3941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any contests for predicting the price of coins? on: July 24, 2021, 03:02:07 AM
The weird thing is, OP talks about how he is good at predicting the price of crypto and there should be some competition on it so that he could make money on it.... yet he doesn't want to give his money away by trading it?? Like what? What is he even talking about? Dude if you are good at predicting then you will trade for real and make money, if you are not good at predicting then you should not even be worried about competition at all because you are not good anyway? Either you are good enough that you could trade for real, or you are not good so competition on predicting should not be something good for you at all. That is just how it works.

I personally did played a "game" where they give you fake money but you trade on real prices and I have been good at it, in the top 100 of 9000 or so entries, but I do not think that you can be like that without actually trusting your real investments neither.
3942  Economy / Speculation / Re: TESLA will re-accept bitcoin & SpaceX owns BTC, said Elon Musk. Ready for pump ? on: July 23, 2021, 08:28:02 PM
It is finally a relief to know that dude invests his own money into these things, however we have no idea how much he invested, like for example if he invested a billion dollars into doge? Or was it 1000 dollars which is nothing to him? We really don't know.

Renewable energy is a mute point in crypto mining because we just use the energy we are not the ones that creates it, it is not like I go buy a coal mine and then attach a bitcoin mining rig to it, I just get electricity from whoever gives me, in this sense Elon expects people to buy solar panels and whatever to make more profit with it themselves? And use renewable energy from their own capitals? I really don't think so. Go convince the energy companies to make their own solar panel farms and then we can get it from them, I am not really in charge of where it comes from, only what I can do with it.
3943  Economy / Speculation / Re: the next checkpoint $13,800 on: July 23, 2021, 07:43:56 PM
This is the type of topics we need, it is a reminder to everyone here that we are sooooo high right now that 13.8k is considered a horrible thing, just a year ago it was nearly a 40% increase from the price we were at, and now it is a hooorrible drop that we do not want anymore.

I do not think that we will hit that price at all but I do believe that there is a good chance we could end up with something that is going to get us happy again, like maybe 40k again, or maybe even higher. Why? Because we have seen what happened when the price tried to go down, when the price fails to go down like that many wealthy people realize that it is time to end up trying to make it go down and start trying to make it go up, that is how they manipulate it. They first try to sell a few to make people get scared and sell even more and then they buy at lower, but if it fails to go lower then they start to buy a bit and make it hyped so it goes up.
3944  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How can you "neutralize" your bitmex-wallet when youre out of the market. on: July 23, 2021, 07:13:12 PM
That is literally what we do? I mean you could always have a stop loss so that you do not lose too much when you are out or when you are sleeping, that is what a stop loss does. You put in an order like "sell if it drops 5%" or whatever and when that happens you end up selling and getting out without you personally not doing anything, you could be asleep and it will still follow your order when it falls that big and you will be lucky if it drops much bigger, like when the price dropped 50% a month or so ago, if you had 5% stop loss you gained a lot of value.

That is probably the only thing you can do, aside from that yeah we just hold and do nothing and sometimes it falls, but mainly it goes up, the price is literally 30k+ right now and that is a record, 1.5 more than the last ATH and that is why many of us like the long term investment even though there are short term falls.
3945  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: not paying? You should unlearn then relearn on: July 23, 2021, 05:59:00 PM
The reason why you should unlearn and relearn is that what works for you now is something that could work for someone else, and eventually a strategy that works for everyone means that there is no unlimited amount of money in the world and hence why it will stop working eventually.

This is why you should always end up with changing your strategy and looking for a new one that will work, because one strategy will not make you profit forever, it is just impossible since more and more people will realize it and use it and breaking the strategy making it not work anymore. So you do not have to unlearn anything, just realize that what worked so far will not work eventually and retry that with some other method, keep finding new strategies all the time, even while making a profit with one strategy, keep testing others as well so that you could be the first.
3946  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 23, 2021, 02:09:48 PM
Here is the link to the youtube channel of Xposed: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0U5sBczEr2ASp4T6hSLvag

He is sponsered by Roobet and gets a free refill of his balance every day. He can keep 25% of his winnings and 5% is distributed to his viewers.
I also like the many promotions that Roobet is doing, but it would be nice if they could offer like a deposit bonus also.
I didn't know who he was so I clicked your link and wanted to see what kind of person he was, I have seen his videos now and watched it a bit, I find it boring myself but it seems like he is loved A LOT, like I mean from the streams to the videos it is insanely watched and loved a lot which is all roobet needs.

Like for example his 500k win video is the most watched video on his channel and that was in roobet as well, it was seriously profitable for him, and roobet lost 500k on that bet so I am sure they would be insanely sad about that, but at the end of the day now they have so many views from just one person, and I think that sort of worths it, I am sure either he will lose some of that back but even if he just gets refill and not lose anything I am sure it is still a good marketing to have millions of views from just one person and god knows how much from all others.
3947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income on: July 23, 2021, 11:45:39 AM
I get that many people want to increase their money without working, and crypto is a great way of doing it, so you invest into crypto but now you want to grow your crypto amount without working as well. However remember that staking is just good only if the price stays the same or goes up and not too many people invest into it.

If too many people invest into it then the APR will drop significantly, if the price falls then APR will drop significantly as well. I rather not invest into something that has such a huge chance of not being worth something, you could have bought cake 4 months ago and farm for the past 4 months and make a loss right now, does that sound good?

I am sure there are tons of people who made a profit as well, but I rather not risk it so I do not do it. Of course if you want to invest into Cake, then farming it as well is not a bad idea, just don't invest only for that income, invest if you believe in the token as well.
3948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in this information? on: July 23, 2021, 09:08:35 AM
It is basically like saying "the royal wedding was aired for 6 billion people all around the world!" that doesn't mean that it was viewed by 6 billion people, it just means that 6 billion people had acces to watch it live, which is a rare thing because even the world cup has less than that so it is a record reached for it.

This is about the same, technically speaking 451 billion dollars could be invested into crypto thanks to this new law, and that is what it's been said here, doesn't mean that it will be that much, that is the max amount that could be reached thanks to the new law, just like how 6 billion people did not watch the royal wedding. Long story short this is a theoretical maximum that could be reached and it will not reach there, even a few billion would be a good deal and that is what we will probably get out of this and nothing more unfortunately.
3949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low market cap coins that you are interested in? on: July 23, 2021, 07:25:51 AM
Swipe. Mine has been this for a long time. I know that it is not looking great, it was at around 120th in the rankings just a month ago or so, and I know you may think that crypto went very low all together so this one dropping is not a big deal for some people but it all went down, so while swipe going down it should have still stayed at the same place, but it went lower than everyone else which is a sad situation.

However I feel like Binance will turn this into some sort of prepaid card type of deal where you will be able to spend crypto anywhere you go, which exists in technology but not for binance, and swipe is owned by binance, when have you seen Binance failing at something they do. Which is why I have high hopes for this token but I am not sure about how great it will be, I am just investing a very small amount into it.
3950  Economy / Economics / Re: End Game? on: July 22, 2021, 07:20:48 PM
Bitcoin is not something that is owned by anyone, or produces anything, there is no product, there is no real value. It is always about me buying some, then waiting for it to go up, then someone else buys from me at higher levels thinking they could wait and sell even higher and it goes like that. This is the nature of crypto which means that the end game will always be people who buy and hope that it goes up, sometimes it falls and makes people lose money but that is fine because that makes sure that we are not a ponzi scheme, there is no guaranteed profit in bitcoin and because of that some people end up losing money, and they have to in order for us to keep going.

I really hope that we could end up making a bit of a profit from here on out but that doesn't mean that the end game is to keep profiting, the end game is to be like gold market or stock market where we go up in the long run, but have downfall time to time in short term.
3951  Economy / Economics / Re: EU wants to ban crypto anonymous transactions and wallets on: July 22, 2021, 05:48:32 PM
I am not shocked that a power that controls everyone's movement would want to ban something that gives people to move money around. They will always hide behind "money laundering" but their banks literally launder money from the cartel, look at Deutsche Bank, they are known to launder money from the mafia and Russian oligarchs, how did all those bad people in the world laundered money when there were no crypto? Did we have zero money laundering before 2008? Of course we had it, and it was done via fiat as well, now they are saying bitcoin needs to be banned in certain ways so that they could ban money laundering which is not even 1% of what crypto is used for.

This is simply a tactic to make sure they have huge control over bitcoin and that's it, we are not talking about something that is actually risky for the world, the worst we could do with it is avoid taxes and that is really not that hard in fiat neither.
3952  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do most cryptocurrencies rise and fall together? on: July 22, 2021, 05:11:10 PM
First of all most coins are tied to bitcoin in the exchange world and that is the greatest reason why they go up and down together, when you check pairs like let's say ABC is a coin name we made up, it is usually BTC-ABC pair that you trade, that means you buy bitcoin with fiat but then you buy/sell ABC with bitcoin, which means if bitcoin drops then the price of ABC drops automatically. That is the biggest reason, but not the only one, for example there are people who get into crypto when it is hype time and get out of crypto when it is bear time, which means whatever those type of people buy they make it higher together and lower together as well

There are also auto trades, like trading bots and leverages and stop loss and liquidation and many things like that which all happens at the same time together as well so that makes it move up and down together.
3953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 22, 2021, 04:31:22 PM
I am very happy that Bucks managed to win a ring, it is a proof that if a star stays in their team and the team is managed properly and coached properly than even a small market team could win a ring, it should be testament towards all the names that built super teams to win a ring, Lebron in Miami, KD in GSW, all those rings were very boring rings that didn't really helped anyone, I would prefer Giannis' only ring over any KD ring honestly because it actually means something.

Giannis slowly becoming 4th favorite player of mine, behind only MJ, Kobe and Lebron, those are all great names that were very powerful against whoever they played, whereas Giannis only has one ring so far but it looks like there is a chance he could keep this up, dude is only 26 years old and if Bucks could profit on this championship and get good free agents this off season then we are talking about a really good future for them.
3954  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Contests 🏆 TvT 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: July 22, 2021, 09:24:36 AM
Slot gives you many chances to hit various multiplier, it is not a game like dice where every bet will be a lose when you do not hit the target.
Lets say I made 500 spins and I made a nice profit already from those 500 spins although I do not get high multiplier, I wont continue to hunt highest multiplier for the contest.
In this case I do not lose anything although I do not get the highest multiplier.
That is the thing about slots, you may make 2x from one, 5x from another, even 0.8 which means you lost but not the whole, and then you may end up hitting the maximum possible. However no matter what this doesn't change the fact that you will be gambling for a HUGE risk and you may end up with losing a lot, people gamble here a lot and at the end of the day reward is waaaay too little, so it is really not that much worth it.

I agree with people that taking this type of huge risk, casino is basically trying to achieve a ton of people going for a high multiplier game with a good amount of loss and not wanting to pay a lot to the winners, that is just not acceptable. I understand that for people who will gamble on slots anyway this is a good thing, because you were about to gamble anyway so who cares how much they are giving, but if you didn't had any intention then this sucks big time.
3955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC fall below $20,000? Bargain hunting? on: July 21, 2021, 10:28:05 PM
It is such an awesome feeling to see bitcoin recover, I really prefer it recover than see it same. What was bitcoin just a week ago? It was always around these prices, but what happened in between really makes me feel a lot better. I rather see bitcoin go from 32k to 28k to 32k again instead of staying 32k for the whole duration, it just shows how awesome bitcoin is and how people still believe that price is cheap right now and buying whenever it goes down is a great discount, even this topic is a proof of that.

As long as people see bitcoin as discounted instead of dropping that is just pure satisfaction for me. Unfortunately I wasn't really at a level where I can buy some more, financially I am not doing great right now, not doing bad neither don't get me wrong, but I have my money tied up with some other stuff so I couldn't buy more, but I do wish I could have gotten some under 30k too, it was just way too great to buy at that level.
3956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TOP25/50 COINS on: July 21, 2021, 01:20:14 PM
I would say that top 50 is a good way to take a look at what coins to buy, but I wouldn't buy ALL top 50 coins, there are still some horrible ones in there. There are even bad ones in the top 10 if you ask me, just to think now, I would not buy doge, xrp, usdt, bch and bsv from what I can think of from top 50, if I take a look at it I am sure I can find a bit more. I understand that there could be some people who like those coins but I personally do not like them. However if you build some 10-20 coin list for yourself from the top 50 then you could actually end up profiting a lot better.

I also always believed that we should have a chance to invest into the "market" as a whole, instead of just one coin you invest into the whole crypto market, just like how you can do it in the stock market where you can invest as a whole if you do not want to buy one company's stock.
3957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still use ETH? on: July 21, 2021, 10:11:41 AM
Ethereum has a much lower gas fee these days so nearly half of all the problems listed here is already gone. I am saying this as a person who favors BSC, but at least ETH is decentralized and that is a very different animal, sure we are going to see more changes in ETH very soon and with eth 2.0 it is going to change a whole lot but even those changes are not made without asking people first, it was asked to community and eth owners and we decided to follow that up so it was asked to us basically.

Secondly BNB is very centralized, Binance controls nearly everything about it, and that is why people do not prefer it, I mean I still do, but I understand the ones that don't, and rest is just not as highly used so why bother. So yeah even though I use bsc over eth, I can still see why people prefer at this point, it is not really as bad as you think it is.
3958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Omg they really DID THIS??? (!NOT CLICKBAIT) on: July 20, 2021, 05:21:50 PM
I am at an age that I stopped really caring about people scamming others. I have seen so many people scam so many others that it is not even a shock to me anymore, it is something I quite expect at this point. It is really not something that bothers me too much, it is something that I come to conclusion that it is normal and we should not be feeling all too bad about it.

I know that we are talking about scammers here, and saying we should not be worrying about it sounds awful to many people but I am starting to believe that anyone who gets tricked by these kinds of scammers "kind of" asked for it as well. I have seen people fall for such stupid scams that eventually I started to ignore these type of news. Be careful yourself, do not get scammed, do not be tricked, don't invest into something you do not know fully, and eventually that means you are going to be fine, let others get scammed and ignore them.
3959  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Renewable Energy resources the future? on: July 20, 2021, 11:50:00 AM
Unfortunately the oil industry is not a cheap industry, they are making hundreds of billions of dollars every single year, do you really think that it is easy to say "stop this whole industry all together"? Of course not, how are you going to tell people to stop 100+ billion dollars worth of sector so suddenly. They are doing whatever they can to keep this going, they are even spending billions a year combined towards worlds superpowers and the politicians there, paying millions to thousands of people all around the world is not cheap.

So basically renewable energy does have a good future, many people support it, and that means there will be more of it in the future, but that will not make oil be gone, I am pretty sure it is going to keep going for a long time and that is going to be the doom of the world unfortunately, just because some people wanted money, we will all die.
3960  Economy / Economics / Re: ECB starts 24 month digital euro project. on: July 20, 2021, 09:30:54 AM
Like OP said it will take them a lot longer than 5 years, they are not known as a group that can act quickly on anything. Hell UK took 3 elections and few presidents just to get out of EU even while everyone there wanted (okay not everyone but majority enough), so I doubt that it would be 5 years of anything. I assume that minimum 5 years will be spent just to see how it may work, like experiments and testing and so forth, countless resources will be spent (money, man hours, many other smaller things) and eventually it will take another 6-7 years to actually build it and make it work.

I say minimum of 10 years before EU has digital euro as a project ready for the whole world. I know it is a sad situation but that is how they work, they are very very very slow at what they do and the amount of paperwork back and forth causing things to get delayed is a common thing.
