Despite that Arsenal get the win today and have better performance in general, not winning any of the top 5 - 6 teams won't lead anywhere. If they want to be again among those teams and named as contenders for the title, they will need to win them or at least not lose. At least for now, the difference between Arsenal and Chelsea - Liverpool - Man City is more than big... Yeah, I get your point but honestly it would ensure that they don't miss out on a chance to play in Europe next season like they did this season. It's not as if Arsenal has the same firepower like most of these competitors but it's an improvement so far being able rack points against teams which lost some points to last season, and If they keep up with the trend until January or February, a place in at least Europa league would almost be a guarantee. |
