3921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Golden Cross approaching on: September 16, 2021, 11:14:46 PM
Moving averages relate to momentum in the price, its nothing more then data till conclusions are pressed as to how this will effect current price.  Its not especially far fetched for a rising average price to be considered bullish, the 50 day above 200 just implies a positive phase where as earlier this year we entered a sell off period quite normal after such rises.
Speculative trades do tend to guess MA as support or guidance in some way which is probably where it becomes too stretched in its reliance however its never just invented its a reflection of price history so valid to refer to imo.  Right now we just above 2 day average, a very fast measure to trade along and also the monthly average price is in this area, sideways consolidation is occurring most likely.
3922  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2022? on: September 16, 2021, 10:32:33 PM
I know some predict 100k and thats the potential perhaps but the more normal reality would be in the region of 50k or so and certainly the 50 week average is more reliable guide then the peak prices which are frothy in reaction to speculation.   Obviously it can happen but I more expect us to stay within the trajectory of prior price action which is more modest then 100k

I see alot Blast matches should be good to bet.  Putting down Astralis to win but EG get 1 map is 3.2x odds which seems good to me and similar for Vitality vs Liquid.
Right now is also Dreamhack qualifier matches with Mythic vs a team of people I never of, Mythic arent fully serious retired streamers etc and dont practice especially last I checked so I'll just go with 3 maps low bet for fun because certainly they have the experience to challenge most upstart teams

For the fun of it, i'm gonna bet short on BTC.

Bet on zero and you would win zero in effect a pointless bet, its a funny depreciating pay for betting lower.   Better to be optimistic and if we did rise the worth is greater also.   I'm sure this concept might even make someone good at maths wonder how to account for it within the nominal odds to risk ratio because its not as even as it might appear between the two outcomes.   Of course we could just touch lower for the last day of the month then double the next day, its impossible to say for sure.   Or if you had a certain BTC liability in similar time scale, it also makes more sense then too.
We saw a sell recently from a top, it matched a channel or trend and if I extrapolate that out to end of month it reads 57,258 for the best case scenario in higher probability range, of course just another guess.
3925  Economy / Speculation / Re: The dump was only a funding reset on: September 15, 2021, 11:54:02 PM

Top of a channel, reset back to 50 day average which despite a struggle managed to hold on and resolve above that measure and also the 200 day where the two crossed during this time.  Im not aware if the cross can be said to be the cause but its supposedly bullish.
I would speculate right now that 49k is an area where we can see some level of resistance from the prior sideways action and beyond that is the old trend or channel top.   I did expect more of a sell past 42k even but this was quite briefly executed.
3926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 15, 2021, 11:42:14 PM
Debt default is deflation, it makes the worth of money that actually exists worth more I think.  I agree they'll end up turning it to inflation but I doubt we get an easy road where its only one side seen, I think we get both and a Richter scale graph where volatility has us swinging to both inflation and deflationary effects.   Its the FED who wants to insist they can ensure a smooth market where only one side occurs, supposedly they have proven that idea true but working wages of most common workers are now worth less under their tenure.

3927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling awareness for adolescents on: September 15, 2021, 12:00:11 AM
Teach them maths, statistics data analysis and probability theory is what I learnt when I was young and was a great guide to many normal risk vs reward events especially in finance.   Just normal education done right would help alot or previously I've read suggestions on teaching kids normal basic book keeping for planning paying of bills etc.  Everyone needs that skill but most never learn it formally or properly hence even without gambling its easy to get into financial trouble.
3928  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull market is back on: September 14, 2021, 11:20:49 PM
Im not sure why 43k should be a low especially maybe it was just that blip yesterday that triggered enough shorts to close or something.    Every short is in effect a future buy waiting to occur but Im not aware if short selling was excessive at that time or not.   The price action has been trending above the 12hr average the whole of today and we passed quite easily through the 2 day and weekly averages also which is surprisingly easy return back to bullish momentum.   47k is the next Fib level above 43k that we saw below us just yesterday, look for a confirmation above that on a 4hr bar as strength showing.

Pansy was originally a Call of Duty player though I never saw her, she probably got a better offer in Valorant since its such a big company running it and just starting out the funding is probably better out of tier 1 for people.   She can always come back, CSGO needs its majors and actual LANS back to be full strength, I dont know Valorant is going to take off especially

Endpoint vs SAW, I'll go 3 maps though Endpoint should win maybe saw has more consistency in the team helping their teamwork where as Endpoint has a new player.
I thought the Fragadelphia matches would be most interesting to watch/bet but they arent listed, Bad News Bears are wrecking so far which is to be expected I'd bet 3 maps on their next one.
3930  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: September 13, 2021, 11:59:20 PM
The only real way to combat higher food prices is with supply, we can speculate shorter term market moves but ultimately the world population is rising and becoming more developed which means more meat over just simple vegetables and meat takes more production also.   I see a commodity boom as part of the price rises because food production requires certain commodities in aiding food growth.   Generally commodity growth takes place over decades, the currency we know is not going to become stronger within this decade or even the next as there is too much debt so that all equates to long term price rises beyond anyones control.   Only production can stop supply raising prices far more then we have seen already.

Most governments work in a fiscal deficit which means all taxes go towards costs immediately, there is no idea of investment just a leaky connection siphoning money from the economy with the added losses from costly government administration of that spending.
3931  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2022? on: September 13, 2021, 11:56:45 PM
Although, for now, bitcoin still feels in a bearish trend. Moreover, there is a death cross coming in the next few days.

Not that I take too much from such things but its a golden cross, the 50 day average will rise above the 200 day average which is taken as a positive.  Both MA rising suggests we are in a positive phase overall even if right now the price might pullback even harshly short term, it will take far more to alter the overall appreciation of BTC during 2021 so OP should expect higher prices at year end as quite possible.

The very bottom pricing for 2021 so far has closed weekly above the 50 week average so thats the bottom estimate to end 2021 and perhaps a bit more then that, I dont think it will be 100k but I'd project a rough year average through new year at about the 50k area.
3932  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far can bitcoin price correction go? on: September 13, 2021, 10:17:35 PM
There was some fake news today that spiked the price otherwise it seems set on a fairly steady course going sideways.   My guess on this action would be have to resolve downwards at some point in order to gain a foothold with some volume behind it that backstop any further negative speculation in price action.

Business didnt invent gambling, they might as well ban the sun from rising everyday too.   This monumental egotistical idea of banning something to alter the world in your own imagined genius is best reserved for communist regimes and other deluded parts of the world where they believe force and the threat of force is the most powerful driver of a nation.

4,It is related to El Salvador

I doubt it, News of El salvador Is positive news it would not make sense for the price to drop due to El salvador

It would be ironic which is quite normal in markets.  Buy the rumor sell the news, the reasoning being the gains before the event resemble positive action and often not just this time but predictably the arrival of a positive event can lead to a sell.    But in any case I dont factor 1 country as being large enough to have that much influence on Bitcoin, this particular news was perhaps seen as start of a trend or validation in Bitcoin acceptance but that still doesn't mean that unique price and time point is upwards only.
3935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot vs Video Poker on: September 13, 2021, 09:10:30 PM
If money management is a skill then slots still has some judgement in play, I used to vary my stake played and consider myself more likely to win at some times then others so not completely random exactly.     Most of the games stack some kind of sequence that can lead to bigger wins so judging when to place a higher bet could be considered part of it.   But certainly Poker is the far more involved game and slots is for when you just want to do something fairly simple and/or are distracted while playing listening to music or whatever.

No its all handled for you, there is no loss from being away it just stacks up spare wheel spins.   Wait for 24hr as far premium giving you the spins but it shows up the same place as the faucet and you can go from there and spin once or the sum total of spins altogether, it gives that summary box in blue shown above.
3937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 12, 2021, 11:59:29 PM
I needed to watch that match but wasnt available to do so, the Navi odds were over done I agree.   Could have been good bet either way in order to cash out live so long as betting the swings between each map win correctly that'd work out profitably.   In this particular outcome it didnt qualify for the money back offer and it was a close game either team could have taken this but not 1 map went into overtime which in CS isnt that rare between the top teams
3938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: September 12, 2021, 11:36:29 PM
I was just reading this topic on an actual fake bet: https://www.rd.com/article/man-rigged-lottery-five-times/    The promotional play through of games is really not a problem imo

That story is about proper corruption within a lottery, but the streamers just using elevated amounts is a form of promotion & I dont find that especially abnormal.   So long as the person is openly admitting to promoting that casino I think thats open enough that you know everything required to make fair judgement.   The game is being demonstrated during play, thats just normal to me at any size bet its the same game really.    What really matters is profit to loss ratio, is the game being played within valid rules that any other player could take part in.  If its available at any price then I think its fine, a 1 million prize win might well require an equal amount to be gambled and the sensible thing for any new player is to start small learn the game.
I dont agree with the criticism, it fits the nanny state type of we cant let people take any risk because the world is not fair it ends up as nonsense and people will always take risks anyway.
3939  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: September 12, 2021, 11:07:34 PM
Whats ironic is its less idiotic to believe the lows then accepting the highs are accurate, we have it upside down very often; attention is best paid after a fall and/or with the lowest prices.
What I noticed in 2017 year start was that the lowest prices are far more reliable then the highest prices, the trend followed on the lows is really regular and dependable.   Of course its hard to tell in the moment especially when everyone feels negative but again in 2021 I think we should be having more confidence thats the lows are quite reliable vs the highest prices which whip back and forth pretty wildly often.

Its hard for me to tell if price suffers at 45k from further negativity but I hope to not doubt so much when we are closer to the lower price range; it tends to be more solid foundations for all the other prices that occur above.

Theres nothing on this picture bar the 50 week average but look how consistent the price (closing) was when in that area, it varied but ultimately we tended to hit bottom and rise back to about the 35k area.  That year average is going to be at about 39k for this month end September, I would guess thats the true fight when volume and momentum clash.   Again it'll be red at the time but Im trying to remember how often the lowest prices tend to catch hold and stick in pattern better then the flaky higher price trend.   I think 39k to 35k is going to be a proper fight, each weekly bar may struggle submerged below the yearly average but I'm looking for buoyancy to resolve above that MA ultimately.

So  0.002 / 45000 equates to the 4 sat faucet payout basic, gamblers will get more but the masses get 4 sats right.  My memory is really bad but I definitely remember BTC was 100 dollars and everyone scared it would go down lol so the reward in sats at that time must have been quite an impressive figure looking back now.    That would make it 2000 sats every hourly faucet roll even the lowest amount, I reckon I can remember near to 1000 sats being normal.
Imo its only in 2021 that the unit of satoshi actually meant anything more then pocket lint, now its probably become near to proper divisible unit to state in value terms.   Almost nobody would have been collecting a seemingly tiny amount with giant foresight but I'd still think some might have profited, alot of people stuck in offices clicking the button might have accumulated alot.  I used know somebody who was a manager just going through sites collecting like that, not crypto it was before that but lottery entries etc. is something people do as a hobby; its a promotional industry so I know thats a thing surely someone did stack sats on FBC
The biggest gains in BTC are often people who forgot an account, every few years the price spikes and shakes people out of holding when long term not selling would have been best.   I have done that at least once myself, my change left over in present value was multiples of what I had spent on the item years before and forgot about.

39k for month end bet is my current negative estimation.   50 week average will be in that area month end, draw a line across and its place for common incidence in the price.  It'd be a decent bet at this point but I dont know either if we'd bounce before the final day or decay below that area; bounce should be more probable as 200 day MA says we are positive trend beyond just this monthly consideration.
