3901  Economy / Speculation / Re: Samsung Galaxy S9 will be able to clear the Crypto currency. on: March 01, 2018, 09:31:39 AM
Even though what they claim is true about the new Samsung Exynos 9810 chipset which is 40% more faster compared to last year's model I don't think it is powerful to mine cryptocurrencies. The Galaxy S9 is a 850$ flasgship phone which is more expensive compared to a gtx 1080 graphics card. If you are really thinking about mining I would rather buy a dedicated gpu instead of a expensive device.
3902  Economy / Economics / Re: Debt and Crypto? on: March 01, 2018, 07:46:36 AM
I don't think that cryptocurrency being used as a payment for debt a good idea because first of all it is volatile. Anyone owing Bitcoin is at an disadvantage they might be paying more in the next month compared to what they have previously paid. Also there are no possible scenarios where Bitcoin will become an official debt instrument as our own respective fiat currency is protected by law. For me personally I would rather owe something based on Fiat currency rather than be paying Bitcoin back for something.
3903  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-28] J.P Morgan Sees Crypto As ‘Competition’ And ‘Risk’ To Its Business on: March 01, 2018, 05:50:55 AM
Honestly I think this is a good news. It is the first time I am seeing a business is competing on a payment system that is not being handled by any company. The competition will obviously make the fees of their services be competitive with what the cryptocurrencies are offering. If the threat to banks or other related financial institution are real then we might be seeing good rates including their interest rates as well as other financing services. This will start to make greedy people a run for their money and they can't do anything to stop cryptocurrencies.
3904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crash Incoming on: March 01, 2018, 04:32:10 AM
Guys, BTC will crash hard in the next 2-3 days. All the signs are there if you know where to look.

Gonna crash hard, dead cat bounce, hit bottom, then to the moon. All in the next 7-10 days.

You have no reason to believe me, but I'm hoping someone will and not lose their ass.

That is all. Good luck to all.

P.S. And no, not going into more deal, half because it'd be a waste of time and fall on deaf ears, half because it wouldn't be a waste of time, wouldn't fall on deaf ears, but still nobody would take action.
Can you please let me understand the sequence of your events. As from what I understand you have predicted Bitcoin crashing "hard" in the next 2-3 days but the next paragraph you are predicting that it will crash in the mext 7-10 days. With that being said you are expecting Bitcoin's crash to have another crash. If you have explaoned and gave more information I would have believe you or give you a healthy argument with your prediction.
3905  Economy / Economics / Re: As long as you convert your crypto to fiat, we will never go mass adoption on: February 28, 2018, 04:35:11 PM
I appreciate your enthusiasm and support to cryptocurrency but I don't think your argument is valid. What if you are in a restaurant where you will now pay a bill and  you later find out Bitcoin is not accepted? Simply refusing won't change the fact that you still need to pay for your food. I know it is putting us in a hard position but converting Bitcoin to Fiat is one of the easiest fix out their. We just need to be patient as even the business establishments are noticing Bitcoin as a mode of payment.
3906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin As a subject in school on: February 28, 2018, 12:01:49 PM
I am not against the idea but I don't think it will become one of the main subjects for the students, it can be an elective or an optional course. Even if you look at the current status of our school education you won't be seeing Stock investing or trading being offered as a subject even on a higher level of education. So why not just generalize it make a subject about investing or financial planning as it will be more useful for the kids to have a subject like that, closing them only to cryptocurrency is not a good idea as their are many ways for them to earn money outside from it.
3907  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin still in a strong downtrend ? on: February 28, 2018, 09:41:51 AM
I cannot say it is a strong down trend as obviously it is trying to re-test the 12,000$ level but with the prices going down I can say that the whales are not letting the prices to go up just yet as I don't think that their accumulation is still finish. Also looking at how people wanted to see Bitcoin below 9,000$ again which didn't happen made me think that we will be going on a up trend very soon. We still need to observe the prices as a lot of movements can still happen.
3908  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-26] 99% Hackers Eye On Cryptocurrency: We Never Buy It, We Steal It on: February 28, 2018, 07:57:13 AM
I don't think that 99% is an accurate number but I do agree that a lot of hackers will be focusing on cryptocurrency now. With the suddent growth in attention for cryptocurrencies and the way they need internet for the majority of the transaction it will come to no surprise that criminals will take advantage of it. As their are a lot of vulnerabilities which a criminal can exploit. From HYIP to phishing sites and even key loggers there are many threats where they can still our money.

what about the loyalty of the clients ?
Every type of business values clients who are loyal to them, because loyal clients means continued patronage of their business, continued patronage of their business means money will continue to flow. However, for faucet farmers, that's a different case because no money will come in since its they are playing with free money from the site. I hope you case is different and hoping for a quick resolution.

They won't be banning your free claims on your faucet if you are also giving back to Bitsler, and when I say giving back you are also depositing your own money when you are playing with Bitsler, if you have been loyal to Bitsler without even depositing your own money I don't think we can call it fair as you are abusing the feature of it. Let see if your issue with Bitsler will be resolve.
3910  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks admit they fear BTC on: February 27, 2018, 02:47:25 PM
It is just one Central Bank of a country, it has not proven anything. After all what they have been showing in their youtube video is all true and nothing exaggerated has been shown. For me it doesn't look like a video which purposely attack Bitcoin. But to me it is a video which serves as a warning for their citizens on using cryptocurrency. Looking at how the guy didn't have fiat currency which resulted for his date to pay is an embarrassing thing to see, which could be a reality in Poland where only a few business establishments are accepting Bitcoin.
3911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: VeChain, still super undervalued on: February 27, 2018, 09:05:22 AM
They are working very hard for the project. The rumors will be revealed. If a big company or partnership, happens, vechain can go up to $ 15 and become one of the biggest coins.
I suggest you follow up and invest Smiley

I think VEN can go even to 20-25$ with market cap over 10 billion $, in a year or two. The project is lead by the people with large experience in management, and business relations. I wish i've known about VEN some time earlier, when it was 0.5$, even now the coin is very attractive in price, and i think it's a great addition to your portfolio for mid/long term investment.
VeChain is now currently around 5.5$ and a target price of 20-25$ seems to be achievable even in just a midterm period I want to pick up this stock not only because of the hype surrounding it but because of the support and also its partnership. The only thing I want is to time my entry as I think 5.5$ is a little big to go an early entry. Hoping to see a dip in order to buy more.
3912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin backed down on: February 27, 2018, 03:54:15 AM
We could not simply be able to predict the foreseeable future of Bitcoin but I don't think it will die. With the current growth and demand that Bitcoin is having I don't think that it will die in the near future.  It's quite often we see these kinds of "worried" post when Bitcoin's price is going down but we should not be a part of it as if you have a trading plan you wouldn't be worried at all. I can say with confidence that Bitcoin will last for a very long time.
3913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: saving $ 1000 / month should I invest in bitcoin? on: February 26, 2018, 04:54:43 PM
The question is will you be able to monitor your investment with a full time job? Or will it be a distraction if you start trading cryptocurrencies? Even if cryptocurrency trading works 24/7 you can't still miss out important price movements during the 8 hours you are concentrated in your job. My advice is for you to test it out first as some people say trading plus a full time job doesn't quite work well together and they need to give up one. You should be the one to answer your question if you are capable of risking your savings in trading.
3914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is hodling alts dangerous? on: February 26, 2018, 03:09:48 PM
Holding Altcoins is not dangerous. What is dangerous is buying one without proper knowledge and planning. It all really depends on the holder as he is the one who has the ability to go in and pull out of the cryptocurrencies. Of course all cryptocurrencies are volatile and therefore are risky, if a novice trader is trying to execute a trade without proper knowledge then the risk of losing money is higher with him.
3915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just a speculative asset, not money? on: February 26, 2018, 01:33:56 PM
So if the U.S. Dollar became too volatile or unstable it will not be considered as money by their own people? Will it also be called as an speculative asset just like what you said? Its volatility does not affect its functions as a currency, the sad thing about it is Bitcoin being decentralized a lot of people are taking advantage to take profit from it and is overshadowing its use as a currency. But now all things are looking good for Bitcoin lately I can have high and reliable transaction speeds with just 14,000 Satoshis of network fees which is really cheap. Now it is more appealing to use Bitcoin as a currency hopefully this will be a start to businesses to accept Bitcoin again.
3916  Economy / Economics / Re: is there any economic effect for the country or bitcoin users on: February 26, 2018, 11:40:50 AM
It will depend if that country has a considerable amount of Bitcoin owners particularly to the ones earning it. But I don't think that is the main problem as I don't see a lot of countries where Bitcoin is being banned, all we have up to know is misinformation. Countries like China and India almost always have news about banning Bitcoin completely which isn't true. Some countries like India only ban Bitcoin as a mode of payment but other things such as mining and trading are not, with the ability to earn through cryptocurrency I don't think it will affect the economy of a country in a bad way.
3917  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-26] Amelie Arras Prepares to Defend Bitcoin's Title at Money 20/20 Asia on: February 26, 2018, 07:18:11 AM
I am not well aware of their mechanics but if they will compete different types of of payment methods and other modes of payment then I don't think it will be a fair challenge to all as it is not based on real life uses and the challenges are set up by the even organizer they might even made challenges that are meant to be one sided in which Bitcoin won't win, the payment race should be fair to all or at least make it in real life where a person must travel going to a specified destination using their only mode of payment.
3918  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How do I avoid tax on crypto on: February 25, 2018, 12:17:39 PM
It's not about being slave. It's about being within the system and that is in existence and still being profitable. If I try to be rebellious, the government will simply put me behind the bars. It's too hard for an individual to go against government. Instead it is always better to find a solution. I pay taxes from my profits and keep the rest of it. Both are happy. That should be the conclusion. Government is certainly not taking up 100% of my profits as taxes. It will be a certain percentage and I get to keep the maximum portion of it. That's it! The way you are pointing towards things, it will make 100% of the world population looks like slaves only.

What if the both aren't happy, because I'm not happy sharing half of my profits with a leech that isn't helping me earn it in any way.
Following your logic if a mosquito sits on your hand you should let it drink. It's not hurting you much, he's not taking 100%, right? It's better solution than having to wave your hand around trying to make it go away. Once it's full it will fly away on its own, never to bother you again.
Well who is happy in tax? Well, I thought no one is happy either. We are all not happy it is just that we don't have any choice but it is okay because it is for the security of our government. Let us be honest, although there are many corrupt politicians there are still something that made us proud to become part of that certain country.
Why do some people here think that the government is a leech trying to sip a part of your money? To my understanding no one is exempted from paying taxes and all of the citizens whether you are a government official or a normal citizen or even a juridical person you must pay your taxes.

Or maybe I am missing out something?
That the concept of Anonymous Currency in Bitcoin make us think that we are exempted or it must be used to take advantage of the government. Well if that is the case then this might be the root of the problem where a lot of us think that earning Bitcoin make us exempted from paying our taxes.
3919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it make sense if someone turned bitcoin into paper money? on: February 25, 2018, 09:34:52 AM
If that will happen then the point of Bitcoin becoming a virtual currency would be worthless. It is like making Bitcoin into a regular fiat currency and removing all of its features. Also thinking of its legality making Bitcoin as a paper currency competing to other fiat currency will be more serious and governments would have a second thought on being lose to Bitcoin, they might pursue on making Bitcoin illegal again. This idea would be bad for us users and also Bitcoin. I don't even think that this would be an option in the future.
3920  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-24] The Public Will Decide Cryptocurrencies’ Future: Malaysia’s Central on: February 24, 2018, 10:31:22 AM
Well that is sort of a good news. Giving the public the freedom to buy and sell is something that is deprived from many countries. The problem I see this is if Malaysia did not do some kind of regulation they might be losing millions of dollars in terms of national income. Even if Malaysia has given a free market approach to cryptocurrency they still must do some kind of monitoring in order for them to prevent crimes and other scams. They must not let their citizens abuse the power and freedom they have given to them.
