How would the escrow help? He is selling his signature for "lifetime". Would you like the escrow to hold onto the funds for all of eternity?  It's a trust issue, really. |

Amex points are best used for airlines. Round trip coast to coast JetBlue as low as 18,000 points.
Round trip Premiere First on AirFrance NY to Paris on the new A-380, upstairs business class sleeper... 85,000 points. That's a $7500 ticket.
So in terms of Amazon, a waste. In terms of airline ticket value, 50,000 points is $1500-4000 depending on the airline, fare, time of year, etc.
I'm selling because I have 500,000, can't use them fast enough.
