3941  Economy / Speculation / Re: Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt on: July 26, 2018, 11:06:39 PM
Logically this year was the best period to get profit, nothing to talk abojt bankrupt. Bitcoin reached 20K USD in winter, I highly believe some traders spent most of their bitcoins this time. Anyonr had to be crazy to buy bitcoins on 20K for holding and hope of future rise or big profit at that time. Then as we see price felt and felt, so currently is a goos time to buy some bitcoins and as I talked previously, this year was great for profit.
3942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best new altcoin for gpu mining? on: July 26, 2018, 09:36:26 PM
Yeah, despite the fact that after Bitmain released asics and almost killed GPU mining, I still vote for GPU, old but gold. Also if you see developers think to make their coins ASIC resistant, this means bitmain's asic may have a short life. On december GTX 1080ti had great profitability for 2 week, with that statistics it could ROI in 2 month on nicehash and on another coins as whattomine displayed.
But I would sell current GPUs and wait for upcoming ones...
3943  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ Since 2014 on: July 26, 2018, 08:34:46 PM
I sent .0586 btc to sage dice last night.

I cannot access the account

And I’ve sent 15 email that have not been answered 1 time

There were 45 confirms yesterday last I checked

It seems like the BTC deposits are still down based on this statement:
SD is currently having updates to the login as well as for BTC deposits/withdrawals. The login should be fixed within the hour, and BTC deposits should be back up here very soon. Will keep everyone updated as soon as it is fixed. Thanks for the patience
You should take a note that he only guaranteed that the log in will be back within an hour but SDupdate didn't include or promise that the deposits will be fix again. Also I wonder who this SDupdate is because for some time SDmod is the one who is handling all the concerns posted in their thread, and he is barely active about it. Can someone confirm if SDupdate is really affiliated to SafeDice?
Who is SDupdate? Even this nickname 100 means someone jokes here, similarly like hashocean facebook pages (it has to so nothing here, just similar example). Only legit ones here I know are SDMod/Ethan.
Can't understand what's happening finally here, do they turn into scam? Because a lot of people are having trouble and their major account isn't tagged too.
3944  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term vs. Long term investments on: July 26, 2018, 08:05:05 PM
What I understand from bitcoin trading is that long term investment always wins. Let me explain, short term here usually means buy low, sell high <-- repeat this often, for example once a week or more often but sad fact is that it usually isn't profitable and it's very hard to predict anything, very risky and less profitable if you aren't super lucky. But on Long term, you don't care about low rise and fall, you wait for that moment when price rises a lot and it's pretty easy to catch this moment on long term.
3945  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency news on: July 26, 2018, 07:40:13 PM
OP are you Bulgarian? Any source/link would be better. Also if you decide to publish something like this but in more details, you can create topic in press subsection.
If I amn't wrong, I have heared something similar was planned but can't remember if it was Bulgaria. Anyway it's great news, to my mind bitcoin ATMs must be in airports amd big city molls in every country, at least it will help a lot of people, especially tourists.
3946  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Which field can blockchain technology be applied? on: July 26, 2018, 07:02:30 PM
OP please if you are really interested to get answer on your question, don't get lost.
Blockchain Technology is amazing, it can be applied in a lot of services and there are some companies, especially Bitfury which works on it. For example blockchain technologies are useful in land titling as an extra layer of protection, another example which is just an idea of our forum member is to use blockchain to prevent falsification of golds and a lot.
3947  Other / Meta / Re: Seeking reporter badge images on: July 26, 2018, 05:18:54 PM
I suggest something like this just to give an idea but a better version:

A police hat in general could give the idea of reporting imo

If you hadn't said that that was a police hat, I wouldn't have known what it was. Unfortunately, it's hard to depict an object with that much detail within 16 pixels.

-

Regarding the counter issue, you could solve it by creating a 'title' tag with the amount of valid reports that were made. The number of results can be displayed when rolling over the icon, such as in the following mockup:

Image ~snip~
Theymos it's a great idea, I think it will motivate people (and make moderators tired lol) to report more spam and clean some threads like "bitcoin ruined my nephew's life" and etc.
BTCforJoe
Your image, idea of showing badge this way is great, it makes more sense to choose best one. But to be fair badge isn't good one, it's very simple and colour doesn't suit forum's template too.
I'll try to find some good ones today or tomorrow...
3948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction unconfirmed, why ? on: July 26, 2018, 03:56:47 PM
Thank you guys for your quick answers, it's very kind from you !

I made that transaction with my Ledger nano S, I just click on the "standard fees" as they say..
Next time I think I'll add more fees than the "standard"  Undecided
Firstly I want to mention that current TX fees are very low so there is no need of panic, your transaction will get confirmation soon in anyway.
Another thing I want to tell you is that you can manually set transaction fees and for your choice, https://bitcoinfees.earn.com <-- this website can be a great help.
3949  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁NEW UPDATE★★★WORLD CUP PROMO★★★🎁 on: July 25, 2018, 11:38:05 PM
We are now less than 300 Million bets away to reach another miles stone for Bitsler whic is the 28 Billionth Bet and the bets are keep on coming. Maybe it's a good idea if Bitsler can make a promotion on who can guess when the 28 Billionth Bet will happen.

They won't do this promo because its very easy to guess more or less the minute or 5 minute range when the milestone bet can happen.

Basically when the bets are close to the milestone the bets are going up exponentially and before you know it the milestone was already reached.

Trust me, i've tried in the past to hit all these milestones and I assumed I was the only one paying attention and before I knew it there was probably hundreds of other gamblers doing the exact same thing.
Agreed, it's very easy to guess. Such promotion don't worths and to my mind no one will do it too because it's simple nonsense to my mind, promotion has to give you adrenaline rush too.
As I see bitsler's forum is active, I especiay like their designer, he or she is very talented, if anyone saw winners list, it's amazing. And bitsler's team isn't active here too, hope it will change.
3950  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How soon will automakers start accepting crypto for there payments on: July 25, 2018, 11:06:06 PM
Didn't know if some company was accepting bitcoin as a payment way because 2 years ago people were dreaming it. On another hand, why to pay with bitcoins? Isn't it very risky? One mistake in adress or etc and your bitcoins are lost + you can't get bitcoins back. Also as you see, old people don't know much about bitcoin + don't trust this, to my mind it's the reason why bitcoin isn't accepted by autodealers because there is almost zero demand.
3951  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Jeff Bezos will beocme a trillionaire? on: July 25, 2018, 10:39:22 PM
Usually I don't post in similar threads but what I read today is the reason of my current action. Well, I amn't going to talk much, I read on dailymail that 21 year old cryptocurrency tycoon Chris Kelsey claims he will be first trillionare and beat his opponents in this titul. This person is also become millionaire at 19 years old.
Here is link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-5990153/I-worlds-trillionaire-says-21-year-old-cryptocurrency-tycoon-Chris-Kelsey.html
3952  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Companies in the travel industry which accept crypto for their services?(NO ICO) on: July 25, 2018, 08:38:18 PM
OP are you looking for airlines or any website where you are able to book tickets?
Btw as I see cheapair seems legit, it's on list of websites which supports crypto, personally I haven't used them.
If anyone has used that website, is it possible to book WizzAir's ticket with bitcoin? And if anyone knows, write websites to book hotels/rooms with bitcoin.
Thanks...
3953  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Announcing BPIP - The Bitcointalk Public Information Project! on: July 25, 2018, 08:06:32 PM
Great project , I remember one man posted in meta section that he was looking for public information from bitcointalk for his research project or something similar and here we got it, btw was that your inspiration?
Some members, for example Minerjones and Luptin are shown as Copper Member, don't they have to be shown as Legendary members? (despite the fact they bought copper).
Good project needs good template too, in need I can help you in html/css and photoshop Smiley
3954  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: SKRILL-Withdrawal on: July 25, 2018, 05:42:33 PM
As far as I know bitcoin deposits can't be used for withdraw, you only can send them to others. Personally I have never had any problem with skrill, maybe I am just lucky... Be sure that they'll respond your emails and usually check spam section too.
If you want to exchange btc to paypal, you can contact me too.
3955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which countries do online gambling companies choose to be based on ? Why ? on: July 24, 2018, 11:23:28 PM
If we're talking about crypto gambling sites I'd say Estonia or Great Britain because these countries check in every aspect. They allow gambling, have positive attitude towards cryptos, have stable financial and political situation and allow for fast and cheap registration of a business. If you're asking about normal gambling businesses, check out the top 5 gambling cities. You can google it.
Great Britain is my lovely country but as I see it's not that hard to run scam website here, I mean almost all hype with SSL certificate is UK based.
Also as we see, bitcoin websites aren't based on countries user down below posted. They choose curaccao, why? Because for a lot of reason, firstly consider bitcoin regulations and this country is free from it, then consider how much you have to pay in budget, how your service is stored safely to get rid of any problems and a lot.
3956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung start to accept Bitcoin on 3 countries on: July 24, 2018, 10:48:09 PM
Samsung is reportedly accepting cryptocurrency payments in several Baltic States using Copay.

The Lithuania-based company made the announcement today. Customers in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, and Kaunas in the countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania will be able to purchase Samsung smartphones, tablets, laptops, TV sets, and more with cryptocurrency.

The full list of countries from here:

https://smartereum.com/25408/cryptocurrency-payment-samsung-stores-in-baltic-states-now-accept-payment-in-cryptocurrencies-samsung-blockchain-news-today/
That's a great news, this may means samsung will include built-in bitcoin wallet (software). And I believe it will be top in security but let's forget this for a while. We know microsoft and some known company used bitpay for it, then there was ipayyou for starbucks, before that therr was something too (sorry but can't remember). Now we see samsung is partner of another and for me unknown company. That's strange and makes sense at the same time too, this means serious steps are taken that will make bitcoin popular and yeah, my post isn't offtopic.
3957  Economy / Economics / Re: Another pseudo article on bitcoin: The source of currency and social inequality. on: July 24, 2018, 08:22:49 PM
In the future the importance of money will reduce significantly. Already today we see that most information on the Internet is free. And free open source software is becoming stronger and stronger. In a relatively near future even physical things will start to become free. As Ray Kurzweil said, we will soon be able to email physical objects (created at the recipient side by 3D nanotech printers).

So future power will more likely be people's desires rather than money. Smart people should move away from being too much concerned about money.
What's smart people's aim? Usually money. For money they invent something, do something and kick their asses. Also free information on internet is given because for example on youtube you can earn money with tutorials, monetize your blog with adsense and a lot, if you see everyone tries to earn money. But yeah, there are some people who do it for free. Thia doesn't means some things will become free in real life because our live is like a predator.
3958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are online gambling games fixed? on: July 24, 2018, 10:52:30 AM
Dice is usually provably fair, despite the fact that some aren't really faie, you can check very popular websites which are really fair and their provably fair system makes them popular among others.
Also I want to mention that if you didn't win after some bets, for example 0.01btc High roll for 15x and still lose, this doesn't means game isn't fair, if you know math, everything is possible, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
Personally I wouldn't trust Slots, they are real money making machine for casino owners.
3959  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Post your own crypto news for free - CoinScribble on: July 23, 2018, 09:35:31 PM
At some point it's good for "hiring free" people to publish/copy articles on your website. But you may know there are a lot of shit ICO/Bounties, one of them already posted in your thread, imagine what will happen on your website. Downvote isn't solution too, someone may abusr it and in any way you need team who will check every news.
You need to improve your template and make it nicer, wish you success.
3960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much electricity does bitcoin need? on: July 23, 2018, 08:53:29 PM
Don't wanted to say but to be fair energy is really wasted in bitcoin mining. For example if you know georgia, it's third country after china and usa in bitcoin mining, this country is very small and people here are in number less than Croatia. And such a small country is almost third in mining (if not third, it's in top list but I read somewhere it's third). So imagine, people like easy/free money here + add Bitfury to this which gets electricity in very cheap price and they are in tax free zone. For this reason people have to pay higher in electricity compared to last years.
