3921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Potential running flat pattern (very bullish) similar to 2017: 100k+ very likely on: January 31, 2022, 07:52:02 PM

As a holder, if it does happen, that's gonna make everyone happy but let's just embrace the reality as of now.

I think the time for sell has gone because the market has started some running up with some strength indicating that correction back up to ATH high is beginning again. The times is for buy and hodling, Today showed momentum up and price is hanging above $38k at the moment after dropping last week.
3922  Economy / Economics / Re: 02/02/2022 :( on: January 31, 2022, 12:48:18 PM
Aside from high inflation and energy prices there is really nothing new here? Apple has had great sales before, most of the crises listed have been with us for a long time (ie climate change crisis). Some crises are very much regional (ie food crises). Sure, the situation is not ideal, but is it really any worse than before?

I was wondering why the date, like it is going to be a new beginning for Apple sales. The world has experienced hard times. Shipwreck, wars, diseases etc. Apple is not the only company in profit on the world's challenge. Health care too suffering and health care providers eating on it and government inflating currency, taxes increased , unrest everywhere and illegal money everywhere "they call it business".
3923  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When Will Amazon (AMZN) Accept Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2022, 08:49:37 AM

So wait for sometime you will see the news that Amazon is accepting bitcoin but till then it's fine and hold bitcoin as it's the best.

There is no doubt on that. PayPal had its own time too with not allowing bitcoin payment but it finally did. Amazon will come up with it some day just like Apple and other big institutions. Bitcoin acceptance will be smooth and effortless like El Salvador has done.
3924  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction: Low was $34K or will be ~$25K on: January 31, 2022, 07:37:51 AM

Remember… market does what the least amount participants expect.

Everyone didn’t buy at $34K because $30K was a better buy.
Everyone wants to buy at $30K instead of $34K
When $30K breaks… everyone will want to buy at $20K.
Since everyone wants to buy at $20K it’ll most likely never reach that area.

So bottom is $34K or $25K give or take a K or so.

This looks fun to see as people lose and some in profit while hodling. The uncertainty in the market is what the circle is all about. It is all about prediction and looked through with the charts. Of course if any is certain about next price stop, that will make it boring . The trend is the majority sentiment, so determining that is the challenge. Bitcoin during the weekend was a little volatile trading down but pushing up gradually, I don't know if we have yet left the bear or if price will get back to $34k or $33k .
3925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biden & BTC on: January 30, 2022, 09:49:24 PM
Personally I don’t see this as that big of an issue. First off I think this all is a bit of conjecture, so we don’t actually know what their plans are yet. Secondly there’s nothing wrong with some regulation and here’s the truth, if there’s no regulation like this then governments will ban cryptocurrency and it’ll be much more difficult to transact.

Moreover too I think it is a normal thing that countries who collect tax will always look for the money from whatever direction it is. Bitcoin is an earning access and can be taxed as an income tax. So if America is trying to put a tax on the income coming in into there country as Income tax and in form of regulation on it , I think it will get other countries attracted because America is one of the biggest supporters of bitcoin.
3926  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: the comforts of bitcoin on: January 30, 2022, 02:19:50 PM
This topic tends to share some ideals on how bitcoin has reduced stress and insults among-individuals.
E.g  for those in Africa can say that since the introduction of bitcoin the argument and stress from a cashier in a banking hall has reduced because there’s no frequent use of the banking hall anymore.

Your points are very valid. There is a whole lot of decongestion in African banks in this 21st century. Although you have attributed it to only bitcoin alone in your post but we know in Africa that things have changed from what our forefathers use to know. Even the mode of dressing by the bankers and even customers have changed, I don't know if we have noticed that and I'm sure our dead heroes would be surprised to see such changes.
Certainly those changes are what has brought even CBDC, ATMs and sanity cum comfort into our lives. Bitcoin is a freedom for financial investment to hodl into further growth for the believers. It is well positioned for the progress made in the financial sector and has changed the dynamics of the individual currency into digital identify.
3927  Economy / Economics / Re: What If? on: January 29, 2022, 09:39:50 PM

The USA has enough power to build most stuff themselves, that's a reality. They get some stuff from china because that is cheaper to do and that is how they make money,  jobs easier.

Yes most of the time it is not like US can't manufacturer such that they import but for certain reasons, they can decide to get it from another country if it is cheaper to get it there. And if sanction is given, they now focus there energy in production of that or solicit for any country supplying that product.
3928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: it's not that I suspect friends who exist in this forum .. on: January 29, 2022, 02:52:24 PM

I ask is there no follow up with punishment like real life cheats?

What do you mean by real life cheats. If I can understand you, maybe you are talking of people scamming you physically and that is not the forum problem if you allow a family member for example to scam you how do you expect the forum to know about that ? But scamming on the forum can be reported on reputation or scam accusation thread and if user investigation is real someone can put a tag on that account. Tags are meaning that you don't need to trust the user or be careful dealing with such person. Scam is not only individual but some bounty and signature campaign companies can also scam you by not keeping to promise or not releasing fund to participants winning in their platform.
3929  Economy / Economics / Re: Efforts made by the US actually provide a new problem for inflation. on: January 29, 2022, 10:27:44 AM
I think most government that game in since the past 20 years have got to worry about inflation. And what can be the course of this rising inflation globally ? I think there is a relation between inflation, population and printing of more fiat.

I'm not sure how much of a factor the population is, but I'd imagine the biggest issue would be the "Snowball effect".  The more the money becomes devalued, the larger the quantity governments need to print in order to provide economic stimulus, and consequentially the more it debases the currency.  It's a vicious cycle.  The problem generally escalates over time as larger and larger sums are printed.  Eventually, it results in "hyperinflation", where the situation is effectively uncontrollable and the currency becomes all but worthless.

Oh really.
Quote
I'm not sure how much of a factor the population is
But if you take a good look at your post you see you are yet subscribing that population is a major factor to inflation because that means change is occurring in the system other than what was known or used to before and requiring planning, printing of cash and change of status quo.
3930  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Institutional investors changing the Bitcoin price behaviour? on: January 28, 2022, 05:15:13 PM

Will Bitcoin still be a Safe haven when institutional money takes over the majority of the ownership of bitcoins and these people start to manipulate it in the same way that they are manipulating other markets?

Let's discuss.

This is serious question and a food for thought but the point is if any body can stop it? This is possible to happen but who could tell the degree of manipulation that can go on if it will be greater than the current manipulation or lesser but I know it that institutional hodlers are expects in business and all out for profit that means we could also see higher price because demand will increase when products not available.
3931  Economy / Economics / Re: Efforts made by the US actually provide a new problem for inflation. on: January 28, 2022, 01:47:58 PM
Usually not with any great deal of success, but that's the theory, at least.

I think most government that game in since the past 20 years have got to worry about inflation. And what can be the course of this rising inflation globally ? I think there is a relation between inflation, population and printing of more fiat. The government rush in for printing more cash to take care of the growing population and this has ripple effect on the economy. The challenge is population growth and trying to control that will help take care of inflation.
3932  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How bitcoin has employed more African youths. on: January 28, 2022, 11:30:50 AM
It's in general not only for the African youths that bitcoin has helped a lot of us.

You are right saying this. Africa or third world countries are not the only beneficiary of bitcoin and cryptocurrency investment alike, youths and old. If you check every country has a currency that purchasing power is lesser than btc. This means the value of btc is much higher, therefore having investment in btc gives every continent and btc ethusiast edge above those not investing.

Also about the signature campaign, not only African community benefit from it after rendering the service. So the benefit of bitcoin is really to a large extent.
3933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON Round of 16. on: January 28, 2022, 10:16:03 AM
It will be very difficult in Egypt's match against Morocco. They will have to beat Morocco first. If they can reach the final after beating Morocco, then if they play against Cameroon, I can agree with what they say. I think Egypt, Morocco, Cameroon and Tunisia are strong teams in this tournament. One of these four teams will be champion.  I'm looking forward to this cup game.
3 of your 4 teams are playing for only 1 spot in the final. Don't forget about Senegal. They have scored 3-0 goals in their first 4 games. While they did not show very entertaining football until now, they were highly efficient which can give them an edge against other teams.

I'm thinking Egypt can be the better side with there compactness and strong attackers and good on penalty kicks. Cameroon didn't really impress me with there last game with Comoros playing a man down and yet bitting harder with the pedigree of the Cameroon. I expect that the next set of games will really show who is ready to lift the cup.
3934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Project Tokens Discussion on: January 27, 2022, 04:58:02 PM
there are so many token projects but finding a good one is difficult ,instead of promising within one year you will get many return but the proof is that there are many projects that don't keep their promises ,even not a few projects have fallen ! waiting for a trend moment to thrive in the community is the best choice instead of having to analyze it manually

There is absolutely no way that is better to analyse the crypto market. All you can do is to follow the general speculation in the market. For example at the main time, the market is bear and so analysis should be on that trend. And to rely on project that are not tested yet for investment is risky because team can disappear or the project could be scam exit.
3935  Economy / Economics / Re: IMF urges El Salvador to remove Bitcoin as legal tender on: January 27, 2022, 04:08:24 PM
I believe that nothing is going to change his plans. Well, maybe if the price would go down a lot, but a lot.

I don't expect that price dip will make a believer to change there mind on bitcoin. The understanding of bitcoin is not just on bull volatility and the the decision to adopt it should cover even the bear. I believe he has been around during 2017 and beyond to monitor the precedence of bitcoin, bowing down at any point because of the pressure from IMF doesn't won't be a good thing for crypto world.
3936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: we can still rely on the bounty.. on: January 27, 2022, 12:36:32 PM
Bounty depends on manager. Guarantee of coins is better when there is no hope of distribution.

Until now I still believe in bounties but I don't think about hanging my salary from the bounty because there is no certainty about the bounty and so is the airdrop,

Your word is contradicting. If you say you believe in bounty and airdrops , you say again there is no certainty  Grin

there's nothing wrong with us joining an airdrop who knows we might be lucky to get a lot of prizes, so I think keep working on it bounty and airdrop but still prioritize your work that gives definite results.

If you believe to get a lot of price from bounty, that is if you are lucky to get the distribution to you and you do get it, it is better to sell it off immediately as you can because with time it will depreciate in value and worth very annoying amount that won't profit you anything close to fees if you decide to sell.

3937  Economy / Economics / Re: IMF urges El Salvador to remove Bitcoin as legal tender on: January 26, 2022, 10:02:44 PM
I don't see how making bitcoin legal will cause inflation. Inflation affects the fiat which touches its ability of purchase or reduces the purchasing power. This is not relating to bitcoin so IMF trying to ring the alarm of protection of El Salvador people is mere distraction from there real role and functionality

This I see as another fight against bitcoin because it is going to come out more if the IMF succeed with there threat.
3938  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Blackjack.fun Signature Campaign | Up to $80/wk | Rate Increase on: January 26, 2022, 04:59:55 PM
It has been a wonderful experience with this signature campaign. I appreciate blackjack.fun and sujonali1819 for choosing me to contribute for them in the little way that I can. Thank you and hope I can work with you guys in the future.

For now I have been selected into another signature campaign. Thanks again to listening and considerate manager, sujonali1819.
3939  Economy / Economics / Re: One nation one currency... on: January 26, 2022, 04:34:51 PM
Anyway I think that time for oneness has gone and will not come back. It is now an individual race, speed or whatever you can call it to survive. There are different theories about this and one of it is the survival of the fittest. You need to Google on that, I guess it should be by Spencer or he wrote something on that.

It is gone forever, even the communist system of government is not really united anymore and if you would research the bible too, there is a story on tower of Babel that God caused the people who were united to  build edifice and "sky scraper" for the purpose of seeing God (this is the history of different tongues or speech anyway).

The point is no, that time can never ever come back except if there would be something like that after the rapture  Grin
3940  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: January 26, 2022, 06:57:48 AM
No matter the price dip, some people won't invest. Those people are those that are chronic complainers. They are haters because if you don't invest when it is low you don't have to complain when bull starts. It is clear that this is another investment time , it looks like the correction has taken turns in dragging the price down, so putting in money now won't go dipper before profit start coming and first half of the year is almost splitting into two meaning those that cashed out during the festive season are coming in again.
