I don't see the need to add more options for registration. I don't know if other gambling platforms use steam logins but it should be a great feature for duelbits users compared to other platforms.
On the contrary, we should be looking for more anonymous options to use the platform.
Most of them were formerly CSGO-only gambling sites, which relied primarily on skin trading via the Steam platform. They still do but have embraced the full casino experience to become mainstream. |

While I agree with you partially, I don't think it will likely prevent spam. Spammers gonna spam. Ads are a part of the life now, you see ads everywhere. Be it on YouTube, Spotify, streets etc. It's annoying to have them but at the same time they make platforms free and smooth.
It becomes more of a norm on paid-to platforms. BMF, Mylot, Steemit. Can't avoid that since everyone wants to earn easily. I think if Bitcoin Signature campaigns have to pay a small fee for running their campaigns to bitcointalk forum (I think they already do, but not sure) that will generate revenue for the site to be well maintained. There are already rules for spamming, and it gets you suspended or banned. And spammers are also kicked from sig campaigns as well by managers  They are already paying members to join and if they're via the ad spot, to theymos. It's a win-win on both sides. More traffic to the site means higher exposure to the ad moneh. |

The rule of not allowing giveaway was to prevent account farming? Or is there any other purpose? I don't know, however I think this rule should be changed or there should be separate board for posting altcoin giveaway. I don't see any need for not allowing this.
Based on some of the replies here, it's mainly to prevent abuse of those XYZ tokens of little to no value. But I agree with you that alts such as ETH should be fine since that restriction set by theymos was made years back. |

Yeah, Coinpot and MellowAds is owned by same person. I don't have 100% proof for it, but probably if I would make small reasearch, I would find things which would prove it. One of details that I remember, one of their faucets BonusBitcoin and MellowAds have same design basically.
But do you want to say that some of ponzis advertised on Mellowads is owned by Coinpot owner? I doubt... You can find advertisenents of ponzis on most Bitcoin advertising networks, unfortunately they are one of main advertisers...
And yeah, you're right, faucets isn't free money. You spend your time and put more or less efort in this task. But word "free" is marketing trick which was very effective and attracted millions of people to faucets through all these yesrs. Like Freebitco.in from just faucet turned into huge gambling website, but they aren't going to get rid of word "Free" from their name.

In turn, MA gathers the advertisers willing to pay for ad space. Then it boils down to the rules on ponzis and whatnot are allowed to be advertised. But then unlike non-Bitcoin networks like Google Ads, many Bitcoin ad publishing networks tend to support those shady ones because why? Those categories generate the most income in the Bitcoin world. So we visitors have to also play smart and know faucets are just faucets; claim and ciao. Don't just simply click on a flashy "DOUBLE YOUR BITCOIN" ad and expect results to happen literally. It's common sense. There's no free lunch. Even this forum has this disclaimer right below its ad space: Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction. Advertise here. After all, we're getting spammed and redirected on almost every single one so at some point we should already know these ads are repetitive and full of shit. |

Banning people based on the region doesn't look convenincing because there is no border to knowledge even someone from third world countries can have better knowledge compared to the guy from well developed countries and literally thry banned countries because they don't want to pay the people for that pay per post campaign on cryptotalk.
The last time I checked, it was due to the low quality submissions from those countries. Legit or not, it's hard to determine because there are other services that also implemented similar strategies. For instance, visitors from US/ CA are paid way better than those from third-world. |

For example: If there are many valid scam accusations about a casino/business starting to pop up then it is very likely either the business is about to go down or your turn to get scammed is coming.

Honestly I feel like keeping my money at freebitco.in is safer than any other place I can hold it.
Now we all know exchanges, if you put it on exchange they will definitely use your money to make more money, think of like insurance companies of real life how they take your money before anything happens, use that to invest and make more money and if you ever need insurance they will fight tooth and nail to not pay you but eventually do, but at that time they used your money to make more, exchanges are like that too, and I do not trust where they are spending.
You could have hardware wallet but you could also lose it as well, after all it is a physical object, you could even do paper wallets and save somewhere but it is paper anything could happen. Well, if the crypto wants widespread adoption then it has to be used for daily transactions. I'm aware of LN but that thing is hardly implemented on sites I frequent on, let alone IRL. I could always opt for cards, cash or e-Wallet but then more options are always better, you know. |
