3941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When trading, never ignore the statoshi value of your coins on: January 15, 2020, 04:04:38 PM
Few days ago I decided to utilize some fraction of bitcoin just sitting in my trading wallet to try profiting from the market. Although I may profit when the profits was calculated in dollars but unknowingly I lost massively in Satoshi value. That means assuming I just kept hold of my coins I would had made almost the same value I made with the coins i bought. Many traders haven't realized this yet but just get carried away with the US value of their trades without realizing they lost some satosh in the process.  When training, what are you mostly concerned about, to gain more profit in bitcoin or gain more in usd dollar without minding if you lost some Satoshi value?.
The case you mentioned above is important but you can actually only have profits in terms of the United States dollar only if the price for bitcoin rises up. In this situation, even if you loss few satoshis it won't matter but you would have profits in terms of dollars so it would not be an effective loss. If we are not considering the prices in the US dollar than we will specifically have profits in terms of satoshi and we would start earning a fixed profit in terms of bitcoins only.

For example, if we bought 0.5 BTC and the price hikes up by 2% than you would instantly gain 0.01 BTC profit which would entirely be in terms of bitcoin only. This way, you could boost multiplying the fixed number of bitcoins you have by constantly trading with those instead of selling those for USD and buying back.

3943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 12, 2020, 05:16:19 PM
Even if City wins against Villa which I assume will happen as well, there is a 14 point difference with one game at the pocket as well, that is potentially 17 point difference. Does anyone know what is the record in premier league history about how much difference was between the first and second team at most? Like when a team won the league earliest in the weeks?

I doubt Liverpool will be capable of winning the league anything above 10 games left, that is 30 points and surely won't happen but we are going towards 5-6 games before the league ends Liverpool could declare their championship. I don't recall any team being mathematically champions before the league ended that early, sure there are teams that get it 2-3 weeks before time to time but 6 is not something I can recall at all (although I am fairly young compared to some of you).
3944  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: January 11, 2020, 05:22:14 PM
It is interesting to see people who will still support the website after all that is done. We are talking about people who had thousands of bitcoin, millions of dollars and yet we are still talking about "can't implement new things to outdated website".

I am sorry but with that kind of money you can hire the best developers around the globe for months on out until they finish the websites new version and on top of that add insane amount of games and features, we are not talking about couple thousand dollars here, we are talking about millions of dollars here, they have more than enough money to continue to work like that.

Hopefully, either they will realize they did a mistake by not doing anything so far and quickly change some stuff, or people at least will realize that the team doesn't have best of intentions.
3945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 11, 2020, 04:24:21 PM
I can't really say much about Roma versus Juve or how Sarri likes his tactics because I am not really that much experienced with managers and how their tactics fair against different teams. However reality is that Juve is still leading the league or at least high up there, which means maybe we should not be really too harsh on them?

I mean after all we are talking about a team that still has at least 50% to win the league here and you guys are talking like they already lost the league and they are playing for a place in European cups, they are not doing THAT badly at all. In the end maybe they will miss out on the championship and become the second team, that is literally the worst that could happen this season, and even that is not end of the world tbf because of how much they won.
3946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales keep getting richer and richer while everybody else is losing... on: December 17, 2019, 03:22:37 PM
whales can't do anything if all the people are having a good trading strategy, placing a stop loss is always needed in crypto currency trading if we don't want to stuck in the whale's trap. Whales are getting richer because of the traders who eats their trap and FOMO in every condition but ended up loss or stuck and hold the loss coin for a long time.
Whales do have enough money to manipulate the market but these whales of bitcoin doesn't really need to be whales of the regular financial world. We are talking about new money here, people who became rich thanks to bitcoin only few years ago, they got in 10 years ago at earliest or even closer and now they are super rich thanks to bitcoin and they can make moves that nobody else can do.

Yeah, they could be getting help from other people who are old money but that doesn't mean that old money was involved and now doing whale moves all by themselves. People like Craig Wright do not act alone and they never will but no wall street guy got into bitcoin too early to make whale moves neither. They have the power and bitcoin early birds have the money so together they get richer and richer.
Yea sure, whales are the rich ones so they can play around with the small investors and use them to profit. But, you can still be lucky, and that's if you invest at the early time when there is a bear trend, as the price is going up you will be profiting.

Whales buy a huge amount of coins causing the price to surge, and they use that opportunity to profit, once they have gathered a lot of money they will then sell their coins, causing the price to plummet. That's why cryptocurrency is a risky job and anyone that wants to be part of this has to understand the risks that are involved in it, and when you want to buy you should as well make sure that the amount is what you can risk.
3947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting telegram channel on: December 11, 2019, 06:45:34 PM
I just joined your channel - i didn't find this thread earlier and I am pretty sad for that as I see you have a good streak.
I like the fact that you gamble on big leagues such as Premier League - so I think I am going to follow some of your tips! Good luck and Good profits to everyone!
I am not an expert of reviewing data but at a quick glance of the spreadsheet being shared in the op it is quite obvious that anyone can make such spreadsheet after the events have finished. If there is some way to verify that these are correct then indeed some very good and valuable bets made there and worth having a look but these very well might be just fake data been entered after the events outcome was known.

Hopefully the guy is still giving predictions and making a good run, I will checkout the channel too and lets see if I can make some good ones.
3948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: December 11, 2019, 05:19:17 PM

Bitcoin dominance is above 65% which is something unusual since Altcoins started getting more interest from investors. It also seems that this percentage is increasing steadily for quite some time now. This is not surprising since Bitcoin was the most profitable coin in 2019 and people don't take the risk investing in altcoins anymore, they realized that Bitcoin is less risky as the price almost always eventually recover afterwards when it comes to BTC.

So what  to do you think? Are altcoin getting boycotted, giving Bitcoin an increasing dominance from now on?
Altcoins are good, but this year seems to be really bad for them and a lot of people have been dropping. I have even stopped investing in altcoins and the only cryptocurrency in my portfolio is Bitcoin as it's been more profitable for me than altcoins have ever been. Most of the investors I know have also dumped altcoins to focus more on Bitcoin. If you check the last predictions that were made in 2018 you will notice that a lot of people have predicted that altcoins are not going to increase during the next bull, except maybe a few of them like Ethereum and Litecoin.

Due to lots of scams, new investors may not prefer to risk their money in altcoins but I am sure this kind of situation will definitely change in coming days once some altcoins like dash or waves or BNB will be giving good profits to its investors, I guess people may start investing with it like before.
3949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference? on: December 11, 2019, 03:19:27 PM
Many people want to see their governments adopting crypto currency and using it to replace fiat in their daily life. If it happens futurely, it will be in a centralized way of course. Governments will create their own crypto currencies and force people use it.
But my main concern is: why would they do this if there is already digital cash?
Isn't a centralized crypto currency the same than digital cash? What is the difference, if there is any?

Share your thoughts, please.
You already said it yourself that the government would prefer to create a Centralized cryptocurrency, so there is no need to ask why they don't want to use the current cryptocurrencies we have now, that's because they are decentralized and are not fit to be used as real currencies for any country. Governments are already looking into cryptocurrency and a lot of them have started creating their own cryptocurrency just like China. There are also banks that have created a prototype cryptocurrency.

As for digital currencies, There is a difference between cryptocurrency and digital cash (it's called digital currency and not cash) and I will advise you to do some research to understand it better.
3950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What matters most to online casinos? on: December 11, 2019, 01:11:54 PM
I've been running a topic for the last few days, what attracts most people to online casino and what keeps them?
In my opinion, the most important indicator is the financial situation, as much as you got lost.
If it's not a tense background, it's very important to me that the background is calm and relaxes me.
Your opinion.
Those things least matter according to the logical survey I conduced inside of my head. A casino's reputation, customer service, speed, chat, matters more than any of the factors you mentioned in your thread. You can relax in a calm background while a scam casino fucks you over.
I agree that more than design and anything the authenticity of the casino matters but there is nothing that can guarantee the trustworthiness of the casino. So, obviously the trust part is not included when someone asks the features in the casino that attracts the gamblers. For me, withdrawals and deposits are something that matters the most to any gambler.

Just tell me why primedice stood apart from others? Because, they always made sure the gambler gets their winning instantly and also a faucet which the user can test and once he feels comfortable then he can deposit and gamble with their own money. Almost all other things are not so important.
3951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale revisited on: December 11, 2019, 12:18:56 PM

BTW why did you choose wolf.bet ? I think that house edge is very important in such system. Cryptogames has 0.8% instead of 1%. It also let you bet once per 10 milliseconds (6000 bets per minute 360 000 per hour - 12 M in 1.5 day)

Do they have doges and what is the minimum bet amount there?

Yes,,, they have doges at Cryptogames. Minimum bet is 1 doge though so maybe you do not have enough bankroll. I play on satoshi there because of 1 satoshi min and 0.8% edge. The only thing is what he did not tell you is that the high speed bet is only for VIP players (most wagered in month) or for all players on Monday (today).

House edge very important for martingale;)
Actually when I was new with dice game I did something that worked for me nicely initially, yes there were sessions with loss but mostly I was on the better side of the luck.

My strategy was : bet on 66.6% win chance and make 1 satoshi bet initially until you get at least 2 losses in a row and then increase the stake to 0.1% of balance and if still lost, increase amount by 3x and once you win, just reset.

Personally worked nicely for me, but then again as I did it for larger number of rolls, I faced the sad reality.
3952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider gambling to be a "fun activity"? on: December 10, 2019, 05:38:48 PM
As long as the amount I lost is still under my limit, it is still fun for me.
When I gamble for fun, I will just spend what I can afford to lose only so I wont regret if I lose it all.
The fun of gambling is basically on the process during we are gambling, not at the end when we get the result.
Obviously if the result is good (win) then we will get double fun.
I like the later part of your post basically we all love when we are gambling and not when we have been done with it. The end result of gambling is only loss as we will always play in the hands of the edge house set by the casinos to empty our pockets. But even as a gambler myself I know I will loose money on tennis and cricket but I end up making most of my bets on these events.

I always feel sad when the bet loses so I cannot say there is any fun or joy in loosing but certainly there is much more fun than people think as far as sports betting goes because you know you are not betting on something that you cannot control, in sports betting there are various markets and you can analyse data and you like certain players and teams.
3953  Economy / Economics / Re: The US & China Trade War is Nothing, Worry About Business and Bank Failures on: December 10, 2019, 03:58:46 PM
The way I see things are going I don't think the trade war is ending any time soon. Just today I saw a News on CNBC that China reportedly ordered their State offices to remove every foreign tech which could hit major firms in the United States, like Microsoft, and they have been given three years to carry out the order which came direct from the China's Communist Party.

Analysts have said that there's about 20 to 30 million of such equipment that are going to be replaced. They will start taking actions from 2020, and by 2022 all the foreign equipment will be replaced.
3954  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of banking industry in blockchain on: December 10, 2019, 02:09:36 PM
Hey.
Yesterday I read an article about banks that began to use blockchain and there was pretty impressive list.
They're also described successful cases of using blockchain in banks (if you're interested - here's the article), so I may assume that using blockchain in bank's system is only a matter of time (and money, of course).

Now, the question: why it takes THAT long the smaller banks to go the same way and start using the blockchain?
We should be talking about the bigger banks first and not smaller banks that can hardly make any impact. When the bigger banks starts to go into cryptocurrency there is no doubt that smaller banks are going to follow and so the same, but if you're expecting the smaller ones to do that first, then it's not going to work out.

And any bank that is creating cryptocurrency wouldn't go for the volatile option, they will prefer to create a cryptocurrency that is backed by assets, these are going to be stable coins. And you also have to know that these coins are not going to be a replacement, they are going to work together with fiat and be a faster means of transactions.
3955  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2019, 07:15:15 PM
Holding Bitcoin from now on will do you much good in the future as the price of Bitcoin will rise one day soon. I think one day Bitcoin will do a lot of good and occupy our whole world In other words,In other words, it is likely that this will be the biggest transaction. no sell holding now.
You are right as someone who claimed that he visited future also told publicly that BTC will be a huge thing by 2025. I am not someone who suggest others to buy BTC because it will be huge in future because if I do that, people rely on me if price goes down they will blame me. This is how I explain people, since the existence of BTC the average price of BTC has only gone up. The average price I explain as the every day price divided by 30.

You will notice that yes btc has fallen a bit but then you see on average and even if it has gone down, it's really negligible and when it goes up, it just goes bonkers!

This is my theory of HODLING (I love to use this word  Cheesy) bitcoins
3956  Economy / Gambling discussion / What are crypto casinos/dice houses not caring about multiple accounts. on: November 27, 2019, 08:07:06 AM
As part of my new gambling strategy development, I need to have at least 10 accounts to gamble with.

10 accounts may be with 10 different casinos or with only one casino. More preciously if I have 10 accounts with same gambling house then it would be more helpful as the percentage of house edge will be same (otherwise I may need to fine tune my strategy to withstand against different house edges).

I like to get your opinion from your experiences like what are the crypto casinos which are allowing multiple accounts or who are all not bothering about accessing them through VPN. Also, which casino is more strict about multiple accounts. I plan to access my accounts with different IP around the globe (I mean I do not have plans to access all the accounts from same IP address).

All your inputs are highly appreciated. I checked few houses' TOS and FAQ but most casinos are not explicitly not mentioning about their stand against multiple accounts and accessing them through VPN.
3957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are underutilizing Bitcoin on: November 19, 2019, 08:30:27 PM
There are certain factors that is necessary for this situation to work what you are talking about , not every country is Bitcoins friendly , not everywhere the government is so flexible , not everywhere it is legal to even keep them .
What else could you do. ?
In any country there are very limited things that you can do using the Bitcoins and keeping them is the only option left with them.
These limitations are there because the project is still a new one and as we progress in the use of bitcoin personally which will make it to expand, I believe that those countries will start becoming very friendly and if you see those countries that are cryptocurrency friendly now, they did not just become friendly, they were all at a point too once against the use of cryptocurrency which we can see that they finally gave in to it after seeing that it has lots of benefit to the economic and to their citizens.

It is only authoritative government that I see not accepting the use of cryptocurrency which I think we only have very few of them and even if all the bigger countries are accepting it, they might not get to accept it at any time now or in the near future.
3958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Claimed He Would Reveal a Critical Bug in BTC and LTC - Then Didn’t on: November 19, 2019, 06:53:30 PM
I don’t know why people still like to waste their time in paying any sort of attention to this attention seeker and as we are holding on to any of his words, we are already making him to achieve that which he wants to achieve which I think is just to get popularity for their own sake or for the sake of any project that they intend to create in the future, and the most funny thing is that this guy is really getting popularity as in the cryptocurrency world now, there is virtually no one that does not know him, and if he is to come up with any project now even if it is to dupe people, they will still accept it because I cannot believe that despite all this crazy man has done, people still holding on to the bsv coin even when binance had delisted it from their own platform.
3959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Daily Living on: November 19, 2019, 05:32:33 PM
When I accept bitcoin from people or after doing a work, sometimes I don't convert it quickly too, I leave it and wait to see if the price will go up a bit, sometimes it will go down. And sometimes I just leave it in my wallet because I like opening my cryptocurrency wallet and seeing some money in it, and watching the charts and all that, it's really cool.

Using bitcoin daily is a difficult thing where I live, or should I say that it never happens. One thing I have done is go to the ATM to withdraw my Bitcoin but that's with a Bitpay debit card (it isn't a BTC ATM, there isn't one where I live). Apart from that, whenever I need to use the money I always end up selling the coins and sending the money to my bank account before spending it.
3960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between ICO's and IEO's on: November 18, 2019, 08:08:18 PM
You might also check this article "IEO vs ICO: What Are the Differences?"

IEO are purely just a remodelled ICO's, but somehow IEO's are way more better if conducted on good exchanges however you might still lose your money If you had invested in a wrong company.
Which is why we need to rely on IEO from these very quality exchanges if we really want to get the right company because those top exchanges have done all the work to ensure that they work with companies that also have reputation just like them, because those exchanges like binance really value their reputation, and they would do everything possible too to make sure that any company they are allowing on their exchange is such that will not bring shame or tarnish their own image.

I think it will be worth if we look into these top exchanges IEO, but we still have to make sure also that we do a very firm research on those projects too, because scammer can be very deceptive and no one is really above mistake, the exchange could make a big mistake in falling into one too.
