3941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bch fork on: November 14, 2020, 11:46:39 PM
Does the BCH hard fork not have a positive effect on project development?
No, it simply means that a new chain will be split out of the current chain and people who disagree with the protocols the current chain(BCH) uses will take their support to the new chain and continues developing it. It's more like what you saw when BCH forked from BTC. When BTC was almost hitting &20K, BCH's price was around $2700. The price would then continue sliding downwards until today at just $250 while BTC is closer to $20K. You would think BCH would be around $1K today given the recent market upward movements. Even Ethereum is doing better than it price-wise.
3942  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: block.io [ Is Scammer? Has anyone make withdrawal ? ] on: November 14, 2020, 11:20:20 PM
Have no idea as I have never used it but got the following result when I tried to google about scam accusation in bitcointalk against them. Have a visit in this link and get some idea- https://www.google.com/search?q=block.io+scam+site:bitcointalk.org

the link you send is so scary  Undecided, I'm checking now
This is why it's good to make a little research before using a service or website as a precautionary measure to avoid getting scammed. When so many people complain about a service then it simply means that you can not trust it with your money or Bitcoins.
3943  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptoCourierMart Legit? on: November 14, 2020, 09:31:18 PM

There is a company called halvmining posting when I searched z15 on this site.
Are they legit ?
halvmining is scam

How about prominerz ?

I bought a machine from them ... with hosting package for .06 kw/h.
It was up & running within days but they've been doing maintenance the past few days.

Anyone else use prominerz ?

Thanks ...
Prominerz are also shady and scam. It's so sad that you already sent them money

3944  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: November 14, 2020, 08:07:34 PM
Most of the time I used instant withdrawal feature from bustadice that is why I asked the question which I had in my mind for few days.Yes as you said normal withdrawal fee is cheaper and it may arrives in the next few hours but you can't say that it will happen all the time because in my experience it may take upto 24 hours at rare cases which I don't want to face to be honest.Waiting is painful. Grin
@Lakai01  is right, For my case too, I have never had to wait for so many hours for my withdrawal to be approved. It usually takes around 6 hours or less. What I do is make a withdrawal late in the night, By the time I wake up, I find when the BTC is already in my wallet.

Bustadice's flexible fee option is one of the fairest among casinos and exchanges. Most just have a fixed withdrawal fee which is usually very high regardless of the average transaction fee rate at a given time.
3945  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Arcticminers.com SCAM Website Review. on: November 13, 2020, 11:57:53 PM
NordicProduct AS is the holding company and the financial company behind ArcticMiners and ArcticHoldings. Its the company that handles the Bank Transfers, so we have their VAT number on the website.
We have updated the details on our website to be more transparent, as we are still in the start of this B2C venture.
Sounds even more suspicious. So you had to wait for someone to point it out before you updated such information on your website?
It seems to us that you are not confident about the initial information and might be trying to hide something.
3946  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Didnt store 12 word phrase for coinbase wallet on: November 13, 2020, 10:24:42 PM
That was careless. Once you create a wallet, and they tell you to back it up It's not a joke. It's a serious matter because as soon as you send money to those addresses, it simply means that your money is in your care. Coinbase has no control over it except just provide you a wallet app with which you can use to spend the money.

Those seed phrases or private keys you see are literary the key to spend your money. Lose any of them and you have lost your money forever. Refuse to back them up and this means you have refused to back up your money
3947  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 13, 2020, 09:23:00 PM
It is possible that there is a conflict somewhere between the site's plugins and your browser's add on if not your computer resources. You should try to install another browser (chrome if possible) and check if it fixes the issue.
Anyway, have you installed Microsoft Edge?  Does it fix the problem?
You are right. I did install a fresh Microsoft Edge browser and it loaded without any problems. I also uninstalled all the add-ons I had on FireFox, and I was able to access the site with no challenge. I think one of the add-ons was causing the issue though I am yet to figure out which on it was.

3949  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 12, 2020, 11:53:10 PM
All browser works fine here.  Try clearing your browser's cache, possibly it will work.  Else, the problem might be on your internet connection.  Often times, when my connection is very sluggish, Roobet's site won't load.
My connection is Ok, like it said most websites load smoothly including exchanges but for the case of Roobet, the homepage loads well but after that, the whole browser just freezes. You can't even close the tab or window since the close button also becomes non-responsive until I just have to restart the computer. I am going to try download a fresh Microsoft Edge browser and try out since I only use Firefox right now.

I do have a few add-ons, Could they be the root cause?
1. HTTPS Everywhere - disabled for now.
2. UBlock Origin
3. LanguageTool
4. MetaMask
5. Bitwarden
6. Archive Page

Maybe his provider is blocking access to gambling sites include roobet.
I don't think it would be the case because the homepage loads well and freezes afterwards. So I thought maybe it was something to do with the website's script
3950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitfex.pro / OEN is fraudulent ICO coin on: November 12, 2020, 11:23:01 PM
I think Bitfinex is attempting to cover their losses from the bitcoin theft which occurred to them.
Since the graphs are similar looking. Bitfex.pro has been created in September of 2020 and the fraudsters are going through different social media. The Singapore police and Hongkong Digipol and Japanese police have been notified
i don't think Bitfinex would stop that so low. Just because someone created an exchange that has a domain name that is closely similar to bitfinex doesn't mean they are now trying to hide their asses. Scammers use that trick to phish customers of popular exchanges.

The domains are using copy-paste scripts used for OKex exchange.
Check out the similarity
1. https://www.okex.com

Scam domains with similar design, all just created a couple of months ago
Code:
http://bitfex.pro
https://tatbit.com
3951  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OWNR wallet. Buy, exchange and store crypto. Licensed service. on: November 12, 2020, 10:24:06 PM
It may seem so, but this price already covers resources which will be adequate for 3-4 transaction per day.
1. How much of the EOS gets staked to cover the RAM, CPU and Bandwidth resources?
2. Is it possible for one to just import their EOS address they created sometime back?
3952  Other / Meta / Re: Why was my reply deleted? on: November 12, 2020, 10:01:25 PM
I think such a complaint would be suitable in the Meta board rather than Reputation because it involves forum moderation policy. I think your reply didn't deserve to get deleted but once in a while this kind of thing happens to each of us when a post is reported. Don't feel bad about it.
3953  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 12, 2020, 09:29:30 PM
How do you guys manage to log into Roobet.com? What browsers do you use?

I tried creating an account on the website but just a mere loading the home page freezes my Firefox browser until I have to restart the computer. I thought maybe Windows was the problem, So I tried it on Ubuntu, I got the same problem.
My Computer hasn't had any problems loading working site in the past.
3954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bch fork on: November 12, 2020, 04:37:12 AM
I just want to ask. Will the BCH hard fork provide benefits for the holder? will the price of BCH increase?
It depends on what you term as benefits. The only slightly positive thing I see is that the BCH holder will get a forked coin after the snapshot. But about the price of BCH, don't let them lie to you. BCH price will only continue to tank especially after many traders decide to sell because most are holding it right now for just the snapshot.

Look at this graph, ETH, BTC and other coins have at least recovered, but BCH hasn't. It doesn't seem good, does it?

3955  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to convert INR, Ruble, and Nigerian Naira (NGN) to neobenk.com accounts? on: November 11, 2020, 10:24:24 PM
So the "Digital Bank" does not have payment or deposit options yet be we already have "happy customers" making positive reviews of how excellent the service is already  Roll Eyes

Great and Very Reliable Bank
Easy to access and view my accounts. NeoBenk supports multiple currencies such as USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, SGD, AED and also Bitcoin and other major crypto currencies.
I would highly recommend NeoBenk.

I started using NeoBenk not too long ago. So far, I haven't had any transaction problems. Very satisfied with NeoBenk. Very convenient digital banking. Futhermore, it has a really professional and competent customer service you can chat with anytime of the day. I recommend!

These are obviously fake reviews and any service that would create fake reviews might a well be complete scam
3956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6 countries have more than 50% of BTC exchange traffic on: November 10, 2020, 11:10:41 PM
I would not take the website visit statistic seriously because i believe very many people use VPNs. I personally use a VPN for most of my crypto related activities and guess what? In case my subscription has expired, default free available IP address locations include US, Germany, Canada, Netherlands...  Cheesy
3957  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to convert INR, Ruble, and Nigerian Naira (NGN) to neobenk.com accounts? on: November 10, 2020, 10:57:09 PM
Do you know any reputed exchange website which converts Indian Rupee (INR), Ruble (RUB) and Nigerian Naira (NGN) to neobenk.com currencies?

Need some advice from people to help me out.
What neobank currencies? You haven't mentioned them.
But I thought they claim to be a "bank", Banks usually have so many payment or withdrawal options.

What kind of service claims to the likes of PayPal, web money, Skrill built offers no solutions for exchanging to local currencies

That means all the claims in the image above are impractical
3958  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptoCourierMart Legit? on: November 10, 2020, 10:11:28 PM
I purchased a z15 from crypto courier mart on sep 5 for $3200 with bitcoin.
I was referred to them by a hosting company in the US called quotecolo

I just found this forum ... and see that their website no longer works because it expired and was always set to expire Nov 1st.

Their alleged office is / was in Las Vegas. That's where the phone number is from when they called me on whatsapp.
LVPD suggested I contact FBI internet crimes with this link   www.IC3.gov.

.... I filled out the complaint form a few weeks ago, but have heard nothing from them.
Quite sad to know that you fell for the scam. Next time please try to put a lot of energies in first researching about a mining equipment seller before making any purchase. If you could have come to this thread earlier, your money could have been saved

To the commenters that said to contact manufacturers directly, I have written bitmain a dozen times & everything I ask for is always sold out.

If I'm missing anything, please let me know

Thank you !!
Yeah, they have been having troubles in the past few months. At one point, they weren't even taking or shipping out orders. Check out some of these threads, you might get an idea on what's going on.
- Bitmain not shipping orders?
- http://"Bitmain shop is under maintenance." - Bitmain bankrupt or possible return?
- I don't see Bitmains supply issues improving
3959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: November 08, 2020, 11:46:23 PM
Damn bruh , valencia doing a crazy comeback right now against real madrid, there's 3 penalty given for valencia, it's a madness .. with this .. you guys never ever pessi or penaldo again lol.
So should we change the name of the Hattrick penalty Hero from Carlos Soler to "Penlos" Soler?  Grin

Watching us take a lead then lose 4-1 to Valencia was terrifying. Our defense was in shambles. One of the biggest problems we have right now is Varane. He isn't that old, but he seems very nervous at the back every time the opponents applies pressure, and he ends up making silly error
3960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Lost password for MEW wallet on: November 08, 2020, 10:42:55 PM
Or maybe this article can help you as well: How to Recover your Lost MyEtherWallet (MEW) Password, best of luck recovering your password.
Care has to be taken with such articles. They always prey on desperate people and use that to their advantage to scam. I am not sure how reputable the person behind the article is but I wouldn't trust sending any Keystore file for them to crack the password. What if they manage to crack the password and never return the Ether

This is what they said
Quote
"We also provide a password recovery service, and we would be happy to take your Keystore file along with your password guesses and run millions of variations to find your password.  Contact us if you’d like more information"
