3961  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to avoid as a beginner in trading Bitcoin? on: January 22, 2021, 11:12:05 AM
As a beginner there are lots of things to put in consideration and there are lot's of things you have to avoid. First of all you don't have to be greedy when trading, you also have to learn how to control your emotions when trading, don't always fomo, always use your stop loss but I think that one is optional, always make sure you make your own research before buying any coin, avoid coins with low volume and always know when to exit the market. I think this are something you have to know as a beginner but you can still do more research.
Knowing these is one thing, being capable of doing them are another, I would say you definitely know it right and you should follow these very carefully, but it will be a lot harder when you are in a tough situation with it. I am not saying you will fail, there are so many great traders and investors who started as newbies like you and became great, you could definitely become one of them, there are so much more people who knew but failed because they got excited about it as well so try to not be like them.

Also work on DCA a lot, there is always merit into that because if you can do DCA properly and keep buying consistently for long period of years? That is going to end up allowing you to retire without any problem at all, that is the type of thing you should be focusing on and not just how to buy low and sell high since that would be too quick.
3962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attention: Biden has officially won, make sure your sportsbook pay you. on: January 22, 2021, 10:21:04 AM
That really took a long time for the elections to come to an end. That Trump was also very stubborn. But on the other hand, it is also logical that he did not just want to resign from his presidency. I wonder if people bet a lot that Biden would win.
Trump acted like a sore loser and only increased his haters with this kind of behavior but anyways finally things are confirmed and I hope all the sportsbooks have paid our their players. I made a small bet at stake and got paid out way back so was never waiting for this but I know lots of sites waited until now to pay out so congrats who got paid finally.

People did not bet a lot on Biden, in fact Trump was the heavy favorite from what I remember when live betting was going on and even on the last day where only a few electoral votes/seat were left the odds were still up and I was surprised if that was a mistake because Biden win was almost certain and odds on last day though were low around 1.1 but still juicy considering he already almost won it. But Trump was favorite earlier until counting began.
3963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people still buying XRP? on: January 22, 2021, 09:01:52 AM
XRP is quite attractive to buyers and investors despite of not good information that came out. It is still one of the top altcoins and what I also liked in XRP is the fast and low transaction fee. Now that XRP has a lowest value many people grab this opportunity to buy more because I also think that XRP is good for a long term.
Quite frankly even as someone who hates XRP as much as possible, I wouldn't say that it was a bad one, it is definitely one of the best at moving money around, that is literally the reason why it was created and Ripple made tens of millions of dollars worth of profit from transacting money around for bigger companies using XRP as well because that is the point of it. However question here is the fact that there are people who use it for buying and holding it and trying to make money from it.

So buying it and holding it will not be using advantages of quick and cheap transactions, because you buy it and hold it and not move it, if you do not move it then how it is fast will not matter. And for buying and keeping it will never be profitable and will never be understandable by others because it is really not looking great anymore.
3964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple is dying on: January 22, 2021, 08:11:00 AM
The price of XRP in dollars is still higher then 3 months ago so I don't think it's dying.

They just had some problems but it looks like it's getting up again.
Definitely, ripple is never dead and can never die, though their case in the court with SEC will bring their price down for some certain period of time, but that doesn't mean they will be dead. In the coming weeks, ripple price will go more higher than expected because it is cheaper at the moment.
It "may" die, it can't never die because it is tied to centralized organization. How it could "die"? It could die if the company Ripple one day is bankrupted and closed, if that happens that means XRP is still out there, nobody could delete all XRP and that means it is still out there even if there is no more Ripple company in the world, so it is not fully dead. However one thing is for sure if the company bankrupted or closed for any reason, or simply just jailed the owners, that would be sort of dead by in any standard.

We have to realize that if that happens that means we are not going to see XRP used that much anymore, what would people do with XRP when Ripple is gone? That is why I think there is a chance it could die, I doubt that it would be fully closed ever and Ripple will continue even if SEC finds them guilty of anything, but there is a possibility.
3965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 21, 2021, 06:50:16 PM
Another early exit for Real Madrid, so once more Barca fans like me will be happy to progress and know we won't meet them. Not like it's really going to change things. Probably even worse to reach the final and lose again at the end;)

But anyway, good news our rivals are all also falling about.
Honestly it is really a weird feeling to have Real Madrid get out this early once again, they are such a big and great club, why not care about the cup at all?

I mean they didn't play with full youth squad or anything but they did played with few players resting that is for sure, I get that you are playing against a much much lower opponent so that is why you think having few starter caliber players are enough, but as we can see from this example it is never enough, you have always have a fire underneath you so that you could beat people, it doesn't matter if it is starters or bench or anything, if you do not play with a decent hype or motivation you are going to end up losing to anyone.

In any case I think it is obvious that Barcelona will have a huge advantage this year, if Real lost that means Barça can lose too so they need to be careful, but their biggest rival is out so they have a good shot at it.

https://coinmarketcap.com/alexandria/article/coinmarketcap-earn-campaign-with-1inch
CoinMarketCap Earn Campaign With 50,000 1inch Reward Pool

"CoinMarketCap's latest earn campaign is with DEX aggregator 1inch — get learning!

In order to facilitate a smooth distribution process, CoinMarketCap users must also have Binance Know-Your-Customer verified accounts to participate in the CoinMarketCap Earn campaign. This may be revisited for future campaigns, but for the 1inch campaign, you must have a Binance KYC account to receive 1inch rewards. "
I feel like these "distributions" or basically called airdrops are the reason why prices are capable of dropping easily, because without airdrops there would be only people who have paid for it and people who paid for it wouldn't be capable of selling it that easily, they would want profit, and if the price goes down they would stop selling. However when it is free, there is nothing we could talk about at all, we are basically talking about people who do few clicks and then get it for free and they sell it right away.

Thankfully many things in ethereum chain right now can't be sold that easily, I have spent 10 dollars into a token on pre-sale and it came out recently and I have about 30 dollars of it now, price went up, that is great, however I can't even withdraw because it requires 32 dollars to swap it with ethereum Cheesy So I have to wait. Airdrops are fine as long as you do it small but not this hugely.
3967  Economy / Economics / Re: How will financial crisis affect crypto? on: January 21, 2021, 03:28:30 PM
For me, the financial crisis helps to pump the bitcoin's market its the opportunity for it. Many speculators hang tight for the crash and put their asset when the market goes down. However, by watching the outline of bitcoin's value its appears to be that the financial crisis is presently far away from the bitcoins. The cost is higher than our assumption and now it's difficult for a financial crisis to crash such sum.
That is what crypto meant to be as well, if you have a crash in the regular fiat world that means fiat is going higher and higher in number and inflation is increasing, which is why it is vitally important that people seek other platforms to make money, crypto is number one in that now only rivaled by gold but all the new money goes to crypto not gold, gold has been invested long enough and doesn't produce the same amount of returns anymore.

It is going to take time before we can go over the gold market cap in the world, but we are certainly going there, I do not doubt one second that crypto marketcap will be bigger than gold market cap, and I believe not only crypto market cap, but bitcoin market cap alone will be capable of going over gold as well. We started as a "currency" but crypto became an asset and it became a great one as well.
3968  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of your total assets would you rather invest in bitcoin? on: January 21, 2021, 09:11:27 AM
Assume if your total asset is $200k, expenses/month $7k, income $10k, then preserve $84k as savings for 1 year, invest 50% or $100k in bitcoin if you want to hold it for a year or less. We know bitcoin will reach at least $100k by the end of the year, right?  Cheesy
We hope we know Grin, but in reality, we even don't know what will happen five minutes in the future.
Losing 10% of your net worth is not a big deal. I did it several times, actually, but losing 50% of your net worth is something to cry about.

Of course, the conservative-aggressive spectrum is relative. For some people putting 50% is neutral, but for me, people who did it have big balls made of steel.
I would say even 50% is not to cry about depending on the situation. I am a lucky person to say that my savings account is not something I need to use, at least not all of it and a small portion of it would be fine if an emergency happens but I have managed to instead create debt and repay that instead of using my savings account. During 2018 I have lost literally everything in my account, no crypto no nothing, it was a bad year for me, after an amazing and unbelievable 2017 year I had to yield and let it go.

However I didn't stop, I worked, I earned, I saved, I invested and traded, and right now I have nearly back to that level of money saved again, took me about 2 years but I have reached there obviously with a great help from bitcoin as well. Long story short you can go to zero, have nothing, and you can still regroup and get back on the horse. Never be discouraged, anything is possible if you are willing to work for it.
3969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 21, 2021, 06:00:57 AM
I read the news that Inter want to change the club name and logo. If this is true then they are following Juventus' steps in changing the logo and club name. The name Football Club Internazionale Milano will change its name to Inter Milano and the club logo will have the initials FCIM. This step was taken by the club to modernize the club without leaving history. In addition, this is a strategy to attract new global sponsors. Because we know that during this period, many clubs have experienced financial crises. If I'm not mistaken, the changes will occur on March 9 at the age of 113 Inter.

Source: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/13776149/inter-milan-change-name-logo-anniversary/
I believe that would be easier for many official paper deals, but we are all calling them Inter anyway so it wouldn't really change anything for branding reasons.

Financially speaking, global brands could still advertise with Inter if they want to and it will be "Inter" for us anyway, and it is to the whole world, hell you can do that on a commercial as well if you want to, there is nothing stopping you from calling it inter. This is just saving some paper space by shortening it and that's about it, I do not think it would attract more customers somehow.

But in any case, they are probably modernizing and that is the correct part, because this name being shorter and a new logo that would make it more sleek and simple would allow people to actually feel a lot more connected, I just hope the change is not as bad as Warner brothers new logo change.
3970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 19, 2021, 05:52:55 PM
Mandzukic is a strong man and he is ready to sacrifice his position for benefit of the club. I did not forget how he sacrificed his role to help Juventus in the past. In some moments, Mandzukic played as swing back for Juventus and kept fighting with blood on his face.

In his national squad, Croatia, he is a main striker but he did not hesitate to run, tackle, prevent opponents at their defensive area.

Generally, Mandzukic is a good contract for AC Milan. It will be a good ending for AC Milan if they can take the Scudetto with Ibra, Manzdukic and young teammates. Then they can take this season as a cornerstone for their come back in Serie A.
Ibrahimovic would probably be the only player you will ever need if he was fine and maybe he will be fine as well we do not know, but Milan saw how awesome he was but how he missed like a million games already because of both corona virus and an injury, they realized they needed someone else as well. I do not know if they are going to play them both together, if they want to they can do that, or maybe they could do more like bench one and start the other situation as well.

Ibrahimovic after scoring this many goals in this little amount of game would probably not look being benched that nicely, but Mandzukic would probably be fine with it, he could play like last 20 minutes of games and all the games Ibrahimovic may miss with something else, and that would be enough since he is already getting paid anyway. I just feel that is a lot more likely situation.
3971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: January 19, 2021, 08:14:24 AM
Not a few people are interested in investing in cryptocurrency and you may be amazed by the high yields that the Crypto world can offer, try to teach the person who asks, the more you can teach the more people who know crypto.
I would say take advantage of the situation as well. I know it sounds like a bad thing but in reality it is not. If you are known as the "crypto" person in your circle and they have seen crypto increased so much but it didn't help them? So now they want to get in?

Well, that is where you get involved with these things, they will ask you how they could be part of it right? They will ask you how they can invest or own bitcoin and all. If you just point them out to first exchange you can think of and explain how they can buy and leave, that would mean you gained nothing from that.

Instead you should probably find a way to gather all that attention towards one point, something that would benefit you as well. I am not saying suggest just one coin, unless you are friends with Michael Bloomberg, they are not going to increase the price a lot, but more like a project that you are working on, related to crypto, maybe even a defi? That way they would be the first investors that provide LP and staking.
3972  Economy / Speculation / Re: When and How much low on next Bear Market? on: January 18, 2021, 04:05:54 PM
It is very interesting when we discuss when the bull market will end, because surely everyone has different opinions. Because it is very difficult
to predict the price movement of Bitcoin, even the increase in the price of Bitcoin to $ 40,000 no one expected. But usually if the Bitcoin price
increase is too high like now, usually in the near future there will be a bear market.

Based on my prediction the end of January the bull market will end, then my prediction regarding the lowest price Bitcoin that will occur in the next
bear market is that it will drop to $ 10,000. Because seeing the Bitcoin price that managed to go up above $ 40,000 if it fell back below $ 10,000
it seems unlikely. Hopefully my predictions are correct.
I disagree that it has to have a bear market very soon, after all we could potentially stay here for a while as well. Remember that 10k period? For nearly 6 months we have stayed in 10k price point , in 2019 it was really crazy because we were like 8k to 12k constantly without going any down or higher than that.

I believe we could have something similar to 2019 in 2021 but with a lot higher price, we will probably stay at a certain price and not move too much, not too high not too low. I am not saying it will happen at 40k, it could be at any price, it could be 30k, 35k, 40k, 50k who knows where it will be but there is a chance that could happen. Which is why I think it is quite important that we end up looking at the potential of stability more than we look at potential of bear market. Obviously you should still have some stop loss just in case anyway.
3973  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC go before the next leg up to 45-50k?? on: January 18, 2021, 09:18:36 AM
The correction is over now. It bottomed at $30k. News of a company getting a US charter for digital currencies today plus Grayscale starting to buy again on Tuesday quickly ended the consolidation period of the correction after the drop to $30k. Bitcoin will never go below $30k now.

Never again? So sure already? We're only at $38K.

This is right smack in the middle of the OTE short zone (the 0.618-0.786 Fib retracement). In June 2017, a BTC bull trap reversed in this zone before the market completed a second leg down, crashing 40-41% total from top to bottom.

We'll only know the bottom is in in hindsight. In my opinion, not enough time or price action has passed. I'd say there is still a decent chance of sub-$30K.
I would agree that "never again under 30k" is a big talk, think about grayscale ending up selling ALL their coins, we are talking about over half a million bitcoins, not half a million dollars by the way, half a million of BITCOIN, that would make bitcoin go under 1 thousand dollars probably, there isn't enough money in the market to cover that, even though it wouldn't be anything fundamental changed in bitcoin so I would end up buying, it would still crash until we cover it.

I am not saying that will happen, but never remove the possibility of rich people doing rich things, that is why I would never say "it will never go under 30k dollars again". Best I can do right now is "there is a high chance it will never go under 10k again" because that seems quite possible, we had 3k as number we never went under, and now it could be 10k by now due to the increase, but that is highest I can go to.
3974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 18, 2021, 08:15:44 AM
At least i got this 2 games from Bayern Munich and Frankfurt right after my shit bets on saturday !
I havnt seen the match between Frankfurt and Schalke but from the statistics i have seen Frankfurt was better.
For Schalke it looks like it was a one time win they have done the last weekend.
I too got two games right this week, the Bayern game and Frankfurt game, aside from that it was another loss with the gladbach game. I have wagered on total of 6 games this week and won only 2 of them, obviously in a big loss this week and not winning a lot, but it is still not a bad one neither, two games is better than none. Hopefully next week will be a lot better and I can guess a bit more right.

I do not need 6 out of 6 type of situation but I would rather really have like 3+ at least, like 4 or 5 right would be profitable most of the time. In any case I feel like this week was a big loss for many many gamblers and not just me, so I am not going to feel upset for something many people fall for. Plus having weeks like this brings some joy to league as well, you wouldn't want every single game predictable would you? That would be a lot more boring than this.
3975  Economy / Speculation / Re: What you'll do when BTC price will go down heavily and fast? on: January 18, 2021, 03:52:28 AM
assuming the history of BTC from 2017 - 2018 will repeat this year, what you'll do with your BTC?
People will obviously not be super hyped about a crash if it goes down there, if the price crashed and went down, that literally means people sold their coins, how could we try to look for answers?

I mean sure there will be a lot of people who will keep their coins, there is no doubt about that, but just because we are talking about some people holding, it doesn't matter the mathematically proven fact that in order for bitcoin price to fall, there needs to be a ton of coins sold on the market around the same time, so if the price crashed that means the answer of this question for many people is "sell my coins" because if they didn't sell their coins, the price wouldn't have gone down. I personally would keep mine, because I always keep mine, no matter if it goes up or down, but the market has decided to sell if the price is a lot lower.
3976  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think will be the top cryptocurrencies in 2021 on: January 17, 2021, 06:47:12 PM
It is certain that Bitcoin and Ethereum continue to dominate the market every turn of the year and so far nothing can replace them, and I think that towards the end of the year Bitcoin will tend to increase gradually and many of them experts predict bitcoin price in 2021 will reach its highest price at a value different.
And those are just predictions that aren't necessarily correct, but Bitcoin and Ethereum will continue to dominate the market and be the best options for investing from year to year.
This is certain, but there is still a definition that 2020 will be booming. I think 2021 will also be a new investment for people's preferences to invest. now the average altcoin with the defi concept has experienced a high increase. but I am still doing further research for whether the long term is suitable or not
Yeah the defi period is getting stronger and stronger, because it is definitely a molded one and you can mold it to anything you want. The problem with ICO was the fact that it was just ICO and that's it, you had a project and with the project people either funded it or not funded it and when that was over it was just like any other regular coin there wasn't anything brand new about it.

However with DeFi projects that's not like that, you create something, and another defi comes up and puts something on top of that, and another one makes it even better and it goes on like that and all of that is called defi and you keep making money from it as project owner as well. Look at pancakeswap for example, they have made over 200k dollars just from the small 0.03 commission they take from the LP people, that is on top of the grands they have received from binance and others to just build it.
3977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum now looks like a complete joke on: January 17, 2021, 06:27:07 PM
Waiting for the process to see Ethereum has a price commensurate with Bitcoin's current rise. But the rapidly increasing transaction fees don't make sense in my opinion.
Yes, almost everyone wants to see the Ethereum price at a very high number, but because the transaction fees on the platform have also gone up, this has led some people to complain and choose to trade in other options.
quite unavoidable, considering that almost all projects use the ethereum protocol, these fees can hardly be avoided. I don't think there are many options we can choose either. it's just that ethereum really needs to be faster in updating ethereum 2.0 to fix this gas fee issue
Well bitcoin has dropped 10% in the last week and ethereum didn't dropped, it has increased tiny bit and not a lot but didn't dropped (well dropped but recovered). That should show you how people still use ethereum like crazy and will not be dropped. I would say with the 1559 or 1519 whatever that was which removed the fee from miners and just make it regular rewards? That will definitely make sure that the structure will be time based, so there will be a certain amount of transactions put into a block, will be mined and go past, and then next, money will not be that important anymore hopefully.

Whatever happens I am sure that ethereum foundation still on dropping the fee as well as working towards making 2.0 a reality, sure it will not be quite fast but it will definitely happen. I hope that we will see it in 2021 and drops like under 1 dollars, but even if we do not that doesn't mean price of ETH will go down.
3978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What advice will you give to a beginner trader? on: January 17, 2021, 05:11:51 PM
~snipped~

These are some points which will be useful to a new trader but these are beneficial when any person follow it properly...
I would say this list is as common as it gets and still not followed by all newbies is what makes our market very dangerous for them. I agree almost with everything here, and they are very commonly found in any investment book as well, you have to be careful to follow them and just be careful when trading as well.

However the problem with the newbies these days is that they have worked all their life for money that doesn't exist, they ended up spending it because life is not fair and paycheck to paycheck life is a reality for over 2 billion people and they are probably one of them, you end up saving 10k dollars by miracle if you ever can (some even can't) and you want to have enough money to just retire or maybe even have your own work because you hate working for others. What happens? You end up getting carried away by these news of people who made tens of millions of dollars profit from bitcoin and you throw all caution to side and go into crypto all-in and make mistakes.
3979  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There is no certainty in trading on: January 17, 2021, 04:09:43 PM
Risk  level is the difference between gambling and trading and also with the set-up on how things should be dealt of and we know that trading is something that do need proper analysis and knowledge for you to benefit on.

There's no assurance when it comes to profitability but somehow it can give out that opportunity  for you to make money with less risk compared on doing actual gambling.

Just do your work and research with some little bit mix of luck when you do trade. Gambling is for pure entertainment and we know on whats the difference clearly.
The biggest difference between trading and gambling is that there is no way anyone can win long term with gambling, you will always lose, whereas trading could be profitable in the long term. If you gamble against the house edge, you are going to end up losing your money because mathematically speaking the odds are in the casinos favor and you are not doing a profitable deal there, you will end up losing it.

Whereas in trading, you could do two things, either you can get out with a loss and that is your choice if you do not want to wait, but you can always just end up waiting and eventually it may turn out to be a profit as well. Nobody forces anyone to make a loss and you will be capable of profiting. Obviously these things are a bit hard to handle, but at least they are possible things in trading but it is impossible in the gambling world for sure.
3980  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 17, 2021, 03:43:53 PM
I just want to give an opinion about who says the games are rigged because he has not won even though he has been using it for many years.  You know, you're not the only one playing here, there are many of us.  Maybe there are only a few of us here in the forum who use this platform compared to the millions of users who are not here.  Just think that the winners especially in the lottery are not here in the forum so they can not share their winnings.  If you understand the provably fair, all you need is pure luck to win, no matter how little or how many tickets you have.  Except for the weekly contest of wagered amount.  It also does not matter how long you have been using it, as all winners are based on the chance of their luck and random selection.  Hope you will understand...
As long as we know how the provably fair system works and how people can check if they have been scammed or not, all those talks about being rigged games are funny things. Each lambo has a system where you can check if it was fair, each lottery has a fair system, each dice has one, each faucet has one.

There is absolutely nothing in the world that you could potentially have anything that you have to end up with unknown result that you are not sure about. So that means if it is provably fair, you check it, and if it isn't fair you end up showing that to the world, if it is fair however you end up realizing you weren't scammed and the games are not rigged.

Someone who can see the fairness of the game and still call it rigged would be just lying and there are tons of people in the world who would refuse responsibility of their actions, these are just some of them.
