3941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some millionaires hate Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2021, 08:42:55 PM
One of the reasons I feel some millionaires hate bitcoin is because of the bitcoin success! Bitcoin defies all they've used to know amidst all odds against it and hit unimaginable market caps in just few years. It tends to surprise them and as such, they believe its not sustainable and in that instance, they forget times are changing rather rapidly. Some others see it more as a competition,  even if they are not in the same field of business, the growth rate becomes what they tend to compete about. Sadly,  bitcoin ain't about them, there company or any of the variables they look at. Bitcoin is just there for the people to use as they please and an easy life for the knowledgeable or those with the know how.
3942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 17, 2021, 08:37:54 PM
It would have been a terrible thing for Netherlands not to have won Austra in today's match day live. They had all the chances especially Memphis and they missed almost all of it. The biggest mistake from the Austra side was for them to have given that early minutes penalty.  It so much destabilised their game plan even without them noticing it becuase, everyone was just anxious for a goal and the game went into a rush for them, breathing forth several errors. Erros that were uncalled for when all they needed was just to play a very calm game. In the second half, they came in strong but now that they've got 2 goas against them at Austra, the game is almost done.
3943  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: June 17, 2021, 04:12:37 PM
Money can't buy happiness but it can help you to be happy, better to cry on a roof that doesn't leak and have a car and an insurance and investment rather than smiling through without any way to find food for the next day, being happy without money is just ignoring the problem which is being broke.
Its funny when I hear people say that "Money can't buy happiness"! For real? Have you ever taken your child out to the park, thats if you have one or taken your family out for a picnic and watch them have all the fun they can? Even if its an unhappy family that goes about keeping malice with each other while at home... that momentary joy is what money can afford you. Money can buy you happiness but, its temporary! Once the money stops or goes away, the joy that came with it is gone.
And yeah, pretendingto be happy when you've got nothing as per money is actually paying ignorance to the problem.
3944  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money the root of all evil as the poor to thinks? on: June 17, 2021, 04:00:08 PM
In fact, that saying "the love of or Money is the root of all evil" should be reviewed and rephrased again. Who on earth won't want to be rich. What even is the love of money? I tell you, if you don't live money, then you can see a pan handler on the street and walk by without giving the pan handler some spare cash. After all, it means less to you...Money guarantees comfort and satisfaction. So long as you have money, your mind can be at peace but when you don't, your in constant search for money and it makes you worry, always thinking whats the next step to get some money and fit your bills. This eventually can push you into doing things that under normal circumstances, you won't have done.

Okay, why is it that, poverty or unemployment is then the reason behind most insecurity challenges of a place? Have you ever thought of that... is it the love of money?
Infact, Poverty is the root of all evil!!!

3947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most optimistic result of Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2021, 11:30:40 AM
The most optimistic result for bitcoin as I see it would be a global adoption.  This would be the phase where the potent of bitcoin would be unleashed to the world and would be an added advantage for those who already own some from this moment because it would be way valuable even to the least sat. Though, a stabilisation might be attempted i guess but then, its worth would be something really precious. I don't see bitcoin replacing fiat, not even fir the next 1000years and thats me. The best that could be hoped for is a working together or coexistence. Fiat is a nations identity and no nation and is centralized at that. No nation would want to loose what they have control over for what they can't.  I don't see that happening.
3948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the motive behind the anti gambling campaign on: June 17, 2021, 08:59:53 AM
~snip~
^ Probably OP means that in gambling, not all become to win there should be a loser. Trading and gambling are totally different but it seems like they are like a coin, two different faces but still, it is a coin and that is how gambling and trading are, they are both capable of managings financial your fund. On the other side, governments always protect their people from possible addiction that probably can't manage themselves.
Perhaps OP meant it relatively. Like making a comparison between the way gamblers and investors can loose in their fields subjectively and immediately paint it black. Especially when its got to do with trying of stocks for unexperienced investors. It always feels as though, the market is targeted on them. Other than this, then its very much to note that gambling and investing is mutually exclusive. They aren't the same or related in anyway. The tricks that works in investing and that of gambling are very much different. Gamblung is basically based on luck and a few experience but investing could be studied objectively and one could be acquinted with the tricks about it.
3949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the motive behind the anti gambling campaign on: June 16, 2021, 09:15:54 PM
Over the years, gambling has attached himself with a reputation that makes even gamblers look immoral in the sights of men. This is mostly due to the unregulated nature of the trade back  then, as most gambling where done without any clear supervision or wasn't conducted with fairness. Now, the government came into play and gambling became very legal and a taxable aspect of the society for which national and state revenue are generated for the benefit of a nation. Gambling is never a bad thing, its a willing full act reserved for the matured minds and financially capable. Hence, fighting a thing born out of freewill is just an abuse of the right to free expression. Gambling is here to stay but in accordance with the law.
3950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: June 16, 2021, 08:58:32 PM
On the issue of Ronaldo and Messi, I think its more of a personal thing. I would stick with Ronaldo anytime any day because for me, he is a that vitality player. The one player that shines through all seasons and across leagues. He tests himself and overcomes his huddles. Thats who Ronaldo is and what a great player should look like. They are both great players for sure and I don't see any set or two players like them in the football field even for the next decade. They've both succeeded in raising the quota for what a good or best player should look like but Ronaldo remains the guy for me.
3951  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earning your first merit on: June 16, 2021, 05:36:22 PM
Not having a finite way to qualify a post simple means, a quality post is what a user defines it to be. With the way the forum has placed it (@quality post), Its more like the law which is subject to interpretation based on what the law Court at any instance says it is. Thats how infinite the determinant of a quality of a post can be. So long as it helps a person or user in a way or goes about to bring about the understanding of a concept or a contradicting view and perhaps adds to it in a way, it could be seen or regarded as a quality post.

There is every possibility that, a supposed quality post might not be merited while some undermined post gets not just merit but merits. In as much as this is possible, it doesn't mean a user would go about meriting just any posts as he or she pleases. Especially in large amounts, it raises suspicion, could be quarried and prosecuted. In essence, merit abuse isn't allowed.

3952  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where is giveaway thread? on: June 16, 2021, 04:45:04 PM
This is a comic thread seriously. What? 'Where is giveaway thread'! I literally laughed really hard when I saw the title of this thread. Unfortunately, there would always be those that think there are free stuffs lying around here and there. Somehow they begin to feel they are the treasure hunters to seek it out. Well, @OP and those who share in this idea, times have changed and uou all should too. There are no free stuffs in our world today. Having that singular idea alone is a way to hinder your growth in many ways, it keeps you from investing and you fund yourself not giving your time to things that would increase you so long as, it doesn't come on a gold plata.
My best advice for you is to seek increase through hard work and learn to identify opportunities in the most difficult of circumstances.
3953  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Knowing Bitcoin on: June 16, 2021, 04:07:03 PM
I think the only thing that complicates things for this thread is the topic heading. You might want to change that for it to get more attention and contribution. Its a good piece of educating your trying to do here, as much as the topic might be click bate enough, the content doesn't point to a problem or solution or perhaps some unique idea to unfold. So, you might want to check that out.

Again, as much as address are random, they are tied to a particular wallet and private key or seed phrase and as the owner or controller of that seed phrase or private key, it is as though the address is tied to you. Though, you remain completely anonymous.
3954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 15, 2021, 09:44:32 PM
I don't know which team is the more unlucky one, either France who had 2 very beautifully worked goals (Goal by: Kylan Mbappe and Karim Benzema) disallowed due to offside or Germany who had all the game at there grasped but were very much unable to find the net.

I have to give it to the France team anyway, they did put in all the effort to ensure that they defend there 1 goal which was an own goal advantage from the early minutes of the first half to the final whistle. Despite several substitution from the German side, they couldn't affect the result much while France had only 1 substitution which was with Benzema for Dembele. Now thats what a team with a formation set to win looks like. You set them in place and watch them deliver the game.
3955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 15, 2021, 08:29:38 PM
Currently viewing the France vs Germany fixtures with France beating Germany by a goal to nothing .France seems to be the defensive side so far with Germany being more offensive as expected with them being the loosing side. I'm just wondering how France could keep that up, at actually defending there 1 goal win so far. They seem to be handling it well though, depending on a counter attack for offence.

Jeez! Kylan Mbappe just got his goal cancelled for an offside. It was too obvious though but the way he curved the ball was just too perfect. Germany can still make a goal out of this game with the way its going.
3956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think Bitcoin is great as an asset and not as a Currency. on: June 15, 2021, 04:40:42 PM
I might want to buy into that idea of yours @OP about the topic heading but then, your content development is not what I very much agree with. Bitcoin might not be stable at a particular rate which makes it unsuitable but having a set of persons or investors buy let's say, 20-30% of it in order to control what happens in the market and determine the future of bitcoiners is far from the possibilities that can be expected from bitcoin in the nearest or far future.
Bitcoin might be worth more as an asset now and even more in the later future bit then, the possibility of it making a general adoption in the main stream only means, there is a part to it that is yet to unfold and it could be good.

3959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 10, 2021, 06:54:11 PM
The belief that the supernatural has got everything to do with the natural is the brains behind the thought that, prayers could actually influence the result in a bet. As far as I can tell, it doesn't matter the words you mutter to yourself or some unseen supernatural. In a game, its always going to be about the game and the moment. The outcomes that plays out is about the mistakes and who uses the errors for an opportunity at that point, especially in sports betting.

In cause of board games like poker and blackjack, its more about experience and the readings. You make use of all you can get for the game. God or supernatural aren't unfair and as such, getting involved with the games would be creating an imbalance in the odds.
3960  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Benefit yourself, not fear on: June 10, 2021, 06:29:35 PM
I don't wish to be negative but I urge you to re-read what you type to spot out errors of articulations and your grammar construction. It would help you pass your message, a better message and it would be received just the way you want it. It pays to be creative here, especially when your visionary and willing to increase your vocabulary about bitcoin. Its an ever growing field and everyday, we learn a thing or two if you are diligent and read a lot.

So, the best way to benefit yourself at this point is to anchor yourself with the core value of the forum which is learning. It might not be the money a lit of persons hope to get but then, it is what would guide you through what you wish to have, how to get it and even more and also, how to protect it.
