3921  Economy / Economics / Re: Can blockchain replace the traditional banking system? on: July 29, 2021, 01:16:39 PM
I cannot speak on behalf of crypto taking over the banking and fiat worlds however I can say that banks definitely can use blockchain for their data systems. I mean think about it, what is that banks do the most? They keep track of your money, well everyone's money, who sent who how much, who has how much, basically it is all about money and instead of just servers if they ended up basically doing a blockchain, then they could definitely make this a lot easier for themselves.

Most major banks spend billions on their servers globally, because they are not just in one place, look at HSBC they are basically in every nation give or take, they spend billions on servers because of this. What they can do however is create a blockchain, put everything there, allow people to "mine" hsbc token by helping them keep the system going, and then pay those people fiat, a stable coin maybe, and that way they will make it more secure. However letting the whole world see their blockchain is a bit of a problem obviously, so that is why they need to figure the privacy issue first.
3922  Economy / Economics / Re: On Cuba and economy on: July 29, 2021, 10:37:41 AM
The biggest shame here is that people are making out this as some sort of failure for the leftists. I am a leftist myself and I have never supported what Cuba was doing, I never liked China and I actually hate them a lot, same goes for Russia. These are not "left" these are dictators, look at Putin, look at Chinese dictator, look at Cuba these were all basically places where rulers had the total control over everyone else.

For me that is fascism, because if people are not freely speaking the truth and can't complain about the rulers then I do not see how everyone is equal, isn't that what left should mean? Making everyone closer to each other? If a guy at the top is not even getting a complaint then how is it equal?

I have always said that social democracy where regulations make sure people do not die from lack of funds to buy insulin like what is going on in USA but also people elect those who will become president is the way, democracy can never be removed, doesn't matter left or right the moment you take away democracy you are becoming a horrible nation and as a leftist any place that doesn't have democracy is a bad place if you ask me and Cuba has been a bad place for decades.
3923  Economy / Economics / Re: New Jersey Pension Invested $7M in Bitcoin Mining on: July 29, 2021, 08:50:21 AM
I honestly do not think that investing into mining operations is better than investing into bitcoin itself. If I were given 7 million dollars and a chance to invest into something, instead of investing into mining companies, I would invest 4 million into bitcoin, 2 million into ethereum and 1 million into bnb and I am pretty sure that in the long run I will profit a lot more.

First of all no matter who much money you make from mining, eventually you will have to replace those items and buy something new, sure all these 3900 or whatever rigs could make you a lot of money if you could get your hands on it for cheap amount (retail price) but they are usually higher price in second hand (which is rare when second hands are considered) and bitcoin mining equipment are the same, because eventually better and better machines will come up and why would I want to spend that much to keep replacing old and broken ones with brand new ones using all the profits I made when I could simply buy coins itself and make a good profit.
3924  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin about to break out of the $30,000s market bottom? on: July 29, 2021, 06:53:18 AM
Well, I agree with this but also disagree with it and I do not know which option to pick. I believe that we are not going to see under 30k again (not for a while at least) and I believe that we are going to stay above 33.5k+ levels for a long time, who knows unless something major happens maybe we will never see that again, remember you always see a price for the last time and never know about it, during 2k to 3k levels I never imagined in a million years that we would never see those prices, but as it turns out we never saw those prices at all.

It means that we are talking about maybe the same thing now for 20k to 30k? I am not saying it will be like that but we will never know when is the last time we see it. At the end of the day we will not be able to know for sure but I believe it will not drop under 33.5k again for a while, but that also doesn't mean that we will above 40k comfortably neither.
3925  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you bullish or bearish this year? on: July 28, 2021, 08:38:02 PM
With the roller-coaster price movement this year, I like to know if what you think about this year's market condition overall.

Are you still bullish despite the huge dump from ATH, or do you think the market will be bearish throughout?

Share your thoughts and what's your basis, it will help everyone to decide.
Well, I remained bullish. Simple because the current Btc price isn't considered as bear market, even when Btc was still sitting at $30,000 level. Though the drop was 50% from the last ATH, but $30,000 is still a big increase in price compared from the past years.
Also, even with the negative news that might've greatly affect Btc like the China power issue, Btc still remain it's range and doesn't seem to be affected at all.
Now, Btc has been gradually increasing again flirting near the $40,000 level. It gives me a lot more reason to stay bullish in the coming months.
Look at how awesome it is rising as well. We have broken 40k+ twice in this one week, how could anyone be not bullish during this period? I personally feel like we are destined for great things, maybe not right now but it is basically looking like we are going to keep going up and up whenever we fall, and that is what matters the most, the price could fall, but it will recover and go back up and that is the most important thing, we are working towards making sure that we can make a big profit whenever there is a fall.

So when you see bitcoin fall ever again, just buy as much as you can and then you can sell it whenever it goes up, that way you could profit from it a lot more. I have a family member who put a place on sale and he doesn't need that money, I may actually end up convincing them to put a bit of it on crypto, because it is looking mightily bullish now.
3926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motivated by "breaking the code" on: July 28, 2021, 08:18:56 PM
I can't speak on specifics of a slot machine and why people prefer that, because I personally do not enjoy them a lot but know many people who love them. However what I can say about the whole me vs the machine type of thing, which is basically people who think that they are going to eventually start winning, for some reason there are a lot of people who think that they will end up losing to a point and then it will be too much and they will start winning, no idea why there is that but it just feels like it is going to be like that.

At the end of the day, we are talking about something that is not going to suddenly make you win, the code is not like that and you will always end up losing, it doesn't matter if you lost 100 times in a row, you will lose a 101th time if that is the outcome, it is called gamblers fallacy and it really exists.
3927  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Manipulation in Binance Futures Trading on: July 28, 2021, 07:16:53 PM
I do not think that it was binance's own doing, it is obvious that there is some sort of situation where some other person did it. However this is understandable, and I am very very happy about it as well. You may think why are you happy that some people lost money?

But the ones that lost it were people who shorted bitcoin and as a long term investor to crypto I really do not like people who short it, is this "nice" thing to do? No of course not, being happy that some others lost money is not nice but that is exactly what shorters do, they are happy whenever bitcoin falls down, hell they make profit when I lose money, hence I do not think that there is any new blood spilled over short futures end up losing money, it is something I wish and hope for because whenever they end up losing money that means I end up making profit anyway.
3928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need help with trading on: July 28, 2021, 06:47:09 PM
My biggest advice has always been leave your emotions out the door and become a robot in this work. However that is already said a million times so I am not going to repeated that. Studying about trading for months and months is a good advice as well but once again that has been said a million times too.

If you are not doing these two then you will lose, there is nothing more important than these two things and if you could become someone who is super wise about how to trade and leave your emotions out the door when you start trading then you can make a lot of profit. However lets go for the third one which is a little bit less important but still matters a bit ; do not listen to others when you are trading. If you did the first two then you already know about this of course, but I just wanted to add that if someone tells you about a coin then do not buy it just because you trust the person neither.
3929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling ombudsman - do you feel protected? on: July 28, 2021, 06:00:24 PM
I feel quite safe because I do not gamble in new places that can turn out to be bad places. I have gambled in places we all know and love which means that I am doing fine and will probably keep doing fine as well. I have to say that if you are afraid of depositing money into a place, then you should probably not deposit money into that place.

Since this is not the topic of one casino I can give names, when you are gambling in the places like stake, sportsbet.io, freebitcoin, bustabit and few others like that you know that nothing will happen to your money which is why you do not have to worry about anything at all. I personally believe that we are doing fine by playing there. However if you insist on putting your money in some other place then you are going to have face the fact that there is a chance you could be scammed in that new place.
3930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin staking on: July 28, 2021, 05:34:42 PM
I honestly do not think that stablecoin staking makes sense, not to me at least. I honestly believe that there are much better ways to make money than that. For example Cake auto restaking gives you 98%, which changes day to day I agree but that is basically twice the amount and do you really think that in a year cake will be lower? Honestly? I believe it will be higher for sure but even if it is not higher in a year, which I believe it will be, it will be higher the year after that so you will have basically 4x more money and then some more on top of that, maybe close to 5x just because you are restaking your cake pool automatically.

That is why I do not think that stablecoin makes sense, we are in crypto, if I were so interested in having dollars then I wouldn't put my money into crypto, I would put it somewhere else, even market gives you close to these numbers.
3931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu vs. Dogecoin. Who is the Lead Dog of the Pack? on: July 28, 2021, 04:15:27 PM
Basically this whole post is all about few things. Let me shorten it for anyone who has been in the crypto world long enough to see this clearly. Both of them are memecoins that have absolutely no real value, no utility, no usecase and no reason to hold. Both of these coins have absolutely no will of its own and when someone tweets about it then the price goes up as well.

Both of these coins increased so far and in the talks because some famous celebrities most known like Elon Musk tweeted about them repeatedly making headlines and manipulate the price to a higher degree. All of which means that we should be basically focusing on making sure that crypto is not really a serious matter for both of these coins but a joking matter. In conclusion we are talking about stuff you should never put your money into if you can avoid it and you should be avoiding it at all costs.
3932  Economy / Speculation / Re: fomoulation: the age of green dildos is upon us on: July 28, 2021, 03:30:43 PM
If amazon accept btc was a fake news, and they corrected it at the 40k price target means that their goal is not to "desperately trying to keep the price from going up". They would not create fake bull news before. It means that their goal is to drive market price right where they want it to go ... meanwhile shaking out professional traders. Short/long ... everyone. If chart is unchartable, price moves hysterically based on fake news, pro traders stops trading. Gamblers always stays to lose all money on high, random volatility. Characteristic in key moments on BTC either before bear market start or bull market start.

Recovery is nice... I agree. Its not like I'm sure about this 30k retest. I just don't like how market moves hysterically based on news with negligible long-term value. It usually doesn't end well
One sort of people earn from this, well aside from the whales who create these conditions : long term investors. People like me who keep on buying and putting some aside will earn no matter what, it doesn't matter if it goes down now, it doesn't matter if it goes up later, only thing that matters is how much money you can make from it in the future, if you have a price point of let's say 200k dollars per bitcoin, then you can wait for it, maybe it will hit that in a year, maybe in 5 years, you can accumulate more and more in the future until it reaches there, if you think it will be 200k, then buying at 190k won't be a problem, so keep on getting more and more, same goes with other coins as well.

So I do not care if the whales want to manipulate it to make it bad, I do not care if they make it good, only thing I care about is the fact that we could make a good profit in the long term, even 64k didn't excite me, because I know it can be 5x more than that in the future.
3933  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 28, 2021, 02:22:03 PM
I would always stay away from recommending what to invest to other people. Let them make their own decisions. Nearly all of my friends know that I have been involved in crypto at one point or another and I have been doing it for over 8 years now, if they were smart enough they would have gotten in at some point but they didn't, which means they have lost that chance. I do not have to go out there and tell everyone to buy bitcoin, I tell them I am invested and that is good enough, after that they have to make their own decision.

I even had friends ask me if they should invest or not and I told them I can't make that decision for them specifically, if they really want to invest then they will invest and if they do not want to invest or not sure then they won't but I will not be making that decision for them. It is simple, if they lose, they will blame you and I am not fine with that.
3934  Other / Archival / Re: Amazon news is a banal market manipulation on: July 27, 2021, 07:42:14 PM
I wasn't even aware that the increase happened until I saw the topics here, whenever price increases a lot there are people who get super excited about it around here and I do not see the point of it, if you are a true bitcoin believer you know that it will be much much higher than this so there is no need to increase. I personally hope that we will do fine, it is not going to be easy but it will happen one day and these increases could be caused by ANY news and I will not care.

Do not care about these news because they are short term stuff, this amazon stuff turned out to be wrong and fake, but even if it were true, there were no need to increase the price and buy more bitcoins just because amazon will accept it. If the reason why you are bitcoin is to spend it on amazon that would make sense but why do it this early anyway? Aside from that, there is no news that can make me do something I am not already doing.
3935  Economy / Economics / Re: knowledge and Capital which is Very important in Business or Investment? on: July 27, 2021, 06:35:35 PM
I believe it is first and foremost the capital that needs to be the most important thing because without capital even if you are amazingly well versed in that topic then you can't start a business. My father worked in logistics world for 32 years, he was one of the smartest people about the business and he knew every single aspect of it, when he retired I told him maybe we should start a small logistic firm ourselves, nothing big, just hire some freelance truck drivers who owned their own trucks, find business from his networks and just do that? It would have been paying very well and we could have grown it more and more eventually.

It required about a 200k capital just to do a small one and then we realized we can't do it because we lacked funds. So, a guy with 32 years of network and knowledge of the business couldn't start his own company because he lacked the capital.
3936  Economy / Economics / Re: Central bank digital currency will improve the use cases and value of Bitcoin on: July 27, 2021, 06:00:00 PM
CBDC is basically just fiat in a blockchain format and that is why there is not really that much attention towards it, and that is why governments haven't created a proper one just yet because it was never seen as something that will be loved by anyone, so why create something that will not be liked by anyone?

This is why I honestly believe that there is a good chance we could probably not see any CBDC grow big, or even happen for a long time, governments realize that people do not like them it is not a secret, every single government realizes that they are hated by many people, even if they are elected because some people voted for them, on top of all the people who didn't vote for them, there are also some who disliked them but still voted because they hated the other guy more.

You think Biden is loved by everyone who voted for him? Not really, many people who voted for Biden dislikes him, but they hated Trump so much that they would be willing to vote for Devil himself over trump hence why they voted for Biden. So governments realize this hatred and they know CBDC will not be used publicly too much and hence why they are not putting too much thinking on it just yet.
3937  Economy / Economics / Re: Bullish: 'Vast Majority' of Institutions Will Own Crypto by 2026: Fidelity on: July 27, 2021, 05:12:21 PM
This is not a shocking result, I was already guessing that they were interested in one way or another and this is just another prediction of the same way. Obviously fidelity have more credibility than I do but for me I have as much as them since it is me and I am telling it to myself hence who can I trust more lol.

It is obvious that bitcoin and few other crpto currencies (but mainly bitcoin) have this power of being a better store of value, there are so many companies in the world who have cash reserves that they are not spending, cash in hand will lose value considering inflation so it should be spent some other way, some companies reinvest, some companies do something else, we are talking about bitcoin as an alternative to that and I honestly believe that companies are considering it as a valid option one by one, eventually reaching to a point majority will do that.
3938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the next bubble? NFT! on: July 27, 2021, 04:42:19 PM
The only downside of these "playtoearn" type of new projects is that they are secretly pay to win again, sure they have to make money somewhere but they are not really a crypto currency but more like a crypto gaming company. The moment they are honest about that and tell you that they are a business making money from the game and you are making money from other gamers, that is going to get either super know and loved, or they are going to be going down but they have to be honest about it otherwise this will not work.

What I really hope for is that we could finally have some sort of decentralized playtoearn where the team just makes the game and then leaves, sure keep on marketing if you want, and sure invest into it yourself, or hell even have some token preprinted for yourself if you really want to risk it, but do not keep making profit by selling NFT constantly, that is just centralization.
3939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone help me on this? on: July 27, 2021, 03:38:01 PM
I guess what is the "trend" you are talking about, that is an important thing. It is not an exact data, and that is why it can't be calculated like that. I understand that you may want to actually determine the most popular for the past 24 hours but you will require data for it. Something like "most increased number of tweets" could work, like if a token gets 100 tweets but increases to 3400 tweets a day, that is a good sign, but how can you get it?

Biggest increase could sometimes work but there are so many low level coins that someone buying 100 bucks could increase it ten folds so that is not going to work, most number of telegram users joined? Can be fake. Basically you will need some data to help you out and for some reason we are not going to end up seeing that at all, it is not going to be any specific data that we can use which is why this is not really possible.
3940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is this a good divide? thanks on: July 27, 2021, 02:40:31 PM
I would advice OP to remove ravecoin and get BNB, and thats basically fine. That is simply what I am doing right now as well, I do not have that much cardano, but 90% of my money is btc-eth-bnb right now which is nearly close to what OP is suggestion and I am twice his age so I have to say it is definitely a good idea.

However the more important thing here to advice to you OP is that you are only 15 years old, and that means you have so many years ahead, in 15 years you will be 30 which is still quite a young age, and 15 years is a huge period in crypto, from 2014 to 2021 it has been just 7 years and we have seen bitcoin move from under 1k to over 60k at the same period, over 60x increase. I am not saying that you will have another 60x increase in 7 years, but in 15 years you could make 20x easily from just bitcoin, with other small stuff it could be a lot more. So use the time advantage you have very  carefully.
