3921  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectations with bitcoin after halving..? on: April 29, 2020, 08:11:03 AM
None.

If looking at its history, there is really not much movement which happened.
IIRC, there was a dump even before and during the halving even with all the hype the is happening in different social media.
Yeah, you should consider that.

Don't expect too much. That might become as the key into making profits if you want to trade it.
3922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 29, 2020, 06:31:54 AM
Thank you for that. Is that legal? They have the VIP feature before you can download it.

I don't think it is, they get that from Netflix and netflix is a paid service, not sure how the rules applied in a certain jurisdiction, but as youtuber, when you copy such content without permission, that's copyright issue. Anyway, it's not important anymore, as long as we enjoy it, let us enjoy it while lasts.
Yeah!! That's the spirit.
There are people who cannot afford it but really want to watch how the Bulls did it.  Wink

Detroit Pistons the bad boys year 80's.
It's like MJ born at that year and Pistons wake up a monster.
Given that how the hell MJ survived how bad the pistons.

Hard foul (physical one) turns out to what new era now the being soft foul of what we called Flapping. Pistons where the reason why the recent flagrant foul has been implemented. Cheesy
It's "flop" Sir.
It is the new kind of acting now. They might add it into Hollywood.
Best actor doing flops is James Harden.  Grin

It's difficult to compare the 80's-90's against this era. Because of the changes in rules and also they are trying to follow how people will be entertained.
I still prefer the hard defense. I am kind of a fan of a defensive team.
GSW may look like an offensive team with Curry and Thompson at their championship games. But when you look deep at how difficult the switching is, you will know how hardcore their defense is.
3923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts about KuCoin partnerships on: April 28, 2020, 03:14:26 PM
Partnerships are like advertisement too. A big one.

Once investors knew about this, they suddenly jump in buying shares of those companies.
Popularity is a huge thing nowadays.
Even if the price is not right as long as they could get it back after the partnership then it will be settled in an instant.

Think of it like a circle of businessmen.
3924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happend..... on: April 28, 2020, 01:41:41 PM
You are stating events which happens all the time with or without bitcoin.

Government in control. It is not new. Anything created by one genius will suddenly be a criminal or will be missing, etc.
Creation of a new kind of optional payment method, they will buy it using the rich people who are also in their control or vice versa.

So what can you really do about it.
You speak like you can do something. Why not propose a good guide and then maybe we could follow it.
If it was really good though.
3925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 28, 2020, 12:39:51 PM

We can see now how times changed, Doncic came as a great talent, and they simply gave him the ball and told him to do whatever  he wants. No one expected that with Kukoc of course, as he came to the team with Jordan&Pippen, but as a huge Kukoc fan since 1989-1990 (I can't remember exactly) I really think that Bulls should have use him better.

True. If he is now in this timeline then he will be unstoppable for that height and that kind of shooting skill.
I have been thinking into which player he could be compared now but I cannot think of someone. He is really unique.

I watched this on this site

https://flixtor.to/watch/tv/4452554/the-last-dance

(I can delete links if not allowed.)
Woops, there's an angel here.
Those who cannot watch in Netflix could really use this.
Thank you for that. Is that legal? They have the VIP feature before you can download it.
3926  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your thought during ECQ on: April 28, 2020, 10:26:41 AM
For me,I thought this covid19 pandemic is a wake up call for all of us,not only in the Philippines but all over the world, what if the Corona virus is a man made?and of course the vaccine is also a man made,,
What is not man made now? It is like every possible sickness and virus now is made of man.
No doubt the vaccine will be created but it might take longer if countries will still be selfish even in this bad situation of the world.
The fight for the strongest country is still out there and this could be a golden opportunity for them to be at the top.

and the vaccine contain the chips, that called we save from the covid if we take a vaccine.. but...I read the article before, the article saying we need to wear a chips as our personal identy,we don't have any access like a bank, stores and etc..if we don't have a chips in our body,,,this quarantine think me a lot, what is the meaning of life if this chips happen...should you take the vaccine??
What chip?
The vaccine contains a chip?
Where did you read that? Is this like a fiction or something?
3927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: April 28, 2020, 07:56:21 AM
It's different now.
Bitcoin started with nothing.
This new altcoins or ICO created coins have a good background already since there is a root for everything.
It should be easier to make it valuable by making efforts to market it. Also, an honest goal should be there.

But look at what we are experiencing, full of scams which makes the investors go away.
So, everything should be done in fast pace by now and not letting investors walk away in a little amount of time.
The competition is too high to make it longer, soon they will switch to something else.
3928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 28, 2020, 06:11:57 AM

But this documentary is also about that 1997-1998 season, where Kukoc was 3rd best shooter, 3rd best in rebounds  and 2nd in assists. At the time he came to Bulls he was the best European player ever at that age, he won everything that it was there to win, and yet, as many great Euro player, he was misused and heavily underappreciated. Hell, he was even cropped out of that famous picture that was used as documentary promo poster ( Kukoc and Harper cropped, Jackson and Kerr added). I hope we see a bit of Kukoc when they reach 1992 and that famous Dream Team. Kukoc would dominate today's NBA  with his skill set, he was player ahead of his time.

Oh yes!
At the time when MJ was having problem with his fever Kukoc was the one doing the offense.
But it was always MJ who was the apple of the eye back then.
Perhaps because of his all around skill which is really impressive.
But behind that 3 point line, there was always a man who could catch and shoot and had a high percentage of taking it in.

For me, it had always been the Bulls team and not just Jordan. They all made their contributions which made them a champion.
It is not a one man team. If asked who is better in that Bulls team, yes it is Jordan. But credits is to everyone specially Coach Phil.

 Born From the Financial Crisis, Bitcoin Maturation Accelerating
So they are now using history as means of growth in value.
But it is not the same. This one is a pandemic not something like 2008.

 Covid-19 May Give Libra Life, Spur Fed's Digital Currency Spirit
Suddenly inserting Libra to the statement?
Are they now shareholders of it?  Grin
I don't think so. They will just create their own coin rather than letting Suckerberg control the financial industry.  Wink
3930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 27, 2020, 01:22:35 PM
I think the NBA style now has evolved, the I and the ME will not work anymore effective with the current system.

If we have observed, most points now are already coming from 3 point spot and some from jump shot, only few players now really drive in the paint since we have a lot of big centers now compared in the past IMO. In addition, players developing their 3 point shooting, that makes them so confident with taking the shot.

It also connects with the soft defense by now.
If you are a 3 point shooter you have so much options when you do the hesitation move.
Unlike when it was at Jordan's era. The defense is so tight that you will need to push the player a little to gain some space. i.e. Utah Jazz Bryon Russell against the winning shot of Jordan.
We all saw it, there is small push that happened there.

Now, you are a sharp shooter, you hesitate, you can force it to the paint leaving the opponent.
Why? Because there is a need for a space and they cannot touch you unless you are at the painted area.
Even centers are doing it now.
3931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 500$ - 30,000$ Gambling Challenge on: April 27, 2020, 11:14:22 AM
I think some of us are misunderstanding it.
I did.  Grin

He may be betting all the money now but as he said he will slow down when it is going deeper.
I'm going to apply a pretty agressive bankroll management at first and slow down later down the road.

Maybe he will apply another strategy to not lose it all.
This will be risky if he just keeps on doing that.
I want to see how this will end so I will follow this.
3932  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Common Cryptocurrency Scams and How to Avoid Them on: April 27, 2020, 09:00:49 AM
Just quoting the list which I had already experienced.
4. Scamming Emails
My first battle.
I have a lot of e-mails that are now in my spam folder.
But, it is really difficult to keep up and clean them up. So I just created a new one.
If you receive message like this, do not entertain them:
Quote
*Someone you don’t know sends you a message out of the blue about a virtual currency investment opportunity.
- Do not believe to strangers, do not believe if he messages you out of nowhere and asking you to join some currency investment because most of the time scammers use investments websites to scam people, they will ask you to put some of your money and will promise to give you something in return then nothing happens.
This was my second one. Luckily, I am not that fool enough to just believe what they will tell.
My experience is, I was looking for help in one ICO which was just finished.
Suddenly 3 people popped out making a conversation on how I will do it.
Unknown people who are not even administrators of the ICO.
1. Imposter websites
This was the last of my experience. I could say they are professional in doing it.
Maybe they did practice making websites but just used it for scams or stealing from people.

Wishing I will not experience the others on the list.

This is hilarious.  Grin Had fun reading all the reactions of this players. It's like they became a kid of the 90's again.

Just putting one example from the link.

Please do share if you have links of more fun reactions from NBA players, coaches or even celebrities.
Reading them takes the stress out from this quarantine boredom.

3934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project use case is important for long term investment on: April 27, 2020, 04:10:30 AM
Correct. But how?

Use case as you said.
What do people want right now?
What do they need?
Have been looking for something to invest with but it looks to me like they are just repeating everything.
It's difficult to find a unique one. And if you do, they end up not being supported much because there is just no hype.
Worse case, they are a scam. Those unique genius minds just used to steal money. Sad but it is the truth.
3935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 26, 2020, 03:57:54 PM
What do you think of this guys?

https://lonzowire.usatoday.com/2020/04/26/lamelo-ball-rumors-washington-wizards-2020-nba-draft-news-nbl-report-scout/
I dont trust the link since its named lonzowire.
So I look deeper and found this.
https://www.ibtimes.com/nba-rumors-wizards-appear-determined-draft-lamelo-ball-2964834

Looks to me like they are really determined to do it.
But why leak it? A chance of getting him may go 50/50 since they are on the 9th spot of draft lottery.
Or is it best to tell every team that they want this kid in their roster?
3936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why trading stablecoins is the most underrated way of making serious money on: April 26, 2020, 02:09:39 PM

Stablecoins are $1 and stablecoins pairs exists. What it means is that you can trade a $1 coin with another $1 coin.
Without being smart you can make serious profits with them. You just need to buy lower than $1 and sell higher  Shocked

I had the most difficult time understanding this.
Yeah, you made me visit your thread because I am intrigued of why you could say that in your title.
Still, it looks to me like you are contradicting yourself.

Stablecoins are 1 dollar. You pair it with another stablecoin for a dollar? What do you get? Nothing?
I want to understand this.
3937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 26, 2020, 10:27:37 AM

There will be some restrictions:
  • Only individual sessions, no group practices
  • It is on voluntary basis, so each player can decide for himself
  • Since it will be only available in areas where stay-at-home orders are loosened, teams from big cities with highest amount of covid 19 cases won't be able to join then anytime soon (like New York, Philadelphia  etc).

According to Wojnarowski, despite all this we are still not any closer to season resumption, but Ill take anything at the moment.
Quote
NBA's decision on opening practice facilities to players in markets where governments may be loosening stay-at-home orders doesn't mean a resumption of season is imminent. The NBA is still unsure on if/when it can play again. But getting players safely into gyms was a priority.
Source

Yeah, team plays will not be worked out.
Shadow basketball is what will happen.
Still, I consider that as a good sign that we are near in ending this virus thing.

Some of them may be living in condominiums alone and that is why they are giving this opportunity.
Unlike other players with homes where they could dribble and run in a spacious land.
They just don't want their players get rusty.  Grin
3938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are research on altcoins for long term investment worth it?? on: April 26, 2020, 06:22:43 AM
1-2 years is not a short time to hodl one altcoin.
That is when they will finish and be listed. The listing is actually the problem. That is when the fall will come for the price of an alt.
Based on my own experience.

Take advantage of the bonuses from the IEO or ICO. That way you could still make profits once it was listed.
My suggestion, never regret about selling even if you will have just a little profit from it.
Forget the coin you sold then move on to another one.
3939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 26, 2020, 05:14:13 AM
However you are forgetting that THOUSANDS of people die everyday because of this virus, I understand that you may want to watch the games but people are afraid they will get the virus as well when the season starts, so they want to postpone it as much as they can to save their lives, I am sorry but health and well being of the players comes before your entertainment obviously. Will they eventually return? Sure they will, but that doesn't mean that it will be right away, it will probably take some more months before they can return.

Who are these people you are pointing to?

If you follow the discussions here, there's no user here that acts like that. And even people outside in the forum, they are not an idiot to think like that. They understand the situation and they just missing the games, nothing wrong about that especially if you are an avid NBA fan for years. It doesn't mean these people want the league to push the game. They already anticipated too that the break might take several months.

That is also why we can't do much but just analyze players now. Like KD and LBJ which is being discussed just a page away.  Grin

All we can do is wait.
We can speculate everything but in the end it will be the US government decision and NBA management into when they will continue the season.
Yeah, that means they will need to abide by the rules of what the government tells them.

Here is one good news.
They could stretch those legs now.
https://secure.nba.com/article/2020/04/25/report-players-could-return-team-facilities-soon

Quote
MIAMI (AP) — NBA players will be allowed to return to team training facilities starting Friday, provided that their local governments do not have a stay-at-home order prohibiting such movement still in place as part of the response to the coronavirus pandemic.

1. How does cryptocurrency help you in your daily lives?
None. Yet. Except the profits coming from trading and gambling.
2. How long have you been into cryptocurrency and how does it changed your life since then?
A long time. I am preparing myself for the future.
Also thinking of passing it with my kids if ever I won't see the future in my mind.

3. How did you know cryptocurreny?
From a good friend of mine.
The rest is all DYOR. But still I give credits to that guy who made me look at a different view of things specially in the financial industry.
