3901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit Gambling. on: November 06, 2016, 10:03:56 PM
Keep a journal, and try to identify everything that give you the itch to gamble. And then try to eliminate them. If it's sports, then eliminate your TV. If it's stress, then force yourself to take long walks. You get the idea. The longer that you can distract yourself from what gives you the itch, the easier it will be for it to not cross your mind.

It's not an easy task especially if you're involvement in gambling is very deep. It's like removing your soul from your body. This is going to take a long process though. I like the itch part because you're trying to determine the root cause and provide the possible resolution to quit gambling.

When it comes to gambling, pretty much every gambler knows what the root cause is: GAMBLING. It's that we cannot get rich and the 'earn free money easy' idea is stupid and impossible. Nobody would be poor right now if it was for real. I have just spent $3 on gambling and now I regret it. Yes, just $3 but it feels like I lost all I had. Now I have stopped and I will not continue again. However, this was just for the sake of getting entertained somehow.... Looks like it didn't work.
3902  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: November 06, 2016, 09:54:45 PM
Well if there was a method to double safely, people probably made millions out of it already. I would suggest investing in Bitcoin or maybe just learn how to trade and make profit that way.

Going to trade for a hundred thousand bucks... That's VERY risky, bro. It takes only one bad event to take place and just a few bucks for the respective investment to fall and you're down. Creating an innovative business should be way better.
3903  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: November 06, 2016, 09:52:02 PM
The future of paper money is nonexistent. It'll be gone in just a few years because of currencies like Bitcoin and/or payment methods like it. This became now popular on a few websites that are on top which is a good sign for us.
3904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: November 06, 2016, 09:48:46 PM
I think it takes much more time to average results, for example, I m in my third week of investment at Betking and I all I get is peanuts on 3 BTC invested. I made like $3 so far on over $2000 invested. So more detailed and longer series s necessary in order to get to some meaningful conclusion.

And just one person is needed like HufflePuff on PrimeDice that could hack the system and everything is over. This is very risky and brings you very small profits if any.
3905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin without china, how would it look? on: November 06, 2016, 09:45:52 PM
Another country would take their place basically. Someone always has to be #1. The price would go up because no one in the world can produce the same amount of bitcoins as the Chinese unfortunately. They have the right climat for the most part, cheap electricity... What more could you want? The other country taking over the #1 spot would have to be the next best in terms of efficiency.

I think the price would go down, not up. Without the power, Bitcoin will just hold at the quantity it has right now. China having so many residents would also have less people using Bitcoin and working for it, so Bitcoin would be likely less popular right now.
3906  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any other 15 year olds here? on: November 06, 2016, 09:43:28 PM
For 15 year old man working on the Internet today, it is generally as simple simple. I in these years worked in manual labor has not yet become an adult and could not have surrounded his life. On online projects could not even be considered.

Now the 'work' becomes just a simple task we have to do like writing constructive posts on a forum. It's great that we can earn money so easy while making a website popular. I hope there will be new jobs like these soon on which we can make money too.
3907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla's building a solar roof , It can be a good days for bitcoin miners? on: November 06, 2016, 09:39:10 PM
For now it maybe is, but in a few years the required energy will be so high that we will not be able to sustain our energy for free from these solar powered roofs. Even now it might be impossible for some people like big miners. You need a lot of solar panels to run just one PC.
3908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: November 06, 2016, 09:38:06 PM
I do not know why you use Bitcoin lol, but I am using it because of the potential it has. Just thinking that you can easily earn cash by typing a few posts is incredible, with the money you earn from it you can go on a vacation for free somewhere in the world once per year!
3909  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to get started on learning how to trade? on: November 06, 2016, 09:36:43 PM
I am pretty sure you can find these courses in your city, and they might even be free (at least some of them). If you know english well, you can also look for online free courses. However, the best choice is going at a real course where you can ask questions and stuff.
3910  Other / Off-topic / Re: IS UFO or ALIENS are real ? on: November 06, 2016, 10:07:44 AM
i am not sure that aliens exist
The universe at large as much and just comes across interesting and puff in the open, and that if there is clear evidence of the existence of still other intelligent beings, it does not mean that they are not really.

It's a little bit scary to think that we're alone in this whole universe, isn't it? We're so small in such a big, infinite Universe. Nobody actually knows whether aliens exist or not, but if it really is infinite.... Then there are basically an infinity of possibilities around us. They should then exist somewhere, maybe aliens are smaller than we even imagine them to be.
3911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 06, 2016, 09:54:50 AM
The simple fact that people are greedy and that they need easy money is the reason why people are addicted to gambling. We are all lazy people who want to become millionaires but are never ready to work for it. Moreover the gambling sites itself have very enticing advertisement campaigns that make people addicts as well.

It doesn't necessarily mean that we are lazy, but why wouldn't we just follow easy ways to get easy money? We're all humans and we know we need to work hard to get something in life, but if there's an easy way to do that everyone will go for it.
3912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way to buy Bitcoin ? on: November 05, 2016, 10:33:50 PM
If you can find local ATMs that accept Bitcoin, go for that option. If not, you can either look on localbitcoins for some sellers around you or you can find online exchange websites that accept USD or EUR or whatever to BTC.
3913  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: November 05, 2016, 10:31:59 PM
They are saying that bitcoin is dead because they are not using bitcoin at all and if they are going to use it as currency then they can cosidered as trader and they will not saying bitcoin is not really dead this currency is awesome for me and i can really say that i live with bitcoin since im a jobless person.

You are right but some people are saying that bitcoin is dead even they are the users of bitcoin and the reason is that they want that other people sell their bitcoins at a lower price and they can easily buy those bitcoins from them and some people want their altcoins to become the highest value coin.

None of them will happen. These scenarios are just dreams in their minds. Bitcoin will always be on top no matter what, and will probably be the last one to die. It's old enough to be stable now.
3914  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: November 05, 2016, 10:27:30 PM
Bitcoin is digital currency and also one of the commodity like gold. It cannot be replaced with USD, still major countries are not still not accepting bitcoin as one of their option. It will take lot of time to establish a digital currency into physical one.

You mean it'll take a lot of time to replace physical with digital. It will not, because we're getting used to it right now. We have seen how easy it is to complete transactions online and how useful they are. The world is changing at this moment.
3915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin core safe to store all of my bitcoin? on: November 05, 2016, 08:40:45 AM
I recommend you to choose a Bitcoin core or a web based wallet for spendings (low balance) and cold wallets for savings and high amounts. Both Bitcoin cores and cold wallets can be stolen though if there's a thief that knows about Bitcoin. However, there are low chances he'll take some paper and there's low chance he'll even know what Bitcoin is - so it's better than storing on a PC.
3916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whos pumping bitcoin now? on: November 04, 2016, 12:38:27 PM
We all are. Investments are making Bitcoin rise, and it's probably time right now for miners to invest into new rigs, or a millionaire invested in Bitcoin. It needs to grow so it can be held alive.
3917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening to bitcoin ? on: November 04, 2016, 12:36:07 PM
These "cloud mining" websites actually run only on a browser. They give you take GHz and fake, virtual mining rigs which turn into a scam as soon as they get their wanted sum of money. People obviously get into it because it sounds too good to be true.... And unfortunately, it is.
3918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 04, 2016, 12:34:20 PM
of course bitcoin is used extensively for doing illegal trading because it's partially anonymous which help sender and receiver to stay behind the wall and no one knows who transfered money to whom. other people could only know that some amount of bitcoin is transferred for one address to another.

It's not 'extremely' used. That idea gives us, the Bitcoiners a bad look in others eyes because Bitcoin's reputation simply went down from these kinds of ideas. It's used just like the dollar or the euro or any other currency is in illegal activities. The criminals may prefer using anonymous currencies but trust me, Bitcoin isn't always their best option.
3919  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy? on: November 03, 2016, 08:32:51 PM
None of them should be trusted by us. They've all been liars and now America is choosing between two bad scenarios, trying to figure out which is worse. For how many decades have we been saying the same thing every 4 years? It will never change. The corruption will be present just anywhere around us like it is right now.
3920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: November 03, 2016, 08:30:29 PM
Just hold it and enjoy the profit in the future. Pretty simple but it's effective.

Ask them if you have doubt on my statement.

But this is for long or very long terms, like years. Hacks or stuff like that can also happen bringing down Bitcoin's price, we'd get scared and withdraw our money. I'm trying to hold my Bitcoins but it's a bad idea when you think that you got to wait years for it to go up, and you don't even know if it will.
