3921  Local / India / Re: What is the actual state of crypto currency in India? on: September 12, 2019, 01:56:45 PM
They exactly pointed out your transaction details or asked in general? If they asked with particular reference then the chances of from bank is high.I never get any calls like these but you also don't have to give any of your confidential details while someone called and saying they are from banks.
It was not some random call, i verified before attending the call and it came from my Axis bank branch where i hold the account. They specially asked about one paytm transaction someone sent me last year and the main point they inquired is whether i trade virtual currency. Is this some form of evidence collection from IT office through banks  Huh.
3922  Local / India / Re: What is the actual state of crypto currency in India? on: September 12, 2019, 12:15:56 PM
As far as I know its neither banned not illegal to use as well but RBI banned it so what will be the result if someone uses banks to trade the crypto currencies on p2p sites like localbitcoin.
There is no clear notification about the banning of BTCitcoin but i got a phone call from Axis bank last week asking about a particular transaction i did last year and inquired whether i do virtual currency transaction, i was taken back when he asked that and i said i have done that in the past as most of the transaction i did with coinsecure and unocoin are noted as bitcoin transaction and i questioned what is the purpose of these inquiries but the person behind the call said they got a inquiry about those transaction and so is the reason they are calling.
I called back after a while after a conversation with my CA and when i called the bank back they said they do not know who called me and there is no inquiry they are aware of. Has anyone encountered these in the past.
3923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An indisputable proof that bitcoin is fake money on: September 10, 2019, 09:19:03 PM
The easiest way to detect if something is real money or fake money is to check whether it can perform the primary function of money, which is to act as a means by which parties exchange goods and services in the market. Real money is capable of performing this function, while fake money is not.
I am not sure which country you are from, but lets say the function of money depends upon which fiat currency you are holding, if you own dollar and if you are travelling to another continent you need to convert the currency in order to use it and that is the case with bitcoin as you have the freedom to sell in any local exchange and then convert to your local currency. So if you think that the primary function of money is to perform the basic function of trade bitcoin is more than capable of doing that Tongue.
3924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Otto Wallins on: September 10, 2019, 07:40:43 PM
I have the same opinion, this should be an easy job for Tyson Fury, I wonder why Tyson is fighting low caliber fighter like Wallins, he could become a victim of upset if he keeps fighting unpopular fighters, he should fight fighters in the top 5 or do a rematch against Wilder, or fight the winner of Joshua - Ruiz, he deserves high caliber fighters.
The problem with boxing is that they have the option to fight anyone on their choice and they can make a lot of money doing so unlike MMA or specifically UFC, a champion does not face the top level fighters and hence we see many upsets in boxing where the fighters they pick from their management does have the skills to give the champion a fight and so we saw an upset from Andy Ruiz against Anthony Joshua .
3925  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto, Universal income and cryogenics the redistribution of wealth on: September 10, 2019, 06:19:17 PM
About the Universal basic income.
I don't know enough, but it's the thing where everyone would make the same amount of money, no matter what's your job?
Society does not work like that, if everyone get equal income irrespective of their hard work then you will find many people who will go after causes like we see today. The advocates of universal basic income are people who go to universities who think that they will earn six figure jobs after completing some random subjects which does not have any value in the job market and they set out to fight the world Cheesy.
No one is equal and competition drives the world.

why is there significant interest in this subject from some crypto millionaires advocates. I knew about H. Finney but that's not the reason.
I first heard about research about immortality from a documentary about the Russian billionaire Dmitry Itskov who is conduction his own research and have spent billions for his mission and many are doing that kind of research.
3926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 10, 2019, 05:25:32 PM
If Khabib wants wants to prove he’s one of the greats he’ll need to go up in a weight class & try to dominate another division. Not sure if he will though, he might not be able to hug his way to every win at a heavier weight.
If Khabib is dominant enough in a division who has more talents than any other division you could call him the greatest fighter and that too with his undefeated record which is unprecedented in MMA. You cannot find a champion in UFC that is undefeated and Khabib is the only fighter with that pedigree.

I could see a Cerrone KO with a right high kick to Gaethje's head.  Grin
Justin Gaethje likes to play in close range and i do not think Donald Cerrone will get enough space to land a high kick and on the other hand Justin Gaethje has brutal close range chop kicks and with real power, i am expecting a great fight.
3927  Economy / Economics / Re: China launching its own crypto currency ? on: September 10, 2019, 03:30:16 PM
China is all set to launch its own crypto currency for more than 1 billion of its population how will it effect the crypto market ?
Since they wanted to have complete control over their population it is not a big surprise that they are coming up with their own centralized coin, i have not seen any articles regarding that but i have an idea what they are coming up with, it is no affect in the market, Venezuela already have their coin Petro, does it have any implication in the market, i seriously do not see any nor do i care about it. Wink
3928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO - $2500 on: September 10, 2019, 01:04:17 PM
XMR is $80 right now.

What do you think about XMR? Is XMR going to be $2500 along with BTC bull run?
I like Monero for the privacy it gives every user and that will be its biggest obstacle when it comes to government regulations coming up in this market as they will try their best to get rid of privacy based coins and i guess they will force the exchanges to delist the coin to carry on functioning and if that happens the price will not drive that much as you expect. In short the entire market will be forced to the underground by the authorities. Lets see what the future will be.
3929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Bitcoin pumps in 2020 after halving, what effect will it have alt coins? on: September 10, 2019, 11:01:48 AM
When BTC Bitcoin pumps in 2020 after halving, what effect will it have alt coins?
The price of BTCitcoin will rise after the halving and that is our expectation seeing the market in the past several years and usually after the rally in BTCitcoin we will see the top alt coin market making some moves and as always majority of the shit coins will die off too during that period as the developers will sell their coins during this phase and run away with the money, this is what we have seen in the past and that is what i expect this time too. The top coins will retain their valuation.
3930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 10, 2019, 08:00:42 AM
I do not see anyone challenging him in this division, i want to see him fight against GSP for 165 pound title.
I am always interested to see GSP against Khabib, but he has to go through Tony Ferguson first and as a fan i am waiting for this fight to happen, after that let the UFC decide whether they could give GSP another title shot or fight in a catch weight.

Why GSP? Isn't the guy retired already? There were attempts for his return before but all failed. I don't know if he still wants to fight at this point.
He is retired because he has a lot of money and he only wants to fight big challenges where fans want, like Khabib and there was a time i wanted to see him fight against Anderson Silva but those fights never came to fruition.

If Khabib Nurmagomedov wants Georges St-Pierre, its either he (Khabib Nurmagomedov) step up his weight to 170 or 180 or wait for Georges St-Pierre to step down to 155 which is very unlikely to happen.
In his UAE media day he clearly said that if GSP wants to fight him, he will do that in 155 pound division and he is not willing to move up.
3931  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin ATM Operators in Nevada Requires License to Operate on: September 10, 2019, 06:44:10 AM
In general I am against regularization, but in some cases for the safety of the customers regularization needs to be implemented. And cryptocurrency ATM is one of the fields where I think regularization is needed quite badly.
Everyone will be on the same page when it comes regulations being implemented to stifle the growth, no one really likes regulation but with everything there are always two side, the regulation is required to protect the end user as you do not need scammers lurking around trying to find victims and we are less than ten years old and we have already seen billions of dollars stolen. But cryptocurrency ATM is a physical machine and most of them i know are installed in stores, it is an instant procedure and i never heard any complaints so far and why do you think regulation is need badly  Huh.
3932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 09, 2019, 11:12:37 PM
India should dominate this series as South Africa have been poor this year and after a very poor World Cup they will need to improve if they are to have any chance against India in both series.
I have not seen a competitive series from South Africa for a long time and with the tremendous form Indian players are in, there is no doubt that India will be trashing South Africa in the Test series but i expect a competitive T20 series.

And for some, it might come as a shock, but there is no ODI series in this Tour, but that's fine because lately I got bored with 50 overs match, Maybe overdose (WC).
It is a shock that there is no ODI in the tour, team is concentrating on Test matches because of the Test Championship and T20 for the World cup.

Sep 15  : Ist T-20 in Dharamsala  ( I must add beautiful stadium, Location is epic! )
Dharamshala is a really beautiful place and once you land there you will see Buddhists people in the street as it is famous for their monastery and i have even visited the empty stadium last year  Cheesy.
3933  Economy / Economics / Re: Trade war Influences on cryptocurrency on: September 09, 2019, 09:57:46 PM
I dont think that trade war may really affect crypto. Much greater impact will have crypto ban in the US and i hope that it wont happen
Trade war will have an impact on the economic state of things because what they are trying to aim is to stifle the economy and the importance of bitcoin comes when these governments around the world understand that bitcoin will help to over come these centralized restrictions imposed upon them and that trade is meant to be restriction free and we need a global free market and bitcoin is the currency for that economy.

is the sportsbet.io site on phone really laggy ? like the home page doesnt respond properly always and its really a hassle to bet live on it. i assume due to the tons of live matches odds it shows on the HOMe page hence the need for the updating of odds which makes it  a really heavy page?

again could be entirely my phone fault but i have not had any issue with any other site so just wana enquire/complain/suggest this about the mobile site
I used to wage using the phone while travelling and i never had any issues in the past, i am using Galaxy S 9 and it is android based and since you said about the issue, i just tried to log in through my phone and it was smooth and i never had any issue, which browser you are using. I am using chrome and it is smooth, may be changing the browser could sort your issue.

Its the sort of announcement our doubters and haters are going to be really sad and upset about, but we can't please everybody.
Really excited to hear what that announcement could be as i never expected the kind of announcement last time when you made a tie up with a football team which is really huge in terms of our upcoming market and when it comes to haters and doubters, there is one troll here who is black mailing everyone to dance to his tunes and no one can ask anything back at him, if you do so he will paint you with his rubbish. I am playing in your site for a long time and you are one of the trusted site in this market.
3936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 09, 2019, 02:00:16 PM
Am really happy for Rashid Khan and his team. Luck favored them at last and they decimated Bangladesh which is easily a huge upset in recent times. I thought Shakib could drag the game, but he got out pretty quickly.
A combined total of 11 wickets for Rashid Khan which is simply splendid and it is good to see him back in form. Bangladesh continues to under-perform.
Rashid Khan showed his worth in the team, even though i lost a bet, i am really happy to see their performance and to beat them in their home soil is an outstanding effort, Rahmat Shah and Asghar Afghan played their part in the match but Rashid Khan made the most impact in the entire match by picking up 11 wickets and rightfully earning the man of the match. The margin of victor is outstanding and it is not luck and pure performance Wink.
3937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 09, 2019, 11:16:34 AM
Dustin Poirier had some good moments. He made me panic 2 times about lossing a lot of money:
The crowd was really loud and it was really hot and humid inside the arena and when Dustin Poirier came out in the second round throwing punches that connected Khabib i really thought he will finish Khabib, but he got tired after that exchange and he got mauled and it was electric when he went for the take downs.

2) When he excuted a very deep guillotine which I have no idea how the hell Khabib survived.
The guillotine was really deep but his guard position was not perfect to apply perfect pressure and Khabib did not panic and he knew Poirier will exhaust his arms without any leverage from his legs and he popped out and it was chaos. If Tony has that neck i am excited to know what he will do with it. Khabib is one tough individual to crack.
3938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here is why you shouldn't trade bitcoin based on the CNBC Bitcoin News on: September 08, 2019, 11:59:56 PM
You should take them with a grain of salt but not be too skeptic. If the news said that you should take cover because there's a big storm coming would you believe them or not? I always read the news and watch what I can on youtube but try to get some feedback from different sources before acting on it.
If you are predicting something you cannot call that a news, it is mere speculation and i have not seen anyone in any financial market who could predict the market exactly, even the best trader will have an idea on how the market will perform but not the exact valuation on when and how the market will drop or rise, if a news channel is coming up with speculation and prediction, just take it like that and do not take this as a word of god  Wink.
3939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 08, 2019, 10:31:46 PM
That was quick, Nate "the needle mover" Diaz on the move after a long lay off and a win against AP. Anyway, this is a must watch event! I hope Conor watches this live and add more "flavor" to it.
The Diaz brothers were needle movers for a long time and Dana White was the only person who was against the truth and hence Nate Diaz was underpaid for a very long time and now he accepted that he is a PPV attraction because of the reception he got from his past few fights and therefore made him the main event in Madison square garden. If Conor is looking for the third fight against Nate then it is well and good for having a big pay day the rest of the fighters are killers and i do not see any way that Conor could win against Tony or Khabib.
3940  Local / India / Re: Let's vote for a new mod for India on: September 08, 2019, 07:52:07 PM
Especially that banning crypto news all over your country. Given that circumstance I do not think anyone would be even willing to step up to the plate and offer their neck for a 10 year jail term.
First and foremost i am seeing many people claiming that they are not active in this sub forum because they do not want to expose their identity posting in Indian sub forum, but the real fact is that if anyone wants to know their IP address theymos must provide them and i trust theymos than anyone else in this forum and i am hundred percent certain that he will not provide any IP address unless there is a fraud case against a user. So there is no point in having a doubt like that.

PS: this response goes to amishmanish, pawanjain and the rest who pose those doubt against theymos.
