3961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty rewards on: December 01, 2020, 09:31:59 AM
This isn’t something that we should still be talking about by now, we have discussed this a lot of times here.
I don’t know why anyone would come and blame hunters, anyone blaming hunters for the price of tokens that fall is dumb asf.

Why would you be blaming hunters like it has anything to do with them? They were hired to work and after they finish working hard you expect them to not take the reward for their work because you think them taking it is the reason for the project falling? This is a complete dumb excuse. How about we blame the investors who will even pump the tokens and dump them later?
3962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal blocked a member's account due to cryptocurrency trading on: December 01, 2020, 07:16:10 AM
PayPal are just literally thieves, they will sell crypto to you and then ban you from making use of your account for no good reason and take your money. This is not the first complaint I am seeing about this PayPal crypto thing, they have blocked so many accounts that belonged to users that were buying crypto with their platform.

Right from time I have always known that’s what PayPal will be like, they place too much restrictions on their platforms, and it wouldn’t be good for trading crypto because you would need to be trading all the time when you’re a day trader. PayPal is just for Hodl and it doesn’t even make any sense because it doesn’t work like regular wallets.

What are you going to do with the money you already gift to Biden bettors when president Trump is reelected? Are you going to ask those people to give you that money back?
Saying that "they paid Biden bettors for no reason" would be one of the most illogical things I have ever heard in my life. You can check each states results from the official vote counting, not media, not PR teams of any party, not anyone who would want to speculate, I am talking about the official results from the official workers who have worked there and declared the results so far.

Who else would be more qualified to give that result? I mean these are the people who counted the votes and told the world the result, literally they are in charge of telling the whole world who USA voted for, that is their job and that is how presidents get elected. This is not media that you hate so much, this is the official results. And official results say Biden won.
3964  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: November 30, 2020, 08:12:12 PM
I think it might be time to actually move the topic name to official sponsor of Southampton instead of Arsenal lol. Right now Southampton is 5th in the league and they are at European league levels so far, whereas Arsenal is 14th, and very close to relegation zone as well which is funny if you ask me. I know that name of Arsenal worths a lot more no matter where they end up, even if they go down this year to lower league, they would still have a much bigger name all around the world and that is why their name is in the topic name over Southampton.

However if you look at their situation right now only for this season you would have imagine Southampton to be a team that has been decent for decades whereas arsenal is a team that barely manages to hang on.
3965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what successfull trading tips have worked with you so far ? on: November 30, 2020, 06:28:28 PM
what trading tips that actually worked with you so far?
and by worked i meant that you are making profit rather than losing money ...
PS: buying a long time ago is not a trading tip
Being patient has always been a good one, buy low and sell high is always good, be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy works as well. These are literally sayings and not even indicators or tips in technical sense and they all come out of the same result.

If you know that one thing will be good in the future and not have any fundamental issue, you should always wait for it to crash for a very low price because of something and just buy it during that period, and wait for something huge to happen to make it increase. Bitcoin is like that, but do not think the same for some small bad shady token, only few coins are that much trustworthy.

Buy them when to go 50%+ down and sell them when to go 100%+ higher and you would make money without a doubt, and it always does those falls and ups.
3966  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Bearish on: November 30, 2020, 05:58:11 PM
We should stop with these type of huge overreactions to each movement. I see bitcoin going up few hundred dollars and suddenly there are tons of posts about how bitcoin will be $318k and none of them are around anymore, go check them and there hasn't been any messages on their topic for few days now that bitcoin is down. And when bitcoin is down there are tons of topics about how bitcoin is bearish, bitcoin is going down, bitcoin will be 0 and many things like that. Is this like a joke to some people?

I mean you do realize that not every single move in the crypto world has to be 1000x right? Just because it went down 10% doesn't mean it will continue to go down 90%+ more neither, and just because it went up 10% doesn't mean it will go up 100% more neither.
3967  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is your unforgettable experience in trading? on: November 30, 2020, 04:28:31 PM
I remember back in the day when I have never used any trading bot at all, there was one that sold for not that much money, plus it also had the option of "bring two people and get yours free" as well, but I never used one and didn't know how they worked. So, I talked with the owner for a while and he explained to me what the bot did and how I could manually do it as well, wasn't really that complicated... to him Cheesy.

I learned what he thought me that day and he said go try it manually, you do not even have to buy it, just find when the bot should buy and write the numbers down, and check it when it should sell, according to how the bot works and I did just that.

However as it turns out, I learned it reverse, so whenever I found a coin that it should buy, it dropped right away and it sold when it was lower and right about to go up Cheesy. Turns out I had to do reverse but for a week I found perfect coins to not buy Cheesy.
3968  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH then correction of 35%+ on: November 30, 2020, 02:09:31 PM
At least OP is honest about what he is saying. He said he is just guessing and nobody can predict it correctly because we have no idea whats going to happen, and I agree with him. I do not agree with him on the new ATH and 35%+ correction part because we do have corrections, here we were in one of the corrections right now and it wasn't nearly at 35% levels, this was more like 10% correction give or take and I would say something similar may happen as well.

For example reaching to $22k and than dropping to $19.5k levels could be pretty simple and realistic as well, I am not sure if it would be exactly those numbers but I am sure it will be something similar to that at least. The price will probably have a correction of maximum 20% and probably not even that much.
3969  Economy / Speculation / Re: Recent Bitcoin Correction on: November 30, 2020, 12:50:06 PM
I always loved this period of bitcoin, when bitcoin goes down that is the best time for me, I love it when I see people being afraid of bitcoin price like suddenly it is nothing. This is exactly where you should buy bitcoin, because when it is down, it is really not that much down and it means it will go back up.

Do you ever see a future where bitcoin will NEVER go over $20k? I do not see it, maybe it took 3 years to get close, maybe it will take another 3 years go over, but it will happen for sure. This is why buying right now is perfect, if you buy now and it goes back up, you profit, if it continues to go down you can keep buying lower and lower and drop your average as well. It is always awesome for whenever bitcoin goes down to see people panic about it.
3970  Economy / Economics / Re: How does bitcoin market cap take into acount forever lost bitcoins on: November 29, 2020, 06:16:10 PM
They do not really take that into consideration, and there is really no need to consider it gone neither because they are actually "there" as in they do exist, they are just unreachable but that is just for now.

We do not know the future of bitcoin and blockchain world but I assume there could potentially be a method where people could find a way to get back into their own wallets, or reach into other wallets that has no security at all, it would be basically hacking at a level where other party doesn't need to exist in order to happen, or even quantum computers could exist to both secure our coins, but also hack into unsecured ones. So long story short it is not guaranteed that those coins are fully gone, there could always be something in the future that could bring them back.
3971  Economy / Economics / Re: US Firm Launches Company-Sponsored Bitcoin Retirement Plans on: November 29, 2020, 04:02:59 PM
I am not going to lie, they could do this for people who do not understand bitcoin very well, for people who heard about bitcoin on the news and how it is breaking records after records and how it has improved more than any other thing this year etc etc, those people who can't buy bitcoin all by themselves or at least feel a bit scared about it.

But for people like me, who already have a retirement plan that includes bitcoin, they are worthless and what they are doing is useless as well. What these type of companies bring as risk is the fact that when they get in, if they are big enough they are a good advantage for us but when they get out it is remarkably worse. For example paypal came out recently and that surely effected well but with all the bad news coming out of them banning people, it sounds like they are also effecting it worse as well.
3972  Economy / Economics / Re: this pandemic have made me do research on things i never tought before economy on: November 29, 2020, 09:46:43 AM
Well, I am not good at all these, so I can’t tell for sure. But sincerely I don’t see anything wrong with reopening the economy, except the fact that a lot of things have not been put in place. We should be more worried about what will happen to people if we reopen the economy because a lot of people are going to die, killed by the coronavirus.

I am saying this, though I know that some people are now starting to overlook the Covid-19, especially where I live where some people are seeing it as a fake news. Well, that’s the work of ignorance. A lot of them don’t even wear masks any longer, they just don’t care.
3973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow a trading process. on: November 28, 2020, 07:06:48 PM
Being emotional during trading is something you should avoid but many people can't, and it is understandable. For example during this falling period, a lot of people were scared that the bitcoin price would suddenly crash to unbelievable levels and that is why they ended up selling, I do not agree that should be something we should be afraid of, but that is what happened unfortunately for many people and they got out, some people even sold under $17k and already in a loss.

This is not something they should have done, do not be scared of the fall, but I also understand why they would be, we had a $20k to under $10k in like few months back in the day so they were afraid same thing could have happened and there were no proof that it wouldn't be like that, so I understand them too.
3974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: US people are buying LTC while the other world is avoiding it on: November 28, 2020, 06:29:34 PM
Litecoin has never felt like it is something I would like to invest, ever since Charlie Lee became a big part of it and ended up selling a ton of it, I have always felt that litecoin is not something to trust, even the person at the head of it doesn't trust it enough to keep it so why should I trust it? Hence for the past 3 or 4 years I haven't invested heavily into it, had it a bit for a while but it was such a small number that I just did it for a short term gain and after it increased I ended up selling it once again.

I am not planning on reinvesting into it anytime so neither so it could be just ignored for me by all accounts. Obviously I am not saying everyone else should neither, that is your decision and do whatever you think would be the right thing to do.
3975  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: i bulit a reddit/hackernews clone for crypto on: November 28, 2020, 09:13:17 AM
I think you need to design it a bit. The idea still stands, I know there will be a lot of people who will say that reddit already exists and reddit has tons of subreddits as well but just because twitter exists doesn't mean reddit is useless and just because reddit exists doesn't mean bitcointalk is useless so with the same idea as long as you can make it look good and get enough people you could totally get tons of people to your website as well.

However right now it looks unfinished, it looks like the design is required to be better, I know not everyone can afford a good web designer but I would say if you could save some money and hire a designer you could potentially get a better look thanks to them and get a developer build it for you, after that you can start working.
3976  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Climbs Above $19,000 – Heading to New All-Time High? on: November 27, 2020, 03:54:56 PM
We are still heading to all time high, do not be worried. I hate it when people act as if bitcoin became something so small that it is worthless now just after a huge increase. If you think $17k is bad because went from $19k to here, you are very wrong because we also moved from $10k to $17k in the past 2 months as well, why not focus on that part of the situation?

People always ignore how awesome we have improved and just care about the drop. We didn't even dropped that much neither, it is something like 10% or even 20% is not that big. For something that went as high as 90% in the past 2 months, dropping 20% or so is not really that big, it is a correction and there are people who are taking out their profits they made in the past 2 months, that was expected anyway.
3977  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in Freefall, What to Do? on: November 27, 2020, 03:21:36 PM
I do not think that it will be like 2018 where it goes down. Look at the price right now, we are hanging on and still trying to go back up, which shows you that we are not done with the bull momentum just yet. Also 2018 had a lot of different stuff that caused the price to fall, I doubt that would happen again.

In 2017 there were tons of companies like steam and amazon and many other places that started to accept bitcoin as payment, and they removed it when it started to fall, which caused a lot of lack of buys, there was bch vs bsv type of war that caused it to go down as well and most importantly there were mt.gox trustee selling 30k+ bitcoins type of situations as well. This year or in the future we do not have those type of situations that could cause it to go down that much that quickly.
3978  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆⚽ Adkinsbet.com | Sports | In-Play | ESports | Racebook | Virtual Sports | ⚽🏆 on: November 27, 2020, 08:23:12 AM
Hey Adkins I hope you would be able to finish your mobile version I was trying to place bet on my phone yesterday at work and it's really hard to navigate for now and I wasn't able to place bet yesterday on live matches. So I can only play when I have access on desktop usually when I'm home I hope you could finish it as soon as possible so I could still place bet anywhere.
I tried to access Adkinsbet with the mobile version but the display remains the same as the desktop which means it's the same but I have never made a bet there and most of my bet is when opening the laptop because it has become a habit for me to do it.
If you feel that you are not wearing enough, I think you need to convey to the team so that they continue to follow up so that this hospitality is maintained.
They have managed to beat the ddos attackers so they are probably back at working on regular stuff like mobile for example but it is not guaranteed, I do not know how well they are ready to move on that problem right now. However it is obvious that people could definitely request some improvements on some stuff and even though it won't be instant at least team should know what the priority for people would be.

Obviously we are not going to suddenly start seeing a mobile improvement in a day, and they could still work on the security part for few more weeks as well without looking at the mobile situation, however this doesn't mean that we can't give feedback. When they are done with the security, they will check to see whats going on with the public and they will try to make improvements according to what the public wants.
3979  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: November 26, 2020, 06:46:19 PM
The talk about review websites have moved along too much if you ask me. We get it there are websites that takes money from bad places and list them as good in return of a lot of affiliate income or even advertisement money, good for them to take what they want and not wait for others, in crypto world everyone cares only about their own pocket and nobody else.

There are also places that only list good places but remove some good places that doesn't have affiliate, which is also fine, do whatever you want it is your website. And rhavar (and mainly devans obviously) act as if they do not care about it but talks about them not being fair for not listing bustabit which is fairly one of the biggest places in crypto world, and they are right too it should be listed. To me everyone is right for their personal reasons, can we move on?
3980  Economy / Economics / Re: Paypal bought up to 70% of all the newly mined bitcoin recently on: November 26, 2020, 05:36:38 PM
Paypal didn't do anything, it was the people who are in paypal and uses paypal's crypto section that bought it. People need to realize that paypal does nothing, it is just a middleman, if there are tons of crypto purchased from paypal that means it was regular humans that bought it and not paypal itself, paypal just helped those people.

So, if people decide to never use paypal for crypto ever again, paypal would have zero significance on crypto all of a sudden as well. Obviously it will never be zero, and this could grow in the future as well, but we have to remember that it is still the market that decides this. We have to learn the difference between places like grayscale that directly buys bitcoin from the market, versus paypal that is just helping others buy from the market.
