots of IF's but theres no way to go back yet damage had been done.Thing here is to accept and move on and be careful on next times selection. |

What is very difficult in all of what you have posted here is to never chase your losses, what I notice to most of the gamblers either they are new or old gamblers is that they became hot after they are lossing and they will not stop until they cannot recover their losses.
That is because they are betting too big to be relaxed within their mind. Imagine if you have a balance of 1 bitcoin and you are betting 0.0001 BTC on sports would you be tempted at all chasing the loss? Never! That is because you know you have enough in the balance and you can bet tomorrow. Now similar instance when you have 0.01 BTC balance and you lose 0.005 in some sports bets now you would be so hyper and tensed that you will without even realizing lose the remaining balance in chasing those loses. Limiting your betting amounts can help control chasing of the loses because when you are chasing loses that means you either bet too big or you cannot accept loses in life which is a terrible behavior. It is actually familiar to how some traders will sell their coins at cheap prices to avoid absolute loss while some will stay arrogant and lose everything just in hope to recover it all. This is why the size of your bets needs to be very small, because in the case your bet size is too high and then you lose a bet that you thought was already won at the last second of a match in the case you were making a sports bet then you are going to feel cheated and you will want to get that money back, and as we know the moment you get those feelings that is when the casino has you since you are likely to make a reckless bet and lose all your money because of it. You would surely go all in because you do let your emotion control you and the anger you've felt and ive been on that situation for several times already based on experience where you do believe that certain bet is winning and suddenly the situation turns upside down which in result into a loss then that will create some frustration and if you arent really good on handling out your emotion then you will end up on this expected outcome.Lucky if you do able to win the next bet but if not then you have just totally bust up your entire bankroll which it isnt part of good bankroll management. Always control your temper since this is one of they factors can messed out your plan. |

I never tried it before I would rather have fun playing it on gambling site than wait for the result on ponzi scheme.
Why waste time and money on Ponzi schemes when we could do it quicker in gambling and we could enjoy it too.
I broadly agree to this as the emotions and feelings attached to our money and our own made bets are much more than waiting on someone to put the money in and the scammer sends us the money and keeps it going on till he gets out of funds, then everything over. At least we do not feel that bad when we lose our money because of our bad bet in gambling, but giving it straight away in the hands of a scammer feels like we are fools. When it comes to emotion and the feels then its totally different and as you mentioned where it is worth to lose money when you do make out bets and you know that you do have the chance of winning in a legal way not on just making out some gambling of your funds into those things that you know that it is purely a scam or ponzi.You can still make money though but not on the sense that you are enjoying or betting up into something yet you do just need to wait and viola heres your payout kind of experience. Some do still consider on this kind of risk taking but not all becomes successful into this one.You are indeed playing with fire which it isnt really worth for your money. |

No matter why, it is already going up again. I suppose this was nothing but a little correction. Not going a little sideways would be more worrying for me than spiking like in late 2017 and then coming back to a bear market for three years  I hope this is just a bear trap and we keep on going up, but without any hurry. We are hitting almost 16k as of now which people who do say that it is dumping then its just been part of having those corrections which is normal. The important here is that its price is trying to rise up again now.We cant even sure if it would head to 17k after it breaks 16k level and thats an important thing.Dont mind on the dumps as long you do able to sell up on the right price and then buyback when its corrects.People do should mind on how to make use of those movements to make money. |

I'm not surprised about it anymore since it did happen already before since the start of lockdown due to the pandemic. I think this is the only way that casino owner wants to minimize the losing of money since there are strict rules implemented that there should not a mass gathering. I don't think it only happens in casino workers because everyone was affected by this new normal so almost every businesses you know and see are all affected with this kind of problem.
Correct. This doesnt limit out only with gambling industry but also in other businesses as well on where they do need to remove some of its employees to reduce up the cost of expense of paying up salary. They would really need to balance up everything if they do see that they are profiting somehow then they wont make such action but if they do saw that they are on negatives then this would be the case that will happen.Its sad reality but business do needs to profit and they would take actions that will really get rid of that problem and for them able to survive. |
