i think the china drama made bitcoin go down so much. a lot people were thinking bitcoin china would really take off. after all the bad news people for some reason lost faith. merchant adoption also had and still has a huge impact on the price.
3942  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 satoshi = 1$ when? on: April 24, 2015, 05:45:58 PM
Snapchat went for billions. Bitcoin is around 3 billion. The pump is yet to happen.

The question is whether Snapchat was paid for with FIAT money or whether they actually used stock shares, or whatever. The market capitalization of Bitcoin (and other assets) says nothing about the total amount of money that actually went into the asset! There haven't been $3b invested into Bitcoin - which is a good thing if you want higher prices. This means that we would be no where near the top!

i think 50% fiat and 50% not direct sellable shares. bitcoin as a whole should be valued much and much higher. especially if you look at the possibilities of bitcoin.
3943  Economy / Speculation / Re: oscillating pattern says we leave $200 1 june on: April 24, 2015, 08:13:37 AM
This sounds logical but yeah, probably we will continues to hit lower and lower target, because the situation is not that good than we think. Be careful if you're a Bitcoin holders.

people who are holding, and i mean really holding for the long term , they are well aware of the possibility of bitcoin going lower. but the long term return is making everything worth it.
3944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rare address hall of fame on: April 24, 2015, 08:06:16 AM
i have been running my pc nearly 24 hours in order to get myself a unique address but still no result. i am trying to get as much same numbers or letters as possible.

What are the constraints that you've set? Are you looking for an address with certain first bits or what are you looking for? If the number of characters is too high you won't be able to find an address. The time it takes to compute such an address rises exponentially, You have always got to keep that in mind or you will end up waiting for a year to get your address. Also keep in mind that the generator may not even know if the address you are looking for is it impossible to find.

i am trying to get a 1aaaaaaaaaaa of 111111444444 or something like that. but that's probably not possible within a reasonable time frame as i have no interest in running my pc for weeks.
that will take more than a few weeks if you're lucky especially wallets with numbers. I have been running for 1Canary on 360 Mkeys/s and have been running it for 3 days now. Its at 80% but no success

i will try to lower the amount of custom characters. hope that will give me a higher success rate i hope.
3945  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: April 24, 2015, 08:01:05 AM
i would use my coins to purchase a laptop from dell if the price would be $1000 right now. the rest of my coins will still remain in my wallet to hold it.
3946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the usage of Bitcoin now on: April 24, 2015, 07:56:37 AM
well as i see this its not honest bussiness of use of bit coin but that its also related as the star of the coin like the east crime and some good investitiors just say this and do never invest black or porn or crime does the coin (we dont use that thing) but they forget its that are honest people using the btc coin and not for bad purposes and for soo it shuld have more implementation

there are incredible startups with so much potential and they are only increasing. it cost time to convince any kind of metchant to adopt bitcoin. time will come that you can spend your bitcoins on gas, power, real estate, food, and so on.

3949  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you bullish or bearish right now? on: April 23, 2015, 04:48:27 PM
I've been bearish for a long time, but we seem to have found the bottom. Unless we see a crash in the next month or so, I think we can be fairly confident in the bear market ending.

Well it's still far too early to really call this a trend-reversal. It could just as well be just another bounce before a big drop (we've seen this before). But it's good to see the price trying. I've still got quite some hopes up that we break out of this downtrend for good now, as well!
According to a lot of people in tradeview they are seeing still a downtrend or at least a period of time of being stuck on this low 200's price. We'll see if we can break to 300 territory through this summer. BTC is so undervalued right now, feels good.

for the short term i think we will go a bit lower than we are now but around or after the summer it will definitely go above $300 but can it stay above $300 is what i'm asking myself.
3950  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long, strong should a bitcoin wallet pass-phrase be? on: April 23, 2015, 04:43:59 PM

The keylogger will only get your password if you type it in. It won't know it immediately when infected. If you are using the passphrase to create a password, you would definitely need a random password that is seriously random. You can try to recite it to yourself three times per day or write it down on somewhere safe. If you are encrypting wallet keys, password will only protect you in the event of someone gaining control of your PC.

Can the keylogger get my password if I copy-and-paste it (no typing)?

yes, you need to use the keyboard of your pc(virtual keyboard) or typing it in a way to camouflage it(for example, your password is "my name is", instead you write my.name.is, then you delete those two dot, using the mouse)

use zemna antikeylogger free, it help a lot

so even if i generate a password with a pass generator it can still be seen by keyloggers? what if you disconnect your pc from the net while setting a password? is that better?
3951  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: April 23, 2015, 12:01:08 PM
This has been argued to hell and as the first reply said, Satoshi is even unsure about the matter. I think Bitcoin is too unstable to become 10k per coin. We've seen it sky rocket before and it's collapsed because it can not self sustain itself of a price so high. Hypothetically if it did reach that, imagine the exchanges that could possibly collapse. Instead of a hundreds of thousands being lost, multiple millions will be lost. Every type of hacker would want a piece of it.

The existence of exchanges that actually aren't shit or run by children or thieves will be a major factor in pushing the price to that level. It will never happen without places that are bulletproof and accountable.

I'm pretty amazed it got to where it has with the wretched history of exchanges.

i really can't see it changing any time soon unless there will be a totally different kind of exchange getting rid of all current sloppy exchanges. at this point we don't have much choice.
3952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Satoshi's coins be deleted? on: April 23, 2015, 11:54:30 AM
Since it can't be deleted & he never spend his coins
How about give it to everyone ?

And if we can delete satoshi's coins
It means we can delete every coins too

just no. coins must stay where they are for ever. and who knows maybe there are already "deleted" as satoshi might not be able to access these coins anymore.
3953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Support is holding! on: April 23, 2015, 08:05:33 AM
not hold, but buy buy buy!
once it has taken off, the opportunity would never come back.

i'm sure a lot people have already bought in and are waiting for the price to go up. market is currently waiting for the price to move. my guess is it will test $220 again.
3954  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom is in at $215 buying like crazy on: April 23, 2015, 08:00:59 AM
While you are obsessed about this age old pumpcoin and its 10% fluctuations i made almost +100% on my shitcoin portfolio. Man, huge gains in alts these days. Bitcoin? WHY?! Ain't nobody got time for that!!!

then why bother to take time and write a useless post about bitcoin when you don't have time for it. good luck with your altcoin trades and stay in the altcoin section.
3955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Superwallet + China = Moon? on: April 22, 2015, 11:03:33 PM
don't get happy too early. it looks great at the beginning but i wonder how many people will actually use it. and will other exchanges also offer such a service.
3956  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: INVEST BITCOIN!!! on: April 22, 2015, 10:57:59 PM
Just hold your bitcoins for few years and the returns you will get is simply astounding, the rate of bitcoin right now is pretty low and is a good time to invest, buy and sell it 5 years after now when the price is relatively peak to the time, you will have made a huge roi Smiley

the only thing is that people don't have enough patience to hold their coins for years in order to get a return. people look for instant profits nowadays.
3957  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin capable of stepping into the US dollar shoes one day? on: April 22, 2015, 04:43:10 PM
don't think bitcoin itself will. but that doesn't say there won't be another digital currency taking over the us dollar. but then again, it will just re-create the same situation as with the us dollar.
3958  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: April 22, 2015, 04:37:32 PM
i do trust kraken as it never have dissapointed me so far. but we all know it is better to store your coins offline for obvious reasons. better safe than sorry.
3959  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many of you signature campaign posters sell your coins once you received it? on: April 22, 2015, 10:38:39 AM
i save every coin received from my signature campaign to hold it. once i have a decent amount to buy something with i might use them to purchase something.
3960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Support did not hold... But don't panic. on: April 22, 2015, 08:51:34 AM
Has the price trend reversed?

Wait for it to go and stabilize above 270 or so...  At least that's what I think.

at this point it won't be easy as there are traders who bought in at around $220 and are going to dump as soon as it goes higher. my guess is $250 within 2 weeks.
