Antminer S1 currently mine at about 0.00012653 BTC per day without overclocking. (Current Difficulties: 3,815,723,799) *Pool luck may increase or decrese the mining rate.
That's not true. My Antminer mines much more than that and it is not overclocked. Maybe this is just a typo?

Your questionnaire is missing a question:
Did you ever buy drugs or any other products from SilkRoad?
Hahahahahahaha LOL
well it does ask if you every purchased any goods or services.... up to you how you classify your above habit.... Does anyone know, are there any brothels that are open to accepting BTC as a method of payment.... that would be interesting, considering how often most of you IT freaks frequent such a location ;-) I don't think you got my point... Bitcoin is meant to provide anonymity. You are asking things that you can never know unless someone tells you. Also, as far as your idiotic comments, No I do not have a habit of purchasing goods from SilkRoad, and I don't need to visit brothels (unlike you, who cannot get any ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ). I am happily married and even before that I had a VERY active and happy sex life. And I never paid one single cent to have sex. That is against my beliefs. Anyways, good luck with your research.

I must admit. I have never heard of this Bitcoin Foundation before this post.
What is it that they do exactly?
The do exactly what they were doing before you ever heard of them: NOTHING. I guess that's why I have never heard of them ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

As if the Bitcoin owners there won't find another way to cash out their coins.

I personally prefer giving money to the ones in need directly.
My profession has allowed me to get familiar with many of these "organizations", and let me tell you that they ARE ALL STEALING YOUR MONEY and pretending to do something good.
These people should be locked up in jail together with rapists.
That should give them an idea of what is like being screwed.

Breaking that down, about 95 percent of Bitcoin users are men, about 61 percent say they’re not religious, and about 44 percent describe themselves as “libertarian / anarcho-capitalist.” Hm, I did not give any information about my political or religious preferences anywhere... Neither did I. Also, how does one classify one other as not being religious? By not believing in God, or their God for that matter? How did she come to that conclusion? We are talking about 61% here.

I thought the new ones came with a 6-pin PCI-E plug as well as the wire terminals, which means you don't have to modify.
Yes they do come with 6-pin PCI-E plugs.

I know this person. I buy him 3 antminer s1 + psu and received nickel.

You mean you sold him 3 antminers or bought from him? And did the deal go through as it should?

You should also note that CYPER is a normal member of this forums and he is from Bulgaria.
That being said, I think this newbie is trying to implicate CYPER in this.
CYPER is a very intelligent person from what I have seen in his posts. And he definitely wouldn't use his name to scam others.
SO, OP, who are you? Do you really have the machine?
Use the address in my signature and mine to it for 10 minutes at full speed using eligius.
Post the eligius status page here.
Until then, I am considering this a scam.

I see Bitmain has now opened preorder for the Antminer U2+ And the S1 is now listed as "Up Coming" and can no longer be ordered... I hardly see any spec. difference for the U2+ though.
I wonder if this means we'll see an S2(+?) launch this week.
I noticed that too. Usually it says out of stock. Who knows maybe there will be an S2. Shame I spent all my coins on other stuff :/

I have sent to this address.
SO?
You are suspect. Yes... BTC_Bear is a suspected member of the group Satoshi. What? That's stupid. There is no group Satoshi. I am Satoshi ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Now please, I have tried to be logical about this, but you people keep claiming my hard work ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Seriously itemgirl, it is nothing but spam. Other users got some too. Look it up in the forums and you will see this is correct. Absolutely there is a group Satoshi. Satoshi Nakamoto was not a single man. And you base this on what?

Anyone else willing to donate any BITMAINtech.com coupons?
The 0.2 BTC were given to the ones who bought an Ant for 2.2 BTC+ After that they gave a 0.02 BTC coupon. Now, no coupons coz their price keeps dropping.

Hey guys. For the recent Ant I received, I noticed something particular—when I attempt to attach a 2nd fan to the front, the factory installed fan sounds like it spins up to max RPM, and the 2nd fan does not power up. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I confirmed it is not the fan I’m trying to add, as I can put it on other Ants, and it works just fine. Furthermore, when I take a known good fan from another Ant and try to use it on the new one, I get the same behavior of factory fan spinning up to full speed and known good fan does not power up. The fans I use have an LED built-in, so I can tell that the fan appears to not even be getting power. Anyone else seen this behavior? If so, is there a fix to be found in the web management interface or otherwise? I have posed the question to Bitmain as well, so I'll keep you all posted on what I hear back from them. Thanks in advance. Hi, did you try to power the second fan directly from the PSU and not have the S1 control it? Of course it will work 100% all the time but try it.

It is insane to waste energy on mining bitcoin in the age of peak oil where greedy energy companies destroy nature for profit. Right now all bitcoin miners consume the amount of the energy produced by an average US nuclear power plant (30 million KwH/day), or the total oil production of Phillipines (12,000 barrels of oil per day) The mining of bitcoin uses PoW (Proof of Work) to secure the network, which leads to an exponential growth of energy spent on mining. All miners compete against each other and must increase mining power (energy usage) to increase their chance of being rewarded in the mining process. But there are other models to secure a crypto currency without the need to waste energy: The security model of PoS (Proof of Stake) relies instead of the ownership of coins. The reason is simple: the more coins you own, the less is the risk that you wish to damage the coin for short term profit, since you would lose the value of your current holdings. So I hope Bitcoin evolves and starts to use PoS, or similar methods to save energy and save the nature. Soon. All everyone in this thread is doing, is comparing Bitcoin to other things such as how much electricity is used by banks etc etc, Stop comparing and realize that Bitcoin is just Contributing to the problem... Really guys..this makes me loose faith in humanity lol. Great! Go about your way then and leave us morals waste our money and time on Bitcoin.
