... it is necessary to understand the price formation of monetary assets in general.  von Mises and Rothbard are a good starting point to that...

it is sad to see how little people here understand of the economics of network effects as well as the economics of bitcoin.

Exactly.  That's why you should also buy my CopyCoin--the same applies.

tell me what is the value of a global scale value ledger which can only be changed a consensus of its participants and is immune to any other intervention?

Participants?  Or a cabal of a few megapools/megamines/core devs with commit privilages ?

additionally this ledger also has a function and is scarce.

How many of my scarce CopyCoin should I put you down for?

Just like m at this point of time the market capitalization is 0,05% of the gold market cap....

My CopyCoin is currently valued at $0.1 per coin, translating to a much lower percentage of gold market cap.  The upside is substantially greater.

You don't need to suffer from glaucoma to benefit from cannabis.

Enough lies and filthy excuses, monstrosity!  Back to the earth from whence you came!  Angry

*And to think, a Canadian!  The evol that lurks in our own back yard!

Forgive me, gentlemen.  Back on topic:

the aid of copious amounts of powerful erectile dysfunction medications

You just don't get it do you?

There's no erectile dysfunction involved. It's all about duration enhancement and increased enjoyment, for women as well as men.

Women get erections too and giving them even 5mg of tadalafil does wonders for adding dozens of extra orgasms per session.

You lie, monster!

Reanimating the dead is a mortal sin! The mere thought of your old, withered flesh reawakened with potent chemicals!

Repent, abomination, REPENT!

You realize you're a breeder version of this, right?  http://lemonparty.org/lemonparty.jpg <==NSFW

Proud to be a breeder.
...

It's not about breeding, abomination!  It's about crimes against nature herself!  On par with reanimating the dead--dragging rotting corpses back from their graves to mingle with the living.

And possibly copulate.  With the aid of copious amounts of powerful erectile dysfunction medications Angry

Have you no shame, monster?

You old people are so clever with money.  I bet Bitcoin isn't the only shrewd investment you've made.

I've done OK.

I realize though that posting images of successful but youthful-for-their-age people 21 years my senior is a bit disingenuous so I'll post a pic of someone my own age.

Ew.  Just eww!  You realize you're a breeder version of this, right?  http://lemonparty.org/lemonparty.jpg <==NSFW

we're all early adopters, regardless of price.

You old people are so clever with money.  I bet Bitcoin isn't the only shrewd investment you've made.  Snapped up some genuine cubic zirconia to diversify your portfolio, didn't you? I'm really not laughing now, honest...

Grampa!  Still alive and as ornery as ever!
Stop getting wasted on your erectile dysfunction pills--use age-appropriate meds Angry

I'm not sure if this is enough to keep the unit from showing up to cgminer (my gut says "no"), but I am hoping for a bit of luck once it's replaced.

Just wondering, any news on the capacitor?

Protip:  If no junk pile--a trip to RadioShak, any form factor cap with leads (radial or axial) >6V >=470Mf, (should be a buck or two), a cheapy soldering iron and a roll of flux solder.  Trim leads/bend to fit solder pads/solder/a dab of silicone to keep the cap from rattling off, you're done.

Protip: watch out for the capital letters, 6.3V, 470 Mega farad would be hard to find Cheesy

Protip: Lowercase m makes it mf=millifarad=1000μF.  But even a 470 Megafarad cap, if someone managed to make one, would work fine.  Filters are filters, can't have too much Smiley

I've not noticed you having a problem with repeating yourself.

Where are you from, cbeast?
Someplace that doesn't care about grammar Nazis.

Where is that, cbeast?  Where do kids who dropped out of school to huff gasoline and invest in Bitcoin hang out?
Bitcointalk

Chronic abuse of organic solvents sure explains some of the thinking here.
Pot. Kettle. Black.

Shortened attention span and unabashed displays of stupidity are symptomatic of your condition.
Though the effects of your misspent youth are generally irreversible, today's potent pharmachemicals may offer at least partial, symptomatic relief.

How did that make you feel?

I find helping the differently-enabled such as you somewhat rewarding, but sorta meh Undecided

P.S: How 'bout dat price tho...

correlation is not causation

Of course.  There's a always a chance that abuse of other recreational neurotoxins/preexisting mental impairments are to blame.
