3921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The top 5 countries are ‘paradise’ for cryptocurrencies on: October 18, 2019, 07:50:47 PM
Singapore
Cryptocurrencies will be considered commodities, not currencies in Singapore. Any company dealing with cryptocurrencies is required to pay GST (Goods and Services Tax)

In your opinion, which countries are crypto friendly? Please list
This one is a little weird lol. So if someone pays using crypto currencies, they will also have to pay with fiat to cover the Goods and Service Tax? Or will the seller cover that. So since it is considered as a commodity, then I guess those who hold it don't have to pay any kinds of tax or anything for their gains.
Anyways, that was a great list. Hope we have more countries that are actually crypto friendly. The more countries we have, the more crypto currencies will develop.
3922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What needs to happen in order for bitcoin to replace gold on: October 18, 2019, 07:07:10 PM
Why are people so obsessed with wanting bitcoin to replace everything? I mean why? Why would they want that to happen? All they ask is when will bitcoin replace fiat, when will bitcoin replace dollars, when will bitcoin replace gold, when will bitcoin replace the universe and other bullshits. But, they never really know why they want crypto currencies to replace those. They don't even think about the advantages or the consequences.
Gold is a precious metal. Bitcoin is just a digital currency with no physical existence. How do you expect a non physical existent digital coin to replace a metal found from the earth?
3923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have a $ 500 fund you want to make a profit on: October 18, 2019, 06:11:11 PM
I have $ 500 or more, is that enough to invest or trade daily ??  Do I need to buy cheap coins or expensive coins?  I want your opinion for me as a newbie.
There is no such thing as "minimum" amount to invest. You can invest with any amount of coins. Its not like you will have to invest on cheap coins since you don't have high investment amount. Remember, you don't need to buy one whole coin to trade or hold. You can always hold or trade a fraction of a coin. Isn't it better to own a fraction of a good coin rather than owning a whole shit coin?
3924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling activities correlates with Bitcoin's price? on: October 17, 2019, 08:29:40 PM
I am little bit confused about this topic, especially in gambling websites that accept Bitcoins or any cryptocurrencies.

So, we can see more activities on gambling that uses Bitcoin when we are in bull market (price increasing)? And decreases the activities or gambling volumes when also the price of Bitcoin keeps dumping (bear season) ?

I don't know if (we) some normal gamblers would have idea about this or maybe some gambling sites would exactly know this based on their website traffic/bet activities.
Yeah price does affect the volume of bets in a casino. When the price is starts to go high or reached a higher position recently, the gamblers have more money to gamble ("notice how I am saying more fiat money instead of coins, since gamblers bet based on the value of the coin instead of the amount of coins). So when the price is high, they are able to place bet with lower amount of coins than before (lets say they bet 10 btc which was 1000 USD, after the price rise, 10 btc is now 10,000 USD. Thus they now can place 1 BTC bet 10 times before they go bankrupt). Thus we see rise in volume.
3925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 17, 2019, 08:23:13 PM
You forgot to mention the main reason - not being cautious but being stupid enough. To be honest, most scams are quite easy to spot. Scammers always kinda leaves loose ends which can be spot easily. This might sound harsh, but those who fall for stupid simple scams, they deserve to get scammed. At least they learn something out of it and becomes more careful in the future.
3926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Gambling Doesn't Ever Exist, What Will You Be Doing Right Now? on: October 17, 2019, 07:47:23 PM
Oh hello, we already know that Gambling existed for a very long time. Just what if, it didn't exist? Do we really expect all of these companies to be working on trading platforms? Mining? Video Hosting? Etc... Do we really intend to be good citizens if this were the fact on our life?
Don't get me wrong buddy, this is just another What If... We already know that Gambling already helped countless of people worldwide. And this might be impossible to be gone, so let's just start on this what if

(Continues Discussion...)
I am sorry to say, but this question sounds a bit dimwitted. Kinda sounds like you are saying gambling is everything. How do you relate gambling with trading platforms, mining, video hosting? Doesn't make any sense. Why would non existence of gambling make us a good citizen? As if gambling as corrupted us all!
Gambling helped countless people according to you, but you are forgetting about those countless people  that have lost everything. Usually there are more losers than winners in a general casino.
3927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 07:11:28 PM
1. Check the overall contents of the project such as a team, road map, white paper, etc.
2. Check various features offered by the project such as privacy coins or decentralized coins.
3. Check how valuable the coins are or compare with other more popular coins. if the coins have potential, of course have a multi-professional team & the volume of coins always increases.
4. To be honest, the best coins to invest are the top coins or have been listed in the top 10 at CMC.
5. I suggest you invest in established coins rather than looking for very young and newly planted coins to invest.
I say this because I personally don't have a high risk appetite, so it's better to invest safely ..
how about you guys?
Sounds soo easy when you say or write. But it is really hard to execute what you wrote. Even when  the overall "contents" sounds satisfying, there is always a chance of the coins to fail, thus causing a huge loss on your investment. Based on your third point, you can't compare the success of a coin based on the price. The price can easily be manipulated and even a shit coin can have a decent price before dying. Your point 4 and 5 is quite generalized.
3928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Old good airdrops on: October 17, 2019, 06:20:42 PM
But why don't you find those beautiful airdrops once, whose only request was to communicate an address to receive the gift?  Cry
What do you mean by "communicate an address to receive the gift"? i guess you meant all you had to do is give your wallet address and receive the coins right? To be honest most of those airdrops were just some shitcoins that had a total value of few cents. Again, there were some airdrops were you had to have some certain amount of coin during a certain period of time. Some of those airdrops did have some good price, but as expected the price were dumped (as many users received it and sold it as soon as possible).
Don't waste your time hunting airdrops. They are usually garbage.
3929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is never going to be extinct on: October 16, 2019, 05:51:28 PM
Bitcoin is never going to be extinct
I believe its consensus will be higher and higher in the future.
How is it going to be extinct? Its going to be on the network forever. As long as there is a single user using the coin, it will have some values, be it few cents.
Do you know what consensus is? How is it going to be "higher" in the future? You are probably talking about the price here. Price and consensus isn't the same thing.
3930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend in cryptocurrency? on: October 16, 2019, 05:31:53 PM
Would you give a loan to borrowers in cryptocurrency?

If yes, in which cryptocurrency:
- Bitcoin
- Ethereum
- Stablecoin (please tell us in which)
- Libra
- Maxit (https://maxicreditcompany.com/whitepaper.pdf)
- Other (please tell us in which)

So you are just trying to advertise Maxit over here? The thread kinda feels like you are genuinely not interested about the question you asked, rather you want people to click on the link and read the white paper (Why do you even have Libra in the list? It hasn't been launched yet nor does it have any network currently). Why don't you make a proper thread promoting your coin (or token or whatever it is) and highlight what is good (not talking about the announcement thread).
3931  Economy / Economics / Re: China launching its own crypto currency ? on: October 16, 2019, 05:09:02 PM
I also tend to believe that no decentralization from the state cryptocurrency of China will not have to wait. Perhaps it will be convenient for citizens to use this coin, because transfers with it can be cheaper and faster, but anonymity is out of the question. China is known for introducing digital technologies such as social rating and the likes of this system that control the lives of citizens.
If they are having a stable coin which is centralized, then  why would they be needing crypto currencies at the first place? They could just be using services like Paypal. No difference between the usage. In fact, using a service like paypal would be more better. No fee or transactions delays and stuffs. Making a centralized state owned stable crypto currency (which probably can't even be used for cross border transaction) makes no sense at all.
3932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 16, 2019, 04:53:59 PM
-snip-
With that in mind, the smarter way to hold bitcoin is to sell it when prices start going down, only to re-buy a larger quantity when prices stabilize at a lower range. Then, with the same capital, you increase your bitcoin holding every time prices drop.
-snip-
Sell when dropping, buy when it starts to rise? You know, it is easy said than done. And this is not how it always work. What if when you see the price dropping, you sell, but as soon after you sell, the price starts to rise fast? What are you going to do then? Again, what if you assume that the price is rising, but after you buy all you see is the price dropping? You can also never know when the price drop will start or when its going to rise. Same goes for finding out the peak rise or dip. I would suggest you to go for "just holding" and sell when you reach your goal.
3933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teams showing real faces to public can still scam you on: October 15, 2019, 07:15:23 PM
I am here to confuse people who still think that any new projects that entered crypto space with teams that are able to show their faces on videos and even attend good crypto seminars anywhere around the world have nothing to hide, and they think its real project and far from scam, well the biggest scams in crypto space are able to cater away with that huge money because many believes they are real, The ceo and teams coming out in publics to discuss about the projects doesn't erase the fact that they can scam you.
Bitconnect did the same thing and miracle tele joined too
You talking about that annual ceremony held at Thailand by Bitconnect right? As far as I know, none of the key peoples involved in the development were present over there. If you are talking about Carlos Matos (the meme guy), he was if I recall correctly was just an investor who was promoting bitconnect.
I would say at least if all those main team and developers remain totally public, there is a high chance they won't be scamming anyone. But like you said, you never know. They can scam away the money and escape all legal penalties.
3934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency in the next financial crisis on: October 15, 2019, 06:27:57 PM
Life is rather uncertain nowadays as anything can happen at any time and we would be caught off guard. That’s also one way to describe the current economy at this stage. With the world’s economy expanding and expanding there have been more crashes as the years go by and they are becoming more frequent and some say at any moment one could happen.

So you are left with a situation in which the money you currently own, fiat money: the dollar bills & coins, will become worthless and you cannot even buy anything you need to survive on a day to day basis. In this situation, people will have to resort to a system of bartering like in the stone ages. I guess if you have a lot of stuff with value you can trade that would be great, but a majority of people don’t have such a stash. Things can get ugly real fast.

Therefore, in such a doomsday situation you have to come up with a situation in which you can trade with people in order to survive. There are two solutions I can come up with, either using precious metals such as Gold & Silver or using Cryptocurrency. Considering that fiat currency is useless, Cryptocurrency might raise in value so that it can be useful as a means of trade as long as the Internet still exists which will most likely be the case.

So according to you, if fiat becomes useless and loses its value, the price of crypto currencies will rise, right? But isn't the rise of the "price" of the coins just a mere reflection of the useless fiat currency? I mean inflation has caused the price of the crypto currency to rise and using this crypto currency you still won't be able to buy anything (cause you will be holding the same value of coins as your fiat, that is say 100 dollars worth of bitcoin) cause of the high price of goods. Again, if fiat becomes useless, how will we evaluate/compare/weight the value of crypto currencies?
3935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holding will be worth this year or in the long run? on: October 14, 2019, 07:54:35 PM
No one actually knows what is going to happen. So asking such questions is actually very stupid. But we based on facts and other mathematical stuffs, we can predict some fate of bitcoin in the future. Since the supply of bitcoin is limited but the demand (assuming everyone is slowly starting to accept bitcoin and the government finally starts to support bitcoin) slowly keeps on increasing, then in the long run the price will always tend to increase. Just some basic economics. So, keep holding it for the long run. Don't sell if anything bad happens this year.
3936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Stress and Happiness on: October 14, 2019, 06:19:09 PM

In my almost four years of getting involved (just an ordinary holder and part-time trader, nothing so great actually), I am so sure that Bitcoin can be a major source of stress especially if you bought them at a higher price and then the price made some slide. Now, I am not saying that it is Bitcoin's fault because stress in the first place depends a lot on our perception and how we are managing it. But definitely, we can categorize as a stressor at some degree.

On the other hand, Bitcoin can also be the source of "happiness" especially when the coin is having a great time jumping upwards. Certainly, there can be euphoria if in 2020 Bitcoin can go higher that its 2017 ATH. Bitcoin is known for extreme volatility and it can go from one side to the other in matter of hours and days.

No wonder that Steve Wozniak the Apple co-founder sold his bitcoin because riding the roller coaster stressed him out.

How do you manage any possible stress coming from Bitcoin's volatility?
It is a stress if you consider it as a burden. Isn't it better to just hold it, sit back and just relax. Remember, when the price is falling, there is noting to stress about since you did not make any kind of loss until you sell your coins for the lower value. The price is dropping, not the amount of coins you are holding. Instead of panicking, one can take advantage of the dip and buy even more coins. The amount of coins you own will be rising! What I am trying to say is, during this kind of events, instead of stressing out, try to be as much positive as possible and take full advantage of the situation. Even moment can be turned towards your favor if you known what you need to do and what you are doing.
3937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Harsh Reality About The Current ICO Project on: October 14, 2019, 04:27:29 PM
I feel cheated ... but the fact that every project that promises or claims tokens will eventually increase at a very high price is just nonsense ...
in a statement on the road map they promised to use project funds for further product development, but they were only trying to take advantage of the investors' black money ...
what they have to do is develop their product further, not just start doing it or say all the sweet promises ...

maybe it's one of the things they have to reconsider, if their project wants to be successful and the project product can be sold out in the market ...
I hope I'm not mistaken about this.
Say something new. We all know about the stuffs you are talking about. What took you so long to understand this? All those sweet talks by the developers are nothing but just a eye candy for naive investors (i don't know how did you get the black money thing) to invest their money. Unfortunately many people fall for these sweet talks and gets trapped once they invest what they have.
Right now, there are like only less than few promising projects. Rest are just total bullshit.
3938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 Years From Now on: October 14, 2019, 03:43:29 PM
Do you know where you will be 10 years from today? Will you be alive or dead? Will you be begging for money or will be living a luxurious lifestyle? You see, you don't know the answer to any of these since you can't predict the future. But based on your current situation, you can tell what is coming for you. Its the same thing for bitcoin or any other crypto currencies. You don't know what is going to happen in the future, but based on the current situation, you can tell something good is waiting for the crypto holders.
3939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Criminals got balls because no COP or law to tackle them on: October 12, 2019, 02:03:06 PM
I read people's post on this forum saying even if regulations find its way to crypto space scams will never seize to exist and they keep comparing it to real life criminals even when we have COPS ,POLICE FBI, COURTS crime rate is still increasing, well this is my answer to all of you, in crypto space we don't have COPs or Police to hunt down scammers, accepted, but what do you think will happen if there is no cops, police, courts in real life? criminal activities will grow alot with no boundaries, it will be the same thing with crypto space, if there are laws that can jail scammers at least they will start hiding and there will be FEAR, unlike when there is nothing to fear off scammers now, scammers have too much freedom compare to real life criminals where there is something to tackle them.
Wait. You seem to be misguided. Using crypto currencies doesn't mean that you are invulnerable to the law. If you commit a crime, you are a criminal and you will be prosecuted. Doesn't matter if you use fiat currency to commit that crime or crypto currencies. You will still be a law breaker. It is just that finding the criminal becomes a harder task for them if they use crypto currencies.
3940  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for betting script on: October 12, 2019, 12:36:02 PM
You will actually have to tell more about the script you are looking for. Like what are the requirements of your script and what should it have. Just saying you need a "football" script won't help you find one. Be careful, people might try to sell you scripts that are available for free on the internet. And if you do buy one, make sure you know or have access to whats written on the script. Scripts might be infected.
