Now that’s a finish!  That’s something City needs right now.  A proper finisher and a guy who can take it from outside the box.  KDB should quit being a soy boy and man up.  These guys aren’t worth the money they got spent on imo.  Tends to become very stale in the attacking third.  Again IMHO.
3942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 28, 2021, 08:21:16 PM
^  Jfc..  That guy is done.  I don’t know how many more outs the UFC can give him right now.  And it really sucks cos we never saw him fight against the elite at HW.  But then again Dana White will prolly let things cool off and see if he can still fix this shit with Jones.

Edit:  And what did his wife do?  Was there a reason why she got beaten up?  There has to be a reason.
3943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 28, 2021, 07:19:11 PM
What a mistake from Lando Norris he threw away his first victory in formula one.

Fun race especially in the end with a deserved podium for Sainz.

Bottas is a ghost.

But is it totally just Norris’ fault or is his team is also part of the blame?  I think the guys on the radio should have been firm that he needs to pit right away.  From the limited info we have with what we heard with the team radio, it looked like the guys on the other end were not firm or maybe were not even sure heavy rain was coming.

I’m gonna do some reading and see what I find...

No bets but I feel like City vs PSG would end up low scoring.  Probably under 2.5 goals, maybe even both teams to score.  1 - 1?   I haven’t checked the lines but 1 - 1 correct score, draw and the BTTS under 2.5 goals combo could be in play here.  Dunno...  What do you guys think?
3946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 27, 2021, 05:35:08 PM
Some observations:

-Transaction volume is spiking.
-The last time we saw a spike like this was between the 18th and the 23rd of July

-Price (in BTC) and trading volume around that time was not significantly changing
-Price in USD was dropping into this rise in volume because Bitcoin was also dropping

-BTC price is acting somewhat similarly now.
-This activity in July occurred at a local BTC bottom.

I am not rally drawing any conclusions about this. And we have yet to see if the spike continues or is an anomaly.

But it is all interesting.

Thinking about this again...  Would you guys think all the transaction spikes have a connection with what’s going on in China?  There’s prolly lots of financial fraud going on over there waiting to be exposed.  And those people know BTC ain’t the coin to use if they have lots of stuff to hide.  Lolol.  Cheesy  ‘How you guys liking XMR now?’.
3947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 26, 2021, 02:58:29 PM
I expected Brian Ortega to change his fortunes as he went to war in the past and failed to win the title and i thought this is his chance to win the title and yet again failed to win against Alexander Volkanovski.    Valentina Shevchenko win was expected and good to see that the fight went till the 4th round.
Ring rust of Nick Diaz was evident in the first round and Robbie Lawler was too good for him and hopefully we will see Nick Diaz active as this will be the last phase of his career.

Here are the results

Pic taken from Wiki.

It wasn’t just ring rust.  He looked like he didn’t want to be in there.  And he didn’t look like he trained much for the event.  Lolol.  He was sloooow.  The Diaz of old is gone.  And how was that match supposed to be for 5 rounds?  Cheesy  He should retire.

I’m break even for the event.  Lost the Pearce vs Morales bet.  Pearce improved a lot since switching to another gym.
3948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: September 26, 2021, 02:52:49 PM
^  Southampton sucks now.  Maybe that could be the result two years ago when Hasenhuttl first arrived at the club.  But then again a couple of years ago the Wolves was showing a lot of promise under Nuno.

And yeah I think the under 2.5 is in play for the Gunners vs Spurs match.  But I’m not too sure about the result.  Yeah Spurs hasn’t won at the Emirates in their last how many matches vs Arsenal but Tottenham should be looking for a come back here after two straight losses.  And that draw no bet at 2.32 for Tottenham is tempting.  Lol.
3949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 26, 2021, 02:42:46 PM
Lol driver of the day:  Lando Norris.  Cheesy

But in the end it all worked out for Verstappen.  Tentative results in the driver’s championship before the rain, he was 5 points behind Hamilton.  After the rain he’s just behind Hamilton by a couple of points.

^  That’s money ball.  A lot of the people are skeptical if the philsophy would work in football.  Liverpool tried it under King Kenny but they did it wrong.  With Brenford they obv are doing it right.  It’s all thanks to the owner Matthew Benham.

Liverpool defenders were slow to react vs Brentford.
3951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 25, 2021, 03:36:45 PM
It’s going to be a good race even tho the track is kinda meh.  We got Norris, Sainz and Russell ahead of Hamilton and we got Ricciardo and Alonso behind him.  Both drivers behind him pretty quick at the start of the race.  Smiley

I took fastest lap for Verstappen at 3.75.  It’s a new engine and he’s motivated to get as much as he can for the race.

My picks for the event are Morales at 1.69 and Daukas, Andrade parlay at 2.17.  Just small bets for fun but trying to be safe and not to lose money too.  Lol.  The rest are just pop and popcorn.

Anyway Stake has their own thing going for the event:  https://promotions.stake.com/ufc-266-triple-winnings/

Triple your winnings in selected matches if your pick finishes the fight.

So I picked Jamie Vardy in my roster and he scored an own goal.  That still counts right?  I mean it should count.  A goal is a goal and an own goal is the hardest goal to make since players try their hardest to prevent goals from coming in in their side.  Cheesy

Edit:  Doesn’t matter..  Vardy scored a goal.  I’m not watching any matches.  Watched some of the first half of Chelski vs City then switched to F1.
3954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 24, 2021, 04:29:50 PM
So I’m hearing Verstappen is starting behind the whole grid due to the engine change..?  I haven’t checked the lines yet but I think a nice spot could be top 6 finish for Verstappen if you could find decent line.  Something around 1.80 and up would def be good.

Edit:  Meh..  1.62 at Stake. No value.  Fastest lap is at 3.75 tho.  With the new engine that’s a good spot imo.

^  Free money guys and all it takes is around 5 minutes of your time.  And it’s fun.

Anyway here’s another one from Fortune Jack this time.  You bet on the main event and if your pick loses via decision, you get your money back:  https://fortunejack.com/promotions/ufc-266

I’m not sure what FJ’s thought process here is but this is an easy spot to lay some action on Ortega.  If Volk wins it’s most likely via decision.

BTC seems to have bounced as soon as 9:00am ET hit.  Let’s see if this is just a dead cat bounce or if it’s a recovery.  Hoping for the latter of course, for all our sakes.  Lol.

Around 15 minutes to go til the next hourly candle...
3958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin dump, Ethereum pump! on: September 24, 2021, 10:55:09 AM
^  Rofl!  Does that face look like a guy who wouldn’t dump BTC?  Cheesy

But here’s the thing tho, if BTC dumps, everything else dumps.  BTC still owns the space, love it or hate it...  I mean just look what happened an hour ago.  BTC dumps then drags everything down with it.

And so...  Euro time zone dumped, let ‘s wait for the US time zone.  They’re due up in a couple of hours or so.  It’s almost 7:00am ET.  There’ll be a lot of broken clocks.
3959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 23, 2021, 03:31:38 PM
^  Exactly.  But will Daniel Levy pay for what United will be asking for him tho.  He stillhas up to 2025 in his contract.  And Marital getting a new big, fat contract at United a year ago is beyond me.  He’s not worth it imho.
3960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 23, 2021, 03:21:42 PM
https://www.instagram.com/reel/CUJL5rBpnBa/ - after seeing these, my prediction to this fight would be Lawler winning it.
https://www.instagram.com/Ruthless_RL/ - he looks more hungry and ready. While Nick is somehow, does not look like he is prepared well. There is a funny comment - "This in slow mo?"  Cheesy

Btw, Diaz vs Lawler fight had to be in welterweight, but several days before the event they were allowed to fight as middleweight. Someone did not manage to make weight. And according to Instagram, this is Nick Diaz. Good point - these veterans wont be exhausted by weight cutting, bad point - Lawler gonna win. Make your bets gentlemen's.  Grin

Yup..  Always put your money in the more active guy.  How many years was Nick Diaz in the sidelines..  And when was his last win?  Around 10 years ago?  That’s a long time.  But I’m skipping it from s betting perspective.  I’ll just get my popcorn and soda and enjoy the match.
