3941  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do you get latest crypto news? on: January 28, 2020, 10:45:20 AM
In English, I use "cointelegraph" because I really like their visuals and the articles are great !
In French, "Le journal du Coin" and "TheCointribune", because they are posting many articles every day about serious or funny materials.

Bitcointalk.org and Steemit are good too because you can see the reaction of people unlike a lot of websites which don't have a place to post comments about the article.

Finally,  classic newspaper, because it's always interesting to see HOW they understand the news and explain it to neophytes.
When you want to explain what is Blockchain and what you can do with it, it's easier when you know how people are thinking. And because a lot of people are not thinking by their own ... you need to read the classic newspaper.
So not the same goal but at the end you are aware of the latest crypto news.
Cointelegraph too, but this time that I'm active in my local board here in Bitcointalk. I was able to read more news coming from this forum. I was able to know whether there is basis or if its just a false accusations. This forum is really helpful even in getting news.
3942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Hunter stop free promoting! We are not Beggars! on: January 28, 2020, 07:13:40 AM
Snip~
I welcome you to the bounty world, where nowadays either you get paid a penny or not at all.
It's not because the hunters wanted to promote them for free, but the team decided to keep delaying the payments or not paying them at all. So either you wait patiently for the payments that only God knows when it will be distributed, or you stopped doing bounties for good. You can't really know if a bounty will pay or not until the bounty ends, or, those bounties are paying the participants on a weekly or things basis.
. This is the sentiment of almost all bounty hunters now. As much a posssible stop joining campaigns that keep extending the deadline of their payment or campaign duration. There should be some assurance when they continue the campaign. Like paying the half earned bounty token or atleast a chance to leave the campaign but still keeps the bounty stakes gained. Apparently almost all bounty rules were project development side and we bounty hunter have no other choice but to wait and follow whether they pay or not.
3943  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now that we touched $8,000, what's next? on: January 28, 2020, 06:21:21 AM
As Bitcoin price again increasing in this week, this time we can expect Bitcoin will hit 10K USD, it can happen within the first week of February! As Chinese Lunar year celebration is stopped for many reasons mainly Corona, so, crypto is not gonna see a dump!

We’re already on $9k mark and may reached another resistance too. It may not only because of the corona or the Chinese New year. Halving is also approaching that many users want to grab the momentum to buy and get some profit before or after halving.
3944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [AMA] The Life of a Professional Gambler on: January 28, 2020, 01:56:47 AM
How you started on it? What motivates you to keep doing it knowing that you already won a lot. And able to sustain your living. I'm asking since Im not a good gambler,I'm finding it hard to risk money in gambling knowing I'm not skilled or lucky enough in winning in it.
3945  Local / Pilipinas / Re: IMF Urges Philippines’ Central Bank to Collect Crypto Exchange Data on: January 27, 2020, 09:19:57 AM
Some scammers may be frightened by the news, pero hindi parin enough to stop them from doing it. May advantage and disadvantage tong proposal na to since mawawala yung secresy and purpose ng crypto to be anonymous in every transaction. If may KYC na gagawin sa mga exchanges then can really get our details.
3946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my bitcoin on: January 26, 2020, 02:36:10 PM
let me guess, surely you do leverage trading, leverage trading can indeed maximize profit, but the risk is also very big, very not recommended especially for beginners, in this forum there are many who trade bitcoin but don't lose all bitcoin, so far my bitcoin is still okay, because I trade normally without leverage.
There are already many stories of lost bitcoin due to leverage trading. We need to be aware of what we are getting into. We must know what we're dealing especially for newbies who are excited to double or triple their profit, know that at those  price will have a correspond risk which is bigger than expected. We need to studied trading before entering.

3948  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can you guys identify Whale move? on: January 26, 2020, 01:00:25 PM
an increase in bitcoin can occur with whale movements, for example a sudden increase in bitcoin, but that does not mean an increase in the price of bitcoin is all because of the whale, the rise and fall of the price of bitcoin is not easy to predict, so suppose we want to invest or trade crypto, don't bother think of a sudden increase in bitcoin that can go up high and vice versa can also go down quickly. invest and trade while we want it and get profit with our own strategies and ways, and follow positive advice & methods from seniors and seniors here.
We will sure can identify when price suddenly increase without any news or FUD. But there is no way we can know when will they plan to do it. They may spread FUD but they might be too many to know whether they will try to manipulate the market. It will depend on how much they will buy and sell that will affect the market.
3949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll for favourite cryptos used on Gambling. on: January 26, 2020, 10:36:45 AM
I stop using Bitcoin in gambling, as I try to hold and accumulate more BTC as much as possible especially halving will happen. I used XRP often now even in day trading and some crypto matters. We better try to explore alts where we can get cheaper fee as well convenience in using.
3950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bank, Necessary? on: January 25, 2020, 01:47:23 PM
I agree there has been an increase in crypto related crimes. But we don't need a bank to stop that. Bitcoin has emerged as a currency which gives you complete anonymity and control over your money and frees you from the third party. I don't understand the need of incorporating a third party again. You are responsible for your own money, take decision wisely. You don't need a third party To do that.

As we see how the bank performs now, and now that we were able to do it thru our own hands, why we should let it take away by having bitcoin bank. As much as possible I wanted bitcoin to be this way in use, no more regulation and restrictions, it's enough for some KYC but not anymore regulations as much as possible. Though some prefers it for adoption.

3953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Crypto on: January 25, 2020, 07:52:00 AM
My income for my life comes from cryptocurrency, but if I shop for daily needs I still use my country's currency because where I live Bitcoin is not a payment instrument authorized by the country, so too many people here who do not know bitcoin.
I'ts nice hear stories that their money were all come from crypto and that they are able to sustain they're living. when Im unemployed before bounty and a bit of trading really helps me to live during my unemployment days.
3954  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Options is a bit overwhelming for me. Any Suggestions to make it easier? on: January 24, 2020, 03:30:01 PM
Here is my suggestion. When you feel you are difficult to learn trading options for some time, and you cannot get a profit from trading, it is better not to continue trading. You can try with the other type of trading, for example, you can try with crypto trading, which will be easier than the trading option. Crypto trading is not too complicated than the trading option, so I think you can learn the lesson of the crypto trading, and you can try to make a profit too. But both trading options and crypto trading need the experience to get the profit, but in crypto trading, you hold it for a long time, and not doing trading every day.
No matter what platform it is, crypto, forex or stocks what we really need is to know the basics of trading to read charts and patterns as well to understand whether to know the market. Learning the market and how trade is what matters most.
3955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for Your Money? on: January 24, 2020, 01:18:42 PM
I consider Bitcoin to be a safe haven and also an investment. I know that it has some risk but I believe that it will gain value over time as it goes mainstream.
All investment is risky, it is really up to us how we will consider it as safe haven. If we will focus on watching up and down or by knowing that someday mass adoption will happen and we are lucky to be a early adoptors, that will soon to be benefitted on it. We should not worry too much on bear market, just find ways to earn on it.
3956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where can i buy something with Litecoin? on: January 24, 2020, 12:46:35 PM
Actually this is not a problem, but it is a problem too, when we don't have real money to buy something and we only have crypto assets, what else can we do?
One method that is quite effective is that if you have a lot of LTC, then exchange the LTC to USD which can be withdrawn into your bank account. Now there are many instant exchangers that provide direct and fast exchange facilities. If you exchange it at several large exchangers, it will take a little time. Maybe you have some friends who have business as local exchangers.
Converting is the only way now, or find wallet that are readily available in fiat. We have popular wallet here in our country that can choose in what alt to pay bills and it will convert it automatic upon paying. However, LTC is not include yet in the alts applicable there.
3957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will NOT surpass traditional methods of payment. Convince me. on: January 24, 2020, 08:18:11 AM
There will always have a solution if it will have a mass adoption. At first the government will be needing an implementation notice or announcement that may businesses provides necessary materials needed to speed the transactions. As I'm using BTC more on payment s now than Banks. It might need more improvement but in my area it's quite good to use now as payment and investment solutions.
3958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WINNING THE GAME AGAINST BAD PROJECTS on: January 24, 2020, 05:38:21 AM
Winning the game against bad projects is always possible, for the same we need to have the perfect planning and the mind to predict the growth precisely. This will be known on close observation about the market. As bitcoin has got a proven track record on growth it is good to hold the majority percentage and the rest on top altcoins on the market.
Whenever I plan to invest in how alts I never invested before. I always monitor it, invest time monitoring it mole than those I always investing. In these as I was able to identify how the developer promotes or improve their project at the same time I learn to study it's price movement
3959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So...Is Bitcoin the ultimate coin that does not need more development? on: January 23, 2020, 05:21:59 PM
Bitcoin as its name suggests is really the ultimate coin. The development is always there. As they say, change is constant. But as to the name itself bitcoin had established its worth. Its like a brand name that always improves and develops many variants but still the name is continued.
There is always changed that we may see as we dig more deeper on what bitcoin can possibly do in all means, it always need some development that forked coin appears but still we choose to focus on the original. It's the basis why other alts and forked coins developed, to add and provides some functions that may lacking in bitcoin.
3960  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggestion for trading platform on: January 23, 2020, 01:55:02 PM
You can still have another platform but there is no assurance to get all your losses. I think platforms are almost the same and the only way to get higher profit lies on your trading decisions. Maybe you can also setup your strategies in trading and change to a new platform or stick to your usual platform at least with the old one you are already familiar of the procedures and steps.
I checked tradingview and just do trade in different exchanges sometimes. The best thing is that we need to understand the chart, graphs, pattern or indicators and find platform youll easily understand. I prefer to look at one chart and then simply trade on legit exchanges its available to trade.
