3941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price rallies above $400 resistance on bullish! on: August 31, 2020, 10:50:23 PM
The article link you have shared doesn't show anything, it shows an error 404. Ethereum has been bullish when the news about the POS was being heard on the news.

$433 is its price and it doesn't look that it went to a correction because the price was just near to $440. The resilience that Ethereum and even the other cryptocurrencies, mainly bitcoin show that we're actually bullish.

i think the OP should remove the /amp from the link
anyway i think the bullish trend already confirmed now, just wait for the moment when a huge movement come to crypto market
Yeah, you are right.

I have removed those excess characters and the article showed perfectly as what op wants to discuss about Ethereum's bullishness and resistance.

If it continues to be hitting up to $500-$600 or even more, there's no need to think of it and there is no doubt as many will confirm it that it is time!

3943  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Phishing Emails like this on: August 31, 2020, 09:50:04 PM
I recieve emails like that before but i did not open those emails as far as i know i never subscribe to any exchanges emails. So everytime i get messages coming from exchanges emails i ignore it.
It is a good reaction if you don't open nor click those emails that you have received. Being aware that you have never subscribed to any of them means that there's a website that you have signed and they were able to pass it to another company or exchange or individuals.

There were individuals that collects email of users from exchanges and sells it to the exchanges directly but if not, they are spoofing their emails to hack or scam their receivers through phishing links attached to those scam emails.

Your website loaded fast and upon clicking the tabs above, they are very well quick and responsive. I can say that you have made very well and a good job for the creation of this website.

I have noticed on the tools, electrum is in there. It should be on the wallets tab.

Thank you very much. We added Electrum into wallets  Roll Eyes
That was a very quick response from you. As I have checked the wallets tab, it's on the last.

I guess no problem being added on both tabs, thank you for the response and acknowledgement.
3945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Electrum update: A trader lost 1400 BTC on: August 31, 2020, 08:40:43 PM
Most electrum users are aware of the said bug and warning from the website itself. Owning 1,400 BTC should make him more careful of updates and bugs from the wallet that he's using.

Is he that a busy person to forget this hefty amount of wealth and download the outdated version carelessly?

I doubt that he forget it, probably just letting it sit there for a while, he said he didn't accessed the wallet since 2017, so I have the impression that he knows he had it. But he doesn't have the security hygiene to check everything before downloading the supposedly latest Electrum.

$17 million gone just like that, so sad to hear that these criminals are really milking crypto enthusiast. But I would say that it was clearly a big mistake on his part and no one to blame but himself.
Very sad indeed.

And that's too much for him to learn about learning to check the bugs and attending to the warning of software that he use. The lost that he made is just unacceptable on his part and he can't think of his mistake.

If he's a whale, I hope that this isn't that he got and he still have some other "untouched" wallets that has a lot of bitcoins.

I think we're all with the same sentiment about the number of cases. While the epicenter of the virus has been calmed down. Why is it that there's no sharing of how they've extinguished the virus and there's even a pool party just to proclaim they were able to overcome the pandemic.

And the rest of the world is still struggling with growing cases every day. I have no problem wearing masks going outside because I have my mask ready when I travel before the pandemic occurred.
3949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Game framework on: August 30, 2020, 09:26:24 PM
Do you have a prototype of your game already or it's still in the planning mode? That's an ideal game if it's able to integrate with crypto wallets and you can earn and sell your in-game tokens and exchange it to the most accepted or adopted cryptocurrency.

It will be a gamers haven if that integration and feature will come into reality. Your players will be serious about it because they have the means to exchange something valuable that they earn into real-world money through crypto.
As a gamer, I also liked the idea of this project, because it can really make the game process more interesting and, in some cases, profitable. In any case, all projects that are aimed at integrating cryptocurrencies with other industries deserve attention.
I'm not yet looking into the profitability because if it's working, it will become profitable eventually if it gets players. You have an interesting words there, it's true that integration of cryptos with other certain industries must be taken into attention.

But, wait a minute.

Why is it I'm seeing that it's like only one person and newbie accounts are replying at the same time? @OP was the one to open the idea but there's no answer from him.
3950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Unofficial List of Altcoin Speculations Threads on: August 30, 2020, 08:54:09 PM
Great job.

Compile all of those speculation threads for altcoins. This will work easily for someone who's looking for a discussion about the altcoin of their choice.

I'll also add if I see some that are not yet listed.
Thank you man. and yes, i would appreciate any help i can get updating this list. Cheers!
Just keep it man, you're doing it. Here you go and this is one that I've seen you have missed to list, the Grin Observer thread.

3953  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia has developed covid-19 vaccine. on: August 29, 2020, 09:45:36 PM
Why they have to report it to the WHO? WHO is not going to create a vaccine they are just here for nothing and RUSSIA continuously reported everything through media but may not be much transparent in what they are said and this happens with every government as well because in this vaccine race every government wants to win.
The meaning of the organization tells it.

We are in the pandemic and they are the governing body giving information from one country to another country. If they don't have to report to WHO, they don't have to report that they were already in the most recent phase.

Media is media and WHO is WHO.

It is true that the reason could be the race and that's why they didn't have told it earlier. We still got no updates.
3954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Evercryptotrade on: August 29, 2020, 08:34:03 PM
I stopped going through the website as I've seen it quickly that it's not secured as per my browser. From the picture that Kupid002 posted, it's a scam. Why do you guys have to pay for those account tiers? are they even that a popular platform?

You don't invest $1,000 and you'll earn $10,000 an instant. That's already an indication that it's a scam. And for the website information, whoising them will help you determine how long the website has been up and running and for them, they've just started running since June 29, 2020.

3955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have shared about bitcoin on my class on: August 29, 2020, 08:04:37 PM
Nice job if you have shared what bitcoin is to your fellow classmates and even to your teacher. Being a student before, we're the ones that were taught about things and life. But in your case, you've just shared what bitcoin is to your teacher.

Not all teachers are like those who are open to know and ask about bitcoin. And anyone who's asking about it, you can give an answer as long as they want to know it what really it is.
3956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RenVM, supposedly decentralised but control 9000 BTC worth of funds on: August 28, 2020, 10:44:11 PM
Claiming decentralized, there are many of them to be like this.

If that's for real then the investors who have made it on RenVM are in danger as OP has pointed out. And if I'm one of the users who have deposited on that platform, I'll freak out honestly if I have read something like that.

I guess we'll going to see some news related to it soon.
3957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New information from Satoshi? on: August 28, 2020, 10:19:34 PM
While I was reading, I'm looking for the source and there's a suspicious link removed on op's post until I've read this.

Why are you writing about something that happened six years ago? None of this is new information. Everyone has moved on.

He's right.

And found this article[1] in 2014.

3958  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Phishing Emails like this on: August 28, 2020, 09:52:17 PM
I think there was the same stellar airdrop scam that was posted before but thanks for the heads up. You probably have signed up to a website or form which is the source why that email sender was able to reach you out through their email.

And good reaction from OP. As long as you are aware that you have never signed up for any airdrop or you are feeling it with your guts that the email is sort of a scam and spam, don't click links attached to it.
3959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: User friendly Token pocket or Math wallet??? on: August 28, 2020, 08:44:39 PM
I have never used those wallets just like them and won't try it until many have used it from the forum. I'm good with the suggestion of others with Exodus because I have tried it. That can be your temporary wallet if you haven't purchased yet a hardware wallet to keep your cryptos.

About ImToken and Trust, I have never used them as well but I've seen a bunch of people using and suggesting it in the forum if a thread like this comes out asking which wallet is good for multi-cryptocurrency support.
3960  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the cheapest way to transfer money from Coinbase.Pro to Binance? on: August 27, 2020, 11:20:23 PM
I want to transfer 500 USD, which would then make 31 USD I have to pay for transaction fees, is this calculation correct or is it getting cheaper the higer the transfer amount?
I haven't used Coinbase Pro.

But your calculation for the fees is inaccurate. It doesn't mean you have paid with a $0.31 fee for a $5 transfer, which means you'll calculate as the same for bigger transfers.

Coinbase PRO has free withdrawals on everything.

The standard coinbase had free withdrawals - I think until they were high last year.

I'd say that your market fees account for the withdrawal fee on pro.
This explains why you have received the same amount to your Binance wallet. I guess this thread has served its purpose.
