3901  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: July 14, 2020, 01:11:21 PM
Bitcoin has decreased significantly within last days. In some of the local group I am active, some people are trying to sell their Bitcoin, some are looking for what's happening and it seems to be little panic here.
If the price continue to decrease, I think it will create more panic which will bring capitulation, will not it?
I recommend using trading bots for trading on cryptocurrency exchanges, since it is almost impossible to predict the BTC rate.

Impossible to predict but if you are careful with your trades then provably you will earn with it but if you trade with no proper thinking or lets just say you are greedy then I think you will lose the capital for your trade and although trading bots is helpful in short term still doesn't give any guarantee to you to continuously earn and I prefer to do manual since I can study the market on what path it will go today.
3902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 13, 2020, 11:11:40 PM
It's not that easy for all physical sports to resume because the current set up of the NBA is very expensive, and if PBA would follow that, they can, because they are a big and profitable organization but for other league, there's no assurance.

Imagine how expensive to rent a venue where at the same time all the players will also live there just to ensure they will not have contact with outsiders even their families. That would cost millions  of pesos and other sports are not that popular, so where would they get their revenue to match the expenses?

At first i thought that the PBA will follow the set-up of NBA in their games resumption but as i have read the article, it's not. It's just like an individual working in a company then go straight back home, for me it's still dangerous. I hope the "every 10 days" testing will help in the safety of all the individuals involved.

I understand that they can't emulate the NBA bubble because it's so expensive but i hope they can isolate even the players only in a dormitory with their families for a certain period of time.

NBA wanted to make sure that after the resume nothing will stop them to play, the very reason why they've gathered to a single
location and make sure that everyone will avoid being contained. Regarding to PBA, it's not easy to do the same, budget wise it
will be a big issue as the league can't provide the same setup. It's not safe as it is, once a player  or anyone who's part of the team
get infected the chance to spread is really high.

PBA can for sure afford that as some of the team owners like the TNT and SMB belongs to the richest persons in the Philippines. So I don't think there's a problem if they will follow the format of the NBA, if they really love their job and they love to entertain the fans, they will find a way to make the resumption possible by getting an approval as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, for those who have not followed JMF, you can check in the article below, he already has a gaming channel.

From on-court competitiveness to good vibes gaming: June Mar opens streaming channel

It's business and if they take a profit for their actions for sure they will make it happen, they should follow the nba format if they want to make things happen in the league.

I also follow junemar on his channel and he's quite entertaining, it's good for him to have a quality time while he is on recovery phase.

Hope to see him back in action.
3903  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will a BTC bull market begin in July? on: July 13, 2020, 01:09:13 PM
The first week has passed in the third quarter and the fact is that the market is still difficult to bullish despite a series of predictions saying that a pump might occur but in reality it still isn't really happening and what happens is only a temporary recovery and the uptrend is still unpredictable and difficult for the market to get a bullish trend in the near future.
you are right. however, right now the opportunity is still worth waiting for. even though week 2 will be over soon, it could be that the increase occurs in week 3 or 4, we don't know for sure about that. for now, we should focus on increasing the assets we have. Well, to be honest, I only hope that the price of bitcoin can reach $ 10k this month.

Hopefully we acquired that price since it's a confidence booster for the people and a little piece of appealing sight to see for those people who's new for this things and provably we will get a certain of adoption since many people find ways to earn while we are in the state of crisis. For now we should really focus on how to  increase our assets so that by the time bitcoins pump we will earn even more bigger.
3904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend your cryptocurrencies? on: July 13, 2020, 11:54:00 AM
I will find it hard to lend my cryptocurrency in an online platform. That is not the kind of risk I can take. Not for now. There is so much happenings that can lead to loss of your crypto on lending platforms.  Very risky! Those lending platforms can be legit today, and tomorrow they become not legit. You never what to expect. Offline lending is less risky though.

Would be hard for me as well to risk that amount of the crypto to lend because either you have a backup capital where you would be able to have money even in case you lose it which I do not have it. So in such circumstances will be happy to hold it myself or sell it whenever the need be rather than risking it to unkown person.
Indeed, that is very risky especially dealing with random people on the internet and you didn't know personally.
It's not hard to lend your crypto if you know who's borrowing this, just like in our local section that we have a lending thread exclusively for the Pilipino community and of course non-collateral if your account is trusted enough or in Lending board open for all forum members but at least it depends again to the borrowers.

Though it's risky there are various ways you can minimize your risk if you really want to.

It's been discourage to deal with anonymous people especially on internet and this is been discourage to anyone that's why some lenders is always advice to acquire a valuable collateral to their borrowers, I somehow impressed with people taking the risk like those people on our local board where they trust people with their money but they should put a limit and don't lend any big amount since anyone will run especially if they can't paid their borrowed money in the scheduled timeline.
3905  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠️CASINEOS.COM | Blockchain Powered Betting | Crypto Casino and Sportsbook🥊🏀🎲 on: July 13, 2020, 10:49:55 AM
I have started playing on the site with free Play token on the sites. When you first make an account they give you free 100 PLAY tokens. I want to know if these can be converted to bitcoins anytime and how often can we claim these free tokens ?

Welcome  Smiley there is no set value for play tokens at this time. You can request 100 per day to test the website and play the games for free. A higher play token balance might help improve your chances of winning free competitions with real prizes.

You have no games that can attract players, no one will play with you

Are you sure? so do you think it's good to give an early judgement when the site is new? Do you really think all successful sites didn't came to these point? Well maybe you have a point if they act like shit and nothing to offer to their players but since they are new and they already have a signature campaign for their marketing I'm sure that there are further developments will happen in future so best to wait for that to come if you don't feel to play right now.
3906  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will we stand at the end of pandemic? on: July 12, 2020, 11:57:03 PM
As of now crypto is surviving this harsh period wherein we have seen Bitcoin doing better han expected and same goes with altcoins as well but where will we find ourself at the end of pandemic? If the situation worsens do you think we will get more investment from newbies who might by switching from their traditional investment to a crypto as none of the businesses are going to prosper during this situation so there are chances we will get more investment into crypto or else there are possibilities of massive cashout if crypto decline as the existing players would switch to gold atleast to keep their investment intact.

Kindly share your suggestions

I cannot say that we can get those things since it depends on the changes of things since for sure the other companies will adopt the digital scene and I see so any of them in my country right now. But this assumptions will came true if we will have a good introduction or advertisement from this industry since if bitcoins will introduced well to the newbies and make them understand on how it works on other ventures for sure we will get the adoption we wanted.

Plus, I also think that TV 5 might go back to its old format where they will have some teleserye since there are a lot of artist now that are looking for a job and that would benefit the TV 5 to grow as a network.

On the other hand, we have some news also.

PBA to seek IATF clearance for August return to scrimmages

as expected, PBA is looking at the standards applied in the NBA.

Quote
Aside from making its own protocols, Marcial also wants to see if it can pattern the health standards that the NBA will be doing in its restart of the 2019-2020 season come next month in Orlando, Florida.

They should really look up to the biggest league in the world since if the NBA will fail to apply those health and safety standards then they will shut their season and PBA should follow that for their own good, there are so many seasons came and to risk the players life just for the business is not good gesture to see, but anyways lets hope for the best and hopefully there will be no bad things gonna happen when the games resume.

With proper measures in place and it will be followed, I don't think it will result to a problem.
For these players, we are not talking of risking lives because they have a good immune system and I have never read anything yet that an NBA player died because of the covid-19, all of those who got infected in the past have already recovered like Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz.

Also, the NBA organization would never plan to apply for the resumption if it's that serious to cause lives,  and of course the government would not approve it.

We don't know what will be the outcome since we can't see the enemy and any counter action with another person still a huge risk but hopefully the organizer can manage to with hold those risk to all and they will success on their plans and strategies to make a successful comeback. If they success on this for sure other physical contact sports will resume and that would be fun to see.
3908  Economy / Economics / Re: Rise in US unemployment. Thoughts? on: July 12, 2020, 10:28:36 PM
It was a big struggle and headache for all the leaders in every country who have been facing the killing virus this time. It was just to say that the US isn't the only country that suffered the most as their unemployment rate increase but also from the others. We know how important to protect the economic status of our country but much more difficult if we just ignore the spread of the virus and just sacrifice the life of the people. The declining growth of the economy in almost all country have urge to cut some employees and bringing to that scenario. That was really hard but nothing to do it because it was also a big loss for the company if they still accommodate their workers.

Many country suffers but the main focus is on America since they have the most numbers of cases plus some of their citizens are not listening and following the protocols given by the government so expect that they will struggle if all will not cooperate. I have seen so many videos about self entitled people that they doesn't want to get quarantine and if this continue I expect that their economy will be much affected and the continuous numbers of unemployed will rise.

3910  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain gambling is booming on: July 10, 2020, 10:26:44 AM
the entire online sector has boomed, from food to entertaintment (netflix and similar)
if you also think amazon has had a significant increase of share from 2500 to $ 3000!!

is big grow in less time!

this helps open casinos to non-technical managers/people
I agree with Boss, many crypto platforms had grown from zero to success, adoption and application. Many crypto users is addicted to gambling, gaming with money for doubling up their capitals and portfolios within a second. So I see more way paving in for blockchain gambling platforms.
But everyone will not feel the success there are also people who have bad luck when they try to multiply their money to play gambling, and finally they have to lose their money by just a second, and I often look for solutions to minimize risk until now I do not find it

Those are greedy peoples and people have different level of patience that's why we see so many losers from newbie side since they always think about winning and accumulating more money from gambling, also I think the most effective way to minimize the lose is to know on when to stop since if you control yourself on doing that then provably winnings are high than losing.
3911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why hasn’t Bitcoin’s price skyrocketed? on: July 09, 2020, 12:00:51 PM
I'm sure you know how to read news right? We are facing a huge crisis by now and many people lose their job so expect that we will not see a skyrocketing price right now since many people cannot able to buy some bitcoins, and this is simple explanation so for sure you can weight those many reasons happening in the world. Maybe you are expecting to much on it by now but you should also consider the factors since bitcoin model is not design to go up always it's not a ponzi coin.
3912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: July 09, 2020, 10:03:31 AM
In my opinion both the slots or dice have advantages and disadvantages, so it can't be compared which one is better. Because everyone has their
own tastes. Even slots and dice if done continuously will suffer losses in the end. Both include gambling that requires luck, so don't recommend
playing excessive slots and dice. If it's already profit better stop playing, because if it continues will lose money.
Exactly. Slots and dice will have its fan, and they prefer to play their favourite gambling games. Both games are gambling games based on luck, so I think it will not easy to win in every round. Both gambling games are attractive, and the games can lead people to spend more money just to try to win the games. But in the end, if they don't realize the chance to win, they will lose all of their money, and if that is happening, it will hard to recover the money.

This is given already and players knows the risk about the game which based on luck. I think it add more excitement for some gamblers since they will be excite for the upcoming result since all is random with those games, but honestly speaking we can't compare both since they have different features as well gamblers have different approach on it.
3913  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will a BTC bull market begin in July? on: July 09, 2020, 08:25:36 AM
The price of Bitcoin was hovering around $10,000 in February before the coronavirus pandemic led to the U.S. stock market to correct sharply. At that time, analysts expected BTC to pull back as the price had also rejected at $10,500 which is a pivotal resistance level.

Surprisingly, Bitcoin price dropped rapidly as it fell below $6,000, ultimately dropping to a yearly low at $3,600 on BitMEX. This caused mayhem in the cryptocurrency market as more than $1 billion worth of leveraged positions were liquidated.

According to Woo, Bitcoin was positioned for a bull market before the coronavirus pandemic affected nearly all risk-on markets. Woo’s new model, which accurately marked the start of four previous bull runs, indicates Bitcoin is preparing for another uptrend in the near-term.

Quote

How do you think?
there is something Good happens since yesterday mate.

from almost drowning to fall in $8,000 level yet it Bounced back and starts to climb to almost $9,500 last night.

This means maybe your post is correct the July is the start of new beginning .

There are so much waiting that coming around  yet nothing goes favoring us so Lets Hope that this time it's for real and Bull coming sooner.

And stabilize to that level and which is good for the current happening but I don't see any point that we can go huge for this month since we don't know on how this thing will happen but lets keep the faith harder since even if there's a negative things happening in the world still the price of bitcoins still on positive side. Really looking forward to see a bull run and hopefully it will happen soon.
3914  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: July 08, 2020, 11:14:39 PM
I think the only understandable and logical reason why they are not making any competition right now that they are not really making too much profit which means they are not at a place where they can give too much neither and in case the competition causes them to lose money, it would not really be in their power to pay it.

You guys may think that all casinos are raking in too much profit but in reality even if you have a decent amount of revenue, there is huge costs to just own a casino and not even anything extra, between all the legal expenses to all salaries, they are in big debt every month and revenue barely covers it for many places. So maybe bitdice is like that? They do not have enough money to make a competition? That seems like a reasonable and understandable thing.
Bitdice isn't new casino and not an unknown one. They have been here for a long time and I want to remind you that they run a signature campaign here for years and pay decent money. This casino had high pretty high rollers in past, it was like quality over quantity. I hugely doubt they lack capital to run different kind of promotions. In overall casinos run promotions to get more profit and to attract more players and if they lack this as you say, then running a promotion is a way to go for them.

The question is why things goes slow on their side? Many gamblers want to see them on action and for having this kind of slow attitude for the owners will make people bored they should consider that casinos are slowly evolving and many has offered a good promotion so it will be their loss if they let their competitors do a good job while them waiting for players to play on them. I really keep looking for more with bitdice since as you said they are old one who got reputation already but that's not enough for gamblers to cope up.
3915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines SEC warns against crypto investment. on: July 08, 2020, 01:04:04 PM
The Philippine SEC warned those who were involved in crypto schemes could face a fine or 21 years of imprisonment or both."[/i]
is this also applied to those who trade crypto there?
if yes, this is very bad. then crypto will be completely illegal there.
What I think the SEC are doing is fighting against those ponzi schemes around the country of Philippine. According to the news: some cryptocurrency schemes were found which seem not recognized be the SEC hence  their caution to her citizens. And anybody find involving into those ponzi schemes stand the risk of facing 21 year imprisonment. This is good, SEC warning ahead for those who have interest to scam country men should be guided and be careful not to end in prison. There are many ponzi schemes on the internet today, and many government paid deaf ears as there citizens get scam everyday, kudos to Philippines SEC for a head-up.

It will be good if there's someone promoting it will be jailed for their promotions of this ponzi scheme site since even if the sec already released a huge warnings to those people still they didn't get afraid and still posting the scam site on social medias, so for this to be stopped this they should put a metal hands and imprison those offenders, for sure once this platform will run many people will cry out loud for the money what they lose to them.
3916  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is most likely the reason why Bitcoin has been less volatile lately on: July 08, 2020, 10:42:17 AM

It means we will slowly correct to 6k area. I am still holding my short position. I can't be sure this is a ABCDE pattern, I still see 3k as possible, anyway 2022-2023 should be very good for the bulls  Kiss I might even lose my bet in 2021  Undecided

Good luck to your short position, but be prepared to cover in my opinion. Weak hands have left, the strong hands are HODLING. The whalecumulators can't manipulate the players of the current market. Cool

Right weak handed persons are getting panic easier when they see some little downside in one moment but I am still positive in my position that we will see something great when 2021 came and I believe by that time we will shoot up since I think the crisis will done together with the effect of the halving will take placed. And for sure whales are now taking their positions for long term purposes at this time.
3917  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we rely on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: July 08, 2020, 09:16:52 AM
We are fully aware that the whole world now is combatting the war of the unknown, or this Covid-19 that cannot be seen but killed nearly a million of people across the globe. And we are in this battle for over half a year now, but still, the Cure is so hard to be found. So devastating as it was, as the losses rises each day in all kinds as often mentioned.

Sadly, we do not know yet, when all this chaos be over.

For some individuals working in Cryptoworld like me, can we rely on Bitcoin to sustain our needs and help prevent the economy collapse as this Pandemic continues?
As I've just heard from the news, there's a new swine flu disease which is a threat discovered in China again 😢 and has a Pandemic potential that the experts need to keep eye on.
There are ways that we can rely on bitcoin, but I don’t really know about this helping to rebuild the economy Undecided. But I know for sure that bitcoin can help in contactless transaction so that there wouldn’t be more cases of people spreading the virus by touching and using paper money. Apart from that bitcoin can help companies work remotely and they can employ people from around the world and pay them using bitcoin.

That's how good bitcoin is since it can make us transfer money from anywhere without touching people nor any solid object which have any contact from the other person, But this is different story if we talk about relying to earn a living with this since this could give a 2 different scenario, If we just rely on the jobs here for sure we can't assure on what will happen in the future since there are so many treats that can make the bitcoins price fall and for sure we will get affected on it if we will experience a huge fall. But if we create a good business where people can easily adopt and use our service provided then provably we can rely on it since the potential income is big and we can explore more for another ventures.
3918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still enjoy the anonymity in gambling in the long run? on: July 07, 2020, 11:54:38 PM
What we are enjoy now is an "anonymous gambling" is very satisfying to us, but will it be in danger when the market is fully regulated?

Fully regulation doesn't mean gambling sites will have to mandatory required KYC. It's just for surpassing an account limit or those who are subject to investigation.

I'm sure gambling sites will remain on their current setup for several years to come. It's hard to believe right now that they will mandatorily ask for KYC, even in the future. It's useless to impose it if there's an account that just playing with a lower amount on each of their betting session.

Minors are supposed to be not allowed to join the gambling activities.  This reason alone is enough to implement KYC to every player on the site.  That is when government fully regulates crypto casinos.  It is not how little or how big you wagered or deposit is.  It is about the legality of the player's age to do gambling activities.

For this issues sites really needed to conduct a KYC feature but this is debatable since it's very dangerous for us if scam casino's will require their players to do the KYC procedure and we might gonna face a serious issue if we go on the wrong site. For this its our obligation to watch our children's on what platform or what kind of things they are going thru so that they will not go in the addictive path.
3919  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction 2020 on: July 07, 2020, 10:33:30 PM
Many think about that theory but it doesn't give any facts regarding on everything, those predictions are given for their own benefit and to gain a small period of hype, so if you think about listening on them better do your own diligence and follow what you think its right. Just think of this market flow will never be change by just statements only we need adoption and demand before we can achieve that.
3920  Other / Off-topic / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto has been a colleague of Pablo Escobar! on: July 07, 2020, 12:50:04 PM
What another conspiracy has been created but I don't think people will catch that statement since overall there's no proof has been given and all pure hearsay, But it's good to have that article since it made my day for a short while since its sounds funny for creating a unreliable story out here.

People will believe only if there's someone can make Satoshi out, I mean the real one here not those fake one.
