I think Genesis Mining is interesting... I believe they're legit, but it says here that they're "probably legit".

The managers of the site are publicly known though, they're not anonymous.

Genesis Mining is legit, no problem there. The problem is their product is big time piece of s*it. Nobody can make money there and get their ROI. Nobody but Genesis Mining. So it s perfect for noobs to lose their money but I do not know why do you write about them, you dont seem as newbie?
3942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $450 - $500 means many of us are now even or ahead on: December 15, 2015, 07:23:30 AM
I purchased only few of my BTC at around $450, the rest I made by investing those inital ones. So yes, anything above $450 puts me in green. Also, we all know it s not gonna stop here and this time it s not pump and dump, there s no going back. Once we hit $500, which is psychological border, world press s gonna go berserk.
3943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone buy during $1200? on: December 15, 2015, 07:21:16 AM
Hey all, just as the title says, did anyone buy bitcoin when it's price was at it's peak ($1200)? And did they sell as it was dropping, or did they still hold on? I personally felt something was happening when it peaked :-/

So, back to the topic. Did anyone buy, and did they sell as it dropped? How much did they lose? Did you feel really really sad? What kind of an emotional impact did it have on you?

I repeat this lots of times. REAL investors are incredibility patient and if you want to play with the big boys, you need to implement that habit. Buying when the price goes up and selling as soon u see a few of red candles s gonna make you lose money 100%. Just stick to your coins and wait for July 22 2016.

3945  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: December 14, 2015, 02:31:14 PM
bitcoin has afftected my life a lot not only positively but also negetively.thats because there was a time when i use to walk run and even jump like a monkey with friends and all the outdoor stuffs but after getting involve in this bitcoin thing i am spending most of my time either coding or learning new programming languages or earnin btcs for somewhere . should i lower spending my time in internet or not and is there anyone who is facing this type of addiction here

That s not Bitcoin my friend, that s common greed. You ve discovered ways to make money online and now they stop u from spending time with your friends. You could do it for nuts instead of BTC, if nuts had equal value equal to Bitcoin.
3946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: December 14, 2015, 12:25:40 PM
I d go and buy some PoS coins, DMD Diamonds or CLAM, for example. Much better option then investing into PoW mining.

3948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High paying alt faucets? on: December 14, 2015, 12:22:29 PM
What do you consider high paying alt faucets? What is high for you?

Also, people who post their offers, pls state payment range per offer.
3949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cryptsy also stealing your BTC ? please share it here ! on: December 14, 2015, 12:20:58 PM
I tried to make a withdrawal for about 3 BTC.

After I was unable to get it pushed through, I opened up a support ticket and asked them to cancel the withdrawal.

After my withdraw was cancelled i withdrew everything via DOGE and locked myself out of my cryptsy account on purpose.

HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY: Open up a support ticket and ask to have your withdraw cancelled. Once the withdraw is cancelled (it will show back up in "pending"), then buy an alt coin like DOGE and withdraw your funds

But Doge on Crypts is 30% more expensive then on other markets. I know it s better to get anything then nothing but still, that s a pretty big punch to take.
3950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2015, 08:03:13 AM
Banks ve always been fast on embracing something they can use and profit from and this is why they ll embrace blockchain fast. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is a form of direct competition to their services and it even makes them redundant. This is why I think we ll wait for at least couple more years for banks to embrace BTC.
3951  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying BTC with credit card on: December 13, 2015, 07:33:22 PM
Genesis Mining is accepting Credit cards, with the observation that they hold the earnings for a month to prevent chargebacks. It's not exacly "buying bitcoin" but, well, my 2 cents (i mean, 2 satoshis).

Genesis Mining is piece of shit service. Only total noob can use them cause they simply offer no chance of ROI whatsoever.
3952  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Great cloud mining website? on: December 13, 2015, 07:24:38 PM
So, there is actually no Cloud Mining Website that is legit?

yeah bit-x and hashnest are legit and can be profitable if you're good at trading

there is the need nowadays to sell the hash to have your roi faster

I wonder how crypto world s gonna look like if we end up having 10 big farms owning all PoW hashrate.
3953  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Great cloud mining website? on: December 13, 2015, 04:30:56 PM
So, there is actually no Cloud Mining Website that is legit?

Both Hashnest and GM are legit. None of them is profitable ATM, especially not Genesis Mining.

Pozdrav iz Banjaluke. Lijepo je vidjeti da nas ima i ovdje.

Ja sam u crypto preko 3 godine, probao sam sve moguce opcije do sada, od CPU mininga, GPU mininga, ASIC, Cloud mining, trading bots, arbitrage, PoS novcici, ama bas sve. Za sada sam jako zadovoljan, crypto ekonomija raste i iskreno se nadam da ce tako da se i nastavi.

May the force be with u. Smiley
3955  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: December 13, 2015, 02:24:49 PM
My view of bitcoin future (waiting fo your comment to see if my logic is sound).

What do we know :

  • like Jon Snow said : "halving is coming "  Wink
  • bitcoin is going main stream (meaning more and more people knows it exists -despite a bad press sometime-, and start to have curiosity about it)
  • bitcoin is a currency but also business (mainly mining trading and payment )
  • even if we start to ear about quantum computing, Moore law still apply with an 18 month time interval .
  • during the gold rush, those who got reach were selling picks and shovels

based on this , I can not imagine companies like bitmain knc bitfury and other , doing nothing and let their business die , meaning let the mining be unprofitable . Even with the new chips and lowering their price (humour me and assume they make a 30 % margin / device)  , they have to keep ROI low  to make hardware attractive .

for example if we keep current price and diff , after the halving an S7 would ROI at best after 2 years more or less , which sound like a risky business .
Plus the miners don't want to mine at lost or to sell hardware before ROI .

so my logic is : a part of the "mining income decrease" after the halving will be absorb by lowering hardware price (or to be more precise keeping profitabilty up)
and the other part be pumping BTC price up.

to my opinion assuming hardware goes down by 25 %( and even with new 13 nm chip) to keep some profitabilty  , that means BTC price should go above 600 $ to keep mining attractive .

what do you think ?

Yes, this sound like common sense. But it does not compensate for a fact that cloud miners have been losing money for the last 6 months. With this diff growth, unless you daytrade hash, it s simply not possible to make any money.
3956  Economy / Securities / Re: Anything sustainable worth of investing? on: December 13, 2015, 08:08:30 AM
Since bter.com got hacked it started with partnership with JUA fund management and started giving 10% on BTC holdings. I've ben using it since July I got a very nice sum considering I did nothing.
But I don't know how sustainable that is. It was a very risky investment!

Interesting to see how much bter has changed. I'm not sure if I feel comfortable using them, though, considering their past.

As soon as BTC start going up, most of other related investments and coins do not immediately follow and start sinking. So it s probably the best to stick to only investment which you can directly control on your machine and differentiate. Once BTC reaches critical mass and high enough price, there ll be inflow of new money in crypto and everything ll start booming. Just like last time.
3957  Economy / Securities / Re: HEDGE FUND BTC on: December 13, 2015, 08:06:01 AM
Still Makalu, you cant post once every 2 weeks and expect people to trust you. Find someone to maintain this thread or even better make a professional one, if u re really serious about your fund.
3958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DMD Diamond Legendary 10 - A great opportunity for investment on: December 13, 2015, 08:04:00 AM
Not all people in crypto are scammers my friend. There re still a few of us who re honest and hard working. So I consider your post insulting but I do not think you care anyway.
3959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: December 13, 2015, 07:55:35 AM
I can only payout to bitcoin account of faucets
The results are very little and need much time to collect  Sad

I agree with you there; faucets are indeed a waste of time if you have some nice skill set to offer different people in exchange of btc. Needless to say, you can earn more doing real life jobs and just buy btc instead of sitting 12-15 hours a day typing captchas and pasting your address in return to a fraction of a cent. Did I mention that dust transactions also causes problems in regards with transaction fees?

Complete waste of time. These can be only interesting for people coming from countries living on less then $2 per day and these countries are not advertising focus for Faucets anyway. The rest of us need to find more solid way to make money.
