Altcoins are much better way to increase number of BTC than btc vs fiat trading.
When we talk about unrealized gains, yesterday was a third month when I cashed out like 5 BTC. That's how I decided to hedge and gain some realized profits - selling for 4-5k$ per month. It's quite enough to live more than comfortably and to spare at least half of that where I live.

^^^^^^ [& thanks for not using that over used Picard WTF meme] Well too each his own. For myself, I started with X bitcoins. I added 1.25X bitcoins through mining, and then about 1.25X bitcoins through trading. And than I lost about 75% of my bitcoins through scams, failed group buys, and mostly one really bad investment (riding asicminer stock down from 4 btc to .8 btc). So that's why I AM HODLING. To each his own. I think for us bitcoin-heads here in this forum, hodling isn't such a bad idea -- we are the minority (I presume ?). I think the majority of new money (that drives the btc economy) is coming from new people entering who are not hodling, so there is still enough new-bucks money to keep the bitcoin economy improving, which is the most important thing. I can't say I'm sure though. These are my current guesses. The more people holding the more stable the price is, so I don't see that as a negative. It is only negative when so many folks are hodling that the economy doesn't have enough gas in the tank to run, but that is not happening IMHO. AM is a steal now... gen 3 soon. AM is Chinese company, it's a big risk these days to invest in Chinese Bitcoin company.

However, if it wasn't for China:
* the price of a Bitcoin would still be US$ 10 or so; Lol is all I have to say on this, China was irrelevant until Bitcoin was 200$ in October or so However, I don't care. China, you helped us, thanks, goodbye. Chinese guys, buy on Stamp , fuck your government.

What's up Igorr, how you're doing with your 200$ coins? Or it was less?

Reason for trading on the Gox is same it is for months - to gain more coins.

I'm never sure in anything Bitcoin related, that's why I said it might hunt me one day.
I'm still enjoying to see some of the big mouth bears hurting though.
Yup. Always have some dry powder available and never sell all your bitcoin. 30k on Stamp waiting for cheap coins since December. Will touch them if coins get cheap or if choo choo would be very much wow obvious while I got you on the line, mind voicing your opinion on how these Chinese exchanges make their money while offering 0% fees. I don't trust that one bit. Manipulation

These words might hunt me one day but boy, I'd be pissed these days if I'd be a bear.
Oh dear! You can be pissed by both, beeing bear or bull. We go back to 800,00$ and than? Not really, I'm perfectly fine of it staying around 800$. I never expected it to go to 2k so soon after last ATH. But poor bears are expecting 400-500 coins for weeks and there were 10 situations when they got giddy just to price go back to 800 in hour or two. It must have been a painful experience for them.

Whenever there is a large sell at Huobi that moves the price way down, immediately afterwards there is a transaction by 0.01 BTC at the upper end of the spread, restoring the old price.
Does that counts as "manipulation"?
Frankly my dear, I don't give a shit

Looks bit flat, I feel some tension in the air. I am negative for some other stuff though so it might be a wrong perception.

Again? Come on people, I have some fiat that started to stink waiting for your dumps

Seems that the price of btc has maintained right around the $800 level on all exchanges for a fairly long time (except for Mtgox) - and it is doing so a little bit too conveniently. With the stock market making big moves and various big news stories coming out about Turkey, Argentina, BTC china accepting deposits again, etc, you would think there would be bigger moves. My guess: the large btc holders are trying to reduce volatility in btc to remove this stigma about it. They do so by capping rises and putting a floor on dips. Manipulation is manipulation. Let the market take it where it wants to go.
lol "manipulation" SEEMS LIKE YOU WANT TO BUY CHEAPER Pera, looks like you joined wonderful bull camp these days
