3921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going Mainstream: Really Critical for Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2017, 09:44:39 AM
It could be a good thing, but I think it needs time. If Bitcoin is rushed into the mainstream world without being fully developed people will be conned into using BCH instead. When a good project is rushed to deliver that is when mistakes are made.

Well, BCH has the upper hand if bitcoin was rushed into the mainstream because of it's features. Bitcoin must really be developed before these happens.

Also, there is a lot more crypto currency that is better than bitcoin when it is in the main stream but people will be still using bitcoin and that is the problem, a lot of traffic or congestion will surely happen.
3922  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Beware of bittrex it just pulled a fast one on: November 24, 2017, 01:10:48 AM
I was using bittrex for quiet a while now without any hassle .Anyway low and below they now need all your data to make any withdraws  .how convenient not to tell anybody while depositing but when you try to make a withdraw o we need every ID under the sun that  you have .Anyway i giving everybody a fair warning about bittrex use at your own risk especially if you dont have a passport or not like sharing you info for privacy reasons .

This is a sad, I have a lot of tokens deposited in these site and if they are asking for IDs and other information proving that it is me, I think I can't withdraw that token, it is not that I don't have those IDs but I really want to make my address or name or age private.

What is the reason for these? This is not a thing the last few days but now it is making a problem. I don't know what happened but one thing is for sure, this might be a result to a lot of accounts using their site, oh well, must use another exchanger., though my money is in there.
3923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Fiat on: November 23, 2017, 09:23:39 AM
The Bitcoin followers keep saying the Bitcoin is a new currency.

If that is the case then by definition it is fiat.

When it is fiat, then we will see inflation and breaking the 21million limit.

I think you don't even need to stick with the definition of currency, if you really know bitcoin, it is just a common sense.

Bitcoin is not issued by the government and it cannot be the main currency of one's country but why do people say that it is a currency? Currency also means "the fact or quality of being generally accepted or in use" , bitcoin is being popular and being accepted by many countries by now, some even legalize bitcoin, so we can say that it is a currency but not a fiat.

3926  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do I need not to give up my bitcoins? How does that going to benefit in the on: November 21, 2017, 10:43:16 PM
Why do I need not to give up my bitcoins? How does that going to benefit in the long run??

Because a lot of people regret that they did it. In the past a lot of people who are holding a lot of bitcoin sold their bitcoins for a cheap price because they are thinking that bitcoin is dead and being that popular. But just after some years, bitcoin reached the price of $2000 and made a comeback after the price dump at what happened at Mt. Gox.

A lot of people regretted that they had sold their bitcoins so easily and with a cheap price. It may not be a benefit in the future but with out a doubt, it will be a profit.

3928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Pros and Cons of Investing in a Cryptocurrency ICO on: November 21, 2017, 11:47:42 AM

What are the Pros and Cons of Investing in a Cryptocurrency ICO?

I think these topic must be in the Altcoin Discussion.

I do not know the Cons, unless you are just investing in the ICO not knowing the project and it's roadmap but I know some of the Pros like purchasing them in big bonuses and selling it for a bigger profit.
3929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is illegal in some country on: November 21, 2017, 02:00:49 AM

This is a link from newsbtc and posted recently 4 days ago Nov 18.They mention Bangladesh, Bolivia, Ecuador, Kyrgyzstan, and Nepal are banned in this country.

Heres the link for more info. https://news.bitcoin.com/five-countries-where-bitcoin-is-illegal/

I think you need to reconstruct your post because it is misleading, countries is not banned by other countries because they can't go to that country, maybe it is the people you are talking about? or bitcoin. Please clear it out.

the use of the cryptocurrency is illegal in some countries and punishable special at MOROCCO (North Africa)

There is a lot of countries that banned bitcoin and obviously if it is banned you are punished for using it. Still there are some people who uses bitcoin despite of being banned to their country. I don't know the reason they banned bitcoin but I know for some reason that they do not want crypto currency circulating into their country.

We can't do something to this matter, bitcoin is not a currency that will bring down economy but it also helps, I do not know why do they need to ban this currency because this is really helping people and the country.

3931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC competes with Monero? on: November 18, 2017, 12:58:30 AM
The truth is, there is a lot of other crypto currency that is better than Bitcoin

But the thing here is bitcoin is the original crypto currency, even with a lot of better altcoins, they will still stick up for bitcoin.

Here for example is the feature of BCH :

  • Fast: Transactions are completed in seconds and confirmed within minutes.

Reliable: The BCH network runs without congestion, and is scalable to handle further demand in the future.

Low Fees: Send money globally for pennies.

Simple: Easy to use, regardless of your level of experience with cryptocurrencies.

Stable: It’s a payment system that functions as a proven store of value.

Secure: Bitcoin Cash relies on the bitcoin blockchain (a forked version), described as the “world’s most robust blockchain technology.”

Way better than bitcoin right? still bitcoin is at the top.
3932  Other / Meta / Re: Recaptcha issues with login on: November 17, 2017, 11:54:48 AM
This is also bugging me sometime but i do not reach 10 maximum, it just happen to me 2 or 3 times.

The question here is why are you logging out your account if you have your own PC? You can always check the "always stay logged in" so you can avoid this captcha problem of yours.
3933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: November 17, 2017, 11:11:22 AM
Worldwide, especially in my place, must sell it for profit rather than always keep it!
The government always forbids the use and play bitcoin so that it can not grow fully potential in my place. Surely it remains an advantage if there is a transaction rotation for bitcoin in my country to live.
I think it is better if you will not be using bitcoin since you said that the government forbids the use of bitcoin, it other words, they banned it in your country.

People sell their bitcoins because they need money or they want to get their profits out of their saved bitcoin.

3935  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Want to understant the different color at spreadsheet on: November 17, 2017, 10:33:14 AM

Yung red po kadalasan natanggap sa campaign but natanggal for some reason. Kunwari po nasa signature campaign ka ni yahoo, which is one of the most popular campaign managers dito sa forum, kapag nagburst posting ka or di nagpost ng 2 weeks sa campaign niya, ihahighlight niya yun ng red ibig sabihin blacklisted ka or natanggal ka. Minsan sa ibang campaign, yung blue and yellow ay indication na dapat may ifollow up or gawin like joining the telegram or slacks.
3936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: more than just currency on: November 17, 2017, 03:30:45 AM
Seems so easy to get lost in our own little worlds of personal greed and forget what bitcoin is really all about.

It is all about rewritting the failed experiment of western consumerism.

It is all about a true global community without borders and central government oppression.

Bitcoin is already a global currency, just the first one. Which is showing humanity there is another way to live other than under wasteful  military and central banking adventures.

Maybe I'm getting outa line for this forum.

Is this forum really about Bitcoin?

I think we can really say that whenever money is the topic, greedy people will be always around the corner to snoop in. You can't just clean this forum with the people like that, as you can see the forum is becoming popular, it's just, it is popular because of how you can earn money in here not because it is all about bitcoin which is said to be the father of all crypto currency.
3937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Segwit2X fork cancelled or it will happen on: November 17, 2017, 01:42:07 AM
It is cancelled. I don't know about why some people backed out to this "upgrade" but you can just read some of the infos in this link. https://bravenewcoin.com/news/segwit2x-hard-fork-abandoned-what-happened-and-why/
3938  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: November 17, 2017, 01:19:12 AM
as we know so many reason to make controversial bit coin currency in practical or real media sanitation. if  we observe very carefully  few past few years we have seen that  criminal activities  or occurrence  are occurred by the help of hackers and trader make it famous moving thousand of dollars outside by cheating  with government law enforcement for that reason value of bitcoin increasing very high. even they make money away from center bank and government unable to hold money from general people and through this process people convert this money into different things. i think this is enough for making controversial and what do you think about my think ?

Controversial? it is the feature of bitcoin in the first place, why could it be controversial? Hackers can't hack someone's bitcoin wallet but the exchangers wallet, so I think the controversial there is the exchanger's security, wouldn't you agree? Most  of what you are saying is all about the decentralization which is a feature of bitcoin in the first place, so I think it is not controversial, you are just over thinking things.
3939  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Best Practice on: November 17, 2017, 12:50:56 AM

Maraming salamat.

Sa tingin ko kung gusto mo talaga and desperate ka na matuto and kumita, mas maganda if you start reading a lot of threads and topics here in the forum about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, kasi yung naman ang babayaran dito sa mga campaigns ehh, yung knowledge mo. Pangalawa I think magsave ka ng bitcoin kasi you can use that to invest someday to make it more bigger.
3940  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2017, 04:15:45 PM
Now  bitcoin is the best way to investment money. Bitcoin is always my favorite currency and i earn from it a lot. Well i would like to deposit my money to bank because   its totally safe  Grin
I am not selling or cashing out my bitcoin yet. I want to save it till the price will go higher than it is right now. However, when that day comes I would like to spend the money for my family needs. They are my primary reason why I work hard for bitcoins. If Im lucky enough to earn bigger maune I will deposit it to my child' s bank account for future purposes.
Same here I am also saving my bitcoin for the future of my family they are the reason why I am working hard and trying my best to earn bitcoin, though sometimes I convert little bitcoin to use for daily needs still I am aiming to hold my bitcoin for long term.

There is a lot of ways to spend your money and most of them is used in your needs. I convert some of my bitcoins to fiat so I can buy some stuffs that I need, but mostly I use it to buy some steam games and steam items.
