3941  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Silver Wallets - A New Kind of Physical Storage [MEGA SUMMER SALE!] on: October 20, 2015, 03:55:47 PM
Planning to get design #2 this December as a gift to my self for Christmas Smiley
Is the quantity of this silver wallets limited? Do I need to make a reservation?
I highly advise you to reserve a coin as only 100 of the Design 2 ones have ever been made (and only 5 of them are left).

Hello-
Says here (http://www.ebay.com/itm/261582453878) that there are 1000 mintage of Design 2 and the first 100 are numbered.
Are there actually only 100 or 1000?

Thanks Smiley
100 coins have been made, all numbered. Non-numbered Design 2's were never made.

Are you in the EU?

If so and you win I will need very specific shipping instructions

Had an iphone 'lost' once to Europe and had no way to prove tacking for customs reasons.

Im sure there's a fool proof safe way to ship there, I just need to be taught the right way.

Thanks  Smiley
I am in the EU and will do. No need to worry, I have never lost anything in the mail and I'll take full responsibility if it does get lost. Sending it with Track&Trace should make it pretty fool safe or just require a signature on pickup.

I always added the maximum post amount to the "Miscellaneous"-section, because it used to be a rare thing. If someone wants to change it, please go ahead.

Sorry for not updating the thread in the past few days. I was out of the country and didn't have access to internet.

My issue still hasn't been dealt with. No PM and no reply to my support ticket, so I'm getting quite annoyed now. Xapo used to handle and respond to support tickets extremely fast in the past.

I'm shipping tomorrow, standard shipping ( registered mail ) so seems fine from my side.
Let's wait for goose20 and if he agrees as well, I'll send you both a message containing the Bitcoin address that has to be paid to by goose20 and some additional information.

I would be willing to escrow between you two, as long as the item is shipped with a Track&Trace code (aka. I can check the progress of the package online). If not, you'll have to find someone else. Tongue

It will.
Then I would be willing to do escrow for you both, free of charge. There is a catch, I will be going offline in less than 4 hours and I won't be back until Tuesday. Let me know if you guys want to go ahead or not.

Anyone in the EU that won't need a whole roll? If so, hit me up with an offer. I only need one of these to keep my collection complete. Grin
3955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is bitcoin anneversary? on: October 15, 2015, 10:25:58 PM
This is a fun topic.  I wonder if bitcoiners will start to celebrate 3 January as a kind of holiday.  What will it be called?  "bitcoin day"  "satoshi day"  "genesis block day"?
I know that some people celebrated the 5th anniversary of the whitepaper (I even got a coin for that), but I don't know about any Genesis block parties/celebrations/etc.

Perhaps. But apparently May 22nd is already being called "Bitcoin pizza day" for the first transaction for real goods ever with Bitcoin.
I even have a coin for that! Grin

From the lending thread Boelens and I once had: Boelens and Bitcoininformation's micro-(ish)loans. I know that one says "In Progress", but it was never repaid and Boelens never bothered to update the thread, as it's pretty old.

Sorry guys. Won't review Xapo. Just requested a cancellation of my ordered debit card due to the slow service and reply from support which to be honest scares me. Especially when I read about others having problems withdrawing their coins.

Will at least update on this process. Hopefully they cancel my order and let me withdraw my money without any problems (shouldn't be any if it's a legit company). Stay tuned.
Care to share that reply? Anyway, I never had problems with withdrawing money, so you should be fine. Grin
