3941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 05, 2020, 11:19:52 PM
People shouldn't bet with the money what they can't afford to loss. Borrowing money for betting is worst decision ever. Every gambler know these things but many of them still do it. Does this kind of news make you worried? Share your thought about this.

Even people bet with the amount they can't afford to lose, it's an irresponsible act to just go suicide about it.

Aside from that boy losing money on betting, there are other parts of the story that we don't know that not mentioned on the news. There are lots of people who already loss big but still standing and able to recover. What we saw on the news is only the thing that triggered the suicide decision but for sure there are lots of problems on that boy's mind for a long and now it reached the conclusion.

You are right! Its just too shallow if debt is the only reason why would someone do commit suicide. We dont know the whole story that he might have some other problems
like family problems and other emotionally attached type of problems which would really result into that kind of solution which it isnt really right. If its just totally
with that debt problem then its understandable that minor or young minds cant really much handle of too much emotion and stress which might really result into this.
3942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment on: November 05, 2020, 10:25:47 PM
It's becoming more harder for new projects team to keep their promises to bounty hunters, some even said bounty hunters are getting free tokens for free, meaning bounty hunters aren't recognized for their work, I suggest all bounty managers to start using ESCROW.

I believe with escrow payment will be guaranteed, team won't be able to go back on their words, bitwings for example, after a complete year of waiting for payment they decide to do another audit on spreadsheet and they falsely accused bounty hunters without any proof.

Bounty Detective is the only bounty manager using escrow, if many bounty managers start using escrow it will be better.

Escrow is indeed a way to keep participants guaranteed payment for their work. However, if the Escrow comes from the project manager, there is also no guarantee that participants will get work wages. Because project managers often throw tantrums after the bounty is over. I think Escrow is a third party would be better suited than a project manager.
Depends on whose that project manager had been handling of those coins this is why its important to look at on whose the manager that been holding of the bounty program.
If you do saw that its part of the team or not yet known on this forum then better to pass out and find for another one.It had been suggested for how many times about
escrow thing about bounty payments but it hadnt been followed nor considered by those projects that do plan to launch the program. Is there something we can do?
Nothing! because teams decision would always be final thats why dont expect for these escrow matter to be implied.
3943  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: November 05, 2020, 09:48:50 PM
Trading during this time seems to me something more productive. Some people are still locked at home, and they have more free time than ever. If they do not do anything, they will simply get stress and depression. Trading cryptocurrencies will be one of the best solutions of the problem.

That added the impact, when people are desperate to find ways to earn they will look to each side and by learning this market, they will start to bring their investment inside.

There are many reason why people are going to trade since they've seen potentials they will keep on trying to enhance their knowledge to have more opportunities from this venue of investment that they've found.

With having more time since the pandemic is really avoiding people to go out gives them
more closer to understand and to learn how this market works and how they can ride and earn.
Everyone is free to learn up the market but the question is, does everybody have that funds on testing it out? Would be they willing on spending some bucks while they do learn?
Trading with your first tries will be likely to be on loss since we are just complete newbie.Do this assure that those people will stick with the market? It will be a on two outcome
neither they would stay and continue or they would completely stop and wont turn back.Trading is indeed a viable option to take but we know that this one ask out
some money for you to start on thats why testing with small amounts and learning on the process is much more recommended.

Well said, we don't know how those people will react after experiencing losses coming from their first try, as we know to the fact the value of money during this pandemic situation.

There's no assurance but for people who really paying attention to every opportunities, losing can be afford just to broaden the experienced.

It's matter of how  determine a person to take this route and treat it as venue to
earn real money, take the risk and succeed or quit if you don't see any future ahead.

Hard to say that you would just simply quite just because you had experienced some losses with your few tried.Main mistake for some people is that they do easily quit with that level of loses.
Well, money is indeed precious specially now on this pandemic situation where its mainly needed and important. Its up to someone though if he can still afford to lose or not on engaging with trading.
This isnt a thing for everybody because some will find it beneficial and some will just treat it as an other object to be an option but not everyone would really be pleased with the results.
So in next step then they do quit and never came or look back and just continue to find for another alternative which they do believe that it might work for him/her.
3944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 10 Lottery Winner Losers on: November 05, 2020, 08:55:12 PM
...
they are very fortunate among the billions of people...
but it is a pity they are unable to take advantage of the rare opportunities they get. I saw that there are people who fall into poverty because of a distant family, I think the distant family will only approach your money and not you, when you fall into poverty again, they will disappear leaving you. so be careful when you are winning big.

They dont care on what are the global problems that we are experiencing now and what matter most here is on how they do seek of entertainment without minding
on how much money they would spend. Its none of their business to care about those who are poor into other people or do even think about opportunities or being on the lucky side.
Talking on lottery winners then we do have that mindset that this money had been attained on easy manner then most likely it would really be spend on fast manner
without minding on making some business or investment. Its up to our own choice though because our future situation will just reflect on what are the things that
we had done in the past.

3946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Negative House Edge Crypto Casino on: November 05, 2020, 06:46:38 PM
I had a look at the site phreess.com and when I read the following
Quote
With Phreess blockchain technology, we guarantee prices not to go down, but only up. Once a certain price is reached, everyone will be able to buy and sell at that price until the price increases again.
I could only close the page and start laughing.

I havent spot it out and thank you for elaborating it buddy and same as yours on when the time i do able to read up some guarantees of likes "price will increase and wont drop" kind of lines
then that will already automatically give out some negative impressions. Giving out some guarantees that investors wont lose money if they decide to buy the token is just only
good or can only happen in dreams but in real life? Meh. .Those are just empty words yet price increase or value will always vary on the demand on said tokens.
I agree with some words that this is something new in way of selling out projects token but giving out guarantees? that really leave out some not good impressions.
3947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we headed to a new all time high now that momentum is very high on: November 05, 2020, 05:50:41 PM
I keep looking on the chart and checking while posting I got up from my computer to entertain a visitor and when I come back here it is Bitcoin
at $14,941.07 It looks like we have a good momentum this early before end of November Bitcoin could be trading at $ $16k

Do you think we are going to have a repeat and the first quarter of 2021 will be where Bitcoin will have another all time high

When in talks of future prices then everything would really remain unanswered yet no man on this world can predict on whats ahead.I was even surprised on the current or recent movement of
Bitcoin on where it did able to hit $14k that fast and now we are already on 15k range which i havent anticipated that it would be touched on this month of November it seems we're really too
fast when it comes to movement but it doesnt signify if we are already on a bull run or just some pump and might have an another some solid correction later on.So for those who
had accumulate cheaper then this would be the best time to sell and wait for some pullback then buy again.
3948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2020, 11:49:58 PM
You're right. It is always good to risk your own money than borrowed money. I experienced personally in my life. I had little amount of bitcoin in my wallet, but I took loan to fulfill some home needs considering there'll be growth with bitcoin. My prediction went wrong and now I'm in debt paying interest. If I've sold at the right time I could've avoided debt.

I have a same experience like you. I took money from my close friend to buy bitcoin with 20% interest. But after 1month my btc was down and I had to pay him the money from my own pocket and also the interest. A bad experience. -_-
That is the reason why it is better to earn bitcoin than taking the risk to invest in bitcoin. Price is unpredictable. Invest from your own pocket which you can afford to lose. Loaning is not a good idea but a headache, if you can earn it, work for it.
There indeed other ways instead of taking up some loan and as mentioned we can really make up some work or task which we can potentially earn bitcoin without the need of investing with our own money
but rather just depending on the hardwork that we had done which i do see much more worth to do so but we know that not all does have the free time on dealing with it because some do have their own
day job which means they can just go full time with crypto jobs just because of that hindrance thats why when someone do look up some opportunities here on bitcoin market they do tend to rush out and making
up decisions that they would take a loan because they dont like to miss out the opportunity. It isn't really that bad but as mentioned above that we should be responsible on repaying it out.
3949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 04, 2020, 10:55:59 PM
Aaand it is probably gone.

You cannot win when the game is rigged.

130k+ ballots for Biden in Wisconsin&Michiganand not even 1 for Trump?

There will be some serious shit after this. I hope you all have your guns and ammo ready.

In my opinion, this is a coup.

Seeing that spike then i can say that there would be some huge problem afterwards if Biden would take the spot.. I feel sorry for the $5M bet though.
Im not really that interested when it comes to politics but just like on the past about picking up some presidential bets i do able to win up when Trump
do nail it but i doubt that he would able to extent out his position.
3950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: November 04, 2020, 10:10:51 PM
Many investors that is using trading bot strategy to trade their business always find it difficult to make a good income from their trade. Many people are still like to have interest on bot trading  because of what they heard concerning the project without taking time to study the strategy,if it will be easy for someone to trade and get reward instantly with the process of trading.
I don't have any idea concerning bot trading which everybody is talking about that is a new system, many trader are now using to make a good profit. Is like I will try the trade to know if the system is not to difficult to invest.

Trading bots are not stable, not understandable, not unambiguous. None of them will bring you guaranteed profits.
All you need to know about them is that they should only be helpers in placing orders and interacting with the exchange. Any bot that promises you a stable profit is 99% fraudulent.

I used trading bots to see how they work, but you cannot rely on them if you are serious about trading. Better think yourself. Bots can offer you at least strange pairs, and you will finally fail. If it happens, you will also understand that bots are not worth our attention.

Too much negative towards bot but cant you see on whats its actual usage? Its pretty convenient and good thing imho if you are a type of person who is always far away
from keyboard yet bots are way too useful on doing this job in spite of doing it for yourself. People do just really have different approach with bots on where they do believe
that it can really be helpful for them to make money and generate income without doing that much without even thinking that these bots are just for automation nothingless
but people do expect way too much which on the thing that it cant able to do. If you do believe on this way then you'll get disappointed but if not then you will
appreciate on whats the real functionality of bots.
3951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC for bounty hunters on: November 04, 2020, 08:04:32 PM

Because responsibility and "fears" are on both sides. Developers are worried that if a large number of scammers join the campaign, it will be ineffective and will give away a large amount of tokens for nothing, and bounty hunters are worried that if the project is a scam, their personal data will be sold and used for online crimes.
In my opinion, there are two options:
1. The developer will hire a professional manager to eliminate the scamers and then no KYC will be required.
2. Bounty hunters will do very thorough project research and only do KYC verification if they themselves decide that project is credible and legit.
Everyone should decide individually what suits him best.
If you are saying people using multiple accounts to get more rewards as scammers then its nit really affecting the campaign because they also do the same work as everyone do to get the rewards. Even campaign from reputed manager asks KYC at the time of token distribution because manager is not in the position to control it.
Everything is in control by the team and manager do only follow orders on whats being said.Ive seen lots of complaints back in the past where bounty hunters being required to pass
up some KYC for them to gain their tokens that they had earn on the task that they had done.It isnt really right no matter what angle do you try to look at.
It isnt really just right that they would really be asked out for something personal for just receiving out those shit tokens in the end of the day.
Only investors should really be the one to be asked out.
3952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 10 Lottery Winner Losers on: November 04, 2020, 06:48:47 PM
When you won some jackpot, then these things will most likely to happen.

-Your house will be flocked by your relatives, friends and other that had known you.
-Buy lambo and mansion
-Vacation
-Gambling
-Spending like theres no tomorrow.

I agree that majority will really forgot on how to preserve those and make it on a good use.
They will just cry later on if they have nothing left with those winnings.
3953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoin still feasible? Profit or loss? on: November 04, 2020, 05:57:56 PM

I feel altcoins are just waiting to break out and reach the peak in short span of time, what's your view? Kindly share your opinions.

BUT, Bitcoin has been surging faster than altcoins in fiat terms, and crashing slower. HODLing altcoins/shitcoins actually loses you Bitcoins.

It's the best decision to HODL the best performer in my opinion. That's Bitcoin.
It had been told for how many times but there are people whom are really fan on stashing out some altcoin into their portfolio and hoping that
it would really be bringing some good fortune to them.

There are lots of situations where we do presumpt that alt is losing its charm but actually this had been always the scenario when theres
shift in the market its either bitcoin gaining momentum and alts is on deep reds. Its just a matter of demand in most cases and for us traders
or investors then we should be wise on making out decisions.
3954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 04, 2020, 04:56:29 PM
I believe that most of us are losing money in sports betting, but I'd like to know based on what you read and your experience (if you have) the reasons why we are losing. Personally, I've been gambling for years, I'm just an ordinary gambler who can't be too serious with gambling, but I can't deny that I have been losing money more than I win.

Share some tips to win or to minimize losing?
______

This thread is open for the winners and losers.

Comparing of percentage of losers to those who do gamble with sports betting than to those who do play with luck based games is much more lesser.Well, losing is inevitable but all
will vary on how you do deal with sports you've betting on.We know that this do require sufficient knowledge plus having the skills on making up decision then it is something
where people can really have the edge on.If you do find yourself in the losing side then why not try to make up some shift when it comes to your predictions?
Its still modifiable and can be change and if you do see that you are at least making profits then better stick with it.
3955  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the crypto market saturated? on: November 03, 2020, 11:58:10 PM
Depending on how everyone views the crypto market, There are those who think that the crypto market is saturated because
many new projects have sprung up without a clear use, will only make people waste time and spend money on project scams.
There are also people who think that emerging new projects can provide alternatives to be profitable. I am one of the neutral
ones, because in my opinion it depends on our analytical skills in selecting projects. If we can choose profitable projects,
therefore the crypto market is not very saturating.
As crypto space getting bigger and get known globally, the number of crypto project have to move about and keep creating another project again and again. It certainly can't be saturated because many of these project have gone already, buried for nothing, and replace a new one. But the problem in today's situation is that more projects that has been created , the more it becomes worthless projects, and the sad thing is that most of them were scams.
First of all, i want to illustrate that the cryptocurrency market does not saturate not now that we have sone many companies that used Bitcoin as the reserve asset but it fake and shitcoins thats saturated in the market in at some point. However, every that become worthless as you said is definitely one of the saturated shit projects.

Saturated in number of shit projects in the market and also saturated when it comes to shitty ideas and concepts but it isnt really just right to say in the sense that we do already have saturated one.
Even some do treat as it is but we know on where our money or investment should be put up.It all matters in someone's decision on how they would deal on it.
If market is flooded out with lots or tons of coins then its our assignment to have some research and choose the best ones that you had saw.
3956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports icons and Covid19 complications on: November 03, 2020, 11:35:21 PM
The virus affects the teams both on a sporting level but also financially. Since you mentioned Ronaldo, he has been unavailable for his team in the last two weeks. That has caused problems in attack and some unexpected results. The COVID-19 situation in Italy is getting worse again, and the sporting authorities have responded by disallowing fans to attend football matches. This will impact the teams financially. Tonight, one of the biggest matches is Juventus - Barcelona. A sold-out Juventus Arena would surely have brought the club revenues of €4-5 Million just from ticket sales, but that wont happen now. Millions would be watching on TV, but those numbers will also be lower since Ronaldo isn't playing.
The second wave that many experts feared may come is finally here and it does seems as if it going to be even worse than the first wave and this is because people are already tired of this new normality and they do not want to comply anymore and this is going to eventually create more problems over the long term, and the same is true for sports, they have lost too much money already and they cannot maintain themselves anymore so most likely they will keep playing putting players at risk of getting infected and even if the vast majority of athletes are young and in top physical shape we know coronavirus affects people in different ways and you do not know if you are one of the few that will develop grave symptoms.

People now arent believing already with that second wave third wave or so forth yet the situation becomes even more worst as day passed.
Solution is that we would need to follow up health protocols and remain to be patient and be disciplined so that situation wont gotten an worst.
We have seen seasons that had successfuly been finished in spite of the current situaion we are in which signifies that they had done their
job well on containing the virus. It do sucks to deal with this new normal but is there something we can do something about?
3957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Turnoff Happen to Bitcoin on: November 03, 2020, 10:40:14 PM
As I see it, investors don't care that much on the transaction times since they are after the value of bitcoin and its potential to be the next big thing for investment. Most of these investors just buy and hold after all, so not much transactions were done by them after they have bought what they deem to be enough. Besides, most of these transactions hogging the mempool are temporary due to everyone trying to get their transactions out there in anticipation of a bull run, though of course that isn't happening yet but they still want to make sure that their funds are ready once the party starts.

While the LN is still ways away from actually getting the attention it deserves, it is already functional and several wallets are already complementing the service pretty well.
Yeah its functional but it do really still need further developments before we can really make up some finalization but it seems people wont really be that minding much on making out some transition.
I agree on what others been saying that people or whales arent really that leaving that easily or would really be having that being turned off just because of fee issue or network congestion.
It has its flaws but it wont be completely a reason for majority to quit up and find another better alternative.
3958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: November 03, 2020, 08:57:33 PM
so that everything can go well, the forum must determine new rules before running the bounty otherwise it will only be a suggestion that will never be achieved/implemented

so now we are just waiting for the policy from the forum admin

oblige escrow so that they can't be unfair to the hunter

It wont happen since this forum isnt really that too centralized on implementing such rules yet its up to the team itself if they would implement escrow or not according
to their own jurisdiction or decision.Thing here is that people who do join up bounties should be the one to be responsible towards their actions neither they would
join up on a particular bounty or not. Knowing a project on its early phase telling if its a scam or not would be already a big work to be done.
So when someone joining up then its their responsibility on doing up their assignment.
3959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Nordine Oubaali vs. Nonito Donaire - December 12 on: November 03, 2020, 07:51:47 PM
I don’t think it will take place because of covid 19. Even if it does, I can’t see a crowd being able to watch them and the lack of moral support from screaming fans is going to have a negative affect on the fighters.

AND

It’s currently supposed to be at a casino, there’s no way the casinos are going to be open with the way cases are increasing in the USA

There will be no winner because there will be no fight
Eh? There have been many ongoing sports from basketball, football, MMA, to boxing during the pandemic. Even if there are limited live audiences, they can still generate money through PPVs. Example - [Boxing]: Gervonta Davis vs Leo Santa Cruz - Oct 31

Casinos? There are already establishments that reopened months back but with major changes of course.

About the match, let's take a look at the tale of the tape

^ Despite just three years in age difference, there's a wide gap in their number of fights. I'll give this to Nonito because of his height, reach, fight experience advantage. If Nordine was like in his 20's, I would have given him the edge.

I'd love to see the odds but it seems none of the popular bitcoin bookies have picked this fight yet.
Nonito shouldnt still be too confident into this fight yet if we do base up on KO percentage then we can say that Nordine is quite a heavy puncher but it wont be surprising
that Donaire can withstand those blows but we know that there would always be a lucky punch. So its important not to let your guard down.If the outcome of this fight
will next on the line with Inoue then Donaire will strive for the spot and would have some revenge with the kid that do able to beat him down in the past.
So i dont think that Donaire would just let that opportunity to slip.

Hello guys,
Anyone traded on probit exchange because I was about trading some shitcoins to ETH it seems their withdrawal fee is higher than normal.
I need your opinions to know if I should further the trade or hold the coins until it is listed in another exchange.

Its up to your choice but if you are in need of money or in a hurry on cashing out that shitcoin of yours thats only listed on that exchange then
it will depend on you but of course there would be always a risk yet its obvious that this isnt known or popular so proceed with caution.
Aside there are several links about accusations of being scam.
